361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Share Your Bitcoin Hack Stories: Help Us Educate and Protect! on: September 05, 2023, 10:19:10 PM
Well I would classify myself as an amateur in the crypto space because my stay hasn't been all that long but I presume some old early folks are the ones to have experienced such a thing as bitcoin hack because with the mighty rate of awareness ongoing on how to perfectly safeguard your coins, I guess it would be rare to actually see something fall into such situation especially when there is so much mistake of others to learn from.
I don’t understand why you guys are calling it a bitcoin hack. Let’s get that clear, there has never been a bitcoin hack in history, crypto exchanges and bitcoin wallets are the ones that are 100% not secure from hacks. The bitcoin network in itself is secure and cannot be manipulated. Your wallet security will determine the safety of your coins.

After the incident, he immediately changed the laptop to an old old laptop, with the hope that this device is so old and has not been used since the Internet was clean and safe. Smiley In this way, he wanted to avoid modern viruses, which may not be on such an old device. I don't know if it helped him in the end.

That’s a bit paranoid. How many people would want to result to such drastic measures to secure their bitcoins. For those who may not find using an old computer attractive, another option would be to use Electrum wallet on an air gapped computer.

I was wondering how all these players that sign lately in Saudi professional league especially those coming from Premier League where they are the most supportive league for the LGBTQ+ community, these players and let’s take for example Henderson Jordan who was a big supporter of that community when he was playing for Liverpool before signing to Al-Ettifaq the Saudi Arabia team this country that consider LGBTQ+ illegal and against them totally, which means that players are not allowed to show any support or signs regarding it or even to talk about it.
So how these players agree for such different cultures and ideas or it’s all about money? Wherever they get good money they support their case?
I don’t really understand how rules of supporting such communities work in Saudi Arabia but I’m sure it’s paid in the other leagues where they support and wear those signs and flags.
It’s interesting that these players who were vocal about their opinions on the LGBTQ community while they were playing in Europe have turned silent all of a sudden. They knew the situation before moving to Saudi Arabia, I guess money changes one’s belief. The Arabs are very cultured people and do not want anything or anyone to disrupt their way of life. In my opinion, politics and social issues shouldn’t be mixed with football or any other sport, it just takes away the joy of the game.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 05, 2023, 08:00:10 PM

It suprises how people risk betting in such kind of match, because it's one that involves two big teams and is expected to be very tough, in matches like this I know right that there would be too many goals because if you check their previous meetings they always have 3 to goals in the matches so to be on a safer side I  expect people to bet over 1.5 goals, which has always worked I'm their past 3 meetings even in the preseason.
In my opinion, to be honest I think the Var robbed Manchester united of the game and that call wrong because it was clearly not an offside and if the goal was given the game would had been in favour of united cause the would had blocked their defence line instead of coming out to score an equalizer anyways the decision is being made an there's nothing anyone can do about it, Manchester United are left with no choice but to accept defeat and work on performing better on their next match which I feel would be very tough cause they're facing Brighton.
Talking about VAR’s interventions in the game VAR did not intervene on Manchester United’s chance of getting a goal it also ruled out a possible penalty chance for Arsenal which no one is even talking about because Arsenal won the game at last. I have seen the photos from VAR’s assessment and it was shown to be an offside, I don’t know what other explanations Manchester United supporters want from the officials.

Chelsea has a good defense, good midfield and attacking players but are lacking creativity that is why I don’t approve of their big spendings because they are not technically strengthening their weak positions but just signings players and hoping that would solve their problems. They have spend this much in two windows and still cannot comfortably win games or even compete at a convincing level. Pochettino has a lot to do, he’s been given the players he want, it is now his turn to win trophies.

The other player I noticed will grow to be a good player is Rasmus Højlund for Manchester United. I like the way he played in the few minutes of his debut. He is powerful, very fast and looks eager to want to start scoring goals already for Manchester United. Those are good traits for a striker to have like Manchester City's striker.

Rasmus Højlund is a young player who has good potential. it all depends on Ten Hag in cultivating Rasmus Højlund's potential. although his debut did not end well because United lost. but he showed his quality. maybe in the next match, he will play in United's main squad.
Ten Hag must see the position and role that Rasmus Højlund is indeed suitable for. Ten Hag forced Rashford several times to become United's attacking leader. but it didn't work out too much as Rashford also seems more often and likes to play out wide with the pace he has. maybe Ten Hag should think about the right position to make room for Rashford and Rasmus Højlund. when the two match, it might be a weapon for Ten Hag to make United stronger.
Let’s just hope Rasmus Højlund’s arrival turns out well for Manchester United this season because his arrival at the club comes with lots of expectations not just from Manchester United supporters but also from rivalry club fans. Coming on against Arsenal, I know every Manchester United fan would be expecting a miraculous announcement of his presence with a goal but not even Rasmus could save the day for what was expected to be an opportunity for Rasmus to announce his presence.

If Manchester City was a team in the la liga, they would dominate the league and probably go unbeaten every season. City have been so consistent in the English premier league where even the least team in the league can put up a surprising show on a good day against even the best team in the league. I remember the season Liverpool were going unbeaten until watford defeated them by a 3 to nil scoreline. I expect even Manchester City will face such game this season that will stop their winning streak and it will be surprising that it could be Luton who will be the hero of the day.

What about the MLS is there any rumors from the league wanting to sign Sergio Ramos, his asking fee is too high for any club in Europe to sign him and he can't perform anymore at the level he used to perform when he was younger, he should lower his demands or leave Europe.

Saudi Arabian League will be opened to accepting him, clubs there should summit a proposal to him and he can't say no. He should be moving to the league outside if Europe and start preparing for his retirement so that younger generation if football will have space to play.

Sergio Ramos had a wonderful time playing in Europe, he has motivated many young players into becoming defender as he's one of the most popular  defender in the world. He has many champion league and has won many other trophies, he has done well in Europe.
Sergio Ramos is a free agent therefore if any club will be interested in signing him it will have to be his wages that will be the dealbreaker. Sergio Ramos has turned down deals from abroad even a possible move go Saudi Arabia thi summer and has rather accepted a move to Sevilla his boyhood club he left for two decades he is finally back as he prefers to stay closer to home.

Kyle Walker has officially signed a contract extension with Manchester City until 2026. It was rumored to have joined Bayern Munich but that didn't continue and Kyle Walker changed his mind by staying at Manchester City. Even though there is an opportunity to try a new challenge outside England, Kyle Walker has made the right decision and at least he can still contribute to Manchester City. Currently Kyle Walker is 33 years old and with the duration of the contract he will stay at Manchester City until he is 35 and even if after that he wants to retire or leave, he will fully become a living legend for Manchester City.

Manchester City supporters will be glad to hear that one of their key players have secured a 2 year extension deal that will see him continue at the club until 2026. I think Gundogan, Riyad Mahrez, Cancelo and Palmer’s exit this summer was already too much loss of talent for the club in one summer and therefore they stopped the sale of Walker as well Bernardo Silva to prevent a massive drop in the team’s performance this season.

After watching yesterday’s game, I think teams should be wary of Arsenal in stoppage and additional time because  Arsenal are utilizing the additional minutes to yield productive results. Against Manchester United and Manchester City, Arsenal have gotten late comeback goals and win games this season. Arsenal really showed the red devils who’s boss at the Emirates, the fans will ride on this victory for the rest of the month.

Liverpool are far better than Aston Villa. Aston Villa made some good signings this summer and I expect to see improvements from Villa this season but it seems the performance of the team is gradually deteriorating. Towards the end of 2022/2023 season Aston Villa were far better than they are performing now, this level of performance cannot be acceptable if they want to play European competition next season.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: September 04, 2023, 06:11:56 PM
I have a feeling that Wolves might fight to avoid relegation spots this season. I say this because even if the team is producing a good football is simply not enough to win games as Wolves have no real defenders right now Sad.

Liverpool is a surprise for me as I didn't expect them to perform this good but Nunez is doing awesome job so far that puts Liverpool on a great start of the season.  Cool

I think there is something wrong with Wolves because they started the season well when they played against Manchester United and fought it out until 90 minutes despite conceding a goal late in the second half that was enough to help United win. There is still much time to pull themselves together especially with the international break to re-strategize and get back to their feet again. Liverpool recorded yet another crucial win against Aston Villa on Sunday to move up to 3rd position in the table over Westham and Arsenal.

It hasn't been heard for a long time, now Juan Mata will join Japanese club Vissel Kobe. He left Galatasaray and chose Vissel Kobe as his new home. The former Chelsea and Manchester United player is now about to start a new adventure in the Japanese league and is now 35 years old. I was thinking why he didn't follow the trend like most other European players who went to the Saudi league this season and maybe also because there was no offer for him from the Saudi league team who finally chose to join the Japanese league team. Previously, Andres Iniesta had defended Vissel Kobe for many years and this season it was Juan Mata's turn to make his debut with Vissel Kobe.
It’s been a long time since I heard about Juan Mata, I hear his time at Galatasaray wasn’t successful as he barely got enough playing time and opportunities to score goals. I won’t blame the club because he is aged and football this days requires so much energy and stamina probably that is the reason he has decided to move go a less difficult league were he can strive and fight for success.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 03, 2023, 10:19:49 PM
I keep telling people the same thing; Chelsea overspent. When you buy a 30 million player for 60 million dollars then you are going to look like you spent a lot but you will not get that much return. For example Caicedo was worth 55 million euros by March or so last year, and now looks 75 million euro obviously because of the transfer, and they spent over 115 million euros for him. This is a dude that was 55 million euro just a few months ago, and they overspent 60 million on him. Their whole transfer window is filled with things like this, and because of that they got players that is way less valued than what they spent. It looks like they spent a lot to be good, but the results are based on what the players are valued, not what you spend on them. So, obviously results are not coming.
I don’t even consider spending huge as the major problem, what I consider the major problem is spending huge on players not worth the amount been splashed. Imagine spending 45 to 50 million on Cole Palmer from Manchester City who is even yet to be a first team player. Chelsea’s management are clueless and believe they can solve the problems of the club by just spending money, they need to go back to the drawing board and figure out how to move the club forward.

At first I want to use this medium to introduce myself, I'm a Smartgoat and I have being studying the futuristic of Bitcoin and finally I have developed a hundred percent love to Bitcoin.

Seeing how you have been hodling bitcoin since 2017 and have achieved a lot of success, how come is it that you only recently developed love for bitcoin? Do you have multiple personality disorder or is it that your bitcointalk accounts are so many that you forget which one you post with sometimes? I don’t know what your problem is but I can see DT members have given you a neutral tag because of your ridiculous behavior. That should be enough to make you amend your ways, I hope.
374  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Accessible Programs for Aspiring Crypto Influencers. on: August 31, 2023, 09:27:34 PM
Is there a school where people learn how to be influencers? I don’t think so. I think the key to being an influencer is providing content on a particular niche, and organically build a following. Once you have a niche carved out, and you know what you are doing, you just have to keep putting our content consistently, people who are interested will find you and refer other people to your page or channel. As for promotions, you can partner with other influencers in the space to gather more followers/subscribers. Cross promotion is the best way to grow a new account. When you have become established in the space, you can then be called an “influencer”.

I'm a little skeptical about OP's testimony here, I don't believe that bitcoin is a panacea to depression or anything like that, pretty sure that there's other factors besides bitcoin that made OP get out of the dark pit that he's in, also what forum are you talking about? I don't think there's a lot of active forums that talks about bitcoin besides Bitcointalk. And 2017 is such a short time frame to achieve all of those stuff unless you've got the money already which I think doesn't corroborate with your story that you're down on your luck before being introduced to bitcoin.
It’s obvious that this story was fabricated to farm merits, there is sentimental value attached to this sort of topics and there are people who may get excited and send merits to the OP. But this OP isn’t smart enough to stick to one story. If you check his previous posts you will find his storyline to be inconsistent, today he is a newbie and the next day he’s a old time bitcoin investor. I’m glad no one has given this kind of posts any merit lately, it will discourage others from starting in-genuine content.

I’m looking back to what the price of bitcoin was in 2017, you got involved in bitcoin at a good time. I became a bitcoin investor just before Covid and I have achieved a lot already since that time. I can only imagine what could have happened if I invested in bitcoin earlier

from there I became engaged with a forum and began contributing over time, since then I become an established Bitcoin investor.
At this point, I find your story here hard to believe because I remember clearly you made a thread about how new you were to bitcoin and that you needed help.

Let me use this medium to retroduce my self again, I'm smartgoat. I have been on this forum for pass 6days now without knowing that, there is a place called beginners and help here. I'm here on this forum to learn, to know, and to succeed. I know nothing about Bitcoin, but I'm here to learn of bitcoins and to make progress on it. And for me to succeed here, it requires everybody to guild and direct me to learn and master everything about Bitcoin.

I know quite well that others who are professionals in Bitcoin acquired the knowledge of Bitcoin in the forum, so since other's have made it by learning and understand the technology of Bitcoin, I wish to have the same knowledge through your guidelines and directives. I need article's to read of Bitcoin and I'm ready to learn the things of Bitcoin.

Only if barcelona will let alonso to leave from the club. MU has not yet determined its choice. Romano has been reporting that if ten hag is still discussing with its team to pick which player that fit to the manchester united at this moment.
https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1696295291241046028
The discussion is still ongoing at this moment.  Let's wait 1 or 2 days more to see the final decision about which player that's gonna be approached by ten hag.
ten haag needs to take the final decision as soon as possible caused by we are only a few days away from the closing of summer transfer season.

Ten hag needs to approach the choosen one as soon as possible. There's also possibility for his offer to be rejected by the player.

According to Romano Fabrizio who has stated that Manchester United are not moving forward with any other conversations with clubs for a left back other than Cucurella because United are optimistic that the deal can be completed befire deadline day. With Luke shaw and Malacia out injured Manchester United are in a tight corner and need a replacement ASAP or will face troubles selecting options kn that position.

It seemed to me that intermiami had a dream in reviving old barcelona again. The latest news said that if intermiami is trying to approach vidal to join on its club.

Quote
Lionel Messi may be lined up for a reunion with another former Barcelona team-mate, with Arturo Vidal open to the idea of joining Inter Miami.
https://www.goal.com/en/lists/lionel-messi-reunite-another-barcelona-team-mate-arturo-vidal-inter-miami-transfer/blt92d5f14ad93dc57b#cs74ab2e4f6f337bb5

Old barcelona will be revived in MLS as beckham is trying to get more and more former of barcelona players to join on its club. Pique shall become a good choice for the club or even dani alves. It's possible for the players who already announced retire from football to make their comeback again as players. Gerrard pique is still healthy and he can still play football. Intermiami can try to approach him as well. Beckham is trying to build the hype of old barcelona in MLS league.

It surprises me caused by i never though if beckham was aiming to recruit vidal to join in intermiami.

This is really ridiculous, what is Beckham trying to achieve with this? Is he urning Inter Miami to a retirement home or what? The MLS is a less difficult league because I see no other way all these old and weak legs will play together in same club and excess, it is impossible in a tough league as the English Premier league. It can only be possible in the MLS not even in Saudi Arabia.

Officially‼️ Eden Hazard is set to retire from professional football.
According to the media, the Belgian captain has plans to announce his retirement from professional football at the age of 32. Many clubs have been interested in the signing of Eden Hazard this summer at 32. But he decided to call it a day on his career. It seems that Real Madrid will be his last team in his career.
Eden Hazard has spent four seasons wearing the white shirt, and until now he has been without a team. He has had several offers to continue his career with another team, but it seems that none of them have convinced the striker. At this point in the summer, Hazard would have decided not to listen to any more proposals and hang up his boots.
Hazard spent one of the best years of his career at Chelsea, where the former Madrid winger made 352 official appearances, scoring 110 goals and providing 76 assists.
Source
There is a possibility that Eden Hazard is purposely not listening to offers in a bid to finally hang his boots from professional football it can also be that he is taking his time before picking his next destination so it doesn’t end in regret and unsuccessful as his Real Madrid spell was. Eden Hazard is a free player with the choice to pick his final destination himself without a parent club interfering in his decision making.
