362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, Dark Web, Drugs and Government. on: December 19, 2019, 05:04:43 AM
Philippines war on drugs entered a new phase as drug Syndicates are now using bitcoin to transact and avoid detection from the government. PDEA(Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency) recently found out that most organized Drug syndicate are using the dark web to transact to each other. It's clear that some countries are slower at adopting new technologies and these drug syndicate took the opportunity to make their transactions much easier without being detected by the government. here is the link for more details: https://www.philstar.com/headlines/2019/06/11/1925535/pdea-drug-syndicates-use-dark-web-bitcoin

Sometimes its very sad to see the government always relating cryptocurrency or Bitcoin to the dark web, drugs and other criminal activities seen in the world but they forget that the decentralized nature of the cryptocurrency platform makes it easy to trace every transactions made on the blockchain network. Instead of them joining the crypto space and deploying developers into creating systems that can be used to track down these activities, they just spend their time developing useless policies that will not help prevent these activities........
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I don't see the transaction in my wallet but only in blockchain on: December 19, 2019, 04:21:16 AM
Hey I am using PAXFUL wallet and a buyer sent me a payment to my wallet address two times.
First time I got the payment and the money was confirmed but second time I can't see the incoming bitcoin in my PAXFUL wallet.

He sent me a proof here:
www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/d572622a3ef1e1b376edffedfa405048da35fcea173af986b07c96eb8c3fafa2
My wallet address is this: 3KTKcrVpkvR2X2brDuEsVQGRwUNuH28k5t

I can see he really made the payment and its already got 10 confirmations.
Am I right?
this is the payment?
but I don't see it in my PAXFUL. do you know what the reason can be?

The best place to get an answer to this your problem is by contacting the paxful support to assist you. So far as it shows on the blockchain network that the transaction was made and its been confirmed indicates that the bitcoin was sent to that particular Bitcoin wallet address.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Two Years Ago, Bitcoin Was Over $19,000 — What Happened? on: December 19, 2019, 04:16:44 AM
The true cause of the frequent change of the market value of bitcoin is not really known and understood but since the whole network of the bitcoin blockchain network is decentralized, it is assumed that the price changes of bitcoin is based on the principle of demand and supply. During the year which the market value of bitcoin was $19k, I was assumed that the demand for Bitcoin was more than the rate at which Bitcoin was been supplied. Since the demand was more than supply, it affected the market value of it. But for some time now, the demand for Bitcoin is below its supply causing the drop in its market value. This has been the only underlining concept behind the changes in the market value of Bitcoin..
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: STOP BUYING BITCOIN NOW!!! This coin is crap on: December 17, 2019, 04:15:30 PM
Bitcoin is a total worthless coin that is controlled by chinese miners that hate you.

Bitcoin cant do anything that ethereum can do much better.

Instead of wasting your time to think and make this post, why not use that time to educate yourself on what bitcoin is and its true purpose. You are just an ignorant person who have no knowledge about whatever you are trying to post on this forum. Education yourself on bitcoin and you will stop making this kinda shit post.
366  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How long will existing encryption last? on: December 17, 2019, 04:09:34 PM
Encryption has always existed since the creation and existence of this universe we find ourselves and been modified as years go by. So to answer your question ' How long will existing encryption last', the duration of the existence of a particular encryption will depend on how frequent the people or group that developed the encryption modify their encryption as the technological world keeps advancing.  The duration of every encryption depends solely on how its been modify to suit the current state of its ecosystem.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is this the right time to buy now? Or wait for a bit to go even lower? on: December 17, 2019, 03:59:43 PM
Once you have sufficient knowledge and understanding about the entire bitcoin market, knowing when to buy or sell your bitcoins as a daily trader or an investor becomes easily. Considering the market price of bitcoin now, as a new investor, you are not really convinced that the market value will start increasing once you buy the bitcoin. It is likely that the price might further decrease which indicates that you as a trader or investor is running at a loss.  So my point is that, knowing and understanding the bitcoin market is essential in terms of when to buy or sell your bitcoin.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Cryptocurrency is inevitable" says Indian Parliament member Dr. Swami on: December 17, 2019, 04:52:15 AM
Indian Parliament member Dr. Subramanian Swamy has shared his view on cryptocurrency. Advocating for India to make the transition to crypto, he reportedly said, “cryptocurrency is inevitable.” The lawmaker will chair a conference at the UN India’s headquarters next week where issues surrounding cryptocurrency in the country will be discussed.

Exactly, this man true understand how the entire financial world is transforming .... Considering the rate at which the world is advancing in terms of technology and artificial intelligence, the use of digital currencies is something which is definitely inevitable. It is about time the entire world accept and adopt the use of cryptocurrencies since they are the new revolution of physical fiats. People need to just understand what cryptocurrencies are and the benefits they will introduce to the financial ecosystem  and mainstream transactions among people.
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will hit 5500 ? on: December 17, 2019, 01:43:18 AM
i think bitcoin will hiy 5500$  because of bitmex leavrage trading

Everybody on this forum has his/her own assumptions with regards to the possible market value of Bitcoin in the next months or days. I don't really think Bitmex leaverage trading can't be the specific reason for the market aof Bitcoin to drop to 5500$. Please try to get a concrete evidence or proof to back your assumptions in order for others to understand your reasons for having such assumptions.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Crypto/Blockchain hype over? on: December 14, 2019, 05:58:38 PM
With ever-declining prices on the crypto market since 2018, there has been a decline in the number of ICOs and the emergence of new crypto projects within the mainstream world. 2017 was believed to be the golden year of crypto and Blockchain technology as people invested massively across the market. Crypto startups, companies, and businesses have been largely successful since then. Due to the hype, we've seen many projects come up with a Blockchain solution for nearly anything in life. But the truth is that Blockchain is not needed for absolutely everything.

It's today, and there seems to be a decline in crypto interest among people in the mainstream world. The number of crypto startups and companies have been reduced too. Does this mean that the crypto/Blockchain hype is finally over? Or is it still going on?

What are your thoughts? Huh

It happens on how you understand the main benefits of the use of blockchain technology. The decline in the prices of most cryptocurrencies has nothing to do with over hype or under hype of blockchain technology.  The entire world have not seen the true significance of blockchain technology. Majority of crypto projects or companies in the crypto space are just interested in profits rather than developing projects to solve actual problems. This is the main reason why there are decline in the market value of most crypto coins...
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There is a better alternative to Bitcoin and why not use it? on: December 14, 2019, 05:57:40 PM
DigiByte!

I'm not hyping this one. And I love Bitcoin (actually i have stacks of it). I am on the verge of looking something useful. Creating a FUD or Hyping does not help me grow my knowledge.

I newly discover crypto this year. As my 1 month of stay here in bitcointalk and crypto space and evaluated top 100 crypto who stayed for almost long enough in the hundreths and did an ample experience to them. (bought them and used them) I do see a lot of coins with potential and some other use cases but for currency it's undoubtedly Bitcoin. Now, I'm even confused. There is a bright future for DigiByte out there as a currency use and for people who had crypto that stayed long enough in the crypto space and bitcointalk, I only thought of them making a fortune in it (not really thinking about the future of blockchain tech). Digibyte has very secure and strong foundation in it's community. Scalability, fees and scarcity is no issue there. They also have a decentralized broker where you can make a transaction of an investment with direct profits into your wallet.

Now my question is; Any of you here really see what is good in DigiByte? I would love to hear any replies. This is an educational question for me as I have seen what is the real use case of a cryptocurrency and I found out in BTC and DGB as a leading candidates for Global use as a currency. I also want to hear the negative side of digibyte as a currency, maybe because I'm pre-occupied or clouded at the moment of this coin with great potential in my opinion.

I mean no harm of doing this. Since this is a Bitcoin forum talk.

I don't think you really understand the reasons why Bitcoin is always  considered the number one cryptocurrency. Bitcoin introduced blockchain technology and blockchain technology is the building block of all cryptocurrencies in the entire crypto space. In as much that a new crypto coin presents a good solution to a particular problem in the crypto ecosystem,  it adapts blockchain technology  in building its own blockchain network. Once blockchain technology is used, Bitcoin has an influence on that particular crypto coin.
372  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can i Bitcoin or not on: December 14, 2019, 07:03:11 AM
I realy want to buy Bitcoin i have 5000$ give good idea plz

First and foremost, do you just wanna buy Bitcoin and hold for a long term or short term? Secondly, how well do you know and understand the entire bitcoin space and the Biitcoin market? Do you know and understand the risks associated with buying or investing in Bitcoin? If you have no idea on the risks seen in the crypto ecosystem, please don't bother buying Bitcoin. You should first acquire sufficient knowledge about the bitcoin and understand the risks involved in investing in Bitcoin before attempting to buy or invest in Bitcoin.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BItcoin: The path to $10,000,000 ten million dollars per coin on: December 14, 2019, 06:54:49 AM
Bitcoin is designed to be more scarce every single day while the population is almost required to increase its demand. Why? Because people will have to sell their failed fiduciary currencies per Bitcoin. The current financial system failed already and people will realize that Bitcoin is the only system to reset everything. Governments will try to create their centralized cryptocurrencies that will fail like the fiat due to hacks and the fact that people will prefer to use Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a blackhole that is swallowing every single fiat bill. 10 million dollars per coin is probably too conservative. People who dont own Bitcoin now will have to own in it later. Those who are acummulating BTC right now will be the richest people in the world. Bitcoin should hit that price in the next 10 years and there is nothing that could stop it.

Considering the entire nature of Bitcoin and its ecosystem, there are huge possibilities that the market value of Bitcoin might be worth thousands of dollars but I don't really see it becoming worth millions. In as much that there is a specific total amount of Bitcoin to be in total circulation, that can't be an indication to conclude that 1 bitcoin might be worth 10 million dollars in some time to come.  Even if Bitcoin is worldwide adapted into the main stream financial ecosystem, its market value will not be up to millions.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Whale Spends over 800 BTC just to Win a 5 Million Doge Bet on: December 14, 2019, 06:32:28 AM
https://www.coincurb.com/news/bitcoin-investor-spends-800-btc-to-win-bet/

This guy on Twitter actually spent 800 (probably more) BTC in order to win a few Dogecoins. Goes to show how easy it is to manipulate the market.

People with such huge amount of Bitcoins in their wallet have little concern about the entire crypto space. Personally, I think this person did that just to contain huge amount of Dogecoins just to try and see if he can manipulate the Dogecoin market.  I will not be surprised if this person has about thousands of Bitcoin in his wallet, so spending 800 Bitcoin for 5 million Dogecoins will not really affect his crypto worth.  But on a serious note, 800 Bitcoin is a lot to just spend that on a bet just for 5 million Dogecoin which is no where equivalent to the Bitcoin spent.  I don't really think this story is truth considering the worth of the 800 Bitcoins at the current price and spending such amount for  less than 0.01% of the amount spent.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think of the current status of Bitcoin? on: December 13, 2019, 01:28:22 PM
Bitcoin has been through a lot for the pass 10 years of its existence in the financial world and the entire world in general. The current status of Bitcoin is that  a lot of people in the entire crypto space do not really understand and know what Bitcoin is and the real purpose of Bitcoin, they only see bitcoin as a digital asset.  The entire crypto space regards Bitcoin as a digital asset than a digital currency just like fiat currencies used for exchange of goods and services.  This has affected the rate at which Bitcoin is been adapted into the main stream financial ecosystem.  The idea of Bitcoin being a digital asset is affecting the way people see Bitcoin.
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: I forgot the password from wallet.dat 18.2 BTC on: December 13, 2019, 12:12:08 PM
First and foremost, how can you have such an amount of Bitcoin in your wallet and forget the password to the wallet? Well, you just have to accept that your Bitcoins in the wallet  is lose forever. Please don't waste your time trying to get a way to restore your wallet without the password. Once you don't remember the password, it is useless trying to restore your wallet.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: December 13, 2019, 07:43:19 AM
In as much that there are a lot of scams in the bitcoin ecosystem and the entire crypto space as a whole, greed is the only reason why a lot people in the crypto space and bitcoin ecosystem fall for these scams. It is about time people in the crypto space need to research before investing into anything in this ecosystem.  Knowledge and understanding are the key elements need to avoid being scammed in the bitcoin ecosystem. Scammers are always looking for greedy people in the ecosystem to scam them. A lot of people in the crypto space do not really know what bitcoin is and its significant purpose in the entire financial space.  Due to this, people easily get scammed.
378  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin really still decentralized?? on: December 12, 2019, 11:53:59 AM
First and foremost, do you really understand what decentralization means? In as much that there are huge mining farm companies mining Bitcoins, they do not actually control the entire Bitcoin ecosystem and the amount of transactions made on the bitcoin blockchain network. Decentralization is about the freedom to make transactions without needing a third party to confirm the transactions. The nature of Bitcoin mining does not make the entire Bitcoin look not decentralized.....
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypt is now legal in Ukraine on: December 12, 2019, 04:59:25 AM
The use of cryptocurrencies will definitely be legalized all around the world but the only problem is that it might take a very long time for this to actually happen. Ukraine finally making cryptocurrency legal is a great news since this will bring a massive impart into the crypto market and also influence neighbouring countries to consider the legalization of cryptocurrency.  Once a lot of countries get on broad on joining the crypto space, it causes other countries to consider joining...
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Bitcoin scampany got rekt! on: December 12, 2019, 04:48:58 AM
Its so sad that there are a lot of ponzi scams in the bitcoin ecosystem. But only people with the nature of greed in the crypto space will always be victims scams seen in the bitcoin ecosystem. The greedy nature of majority of people in the crypto space will always make ponzi scheme and scams to exist in this ecosystem. People are always looking for quick ways of making money in the crypto space without understanding that cryptocurrenies are just the digital presentation of fiat currency. If the greed nature of people don't leave the crypto space, scams will always exist.
