361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your state on mind if your son stole your money to gamble? on: January 24, 2024, 09:23:11 AM
I will probably discipline him the hard way, this is how my father trained up and today I am glad he handled us this way, I used to think that my father was too harsh on us until I grow up, now I can't stop thanking him for bringing us up this way.

I will do the same thing with my children, unlike the parenting skills of today's parent, they are the ones responsible for the mess that this generation are doing, the fear of their kids hating them have made them to get too soft with the kids.

Some kids are differently, very tough and stubborn that no matter what you tell them to avoid they will still not listen to you, the only thing they listen to is punishment and some b*****, it's what many kids fear and understand, find which one your kid listen to, the words of the mouth or your harsh punishment on them, and after embrace them and let them know you love them, to avoid tiger parenting which can create some boundaries between you and your kids.
362  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has never pass ATH before halving but it has always dip don't panic. on: January 24, 2024, 08:40:54 AM
@Hugeblack is right, everyone thought that ETF will make Bitcoin reach a new all time high liken ever before, breaking its past price actions in every circle, all because of the ETF approval, I was like isn't this too much to ask for?

Now that this isn't happening many people feel bad, there is a saying that when the hordes follows left you must take the right path because there is a huge chance that things wont go their way, I was expecting this crash anyway and it's more healthy and bullish for Bitcoin, the best time is almost here.

You guys should not feel too concern about this price action right now, take this as another opportunity to grab more Bitcoin before it's finally too late, there won't be anymore opportunity like this by the mid of this year, now is the time to buy.
363  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What You will do in this situation? on: January 24, 2024, 07:56:18 AM
OP, what if this person wins more or let me say what if he gets more lucky with Slots than sports betting? People need to understand that we are beings with spirits in us, he might not be so lucky with sports bet and gets more lucky with slots game, for a beginner I will prefer to advice them to get involve in a gambling niche first and see how it goes for them.

Beginner should be free to test things out first and see which one will work best for them, you can never know which one will work better for you until you try, and maybe that Dice games that you have been running away from is where you will get most luck you don't know.

Many people don't want to accept that sports are all about luck too, which makes me to ask myself few times before that why are people losing a lot of money on sports bet then if its not a game of luck, no single form of gambling is safer, even if you stand on small odds you can still lose your money.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Prepare for the Next Dip before the Real Bull. on: January 23, 2024, 10:33:32 AM
Thanks for the heads up but I am waiting for 35k but it's true that anything under 40k is a good buying area but I will advise you to avoid going all in, as we can see even lower price for Bitcoin entering into the month of March.

Right now a good DCA strategy is best, buy some Bitcoin this January ending and do the same in February and early March, you won't have to worry much about price action with this DCA method, it always works best.

No one knows what's going to happen, from my research this morning I can see that even big whales are dumping billions worth of Bitcoin like they knew something is coming, it's a stress to react to this but it's better to just DCA and hold your Bitcoin.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can somebody make a successful career in gambling on: January 23, 2024, 09:24:35 AM

~snip~

Another question is, if gambling can make money then why do so many people suffer huge losses until they lose everything? This is one of the reasons and the main point why I never thought that gambling could be made into an income, no matter where you gamble but still everything called gambling is always unpredictable about the results because everything there is random and there is no consistent victory at the end of each session.
In my opinion, the answer is very short, because they are greedy with their winnings. There are those who win gambling which they actually feel is enough for that day, but their brain continues to think that the winnings can still increase again and again. so they don't gamble, they gamble until what they think is wrong and they end up losing everything.
This is basically the basic thought to every gambler who tend to win more and sometimes you won't blame them because this feeling is actually like a virus that eats every human exception of those with strong will power to resist the game and the opportunity of feeling you actually won free money. When the gambler experience winnings on a steady for some time he begins to think that there actually no such thing as losing and feels he can do it everytime till the whole story changes.
You are right, they need to erase becoming something out of gambling first, I remember when I use to trade on exchange, whenever I win I always use the money to buy some Bitcoin and use the initial back the next time I want to trade again, if I win a lot of money in gambling I will definitely use the money to invest, i's better than expecting to win a lot of money, like go hard or go home, it is a suicide.

Hoping to make life changing money out of gambling is like hoping to make money out of a thin air, with no strength been sacrifice, most times gambling is giving the vibe of money is easy to make which its not true, when it's too good to be true don't doubt it, with this mindset you will never risk a lot of money on gambling because you believe that making money was never meant to be so easy.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: While placing bet what comes your mind on: January 23, 2024, 08:12:09 AM
I don't think like everyone, honestly the first thing that comes to mind is that I will probably lose the money I am risking, I don't have the eager to win some money, it's always me giving my money away and when I don't see it coming, the casino gives back at times and sometimes the money is good enough.

How can I always wish to make free money when I don't plant any seed to make me expect some gains? I only expect money from where I put in a lot of effort not like gambling, this gambling thing is like giving you an opportunity out of 100 of bad luck, you can't rely on gambling like you should with your business or your source of income.

If you don't have a skill, start looking for one, if you are into business don't destroy everything with your gambling activities, let your business be your main focus, if you are making good amount of money you will be able to gamble out of fun, not trying to be a millionaire by gambling.
367  Economy / Gambling / Re: How Crypto casino market themselves? on: January 23, 2024, 07:24:04 AM
YouTubers and influencers, anything that can get the advert up and running to the world, but at the end of the day it doesn't make you a perfect gambler, the way you decide to gamble is what will make you a good gambler, risk only what you can afford to lose, don't get controlled by others who win more than you, they will never tell you how long they have been losing before they win this time around.

Care more about how much you are winning to lose, don't run after big gains, this have gotten many gamblers wrecked, be contented with what you are using and with how much you get on your lucky times, do not copy other gamblers, no strategy works better than been a responsible gambler.

There are many ways casino do their marketing, but it doesn't show how reliable they are, you need to do your own research and I recommend casinos on Bitcointalk instead of finding some casinos online by yourself, they will probably have fake reviews available but no fake reviews on this forum.
368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do they managed ? on: January 22, 2024, 01:26:07 PM
It depends on those who are accepting Bitcoin, I suspect that most of them will change the Bitcoin back to stable coin instantly right after the transaction is successful while some will want to hold, this is something I use to do before the high transaction fee made me stop, right now I prefer accepting Fiat and use that to buy some Bitcoin on Binance until I am ready to move the Bitcoin back into my hardware wallet.

Right now, my customers who are used to paying me with Bitcoin have changed their minds since the high transaction fee on Bitcoin Network, it's pretty hard to accept Bitcoin as means of payment now because many customers wont be ready to pay you using Bitcoin, they would rather use other means and hold their Bitcoin.

Bitcoin as a payment option only makes sense if the product they want to buy is very high in value, like in thousand of dollars then using $10 per transaction will be good or even more, but trying to buy anything in the hundred of dollars makes no sense to many and I don't blame them.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you pay attention on other people bet and it amount, and does it affect you? on: January 22, 2024, 12:00:24 PM
I used to be moved by a friend who is into gambling, whenever she won some money I always feel left out but due to the warnings from my father about gambling I dare not give a try at the time, and later she keep some distance, only to find out that she lost almost everything in gambling that was why she was avoiding me.

I helped her in some categories and after I told her everything my father told me, we are still good friends till today and she already quit gambling, later after I started making some money I start my own gambling activities but when I told her she doesn't seem to be interested or moved about it.

There is no point in paying attention to gamblers around you, most of them always become a victim to their own desire and greed through gambling, it's better to avoid them and take your responsible gambling very serious, watching others can fuel up your desire for gambling and it can lead you into making wrong decisions.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Increased Gambling Risk for the Younger Generation on: January 22, 2024, 10:21:44 AM
I have few numbers of cousins and they are all male, they don't have any interest in gambling, I look out for them because I care and whenever I bring up gambling they ridicule the habit, they also give examples of their colleagues in school that got ruined because of gambling.

Not all younger generations give a F about gambling, some do and some don't, it's not all of them, the environment they grow up in always says a lot about the behaviour of these young generations, some are desperate to do anything for money and even their parents won't correct them, as it's clearing that parents are the ones turning those young people into what they are today.

Like a old man once told me, he said not all parents of today are worth been called a parent, they themselves should still be in their fathers and mothers home for some lecture about parenting, and honestly I can't say that this is a lie, judging from the little I have seen around me.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do i handle my first gambling experience on: January 22, 2024, 09:33:53 AM
Whatever is behind the reason why you choose to become a gambler, know that losing is the most certain in this space, that's why you should use small amount to give a try first, some beginners have a bad starting experience in gambling and it's not bad at all, because they will learn to be cautious compare to beginners that start winning straight away.

I believe that beginners who have some winning will likely believe that this is the true color of gambling, and they might end up getting addicted straight away, the reality of gambling is how you handle your emotion and greed, know that gambling is never going to be a source of income.

Gambling is best for those looking for entertainment while risking some money, mind you, gambling will only be a form of entertainment only if you risk very little amount of money, because how will you enjoy the game when you have bet a lot that you are not ready to lose? So many gamblers don't understand gambling and they end up learning the hard way.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Patience can help alot on: January 21, 2024, 12:12:24 PM
You won't feel pain if you are using a gambling budget, it's crazy how people think when they gamble, they suddenly need to make a certain amount because they have something in mind they want for themselves, and they will risk twice as high as their main budget on one single game, thinking this time will be different.

This time will be different is how many gamblers have hurt themselves, I like been me, there are things I have no power over, there are things I can't control, gambling is one of them, I just do it and accept whatever comes after, but one thing is doable for me, this is where I have full control over gambling, that's the budget I risk on gambling.

If gambling can take a lot from you, I will make sure that it takes so less from me, because I am different, I don't expect much from something that I don't work very hard on, it's too easy and that's why I won't get the result I want, its just so understandable.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The worst situation you're in that you regret that you learn about gambling on: January 21, 2024, 11:21:32 AM
I learnt something good from my father, he always told us about how someone else money never worked for him, either in business or in running something, the end result will be bad for him, and while growing up I came to understand that I have the same thing in me.

If I use money that belongs to someone else to invest or do business or runs other thing it always end badly, so someone like me always stay away from borrowing money from anyone or the bank, not even the loan sharks, imagine using such money to gamble? I will definitely lose it all.

I have never found myself in such situation before, I don't even like having someone's money on me, I don't keep such money to avoid spending it and I don't borrow either.
374  Economy / Speculation / Re: Historical price of Bitcoin New Year Day (1st January). on: January 21, 2024, 10:41:15 AM
Nice one OP, i believe this will be useful for those who seeks for such information, I don't expect anything less than 150k for Bitcoin on the long run, but right now I have my whole mind on the probably last accumulation opportunity, maybe we will see Bitcoin go down to 30k, it will be a perfect buying time.

There is already a little fear in the market right now, as I expected, it's crazy how people always chicken out when the market is looking bearish and only get in when things are looking bullish, people do like doing the opposite of what they should be doing with crypto and investment, FOMO is indeed real in this space.
375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto gambling and religious restrictions on: January 21, 2024, 09:06:04 AM
I am not a Muslim but haram is haram and every Muslims shouldn't be gambling at all, it's against their religion, I know few Muslims that can't do without gambling, yet they pray five times daily, it's actually left for them to make decisions that suits their life.

Truth the told, most gamblers are not religiously strong, if we have to say the fact, you can't be religious and be a gambler, because both Christain and Muslims are to stay away from gambling, it doesn't help the spirits at all.

It's either you quit gambling for religion or you face gambling and be less religious, many still pray to God and still gambles, that includes myself, but I am good at watching over myself, always avoiding gambling addiction, which I believe it's the most important thing for everyone to do, either religious or not.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Social aspects of online gambling on: January 20, 2024, 10:45:52 AM
Making friends with gamblers in a casino brings distraction, if you so want to make friends there are many places for this, either offline or online you can do that but when it comes to gambling, majority of gamblers intend to double their money, not make new friends, some people are even wired in a way that they want limited friend.

If you as a gambler can't have fun in gambling because there are no other people around then your real intent is different, not impossible but you are different from hundreds of other gamblers, you should engage in other gambling games that requires player to player instead of games like Slots.
377  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be deceived!! on: January 20, 2024, 09:06:15 AM
Your example of mining isn't really mining at all, that's like Ponzi cloud mining, any Proof of Work project that ask for KYC is a shitty project, the sad part is many can't even tell the difference, to mine Bitcoin you need Asic miner, to mine Kaspa ( alternative alt ) you also need Kaspa miner, these are legit proof of work mining.

Knowledge is power like they say, if anyone falls to scam they will learn, if you don't seek for answers first you will make every mistakes possible, every legit Poof of work requires a hardware to mine, CPU, GPU, a special build miner for the PoW algorithm, miners are meant to contribute to the network of the project, it helps security wise, solve blocks and help transactions too.

Anything different from these ideas are scam or Ponzi scheme proof of work, this nonsense is why I don't give Pi Network face till date, that's no real proof of work, they give their fans a software/app and a dashboard with miner button, smartphones hardware isn't the one doing the job, it's complete cloud.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 20, 2024, 08:28:16 AM
Your idea of switching the type of game to maybe improve your chances or get back money you've lost shows that you gamble more smartly and logically. But it's important to remember that gambling results are mostly random and that moving games don't always lead to wins. Promoting safe gambling, good money management, and knowledge of the possible risks connected with gambling might be helpful for people who do it.
It's not been smart, there is nothing smarty about this move, switching games won't erase the losing part when gambling, and you even trying to get your money back makes you stupid, you don't chase your losses in gambling, in short, there is no strategy that can beat losses in gambling, if this is so why is anyone even trying to beat gambling?

Just accept that luck is all you have left to count on and risk only what you can afford to lose, some people are not smart at all, if this is something anyone calls been smart they are completely the opposite of been smart, so far from it.

There is no safe gambling too, if all you want is safe gambling, do it without place bets with your money, this is safe gambling because there is nothing to lose here, there is also nothing to win either.
379  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Rollbit stole my withdrawal… please help on: January 20, 2024, 07:08:41 AM
They are not making up that part where your account is connected to a previously banned account, you should have left that your account closed and probably try a new casino.

You started this topic with your losses on the casino, are you trying to make people feel pity for you? Sorry to say but nobody cares, you losing 100k was all your decision, the casino never forced you to gamble like a irresponsible person.

Talk less about how much you have lost in gambling, you made it all happen, it's all on you, now focus more on how to be a responsible gambler, this is a risky game, you need to protect yourself, gambling isn't created to make anyone rich, it depends on how strong your luck is, Rollbit is a reputable casino and I believe you messed this up yourself, this is one of those reasons why reading ToS is important.
380  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I'm New To Crypto - Been Scammed - What Do You Think Of This Crypto Recovery Ser on: January 18, 2024, 06:02:51 AM
Sorry to say but your money is gone, and you even trying to look for a way to get it back will expose you to another possible scam, it's true that some reviews are good for what ever website that promised to get your lost fund back but seriously, aren't you aware that reviews online are not always real?

To confuse people like you, that's why those reviews look so damn good, what you don't know is that some people are paid to write good reviews about the scam platform to deceive innocent people.

If I were you I would just move on and learn from my mistake, and make sure it never happen again, next time you should ask questions on here before doing anything, you are here now, so don't hesitate to ask questions before funding anything or using any platform.
