Afaik, if the ban is because of insubstantial posting then it's a permaban. There is no way to get your account back. Also since you own 2 accounts, you provably also commited a ban evasion. I'm not sure tho, but I doubt you will get access to those accounts again.
I have got a ban before for unsubstantial posting, but it was only a 14 day ban. Maybe you just got unlucky and they decided to give you a perma-ban. |

I have seen several cases where someone has their bitcointalk.org account hacked and has to prove that they were the original owner. What is the best thing I can do to protect my account so that if it is hacked, I can prove it is mine?
The biggest thing is don't use online wallets get one on your computer or phone then password protect it. Even better get a cold storage device, put them on and keep it disconnected from the internet. What the hell. OP is asking about bitcointalk accounts, no Bitcoin wallets. The best way is post your address on the meta thread and if your account does get hacked, give an admin a signed message from that account and you might get the account back. |

Considering that onepix1 provided sufficient proof about him being the original owner/creator of the account, I'd suggest you handing it over to him directly. Yeah you could do that or you could just leave that account alone. Use one of your other accounts to post on the forum and cry that you lost one of your accounts. |

Really like the pdf but I don't really want to spend money to start off and I don't want to make a website. If you do though, this is a great pdf to read. It shows you how to get a tonne of impressions on your website and rake in the cash. I am not sure whether it works or not as I am not gonna waste my money trying it out. Did you even read it? It involves nothing about making a website... thanks for the review though I am certain that it said you needed to make a website and advertise on it. Other than that, what was the other ways of making money. Nothing, right? |

User can (and will) recover his password via email after you've given him the BTC... Pretty shitty scam attempt. Yes, I would agree. Someone should neg him, even if it's his first post. or at least netral and warning. Done. It's very easy to regain control of Steam Accounts after you have received the non-reversible bitcoin. So true. Steam has made it so hard for people to legitimately sell their accounts. I really don't know why they do it though. There is nothing wrong with selling accounts, maybe someone is just quitting steam and has spent a lot of money on it and wants to regain some of that money. |
