361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why altcoin prices down when bitcoin up. on: May 22, 2017, 09:21:40 AM
Usually when bitcoin price starts increasing, altcoins start bleeding.Altcoin investors immediately sell their altcoins to buy bitcoins.Due to this large sale occuring suddenly, altcoin prices start to fall.Similarly when bitcoin price falls, investors start to sell their bitcoins and buy altcoins. So altcoin price increases.

363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin eventually kill Altcoin? on: May 21, 2017, 12:56:37 PM
This is not true, the opposite happens historically - when BTC goes up ALTS follow.

were you living under a rock this past December?  They eventually do, but there is always a lag, btc price rise has always hurt alt prices in the short term.
When bitcoin price rises, immediately it has a negative impact on altcoins prices but temporarily. Then slowly, altcoins start to recover from price fall.We could not say that altcoins survival is entirely dependent on bitcoin.Altcoins do have some features not provided by bitcoin,So altcoins would still exist even if bitcoin price goes to million dollar.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you also disturbed by how people chose shitcoins being pump in the market? on: May 21, 2017, 12:44:22 PM
well, it is making me feel a little bit trouble by how some of unknown coins taking over the crypto currency trading. I believe I am not the only one that is dissapointed right now?
Its a sad thing happening today in altcoin market.Altcoin is a nice concept of providing important features like anonymity, etc which were not provided by bitcoin. But today any one who wishes starts a coin without any road map, vision, etc.More over big whales choose a altcoin and starts to pump it unless their target price is reached and then just dump it.By these ways, reputation of altcoins is highly damaged.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum: Good alt or stay away? on: May 21, 2017, 12:36:12 PM
Hi everyone, I've been around for a while now..
I've seen a lot of posts positive and negative about Ethereum.

At the moment I am holding Bitcoins, but I have invested in some Ether as well.

Now I am wondering, what are legitimate concerns about Ether (except for IPO, as I've already read this in a lot of posts).

So can anyone bring real other issues to the table, to enlighten me (and maybe a lot of other readers?)

Thanks!
Ethereum is the second next oldest crypto coin next to bitcoin. It has survived these much years in front of bitcoin. It shows its potential. The only drawback was the hard fork which led to split of ethereum into ETH and ETC.Running in smart contract is one of the salient feature of ethereum.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next big thing? on: May 21, 2017, 12:28:59 PM
I'm not talking can there appear one coin who will kill BTC, just asking where are we heading? What is next, where trends taking us, what else is not already covered?  For example i still belive in anon coins, also file sharing will become more popular because one by one torrent destination falling down.

Yes we have too much useless coins but free trade will pick up best ones. Wink
Altcoins are first created to provide some main features like anonymity which is not provided by bitcoin. For example,we could say Monero,Zcash are created mainly for that reason. But still altcoins lack the trust which bitcoin has gained.Being pioneer in crypto field may be the main reason for bitcoin to be more popular. If only any one of altcoin gains trust like bitcointhen only we would be able to see the change.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Survey] What would it take for you to quit ? on: May 21, 2017, 10:50:32 AM
The question is vague on purpose.
I hope the question is provocative and gets people thinking.

For example..
Would you quit the Altcoins thing if ?
- Your favorite coin was never mass adopted.
- You lost a lot of money trading.
- Tough laws were passed making all this far harder to do.
- Bitcointalk shut down.

What would make you quit ?
And you tell us all what "quit" would mean to you.

For example i quit.. but pretty much trading for profit only.
Very few altcoins are legit and most of the other coins are just shit coins. If a situation comes, when there is no more legit coin, then i would quit trading as there would be no nuse in trading at such a situation.
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to increase BTC? on: May 21, 2017, 10:45:34 AM
Hey guys.

How can I increase my bitcoin money? I am a bit curious to those people who can easily make money “btc” grow fast. How do they it correctly?
Can I ask a bit of advice on how to manage it like what you do?
Of course I know many people here want to know too.

Maybe it is good to share a little of it. It would be great if we grow together.

1.investing
2.tradings
3.gambling
4. Service(no need investing but needed skills to earn)
5. Mining hardwares

Those mentioned above are the choices for you to earn btc although some of them are so risky but yet its totally the best way to earn for now, and fornthe choices i gave i like the services since i can earn some huge btc from service type of works and i also earn some profits from ICO, but i am to choosy and selects only those potential and putting on them some money when bunoses are still yet existed.
Out of these, avoid gambling. Its not advisable to indulge in this to increase bitcoins. You could even loose your holdings. You could try mining. But powerful ASICs are required nowadays to  mine bitcoins. Also check your country's electricity charges.Trading is the best and legit source of earning bitcoins.Even though its risky,if you start trading with prior experience, you could earn more bitcoins.
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin sucks ass but price still rises- how come on: May 21, 2017, 10:30:30 AM
Definitely, bitcoin price is increasing beyond the predicted price at rocket speed. We could guess that japan accepting bitcoin payment is a main reason for price increase. But still,no one expected this huge price rise.On the other side, more transactions are stuck and it would increase more in future. At that time,we could not even make our transaction confirmed  with the high fee we pay today. We may have to pay even more transaction fee.
370  Economy / Speculation / Re: What is the Reason for increase of the Bitcoin? on: May 21, 2017, 10:22:54 AM
What is the Reason for increase of the Bitcoin?
Steady increase in demand and limited fixed supply of 21 million coins.
Japan accepting bitcoin as legal payment.
People all over the world getting aware of bitcoin's potential.
New companies starting to accept bitcoin as payment.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Unlike alts Bitcoin will not crash on: May 21, 2017, 10:08:12 AM
It always surprises me how people have ridiculous thoughts and desires. Some here want for Bitcoin price to crash under 1000$ so they can buy it but and immediately after that they want the price to rise over 2500$ so that they could become rich over night. Bitcoin market is not functioning like this and not listening to someone's desires. Get serious.
Yes,if any one wants bitcoin price to crash under $1000,i think it would only remain as a dream and its far away from reality at this time.Bitcoin is going in bullish trend and its already predicted that it would move through out this year in the same trend.Just don't miss the train.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: Will silver ever skyrocket? on: May 21, 2017, 06:14:56 AM
It would be a waste of time for us to wait expecting that price of silver would sky rocket.Silver is a secondary option for people who could not be able to buy gold.We had seen the previous history of gold and silver. From that,we could say that gold would sky rocket at many times and silver will not perform like that.
373  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: May 21, 2017, 06:02:44 AM
Nope. I don't think that trading is just educated guessing because if you are a true trader, you will not just guess what will be the price or the move of a particular cryptocurrency coin because you will do a lot of research and a lot of analyzation because that is how you things can be done especially the decisions that you will make in your trading journey great.
Absolutely,a trader does marketing analysis, financial analysis and does his own research about the coin he is going to invest. He also notices the latest projects and developments which would influence the market and finally decides to take any move on trading. If its just a guess work, then it would not be called trading and it would just resemble gambling.
374  Economy / Economics / Re: If USD falls on: May 21, 2017, 05:54:56 AM
Like many powerful currencies in the past, USD may fall to ground too, my question is will that effect BTC value? Or is it independent of all other real world or non digital currencies of the world?
Definitely,it will effect the bitcoin value.More people would start shifting to bitcoins as a result of distrust on US dollars.Bitcoin adoption would get more, especially in america.Due to more transactions, transaction fee would also rise high.
375  Economy / Economics / Re: Is America a failed nation? on: May 21, 2017, 05:48:15 AM
Until now,Americe is not a failed nation. But it may get failed in the near future. On one day sure, dollar is going to collapse and economic crisis is going to occur.Already america has the largest debt. Lot of unemployment problems.Dollar is in its final stage as global reserve currency and when its replaced, collapse would start.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does this community use bitcoin? on: May 20, 2017, 06:30:06 PM
What I mean by this is do people view bitcoin as:
1. as a money making asset (which is bought with the intention of creating future benefits/profits), moving back to fiat currency to take profit.
2. as a legitimate currency which people use to store wealth regardless of its price compared to fiat currencies?

I bring up the issue because of so much discussion on the forum around how much people make per week with bitcoin, and am interested to view peoples opinions of what bitcoin is and what they use it for.

Edit:
I think people are confused as to what I mean by currency. If you are treating bitcoin as a currency it is an absolute value, ie. The change in exchange rate between BTC and fiat won't affect your spending habits.
If people are saying they prefer not to spend BTC because they know the price will go up, then they are treating it as more of an asset in my opinion.
Like majority of the people,i have tried a lot to treat bitcoin as an asset since its price is continuously increasing. But i was unable to do that.Since i have lots of expenses,i have to convert my btc to fiat irrespective of bitcoin's price increase or decrease. But those who treat bitcoin as an asset are lucky enough to have a great future.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin should be decentralized even further on: May 20, 2017, 06:19:25 PM
I think that is one of the reasons why Segwot is having hardships to get implemented because of Chinese owning most of the hashrate this chinese miners is preventing bitcoin to innovate because jihan wants bitcoin all for himself.
I hope people should join up and made their own pool to fight against this.
Definitely, the miners have an upper hand today and they dont want to loose their profits by any means.thats why segwit has not been implemented so far.
Its very difficult for people to join to form pools and fight against such gigantic pools.Any way,its tim e for the miners to fill up their pockets and they are doing it vigorously.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we need to stop using bitcoin and start using... on: May 20, 2017, 06:08:28 PM
Yea, I have been saying this for a while now.... people are too fixated on the price of a whole bitcoin and when they see the price of a whole

bitcoin they back away, because they think it is too expensive. I had the same thing with a friend of mine... but I was lucky... I created a wallet

for him and send him 0.1 BTC.... he immediately got it and started to buy more.  Wink
Thats a good idea.Even i too have faced such situations when explaining bitcoin to my friends. They get scared at once when they hear me saying that one bitcoin is $1950.They feel sad that they could not buy bitcoin as its price is very high.I convince them saying that bitcoin could be divided into 8 digits and then only they get satisfied.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to deal with the situation of non-recognition? on: May 20, 2017, 06:02:52 PM
Hi,

Since my friends have an idea that I am associated with bitcoin and I transact in it, they send me the stuff from the media if they come across. In most of the media pieces, bitcoin is mentioned as 'bitcoin is an unrecognised currency' and at that point, the people misunderstand that if it's not recognised (legal) yet then it's definitely illegal. I am bit confused, how to deal with such situation?

Best
Dudeperfect
Your friends have misunderstanding about bitcoin.Any person when he first hears about such new currencies, they would definitely get doubt since we all have faced lots of scams before. So they relate it to bitcoins and think that bitcoin would also be the same.I think you too are less confident about bitcoin. You could see that japan being a technologically developed country has accepted bitcoin as a legal payment. In most european countries, you could see lots of people using bitcoins.Bitcoin would be the most used currency universally in future.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Selling Bitcoin = Opportunity loss?! on: May 19, 2017, 01:29:47 PM
Definitely, when we see the past six months history of bitcoin,we could easily predict that bitcoin seems to continue in bullish trend through out this year.Six months before, its price was around $850 and now its price is $1950.Though we couldnot predict exactly the future,we could easily say that there is a great probability of profit loss if we sell our bitcoin.
