i think you should release all the details after POW. Releasing it before will generate hype and releasing it after will make you look good
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [UTLE] Ultimate Coin on: May 02, 2015, 05:50:44 PM
Would be nice to get another pool.

I would, but the premine looks damned high to me.

Maybe some justifications could help me sort my mind about it.

Dev posted he will post address for premine once block explorer is there, all devs need to get paid so for dev transparent so lets see what happen.

The "personal fund" looks a bit steep, considering all those features can just be obtained by forking on of the latest coins.

7000 coins are for us.  we plan to create 7k worth of masternodes. 7000 coins is not alot of coins with pow coins at 400,000. also do not forget POS. this amount can be bought by us quite easily on a exchange.

3000 coins will be used for the marketplace to activate its features. some of these coins will be used to give to beta testers to

POS masternodes idea was taken of some recent successful coins but that is not our main attraction.

It is the ultimate marketplace which gives anyone a chance to become a agent/arbitrator for a dispute. in return that agent receives a percentage payment of the final total of the item sold.

in the coming days the OP will be re-designed and a much detailed plan will be added giving a clear picture of our vision of decentralized community run marketplace. you can think it of as the agent/arbitrator performing the role of ebay moneyback guarantee.

i am still waiting on cryptobe for the explorer. it will be posted on OP once i have it, mac wallets will be provided soon

That is all great and all that but when can we get more details on this, when will you upload more info.
Is it ok you release it after POW ends?. i want some miner dumps

367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CRAVE 1st POS Masternodes | Dark Assets | I2P | Market =Embrace The Dark= on: May 01, 2015, 10:12:04 PM
crave dev this is your reply to your concerns

I was holding off on dropping a new Windows wallet build until I could include the escrow manager.  If you want a build sooner let me know, I can do one with the I2P stuff.  The code is already up in github.

The issue with darksend is that there is a hardcoded collateral address in there, which I find a little scary.  I want to look at it and evaluate it before making that stuff visible in the UI again.

jase there are a couple of ways to achieve connection encryption like that.  We use something like that under the hood for the escrow orchestration and market infrastructure.

Glad other devs are finally addressing this, havent really ever seen it be discussed. There is some very sketchy stuff going on in the depths of the darksend code, I suggest all you investors dive deeper and take a look

I'm assuming we're referring to addresses:

Xq19GqFvajRrEdDHYRKGYjTsQfpV5jyipF
y1EZuxhhNMAUofTBEeLqGE1bJrpC2TWRNp

With the first not having activity since July 31, 2014 and the latter with no activity. I could be wrong, but these could be part of the legacy DS before all collateral and fees went to the network.

If you're referring to something else, I'd love to know where.

It used to be used for DS collateral transactions, but I thought it was a better idea to pay collateral to the miners in the form of a transaction fee. I didn't remove the actual key though, because it's used to check masternode inputs to make sure they're valid.

Here's the only two places it's referenced in the code currently:
https://github.com/dashpay/dash/blob/master/src/masternode.cpp#L265
https://github.com/dashpay/dash/blob/master/src/masternodeman.cpp#L674

Once those two references are fixed, it can be completely removed.
Once again, a perfectly valid explanation by a respected dev of an overblown issue courtesy of the sideshow clowns...

hearing talk on ccex that 1.6million hasn't been burnt. why? what is the use of holding them now

talk is correct but no idea why. time will tell if its legit. i wouldn't sweat it. the wall will not be big enough to swallow all the coins. people will just dump for lower if its true. no risk no reward if dev runs away all good we knew the risk if not all good

Burn is on Saturday as well as Glidecoin distribution.  It's on the GlideSEC thread.

a little bit more confusion. on which coin is this buy wall to be placed (if it happens). the new glide coin or glidesec. i think its glidecoin the new one.

also assuming swap is 5 glidesec for 1 new glide coin and currently dev says 3.6million that would mean 720k in circulation. are the remaining 4.28million to be mined.

may i know why you will not burn the 1,600,000 coins now rather than when you claim to distribute coins. i do not understand the reasoning. surely to build some confidence you'd burn them before distribution. it does not make sense for you to hold them. only reason so it could be dumped as people buy. given there are not enough buy orders. there is no proof this is legit nor clear proof it is a scam. as far as identity it don't mean anything look at pfc, pyc.

hope it works out for those taking the risk but not for me. high risk high reward but please don't moan later winner or losers.

Good new scarce coin, get in while still early. A coin like this could easily go .004 - .008

11btc buy orders vs 1.2btc sell orders, supply will dry up quickly at this rate, price will reach the moon quickly

you mean 11btc sell orders and 1.2btc buy orders thats what c-cex showing

was buying this coin at 3-5sats took two weeks for me to collect 2million coins

wanted atleast 40million. this was a hidden gem. when pool got added it exploded

I did not Notice the coin until a miner requested a pool for it...  Smiley

saw the coin was like WTF no exchange wants it no pool wants to add it. hated you added you put it on steroids. 2nd week someone noticed started buying orders all the way to 30sats. easy profit but would have been great to hold 40million. keep up the good work. you must be seriously committed other devs would have given up with the lack of interest.

I've been making nice money on GLIDE, keep the FUD going Cheesy

no one said you can't make money on scam coins. don't know if this one is or not but statements like that only create hype. there was a coin was it bitcoin shop coin that claimed to have $1million investment. when it came to delivering nothing happened. only risk what you can afford to lose. if you lose don't curse the dev it was your decision to buy so your fault.

my opinion looks fishy but anything possible in crypto

Never release fund on LBC or any escrow. Then what is the benefit of escrow if you do release before getting fund.

my thoughts are the same. if someone trusted could leave him feedback to warn others not to trade with him without escrow that will help. i'l provide the chat log on localbitcoins of him requesting to release funds without the code if necessary to the trusted member.

380  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: btc to ukash on: April 18, 2015, 03:10:43 PM
now i am not sure if he was trying to scam but i'l let users decide.

trading btc for $20 ukash

we decided to use localbitcoin as escrow.

i opened trade. local bitcoin is now holding my btc. i ask him to send code then once funds are approved il release payment.

he says i should release payment first then ukash code is given. my history on LBC and my account is way better than his.

i think this was a scam attempt but not 100% sure as ive never traded ukash online for btc through localbitcoin.

my reason for posting this  is so one of the experienced traders decide whether it was or not. if it was please leave a note to warn others

thanks

offer cancelled il go to shop and get it

the user i was trading with was vishwaratna
