any update on exchanges, stocks.exchange maybe?

As stated previously - we applied with a couple of exchanges and still waiting replies.

We are also in the process of developing our own exchange and we are almost done. We will announce everything here once we are satisfied that everything is working as it should be.  We are almost 95% done with our own exchange and are testing everything now. We want to be 100% satisfied that everything is working smooth.

Will keep you updated.

Thanx for your support

Hey dev How about getting the base code ready to be compiled in Linux?  You actively working on that, or is that back burner stuff?

See install instructions on github - https://github.com/williamsmithza/PlatinumCore/blob/master/doc/Platinum%20Core%20Installtion%20Ubuntu%20%20Linux.txt
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Platinum CORE (PLTCR) - POW/DPOS - SHA256 - No block halving - 1% Premine on: January 19, 2018, 09:58:08 AM
I mined a bunch of this about a week ago with my S9 and now just waiting for the POS phase.  I have my wallet open all the time but my computer reboots all the time for updates and kids use it and close programs down etc.  All my other POS coins i use a POS pool so i don't have to deal with leaving computer on and doing coin control and all that.

Are you guys interested in having a POS pool to work with?  The one i use has a really good group of people running it.  They are super helpful and really get the word out. Would be a great place to advertise and get people interested in your coin. You may end up getting a ton of nicehash slamming your network though becuse whenever a new coin is added to that pool people jump on it for while, so if you don't want that, then don't go for a staking pool.  Talk to them if you want them to be the official POS pool for you...it adds you to the best spot in their banners and advertisements.

Check it out....it's   www.StakeUnited.com    If you get your coin added there, i wouldn't have to keep my computer on all the time, would be nice.

And...of course i have a referral link for any individuals that want to join the staking pool for this or any other POS coin... https://stakeunited.com/aanubisStake    (if you use my referral link, i get a tiny cut of the pools fees....you can always join without my referral and add me later if you think they are good and want to do me a solid)

But, main thing is to get PLTCR coin out in the world and lots of frenzy over it.  Think about it.  Join their discord ( https://discord.gg/WEJ5a8n ) if you want to check them out without commiting to anything (or even them knowing you are there).  I think it's a great way to get exposure and people talking about the coin.

Thanx for your suggestion. I will get in contact with www.StakeUnited.com and hear what they say about Platinum Core - PLTCR.

Windows Wallet is a bit of a mess..

Actually, who ever made this one up, here are a couple suggestions:
1) if your going to have a background image with text over it, make the image 70-80% transparent. (specifically the left image)
2) choose a better font..  the one that is default on there now just sucks.. stay away from true type fonts.. yes
they may look nice and pretty, but if your going to be catering to 100000+ users, and not everyone has the
    same desktop as you..
3) if your going to show a list of transactions, make sure that you can support more then 3 and 1/4, and again with the fonts..
4) taskbar icon.. that really needs to be cleaned up.. looks like 16x16.. very pixelated..

Thanx for your input I will give it through to the developer of the windows wallet

Quick Update on Exchanges.

All the exchanges that we have applied with so far takes very long to respond with our request to list Platinum Core. It seems that all the exchanges are flooded with requests to add new coins. We are however in the process of developing our own exchange. Platinum Core will definitely be listed on our exchange and more info will follow soon. We are in the process of testing everything. Once up and running the website and the announcement will be updated.

We will also list other coins onto the exchange. Main markets will be BTC -PLTCR & LTC - PLTCR

We are very excited about running our own exchange and hope that our supporters for Platinum Core will share our joy and success.

At Platinum Core we don't follow trends - we set them !

Is there a GPU miner, or is it all wallet/CPU based? Also, I tried checking out the mining pools, but several were down, or didn't show the coin listed. Could you share a little more info? Danke!

You can mine on www.hashpool.co.za - pool is up and running and there is miners currently mining there.

Please see getting started page for ports and settings. http://hashpool.co.za/getting_started

Yes you could mine gpu / cpu but not recommended for solo mining - better to mine in a pool.

All these pools are live and miners currently mining Platinum Core on these pools

Thanks for the response. I think some of the pools were being blocked by my firewall. Could you respond to my question when you get a minute...e.e.: is mining done via the wallet, or is there a dedicated GPU miner, such as CGMiner variant or similar?

No there is no dedicated gpu / cpu miner. You can use any. Just google it. I will try to upload miners tomorrow to github and post the link here for the download.

Once Platinum Core is listed on an exchange do not dump your coins for ridiculous low prices. I am quiet confident that the Platinum Core can reach a good stable price on the exchanges as the reward starts low and increases as more and more blocks get mined.Tell on what exchanges are currently traded coin PLTCR and how much is 1 coin PLTCR?

We applied with exchanges to list Platinum Core. Still awaiting feedback from exchanges. As soon as Exchanges list coin I will update the website and the announcement. Listing on exchanges takes time. I have been in contact with cryptomarkets, yobit, poloniex, changegelly and several others. Just await feedback.
