It took several years before bitcoin reached the need for 7tps, see https://blockchain.info/charts/n-transactions?timespan=all In fact, during the first 3 years it never needed more than 0.1tps (0.1tps = 8640 transactions per day). It is the same with HEAT, there is not a need for 7tps right now, but it can already do 7tps. HEAT uses memory-mapped files and has reached 1000tps and more in tests in local networks. What slows it down in a network spanning large geographical regions (satellite communication) is the peer-to-peer communication, but that bottleneck can be improved as the need for higher tps arises (always on connections, better protocol, ...). I am confident that the devs will deliver according to the original whitepaper, which is here: http://heatledger.com/HEATWhitepaper.pdf A public roadmap will be published soon (within a week according to information from Slack channel) and that should hopefully clarify the priorities in the coming months. The tech presented in the whitepaper and ANN is promising.. it's superior to NEM in some ways, however it's very unpolished and needs quite a bit of work. Also, all the fake assets created on the exchange and recent posts about it taking 24 or more hours to withdraw don't inspire confidence. I'll keep my eye on this one but don't want to buy it here at a $10M market cap currently. I would suggest eliminating the ability to create these fake assets backed by nothing (and delete the ones that are there before it gets out of hand) using this exchange and simply have the development team add legitimate crypto currencies at some point down the road after they have done the work need to polish everything and get it running smoothly. I would also suggest getting it listed on Yobit.
This would make a great currency... the decentralized exchange aspect makes it more complex than it needed to be had the focus been on developing a highly scalable currency platform to compete with the likes of NEM, but if the exchange actually ends up working on a larger scale down the road it could be a game changer. I'll admit I haven't fully wrapped my head around how these "assets" on the exchange work yet. I need to do more researching.
Its really nice how it developed. You can be sure the team is working on getting the things done properly. Buying cheap in, keeping the coins forging is how i did here. it paid off. prices always rise and fall in cycles, the price level now is hard proofed bottom. when the platform is polished we will reach other price of the token. |

People talking about hidden presale, stop being mindless morons. It was written clearly on the website there was a presale for days before the start of the ICO and there were even steps and advice for how to get involved. People were also emailed about it that were interested.
You have an ICO yesterday that sold out in 35 seconds and only a tiny selection could get in on it (BAT), whilst people are here bitching about something that people can still enter.

So basically when the top managers of polo decide to add coins to poloniex, they tell their friends to get on bittrex and other exchanges, buy these coins for cheap money and wait for the announcement of listing at poloniex. #insidertrading still possible in the crypto world
therefor they are not listing new coins anymore. just successful mature projects get a chance. the last one were gnosis, over 2 years in production, nexium and stratis over 1 year of development and very unique and very strong crypto background. |

Yup. Looks well.. Time to accumulate more before June. Totally agree! I think NXC price will rise in the near future before the Beyond the Void game release. Now is the good time to buy and hold tokens. I'm not sure any of this is real.  You are, like no other, a witness that "round" price has increased at 6 times during past week. Not much left  I always think ROUND just a copy of 1st, but its recently pumping surprised me, I have to follow it to find why.
there are so many coins that are copy of each other with little diff. one better than the other. in round its like only 100 btc were at the start available. price jumped immediately 50 times up to $5Mill. then they started trading. I guess just some few people control about 90% of the coins. its easy set up any price they want. |
