361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All DEX wallet User Please Beware on: November 30, 2021, 03:16:37 PM
Hello Everybody I joined with Cryptocurrency from last one Year, and i use Binance and Crypto Currency exchange for Trading and from my Trading profit i store some Crypto assets in my Trust wallet for Futute.
When First time i Create a Trust Wallet account thet i Write My Mnemonics Key on Notebook becouse it is Mandatory for wallet Importing. But 25 November i Reset my Device for Some Reason and i Restart my phone and Reinstall my all Account, Application etc. But when i Install Trust Wallet and Imported my Mnemonics Key then i see that My Wallet address has Changed and Fund has Zero. But i can't understand where was my Mistake. For my mistake You can Learn something new and you can Protect and Save your Fund from Losing. So i want to share a tips with you.

1. When You Create a DEX wallet than Must Copy your Mnemonics Word or Private key and Save it in any Online Store, you can take a Screenshot but Screenshot is not working in Trust Wallet so you can Capture your Mnemonics word through Other Mobile and next you can write your key In offline Notebook.
2. If You think that Need a resetting for your Device than you must import your Trust wallet in Second device. Otherwise you can lost your fund as like for me.

I lost my Fund and know this pain, so i share my Experience for Secure and Saving your Fund and i believe if you follow this Two Tips then you never lost your assets.

I didn't understand what you are saying because if you put your mnemonics wrong then it won't open any wallets at all. But you have said it opens up a wallet with zero funds. I n my opinion 3 possible reasons behind it.

1. You have imported the right wallet but your funds were stored in a different wallet. Because Trust wallet has the option to create or import multiple wallets.
2. You have imported the wrong wallet.
3. Someone transferred your funds who got access to your mnemonics. You can check that wallet's transaction history to verify that.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we in a bear trap? on: November 23, 2021, 04:42:21 PM

Seeing the funding rates above, it seems clarified that btc had a 'fakedown' and was a bear trap, but how low do you think will it go? Is the trap game over and we lost the 55k buying opportunity? Or should I wait for much lower value of btc to get an entry? I am still confused about that MtGox releasing their customers' btc tomorrow, which is making my nerves go wild when I think of what may happen.

Source

Till now I saw the fear and greed index is showing neutral. That means people's sentiment is not clear so it will be better to wait for some time. It will be better to take an entry in a little bit higher in a bull market than take enter in a bear market. Do not FOMO and act according to market sentiment. The market became more mature and people know how whales manipulate the markets.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If the internet is down in the future on: November 21, 2021, 04:35:21 PM
Oh. That would be very impossible. I can't think of any possibilities that a transaction can exist without the use of internet during this digital age. And if ever in the near future internet goes down, l don't think professionals in tech industries would took a long time to fix it. They will find a way, and there will always be a way. So you don't really have to worry about that kind of stuff now.
Internet will probably not go down for long. The people now went crazy even just a minute of not having internet so Companies and other institutions will be finding ways to fully maintain the system. Whenever the internet there will be no transactions to happen and if there’s any  abnormalities within that time will need to be track. In this era we’re internet is considered essential it keeps each economy growing that it should be a priority to not be exposed in any down time.

Actually technically it is not possible to fully shut down the internet. If someone wants to do that he needs to cut off the submarine cables that connect internet networks all over the world. I think it's technically impossible. Now SpaceX planning to provide internet data even without any cables. They already launched a program about it. So the more day will pass technology will find a way to protect itself from any disaster.
364  Other / Politics & Society / Re: The recent surge in Covid-19 is making vaccine makers to have a rethink on: August 18, 2021, 01:21:16 PM
The Government needs to put more effort to contain the virus and if premiums care is not taken on the best methods to defeat this deadly virus, we might end up experiencing the second batch of black death(deadly virus emanated from rodents) that kill more than 5 million persons hundreds years ago. Vaccine makers need to put on more efforts to achieve a sustainable result that can resist the virus.

If you put common symptoms like fever and headache aside for Covid-19 and "Black Plague" then there is only one thing they have common. They both spread through the physical contact of two individuals. The mortality rate of black plague is greater than Covid-19. If you check past research then you would see that if any diseases spread very quickly and easily between humans then that diseases have a lower mortality rate. So I do not think that we need to panic right now.

the pandemic is still going on..

Let's talk a little bit about our steps in this difficult time..
like many airdrops that take place, do we still have hope and also believe in the existence of airdrops that are now starting to be offered on platforms or social media..
and what kind of airdrop has made you successful during this pandemic?

Airdrops could be very helpful for those in need but it must be organized by trusted platform. We have seen a lot of scam airdrops and team who conduct airdrops and later on asking for money from the poor.

Don't you realize BTC is experiencing a bullrun during the pandemic?
Precisely in a pandemic like this, there are a lot of good Bounties / Airdrops, because many projects are turning digital, and using Blockchain technology.

Crypto got massive funding because invest saw crypto is the only sectors where their wealth will not be affected by Covid-19. Stock, forex and other financial sectors sees downtrend becasue of covid so those investors turns their money into crypto. Some people like me sees bright future in crypto so they came to be a part of the long run.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still thinks that crypto is manipulation free? on: June 26, 2021, 01:26:38 AM
It's not the right time to start buying crypto coins right now because the next chapter for crypto with be filled with lots of bad news just to pull crypto value down and down so that they can buy for way cheaper price, who are they anyways? We'll figure that out yourself, bear market is 💯 real and it's coming, be prepared for more bad news

How do you know that? Everyone expecting BTC to be around 22k-24k. We have seen there is very low buying pressure in the markets which indicated that the market sentiment is right. But if everyone knows what is going to happen how are whales going to make money? Just think about it. If BTC hits the 22k mark most of the USDT holders will buy BTC and hold it no matter market goes more downside. That's not what the whale wants. They want it in their way so what I think is they are accumulating BTC right now and they will push the price from here. It's not financial advice because anything could happen in crypto.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Has Ordered All Financial Institutions To Cut Crypto -Related Services on: June 26, 2021, 01:12:04 AM
China has always been a country with a hostile attitude towards cryptocurrencies, it is not uncommon for them to make decisions against the market.
But I think no matter what decision China makes, the market will continue to grow.

I dont know why all the people are shocked always about this. Every 1-2 years China always bans crypto and then after some times unbans it. This is just the power of China to manipulate the market. But like you said the market will always grow. Intresting thing is that Tesla then China then all this news were almost at the same time 1 month diffrence maybe.

So we are seeing a well-cordinated plan has been executed to buy BTC cheap? It's true that China is banning crypto since 2013 so that nothing new. It looks like big players are doing battle inside between them to gain upper hands over the market. The market is in a stalemate situation right now so let's see who wins at the end.

The People’s Bank Of China Has Ordered All Financial Institutions To Cut Cryptocurrency -Related Services.  READ FULL DETAILS HERE:  https://worldpublicityblog.com/index.php/2021/06/25/the-peoples-bank-of-china-has-ordered-all-financial-institutions-to-cut-cryptocurrency-related-services/

Its a bad decision from China govt, they didnt support their miners to keep a Hash Dominancy on Bitcoin, now U.S will take the opportunity to have the dominance. or Maybe Russia.

Govt is not doing the mining private company does. So it's not about govt and the USA is also not very friendly towards bitcoin so don't be so excited. China crypto bans lead private mining companies to shift their company to other countries that are it. I think they should do that so that we won't have any problems with china in the future.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China Has Ordered All Financial Institutions To Cut Crypto -Related Services on: June 25, 2021, 04:06:45 PM
It seems that we will keep seeing countries supporting crypto today and stop supporting crypto the next day, I can't imagine how many times china have stopped supporting crypto over and over, it looks like a planned manipulation to me

it already happened since bitcoin became popular but we can't deny that the big country was giving a very big impact to the crypto. China was a dictator country and anything that already seen as a threat for the china will be taken down by the regulators.
This is not something new in the crypto but  there were some bad cases about bitcoin that was making the market condition was become even worst than before.
The fact that so many people are shorting their bitcoin.

It impacts so much on bitcoin price because 60% of bitcoin mining happens in china because of cheap electricity. When china announces about bitcoin ban then mining company has to stop their business and sell their mined BTC. Investors also know that very well that is the reason behind this market downside. It's actually not about the size of china. It's about those mining company that is located there.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero vs Zcash- who wins? on: June 24, 2021, 03:38:22 PM
I am a firm believer/supporter in these types of anonymous currencies being available. There are a lot of upsides to having an anonymous currency and it doesn't have to do anything with illegalities.

The downside of these types of anonymous currencies is greater than the upside. It opens the path of Inglourious criminal activity like money laundering, drug deal, terrorist fundings more easily. These are some main problems in our society so we should not allow something that will make things worsen.

That being said I've come to learn that it seems like Monero and Zcash are the two most trusted/respected of the anonymous currencies.  From what I've read and been told by friends who know was they are talking about is that Monero is superior to Zcash.  I am wondering if anyone can provide some Pros and Cons between the two?

Actually, it depends on how you see it. Monero transaction is fully anonymous and there's nothing you can do about it. On the other hand in Zcash you can select a normal transaction or an anonymous one. Zcash gives a better option to choose from.

370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Cuban Calls for DeFi Regulation After Crypto Investment Goes to Zero on: June 19, 2021, 05:55:20 AM
I don't know why but I'm happy of what happened to a Mark Cuban backed token. He learned a hard lesson of the risks involved in young and speculative markets like DeFi. He won't be talking about crypto carelessly now. That was a Titanic sink Grin

Another thing that I'm happy about is the proof that rug pulls can happen in whatever blockchain the project was launched. I've seen people, who supports Polygon, bashing on Ethereum and BSC after multipple rugpulls/hacks/exploits/flash loans. They got a dose of their medicine.

I would be happier if this happens to Elon mask. I think doge will face these same consequences one day and Elon will be the one doing it.

I agreed about what Cuban said but if they regulated Defi then the name Defi will be meaningless here. What I think is investors should be careful here. How a whale-like Cuban invested in a project so carelessly. Team rugged pulled or some individuals did that means someone holds most of the token supply. That can be seen and verified through blockchain so why he didn't do that in the first place.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I lost all my crypto gains this not fair! on: June 18, 2021, 02:02:26 AM
Market manipulation is very common in crypto. You can make 1 BTC to 10 BTC in 6 months but if you are not careful enough you could lose everything in just one day. It because the crypto market won't go up straight. It moves in waves like ups and downs. What I am seeing with your portfolio is you lose the value in terms of USD, not with actual amounts. The best thing you can do now sell part of it and take re-entry in the dip. That way you can increase your portfolio without investing any new cash. This way your break-even points will be lower and you will recover your loss more quickly.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you make money with NFTs? on: June 16, 2021, 11:34:13 PM
I've seen people making millions of dollars selling NFTs on popular blockchain platforms. Things that were thought to be worthless are now worth a ton of cash. While all of this sounds great, it's not easy to create a unique NFT that would gain demand on the market. High gas fees on the ETH blockchain, makes it unprofitable to sell NFTs on it. Binance Smart Chain would be a better choice, but mainstream adoption on the platform is still low these days (when compared against Ethereum).

I'm wondering how do I make money with NFTs? Some guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance. Smiley

I still don't know how I can make money from NFT without buying them. It still seems complicated to me in some ways. What I do is I buy NFT project token to make money but the thing is every NFT project lose more than 60% of its value. My portfolio is also going down because of some NFT projects. I think the NFT market is still very new and it needs time to develop.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't blame Elon musk and China for the dip!!!!!!! on: June 16, 2021, 11:30:07 PM
If we are to be really honest with ourselves, the cause of the recent dip in the market is not because of Elon Musk tweet or because of China ban on crypto (though it added to it). It is because the market has been in an overbought position long enough. Taking Bitcoin for example, the price increased so fast (leaving a price imbalance/void) without any serious retracement or correction. So the market is just correcting itself.

Yes, it was an overbought position. But Elon musk makes things worse by promoting doge with it. Many new investors bought doge around 0.6 or above. They are almost 50% lose right now. Now those people will exit from the crypto market and will say crypto is a scam. His market manipulation is something that affects the market. He is not good for crypto.

Bear in mind always that what moves cryptocurrency is mainly news. People buy and sell on rumours. So, whenever there is news release it affects prices of tokens. Elon's tweet and the news of ban from China greatly affected the price of Bitcoin at the time. We can not say it did not. That will not be correct. Even if price is moving fine now at the current happening and Elon goes again to bash Bitcoin you can bet that the price will drop drastically in less than 24hrs. And if his tweet praises Bitcoin you can also bet that price will push up within 24hrs too. That is how cryptocurrency works. News makes it react alot.

There is a saying that buys the rumours and sell the news. News affects the crypto market heavily but in long term, only fundamentally strong projects survive.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best strategy to stay anonymous with crypto? on: June 16, 2021, 04:26:29 PM
From privacy-oriented cryptocurrencies like Monero and Grin, to mixers, there's always a way to achieve anonymization on crypto land. Some privacy techniques are complicated to understand for the non-tech savvy person, though. Despite the tools available to obfuscate sensitive transactions, there's no method that's proven 100% effective. If you're careless enough about covering your tracks, you'll eventually get caught by governments or other third-parties.

That said, I'm wondering which is the best strategy to stay anonymous with crypto? Will using a VPN + TOR + Monero do the trick? Or is it best to acquire a privacy coin like Monero completely off-chain (in person)? Your input will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance Smiley

VPN TOR will not do any good if you are using a centralized exchange that requires KYC. Decentralized exchange is far better to protect your privacy. But if you are talking about hiding your location, IP address, mac address then this thing is way more complicated for a non-technical person. Privacy coins can not fully cover your track when you are doing transactions with a centralized exchange.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tron network possible on Metamask? on: June 15, 2021, 01:36:18 PM
Can someone tell me how to run Tron network on metamask wallet or this isn't possible? Since RSK mainnet and BSC are possible on metamask why not Tron so before doing anything stupid that's why I think I should ask you guys

You can not do that but there is another extinction wallet like metamask that can be used for the Tron network. You can use the Tronlink app extinction which is available for Google Chrome, Brave, and Firefox Browser. It also supports dApps for Tron network and multi wallets functionality. Its similar to Metamask and very easy to use.

For google chrome and Brave user: Extenction link
For Firefox user: Extenction link
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Polkadot [DOT] is a bad investment because it has unlimited inflation! on: June 15, 2021, 10:19:15 AM
Polkadot seems to be not a good coin for long-term investment.
Why do you say Polkadot is not suitable for long term investment? try to give a complete review because what I see Polkadot already has progress even though it is still inferior to the others when compared.
Don't you even bother to read the title of this thread?

Unlimited inflation = no hardcap and that means the coin will be minted more and more. that will give a pressure on the market just like ethereum with its unlimited supply.
Ethereum can become the best example of how the unlimited supply will bring the price to be stuck in the same position. I guess you must try to browsing some literatures about the inflation.

Is that even matter? I don't think so by seeing doge give more than 15000%. Investors actually don't care about max supply. The Crypto market is heavily manipulated by big whales who can make a shit project with an unlimited supply. Every minute 10,000 more doge is coming to the market and it still raising up. Dot is a far better place than doge.

DOGECOIN and ETH are probably some real examples of projects with a successful market but an unlimited supply. DOT may be able to make ethereum-like developments in the future such as the launch of ethereum 2.0. I still believe DOT is not a bad asset to invest in. because the crypto market cannot be determined like the USD or EURO money market.
probably by far, BTC and BNB are the best assets with asset management that will always decrease over time.
Why does it always decrease over time on BTC and BNB ? Isn't every product whose supply is limited, the price will always increase if the demand for it increases every year? because now there are plenty of examples for everyone in the crypto space to see.

There is some project that has the ability to increased or decreased with supply and demands. Like AMPL and BASE are the two best examples I think.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Too blind to see on: June 12, 2021, 04:02:18 PM
We are slowing going into bear market and many still don't realize this because of those 10% gains which makes the market looks bullish again but looking at the big picture it's clear that bear are slowly taking over, am I wrong?

So the new bear is at the $30k level? I don't think so, I'd like to believe we are still in the bull trend and the market will eventually recover I sum it up that the months of December is the month where everything starts bull or bear market and we are still halfway this year, let's first finish the year and decide where we are at.

So you are still thinking that the market is bullish! But I don't believe the market in a bullish trend if it can not cross and stay above the 43k level. That is the psychological resistance level that must be broken to get control over the bull. I think there should be another correction to the 25k level before another bull cycle starts. Let's see how we end this year.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Elon Musk manipulating the market? on: June 11, 2021, 02:15:22 PM
He is manipulating, people will manipulate on something they can cast their influence and Elon Musk is a man with a huge influence in the investment industry who can cast influence when it comes to investment and technology, he first tried it on Dogecoin and he succeeded and now that he and we all know that he can do it, he will do it again, it's up to people to realize this scenario.

People are foolish enough to follow a single man to make their investment decisions on crypto, when the whole space has always been about being decentralized and free from the middleman. Elon Musk must have made a lot of money with his recent tactics. Bitcoin went down for a short period of time after his criticism, while Dogecoin went all the way to the moon. It's up to this date, where Bitcoin is struggling to get past the $40k range, while Dogecoin hasn't "moved an inch". Who knows if Elon Musk continues to manipulate the market in the long run for his own financial benefit?

If this keeps up, DOGE might go to $1, while Bitcoin may be headed to a price below $20k. Imagine what would be of the crypto market if Elon Musk quits. There will be a massive "bloodbath" in price that would leave current investors disappointed! The market will surely recover albeit at a slow and steady pace. What matters is not the price per coin, but rather its usefulness. As long as an specific cryptocurrency is useful, nothing else matters. Just my thoughts Grin

Pro traders are following him because they know people will react to his tweet. So they are taking advantage of that and taking a short or long position with his tweet. I think what Elon is doing is bad and won't benefit crypto anyway. He just wants to make money no matter by promoting a shit project or doing unnecessary tweets about crypto bitcoin.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do I know if an altcoin is a scam? on: June 10, 2021, 05:47:22 PM
Hello, I'm new here and I wanted to ask something I've been confused about for a few days.

I recently got into an altcoin (called startup boost token) and the devs are doxxed and presale LP locked, they claim to have live use case and all.

I want to know how I can determine / what kind of questions I should be asking to know if its a real 100x token? Any advice?

The first piece of advice is if you don't know and understand a project well enough then don't invest it. And most of the time scam project appears in the market when the market is trending for a certain project. As an example when meme coin hype occurred then we saw many similar projects like Shiba Inu and most of them are copies of Shiba Inu. Those are mostly scam projects.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 10, 2021, 05:44:39 PM
I sell half of it and take reentry several times. That's why I have increased my holding alts by not spending a single dollar. The market took correction and there could be another big one before it going to renounce again. So why don't we took the initiative and increase our portfolio? I know many falls for the trap and sell off but I think BTC won't touch the 20k mark again any time soon.
