Not too sure this one is going to live up to its name.

It's been about an hour since launch, is POW done yet?

Dumb. You can't give the first guy to set up a miner 10% of all coins. This one died before it even left the womb.
he was fast lol, why this community always like this ? ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Exactly why you can't have a 12 hour POW...this coin is an instamine joke.

That was not dev, but me, I was fast this time...

Adwords does not allow ad click manipulation. Account will get terminated.

Mining is still profitable, rent a rig guys and get it rolling.
I mined some coins a little bit ago but it cost me 1,000 satoshis per coin to mine, so may be better off buying at this point.

I think escrowed premines don't work because the people escrowing can take it. They can also stop the dev from using it. He who hold the premine controls the fate of the coin.
Foundation wallets limit the mount of coin the dev receives over time forcing them to keep supporting the coin. As you can see not many devs have use it. A few that did had very good results. But they were devs who wanted to support their coin not run away.
Donations is another thing that can work. Cloak had like 36000 coin in donations I heard. That's like 93 btc at the current price.
Soooo the dev runs off and dumps the premine you've got 100% chance of a loss Use a reputable escrow that is in the hands of the community, that sounds a bit less than 100%. Better yet since you feel its a bad idea, guess what you don't have to put anything into the coins that use the escrow To further this point, there have now been countless successful escrows for IPO's. How many times has a trusted escrow run off the with IPO funds? I can't remember a case where this has ever happened. How many times has a dev run off with a premine? Definitely not the same scenario.

What Did i tell you? Nobody listened to me.. I even posted it on the second or third Page..
Typical carsen scam coin.
I was just wondering why dedi was also in.. Well.. Never mind
Yup, saw you call it.

I doubt its the fault of the pool... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) i am mining in suprnova. don't mine @suprnova your an idiot. ocminer is a kiler dude, one of the few honest people in crypto. i think you should just ragequit and go home supernova is great!!! WTF? Why would you say something like that? Agreed, supernova is one of the best pools. Also net hash is 32 gh/s atm meaning miners are jumping on board. Now it's not really worth to sell around 600 sat's anymore. suprnova is one of the better pools I have ever mined in. dat difficulty over 700 doe.... 900 and almost 40 gh/s Guess the secret it out. Boom is going to be a beast and no one should be selling anywhere near 1000 or below right now.

Can't believe the noobs dumping this coin so cheap. Don't you realize in a couple of days you can't get it anymore?? Boom will hit Bittrex, price will skyrocket, and these noobs will be crying that they sold for peanut profits.

When Onyxcoin was launched many people were concerned about the premine. I suggested to the dev that he use escrow for the premine. He got very defensive and stated that the premine is the devs payment for creating the coin. Fast forward to today...the dev dumped the premine.
Bottom line, if a dev won't accept an escrowed premine, they are a scammer.
Wake up people!
|
|
|
Ahhhh, so THAT's why he didn't want an escrowed premine.
|
|
|
Yup, called it out from the start and Onyxdev was very defensive about the premine. He said it was his payment for making the coin.

This will only appeal to a very limited niche market.
Yes - but quite possibly a very well funded and highly liquid one... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif) That likes to pay with CASH ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

I see good and bad points from this.
The good mainly being that it might help to get rid of a lot of the "fly by night" pools that don't really offer much and/or are scams. Plus it stops some pools from over spamming threads.
The bad..
It's really going to centralize the altcoin sector much more than it already is. Smaller pools, like ourselves, struggle to get many workers as it is, and I'm guessing it's going to be much, much less from this point forwards. We HAVE to keep reminding users in threads that our pool is there, and the features we offer, or we simply don't get noticed. For example, our pool charges 0.75% for fees, which is one of the lowest around.. but in most OPs you won't see that detail - only in our ad where we list our main advantages.
What I can see happening is basically the hashrate on the few big pools, Dedicated, Suprnova, Suchpool etc, is going to increase and all the other pools are going to get fewer and fewer workers.
Why not make it so each pool can post once in each thread with their ad.. any more than once and it's spam. I don't see the problem with allowing one "ad" each. It's still not ideal for smaller pools like us but it's a bit of a compromise at least.
+1 This would be a whole lot better. +2. This should be the compromise and the solution.

I can confirm that I received my coins fine, I invested long before the close time instead of getting in late and then blaming everyone else like some did.
I purchased my coins within the last 5 minutes and I received my coins no problem. I think it's just about following the procedures that were clearly laid out.
