The test team on Discord is currently testing a version with Masternode Payments working.
It also includes coin combination to reduce the amount of PoS blocks in the network again.
Everything is done on the testnet.
We should be done testing within the next 48 hours.

Personally, I think the devs are doing a really bad job and have gone into hiding.
If your coins are on the wrong chain in an exchange, this is a high-priority task to fix it. People might not be aware of this thread and buy on Yobit - or, if it ever comes back, on coinsmarkets which might also be on the wrong chain - and see their coins simply vanish once the chains merge.
After the hard-fork disaster, I am not sure I still will keep my coins, even if they are on the right chain. My trust in the developers is shattered, I must say.
Well, its up to you if you want to stay or leave the community once we have restored the Yobit Exchange. But as of now, we are working hard on the fix and will be testing our new setup over the next 4 days. If we can confirm everything works after that.. Then we should be good and be able to move forward. We will deliver a fully detailed update and we are thinking of doing a live Q&A on our Discord where our community can ask the team anything they want to. We will try to answer everything to the best of our ability. |

so where are you meant to buy this coin now?
Nowhere. You cannot buy it, you cannot sell it, you cannot do anything except holding and staking. That chain split was a disaster. We can only hope that the developers will issue an update, but I fear that the image of this project may be ruined. Just a bump in the road, the current goal is to release an update that gives the community all the details they need for the very near future of what will happen. Spoiler alert: We won't be quitting anytime soon. Big stuff is happening.. |

As said before, we are working on a fix that will make it possible to release all real coins from Yobit to our users. When this update is released to the public and we have paid the ransom that Yobit has set, then we will ask all users to pull all coins from Yobit back to a local wallet. The update is less than 10 days away, we are doing everything we can to get things back on track. It's a sad situation currently, but it would be a waste for our loyal users to abandon this project in its current state. No details will be left in the dark.
We warned users not to buy coins on Yobit, and from what we know, they are on the wrong chain.
If you continued to ignore our warnings and trade on Yobit, then its possible you might have coins that hold no value.
There is no way of knowing what coins are real and which aren't on Yobit.
Not until we have the new update ready and paid them to update to save user funds.
Glad to hear positive news from you mate. This will be one expensive lesson learned but it is nice to see your care about every single Altcom/Sonos user. After all this ends, Yobit wont see me anytime soon. Its a kind of "Ransom" situation we have currently. As we have to pay them to update to the newest wallet that we will release. After that, a total ban will be put in when it comes to trading on Yobit. But all the details will be in the update. |

We have sadly had a lot of issues throughout time, but at no point have we thought of abandoning this project.
The community has helped us fund this project, and when we sold the 3000 SONO the exchange was finalized and will be ready within 6 months.
If you wish to sell your coins, feel free to do so.
Just remember not to try and sell them on Yobit, wait for our update and then do whatever you want.

So the coins I sent to the yobit address from the correct chain.. are no in the that yobit address, in the correct chain.. but yobit doesn't see them because they are in the wrong chain... when/if yobit updates to the correct chain... they will get access to the coins sent to that address on the correct chain? like they will have the right keys for them?
Sono is a fork of Altcom, just like Bitcoin Cash is a fork of Bitcoin) Yes, they should process all the deposits once they sync the Sono. Hey, really appreciate the clarity. Does anyone know the status of getting Sono on another exchange? now good time to buy sono on yobit!! good price for nodes!!! DO NOT BUY COINS FROM YOBIT. THE COINS ARE ON THE WRONG CHAIN. When we update, those coins will not be on the right chain! |

Just checking in fast, but here is an important update.
1. Do NOT trade on Yobit.
- Don't send coins to Yobit, don't withdraw coins from Yobit.
2. Some users have found fewer coins in their wallet than there really is. Don't panic.
- Just Repair your wallet and resync to the network and they will all be back.
3. More details will come out later, but for now, test pools see if they run on the right chain.
The team will be online later and help where we can.
This is a sad situation, but it's just a bump in the road.
