361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New defi project fake volume in uniswap? on: November 08, 2020, 09:28:52 PM
The old school tactic still works, few whales buy cheap the trading bots pump-dump the price: easy money. I never joined the DEFI projects because the decentralization didn't prove itself on the new projects. The new projects usually aim to make money by using tricky methods and fooling HYPE-d investors.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Know what bankroll management is in sports betting? on: November 08, 2020, 09:09:56 PM
Looks near to the perfect on paperwork or for making a master thesis but let's accept the reality and move on with it. The idea of gambling is not only having fun, entertainment, and checking Youtube streamers is more fun for me. The main idea is to increase the bankroll and run fast from the casino. If the only idea is to have fun, then either the money is no a problem or he really likes adrenaline on gambling. Otherwise, demo play is enough for reaching the same "fun level".  Just my 2 cents.

365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: bitcoin and altcoins bull run every 4years. how many years already? 🐂🐃🦈 on: November 07, 2020, 11:54:42 PM
There is this fine line that I am worried about that I am not sure what will happen. We are at a place where we are doing very well right now and I believe we will continue to do well for a while as well, however I do not have a magic ball that shows me the future so I am not sure if this will continue until end of the year, we are still almost 2 months away from that so I am not entirely sure what is going to happen.

Obviously speaking we had 2017 where we looked like we were ending the year awesome but by the time 1st of January 2018 came along we already started to fall, it was still high but it was going down and it kept going down afterwards. So my question is, will we continue to grow well into 2021? Or did we just had the increase and from now on that is the end of it?
The last bull market has happened in the last months of 2017 and on the first quarter of 2018, maybe 2021 will bring the same cycle to the crypto markets. Talking about the volatile markets is different but OP asks about our guesses. TBH, it is very hard to hit the exact point, and speculation by big market players makes it very hard for us to find the gaps in patterns.

You should give more information if you look for the help on forum. Many scam excahgnes just rebrand and they come back with the new scam tactics. Never send your personal documents to these gangsters, one day you can find your ID on dark web. Better forget about it.
367  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading hours on: November 07, 2020, 10:44:23 PM
For long term trading, choosing the timeframe is easy and we usually don't chase the opening hours of global markets. From my experience, the London opening hours are usually a rush for day traders and this affects the daily volatility of the BTC markets. Maybe for US markets, the movement on forex pairs affects the crypto prices too.

368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin price rise affect your gameplay? on: November 07, 2020, 09:46:43 PM
Normally, I prefer to wait for stable or flat market prices in order to withdraw the funds from crypto casinos. If the BTC rate is fixed on the website or the system automatically converts the crypto to floating coins, I will not hesitate to do what I was doing before the uptrend/downtrend. The 30% increase in the market can change my mind but it is meaningless to take gambling seriously if there is an opportunity on the trading crypto markets.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WebMoney users on: November 07, 2020, 08:58:32 PM
I couldn't ask someone to pay on my behalf, because I wanted to pay a merchant and that can not be done without giving my account details. I ended up verifying my identity as the links posted above suggested but nothing has changed. I still have the same limits for some reason Undecided I reached out to the support, and they haven't replied either...If you have an idea, please share.
Never try to use the personal details of another person for Webmoney or Yandex money, I have used the both and video verification will clear all the hard job by you in case of verifying account in behalf of someone else. It doesn't worth to risk. If you can make a agreement or use escrow from someone you trust, no need to pass verification. TBH, I didn't get the point here: Did your Webmoney account receive money or you just worry about KYC?

371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Xcard a scam? on: November 06, 2020, 11:32:32 PM
in my opinion this project is no longer active, even in their telegram group there are no updates anymore, I also participate in the bounty, I think the Xcard Project has failed, no need to expect much
Like all other bounty projects, it has failed in the competitive crypto industry. The Telegram groups are messy due to the frequently asked the same questions by bounty hunters and card project fail for not keeping their promises. Many crypto debit card projects have failed to deliver the real working product because Visa doesn't authorize the transactions from the small crypto companies.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: this is the time for Ethereum on: November 06, 2020, 11:09:24 PM
The bullish flag on ETH chart indicates the continuation of uptrend on ETH but I can't see the same trading patterns on altcoin charts. The situation is totally different for the altcoins and ETH can push the price of the total marketcap of altcoin markets.
373  Economy / Exchanges / Re: IS YOBIT VMINING A SCAM ? on: November 06, 2020, 09:56:38 PM
Scam tokens are the monthly hobby of Yobit management and when they get bored of the token they will set a minimum sell limit order. No need to overcomplicate the working mechanism of the scam machine, they let the small planktons to earn a little bit later 1 whale takes all winnings back. The best part of the story, you know the chances are very high to get scammed because you make money by doing nothing literally. The limit orders have a limit and reaching the minimum order limit requires more BTC deposits which is a meal of whales. Be careful and stay away if something looks too good to be true.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency Massive Adoption on: November 06, 2020, 09:07:41 PM
The support will grow with weeks, months and the mentioned timeframes will turn to years if Paypal can declare the full legalization paperwork for worldwide merchants. Not only India but other big governments will join the trend and they will lead the specialist for creating the government-backed up crypto projects.

376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there any truly safe bets in sports betting? on: November 05, 2020, 11:50:57 PM
I've read some strats that will help increase the odds of you winning regardless of whose team you are betting on. But essentially, there's no way you can predict the odds on a sporting bet. especially if it's going to be a multiple contestants game like horse race unless if the game is unfairly tipped over to one contender. But again, essentially, there is no safe bets in sports betting.

There is no safe odds or low odds on horse racing. Most of the horse participants are sharing close odds or the low odds can still consider as risky (around 1.6).

But anyway, on whatever sports, betting at minimum 1.1 or lower is a waste of money to me.

Can't believe someone will put some amount on that odds.
Just a small example from yesterday if someone still believes they can catch something by checking the odds on big bookies:
Pinnacle as one of the biggest bookmakers in the sports gambling industry has decreased the odds of 3.5 total goals in the Barcelona-Dynamo match. At 22:13 the odd was 1.63 but it has sharply gone down 20 minutes before the match. At 00:00 the odd was exactly 1.52 while the same bet was 1.56-1.65 on other bookies. Telegram betting groups have sent alerts about this "fixed bet" but the outcome has not changed. The final score was 2:1 and it is under 3.5. I just shared this explanation because I have made a bet on this bet selection too  Smiley
377  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is pumping on: November 05, 2020, 11:24:42 PM
So let me ask you a question in one word tell me:
1. Will Bitcoin create a new ATH?
2. What is your price prediction?
3. Will Bitcoin reach $50,000 this time.

Thanks.
1) New ATH will be higher than $25000 if Biden can change the situation for the US economy after the strong impulses by Trump.
2) Maybe it will touch $18000 in a week but the flat market will be boring to watch if the demand falls on this price range.
3) Speculation is not a good idea if there is no fundamental support, especially in the volatile crypto markets.

378  Economy / Goods / Re: Paper wallets on: November 05, 2020, 10:43:28 PM
Is it possible to repair the burned Hard drive? It contains the private key of ETH wallet which I have lost access years ago but still hold for no reason.

I will buy paper wallets to restore - or help with restoring damaged wallets / WIFs.
Restoring damaged paper wallets?  Is that what you mean?

And what kind of damaged you can restore?

What's your website where you operate? Why I ask? Most legit bitcoin recovery services have a website.

380  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: November 02, 2020, 11:58:29 PM
At least having that option would be better since different players have different preferences.
Roobet should consider giving this option to their users to let them choose their primary currency for gambling.

That probably not possible in a site that offer games from 3rd party provider

Some 3rd party game provider ( Pragmatic Play and Evolution Gaming for example ) has built in wager system with the lowest bet of 0.1/0.2 unit. So if the site uses bitcoin currency instead of usd / euro, lowest bet will show as 0.1 mbtc instead of 0.1 usd. That would be over $1 as the lowest minimum bet which is why alot of site opted to use usd / euro if they provide 3rd party slots in their site
Afaik, Roobet has contract with Softswiss which provides the games for Roobet users but I have no idea about built-in wager system.  The answer will be interesting to know why the house edge is higher on Roobet. I have checked the same slot on 5 different casinos and other casinos have the 96.51% RTP.

96.51% RTP seems the standard RTP for some slots game, I also checked on the Casino I played, and seems they are all the same RTP on the same slot.  I am also curious about the answer of Roobet to this inquiry.  I hope we can hear a good reason for this.
Roobet has lowered the house edge of Dog house game and this number is 4.49% per bet while other casinos just take 3.49%. Maybe each casino has a different commission rate per provider and Roobet takes data from the previously mentioned third-party. Someone with deep knowledge can enlighten us about this house edge adjustment. I am sure there is a logical explanation for this because the house edge should be different on other slots of Pragmatic provider too.

Obviously, waiting for low network fees can be waste of time because the volatile crypto market doesn't want to calm down all day. The feasible solution is to use chips balance and let the user choose which way it is affordable to request a withdrawal. ETH fees were over $2 a few weeks ago due to DEFI transactions, the same thing has happened for BTC transactions. Maybe it is time to use "chip balance" or adding an option to exchange altcoins which is faster and cheaper.
I got your point.  You will have to wait for the withdrawal fee to go down if you are hesitant to request if the price is too expensive for you.  And when it goes down and you want to continue, the value of the coin can go down as well.  We now know that there is a time when the transaction fee of BTC or ETH is high, so in such situations, other altcoins like XRP are needed to save.
What if the market volatility doesn't go down for a week? The BTC has crashed from $13k to $12100 in few hours and the fees climbed to higher than previous rates. Unconfirmed transactions were more than 102k and this was the first time I have waited more than 2 days for a single confirmation.
