Proof of stake is not better protocol. It is completely diffrent. It is good that you can earn some toknes only for staking, you do not need to buy mining rigs and pay electricity.
Proof of work is probably more safe, if you have enough miners, but it is not environmentally friendly.

Divide your portfolio into short-term and long-term porftolio. In long-term portfolio have some good estabilished cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or Ethereum. In short-term portfolio choose coins, that could give you possible 10x or higher return and then sell this coin and buy more Bitcoins or Ethers  . |

Grin is soo popular, the 24 hour volume was around 1.7 million USD (volume of some top 100 altcoins) and it is traded only on some smaller exchanges, imagine what will happen after Binance or Bitmex listing.
But, it is obvious that price is overestimated because it is very profitable to mine, I think that soon price will drop down to mining costs (1$?).

Grin is now accepted as the first altcoin for forum payment and the notice was given by theymos (forum admin) today,which is literally means the forum is trusting the Grin next to the bitcoin which is kind of advertisement.

I think both investing in ICO or after ICO will give different advantages. If we are investing in ICO, we cannot avoid the scams, however, we can get more bonus and help the good projects to develop and to be real. However, it will be risky. On the other hand, investing after ICO will allow you to buy the tokens in cheaper price.

I got to admit. Most of those buyers are investors trying to make some profit over those hype coins. The only altcoin that I can think of that have use are Doge and Ethereum. I use Doge to transfer exchange to exchange because it is cheap and faster while I use Ethereum to pay bills and credits just like I use Bitcoin.
And what is the main feature of Dogecoin? Why people should invest into Doge? For me it is simple copypaste Bitcoin code like Litecoin. |
