361  Economy / Speculation / Re: With the recent price jump, is now a bad time to buy? on: December 09, 2015, 09:51:49 AM
I'm wanting to invest around $5k USD in bitcoin, primarily just to get cash out of my bank. I've had a Coinbase account for about a year but only used it for a few small transactions, so I'm not very knowledgeable about it.

With the recent surge in price, do you think now would be a good or bad time to buy? I realize there's no way to know for sure what will happen, but am curious if you think the price is going to drop back down soon or if I should buy in now before it rises more.

Well you have to look at it this way.... how much cheaper will you get in? if you pause to wait for cheaper you could end up seeing a $600 price pretty soon. Its hard to miss out on bottom but we've all been there.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: POLL Is Craig Wright Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 09, 2015, 09:48:01 AM

I voted probably not, it doesnt really matter that much though.  It is a little interesting in that youtube video the way he acts when asked about his background in bitcoin.  He could also be a fraud, all he has to do is sign a address.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Europa League/Champions League Lounge on: December 09, 2015, 09:45:49 AM
Barcelona have already qualified (and win the group). They have no incentive to try and win

Bayer Leverkeusen has great value for being at home. That is the main match I will play.

although barcelona has already qualified, but barcelona will play and want to win this match to continue to make a good record in the Champions League

Next up they will be trying to get messi to break ronaldos all time CL scoring record, messi has a couple years on ronaldo though so it will likely happen.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will BTC reach $500 during december? on: December 07, 2015, 02:25:44 PM

You guys see the difficulty and hash rate trend atm, i think we are going to see stable above $500 very soon.

The hashrate nearly doubled this year. It's just a matter of time before we see $500 again the comming months. China is leading in the mining industry, however, they are significantly behind with the amount of nodes, and that while Bitcoin is quite popular in China.

China is leading in many areas but maybe their total dominance is a temporary thing.  Still they are only going to want the price up like the rest of us.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 07, 2015, 11:39:09 AM
Everton - Crystal Palace - 1 or Over 1.5 Goals
Everton has the advantage at home. If I'd play money line I choose Everton, but I'll play for over 1.5 goals because we'll see at least 2 goals in this game.

Im backing an everton win, they are a top 6-7 side and at home + in good form.  Palace might score but i'd say 2-1 3-1 everton.

Big shock newcastle managed to beat liverpool bet that cost people.  How did they even manage that result? could say it was just luck, first goal being deflected and 2nd goal on the counter when liverpool were attacking.

Do you think coming up with new gambling site is risky?

If one have funds is it enough or any other things need to consider before starting new gambling site?

Of course its risky, everything in life has risks you cant avoid it. If you mean coming up with a totally new concept thats even higher risk aswell.

I would ask yourself what is the competative edge you are going to offer the market, why should they use you vs others.
371  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Any news on whether the Queen or Vatican accept Bitcoin / Crypto on: December 05, 2015, 04:28:17 PM

Pope and queen should have a battle off to see which position is the most pointless concept ever. Should be a close one.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 05, 2015, 10:39:03 AM
Arsenal - West Ham 0-2
Liverpool - West Ham 0-3
M. city - West Ham 1-2
West Ham - Chelsea 2-1

Next Match : Man. united - West Ham

what your prediction about this match? Cheesy

Still going with united for this one, the game will probably suck and united win 1-0 with west ham being the better team.

375  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What is the next MtGox? on: December 03, 2015, 12:30:48 PM
I'm wondering what the community thinks!

Is there a new Gox bound to happen? What is something you have solid suspicions of?

What I feel is that Bitcoin has become safer and less susceptible over time.

The next gox wont happen on that scale ever again, gox had like 90% of the market.  Small scale versions seem to have happened, just watch out for who owns the exchange and how it runs.

I love this game , but i can hardly find a player to play with , i had previously played this game since the day it was launched and i loved the music.
I will place the game under arcade , looking forward for more games like this to remember my childhood.

Peak times will always be best for any traffic for gaming, 7:30 - 8:30 GMT i've found no matter what.  Asking people in chat to play also works.

Liverpool very remarkable when with Klopp, I was surprised when they fell behind 1-0 and reverse the situation into 1-6 a good job Klopp Smiley

Pretty amazing turn around under klopp, all of a sudden the same players look like new signings.  Anyway i did have this pick for a liverpool win if you check this thread back Smiley.

Sturridge back on the squad already that is why they are better now. This lad is always one of the best striker in premier league but he was forgotten because of too many injuries

Yeah i really rate him highly when he is fit, looks like he might be getting some competition from Origi now also, they have great striker options.

Emre can also looked like a new signing playing zidane like passes.

379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: block halving date on: December 03, 2015, 12:02:30 PM
bears in mind that this is an estimation, it will kick-in early than the countdown, not too much early though

hi hamp!!!
if so, you think who price will rise after this date?
and if a lot off miners switch off his networks because they can't earn enough???
what will happen?

i think it will rise early, before the halving will be in play

don't worry about miners, they can take profit, even if the halving was going to enter tomorrow and the price was the same as it is right now

Steady rise from here and it some point we'll go into another insane bubble.  What i think might happen is we just go up over next few months and sit at around $800.
