361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much do you trust Crypto currency based payments???? on: September 26, 2020, 09:32:57 AM
It would be unwise to trust an unknown coin as a means of payment or settlement of debt. Most platforms that accept cryptocurrency payments have a number of coin that they accept. Bitcoin, ethereum and Bitcoin cash, tend to be a more popular option and that's simple because of the trust they have for these projects.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Enough of bounty scam, you can help to stop it too. on: September 26, 2020, 01:15:19 AM
The signs to detect scam bounties can't be exhausted but with this few, I have believe any bounty hunters could be able to limit the scam bounties we support. We could have lesser bounty on the forum and get better reward, instead of harbouring a truck load of bounties with nothing to show for it. Let's make our bounty more enjoyable and lucrative. Bounty managers has to be extra careful in choosing projects also to limit hunters working in vain.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest AIRDROP in the history of cryptocurrency on: September 26, 2020, 12:58:22 AM
Uniswap indeed invested so much in the airdrop, almost half a billion dollar was distributed to the community. I sincerely wished I used Uniswap and qualified for the airdrop. I only do hope that those who received this airdrop utilized the funds very well in taking care of their issues. This corona period is quite devastating to some persons and getting that kind of funds on a platter is miraculous.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin is for day trading on: September 26, 2020, 12:09:53 AM
I'm actually not a day trader but I feel altcoin would be a better option for day trading owing to the fact that the projects are not worth long term hold and could be very lucrative when flipped through and fro to benefit out of the volatility nature of the market. Day trading requires a great deal of effort and Could be very lucrative when done rightly.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bloody market on: September 25, 2020, 11:51:49 PM
I really don't think Uniswap airdrop had a lot to do with the dump across several altcoin. Yes, some persons may have dumped the uni tokens and cashed out of the market, but that's a little as compared to the market capitalisation. I personally believe that the dump on Bitcoin must have contributed to the drop in value of several altcoin and this has made the drop in value look a bit universal.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why don't you stop rushing to promote bounty from a scammed bounty manager on: September 25, 2020, 06:21:58 PM
The wholesome truth is that most bounty manager end up getting scammed just like the bounty hunters and they are as vulnerable as everyone else. The fact that one is a senior member and bounty manager does not make him immune to deceptions. It feels really bad for the bounty managers because it seems like they laid so many persons to be slaughtered.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Cash what are your thoughts? on: September 25, 2020, 02:25:39 AM
Bitcoin cash hasn't been making much wave since after it was forked out of Bitcoin. The team is rather docile from my perspective and some persons believe that Bitcoin cash is a glorified shit coin. I personally see the project to be be Striving on her own capacity, though much have not been accomplished lately.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: September 25, 2020, 02:14:02 AM
From every indication, bounty hunters would prefer to be paid with stable coin. Some hunters may even be willing to collect half the amount in stable coin and carry out same task, but the issue is that most new projects would prefer to pay in their novel tokens Inorder to improve liquidity and circulation of the tokens. Getting a project to pay in stable coin or btc and other popular coin is quite difficult as compared to those paying on their own coin.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it the best time to buy Kick? on: September 10, 2020, 07:26:36 PM
I thought that this died already. Is their platform still working? And how was this ever so highly valued? I mean inflation rate was crazy and total supply is 1,247,037,842,332 KICK.

Gush the supply is crazy, I can't even pronounce that figure, it must be in the trillions. I doubt if the tokens could be used for something else excluding the obvious which as trading, The value would always be in her Satoshi, considering the total supply. Its almost similar to dogecoin in supply, and as we know dogecoin has always ruminate around few Satoshi.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The return of ICOs on: August 01, 2020, 03:04:29 PM
The point is that some projects still carry out successful ICO's. It's just that they're few and many people have lost trust in ICO's owing to the issues we had with Scammers floating several projects and cashing out, leaving investors stranded. The rate of successful projects is dwindling, due to the nature of the industry and its rather unwise for one to join in new projects when there are several good existing ones in the space.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: PlusToken Ponzi Goes To Jail on: July 30, 2020, 05:15:51 PM
I've noticed an increase in ponzi, lately. It's as if swindlers are now multiplying in third world countries and deceiving the masses promising excess returns and since they're new to cryptocurrency they get carried away thinking that its a get rich quick scheme and they've been shown the light not knowing that their demise is near.

My displeasure also goes for the authorities who are condoning these crazy schemes in their countries. I hope they learn from China and bring these criminals to justice.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fake gold backed tokens on: July 30, 2020, 02:34:35 PM
As far as I know, most of the project claiming to have their tokens backed by gold are lies. I once invested in a project that promised heaven and earth, saying the tokens are backed by gold and left my hopes high. All I can say now is that it ended in tears. I've learnt my lessons and moved on, but would never invest in any gold backed token, whether its legit or not.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: is ChainX a scam?? on: July 29, 2020, 10:02:41 AM
Chain is one of the cryptocurrency exchange that I repel. The exchange is full of trading bots and fake volumes. Several IEO conducted on the exchange wasn't successful, I wasn't surprised when I saw the title of the thread, I only wanted to know if they've exited as expected.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in this new IEO on: July 16, 2020, 02:33:54 PM
Hello, I am new to blockchain and I stumbled on how successful Binance IEO is and the recent IEO conducted there, I witnessed how the coin price spiked after IEO. So i discovered that Latoken is about conducting an IEO. Is it a wise decision to invest?

The days of successful IEO are on the verge of extinction, only few exchange can guarantee great returns on ieo and binance happens to be one of them. Most IEO on cryptocurrency exchange like latoken and other middle to small exchange are far from being profitable.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BCNEX - "SCAM" Withdrawals are no longer available. on: July 15, 2020, 03:55:08 AM
Bcnex exchange has finally packed up, it's rather unfortunate that the exchange didn't last up to 6 months before cashing out. It feels really bad because I was deceived to believing that the exchange was on the way to becoming a stiff competitor to binance, since they raised over 100 million in their ICO.

I lost some funds to the exchange, but I've learnt that its not all that glitter is gold.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will it take for crypto payment to go mainstream? on: July 10, 2020, 03:49:07 AM
From careful observation, it's becoming clear that it may be hard for crypto to go mainstream without the involvement of the payment sector. Whenever we talk about cryptocurrency payment, we quickly want to adopt Bitcoin. I think we are all getting it wrong here considering Bitcoin's high transaction fee and relatively longer confirmation time compared to other crypto stablecoins or other faster crypto assets.

My personal take, however, is that, for crypto to go mainstream and the impact felt, the focus needs to pivot a bit away from Bitcoin. Yes, it is the first crypto, but at its present state, it definitely cannot fit into every area. This is my opinion, if you have something contrary, I will definitely love to hear them.

One of the most important  characteristics of a currency is acceptability. It would be very difficult to take away bitcoin from the payment plan on cryptocurrency because  its widely acceptable, Infact bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency in the world presently.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto success takes time on: July 10, 2020, 01:49:21 AM
People don't want to give projects some time to grow, they forget that coins like dash, litecoin, Xmr, Bitcoin etc have a rough start, I'm just saying crypto investment takes years, just because a project drop in value doesn't mean they won't grow better in future.

Projects don't just turn huge in a year, there will be lots of volatility and price loss, for long term hold be prepared, if you can't then go for top coins

I'm in agreement with your opinion, the major issue is that several cryptocurrencies and projects have disappointed investors in the past and this creates a feeling of distrust in the mind of many investors, whenever there's any price loss or volatility, its seen as a ploy of developers to dump the project.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No ICO, Mining, Exchange, etc. In John McAfee's Freedom Coin, What Use Is It on: July 08, 2020, 11:57:59 PM
John McAfee is planing to launch his own freedom coin according to this news https://www.cryptoinformers.info/news/154-john-mcafee-plan-to-launch-his-freedom-cryptocurrency but there will be no ICO, no Exchange and no mining, please I want to ask, what use is it?

John McAfee, must be a joker or the information we have wasn't correctly presented. I don't see how any coin would be useful without an exchange. Come to think of it, how does he intend to circulate and trade the coin without an exchange. Maybe he would create a new platform and call it something else, to trade the coin.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO NOT TRUST TO TETHER on: July 08, 2020, 04:23:54 AM
Tether getting bigger every day but it doesnt mean you can trust them.
Im not gonna say tether developers are scammer but tether could be fall very hard by Central bank mafia, Money Landing is a good Excuse for Central Bank to freeze tether money account.

I'm actually not very certain of how things work in this sphere. I believe Tether is a cryptocurrency, just like bitcoin and every other cryptocurrencies. But the distinct fact about tether is that its backed with USD. Several persons believe that they don't have the amount of USD they need to back up the coin, but I once read that an audit was carried out and the report shows that tether is properly backed by USD.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: July 07, 2020, 01:23:14 PM
If I'm to choose between a long term project and a short term, I'll go for the short term. This is because the present state of bounties barely gives substantial returns and long term projects are borne out of greed on the part of the project to raise more funds and its possible that even after the long duration, we won't still make anything out of the bounty.
