This means that a single winning bet is maxed out at 20 BTC. Not the max a player can win. I am curious as to how many possible bets there are currently to win amounts that high with such bets at 9bits (900 satoshi). Also, it seems the specific gambler did his homework on which type of bet to place for the big win and then took on high risks when he started to play large amounts on another app (resulting in another nice win). Congrats to him. I think the 2.7kelly previously mentioned is quite high. And the bankroll went from 1568btc to 860btc, thats a drop of 708btc
Not a good number to quote. Some is a loss (the 181btc), but much of it is simply people taking their investment out (divesting) and investors moving their funds from investing positions to gambling positions. Will this be a hardcoded value or a function of some other value, like the bankroll? When the change is in effect, attempting to place a bet that will result in a win bigger than 20 bitcoin will simply produce an error. In 3 days time, we will be limiting the max win to 20 bitcoin.

So when investors lost some there is a change. What is the gambles are losing to much??? Are you also do something to change that? No. It's just a risk investors take and now they lost some. Something gamblers have the whole time. Investors earned enough and now they lost some and start crying. Bad, very bad decision this. Yeah i really agree on this statement, when players lose a lot they sure laugh behind us and never change anything but keep on getting more games and attract more people to play on their site. Mean while when investor losing they directly change the term and everything just because someone have big winning on jackpotracer. This doesnt make any sense though , why would they do that? No one is forcing any players to go and play their games, but gamblers want to play the games. But investors have invested money to get a profit in the long run. If they don't get profit, then they will pull out their money. So if site owners think they are losing investors then they have to do something to retain the investors otherwise if no bankroll then on one can play any games. and if there will be no players  this is not an option for you cause you maybe think that all players are stupid and addicted anyway Players are for the most part unaffected. A vast majority of bets are well under a max win of 20 bitcoin. This is a safeguard being placed for investors. The old code for the Rubies integration was 99% completed but needed to be completely scrapped due to development changes. Ouchies, that's like 10% of the bankroll in a single bet?  Hmm, a "jackpot style bet" is a very interesting case. Because it's so accessible to players (they can do it with only a few bits), it allows virtually anyone to push investors into negative bankroll growth. I'm not sure what the house edge of the game, but let's just assume it was 15% and the gambler was aiming to win 10% of the house bankrol. From investors point of view, their EV would be 4.5% of what ever the gambler is betting (0.3 * 0.15) -- however, they're risking 10% ... which puts the investment a 2.2x kelly risk each bet (and any kelly above 2 means investors should expect to lose money over the long term). (Although, I could be off base here, if the house edge was > 20%, then that's totally fine. Investors just got very unlucky). Anyway, congratulations to the winner!
