361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If I bet big I lose, but if I bet small I win on: February 09, 2024, 05:57:23 PM
Guys, do you often feel like me? when I raise the bet I lose and when I lower the bet I win. Does the casino system/algorithm know the betting patterns we make? So often when we bet big we are given a loss and when our bet is small we actually win, which is very annoying

I don't know if this applies to all games or not, but I feel like this often when playing table games. What do you think?

Well, I know that feeling. When we play with low bets and we hit everything & anything (small & big multipliers), but when we try to do the same with higher bets we instantly face losing streaks. This has happened to me several times, but I also had good hits after I raised the stakes.

All in all, it's just the feeling. After many years of gambling, we all go through countless good and bad situations... When we have an unhappy gambling session we can blame the system and algorithms, but it's just a bad day. Gambling life is full of ups and downs, so as long as we gamble we will be on the rollercoaster.
362  Economy / Gambling / Re: COINS.GAME | THE MOST REWARDING CRYPTO CASINO | SPORTSBOOK & CASINO on: February 09, 2024, 04:55:42 PM
Yesterday coins.game gave a promocode for 6 freespins on slot machines, at first I was hesitant to take the bonus because of several complaints that occurred. However, because I was bored, I tried to take the freespins, I got $4 from the freespins, then I played at live casino (pachinko) and unexpectedly I won up to $17. Because I was curious whether they would pay me or not, I tried exchanging JET for trx and making a withdrawal, and my withdrawal was successful. Coin.game is still paying my withdrawals

I'm just sharing my latest experience playing at coins.game. I am not defending them from the current accusations because that is not my capacity

It's not up to us to defend them, we are not lawyers. I have some deposits & withdrawals in the weeks behind us, but I play mostly slots and in-house games. I have some bets on sports, but nothing big... that's why I don't have problems like Gekke, I don't bet big on sports, and maybe more important is that I don't have big wins on sports.

Most of the issues about casinos are about betting on sports, it's a tricky part. I like Coins.game, they have been good to me, but what they are doing (or better to say not doing anything in this matter) is really disappointing. If they have decided to have sports betting, they should have been aware that such things will happen and have a way to deal with it in the right way. Just being quiet and running away from issues will not solve anything. Once again, I can just hope they will come back and make things right...

I tried to lock 500 FUN tokens and it shows success message. It means just the FUN balance section is disabled and we can't buy and sell tokens. Lets wait for the update from the team.
Thank you but weirdly I have also the same amount available to lock(500) so I guess it's for everyone the same thing. Are you able to lock 500 other FUN tokens once you've locked one time them. It could be a work around for people wanting to lock their FUNs if it works this way.
Just checked it after getting my mature FUN Token email yesterday, and everything appears as usual, where you can see how much we have locked and unlocked as well as an estimate of our investment, as well as the buying and selling features, are available along with the latest prices, and tried to buy around 100 Tokens, there was a successful notification but as usual the amount would not immediately appear it took some time to be seen, and also succeeded in locking back around 500 Tokens for the next month, so all the features in the premium section have returned to normal.

Working for me as well, I bought some FUN tokens and after refreshing the page they were there. I buy a little FUN now and then, 13 sats is cheap, but I think I will buy more when I see the price below 10... maybe I am waiting for something difficult to happen, but who knows, sometimes I feel like the price of FUN tokens will never stop falling.

It will be as it will be, for now, it's nice to see that things are back to normal and that buying/selling tokens is working properly again.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Blue card to be introduced in football. on: February 08, 2024, 09:51:34 PM
This is a copy/pasted idea from some other sports. So I guess it can also be applied in football games, but will it contribute to better play? I guess that's a big question.

We can expect some new rules from time to time, but this rule will change the game a lot. After all, football games last +90 minutes, and many hard fouls can happen in that time, can you imagine if we see a situation where we have many hard fouls and many 10-minute excuses? Well, I can't imagine this kind of football, to be honest, I like football as it is, let's not make it more complicated.
365  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥🔥🔥 BC.GAME - CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK | $1,000 GIVEAWAY LIVE! 🔥🔥🔥 on: February 08, 2024, 08:14:44 PM
Guys is anybody else having issues accessing the site? Every time I try to access bc.game (or its mirror sites), I get the following error: {"code":1901, "msg":"Oops, coco is gone!", "data":{}} . Never had this error before so just wondering if it is me or a general issue?

It's working fine for me... and I have had some deposits/withdrawals in the past 24 hours.

But I am confused with Rio's points... I have deposits and I wagered a few thousand dollars already but I have only 6 Rio points, which is confusing:

I am not even complaining much, it's hard (or better to say impossible) to compete with whales on BC, but for sure I have more than just 6 Rio points with my deposits and wagered amount.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress? on: February 08, 2024, 06:41:33 PM
Do you have a habit of tracking your gambling progress?
I never track my gambling traffic, I only play games that I like, when I win I withdraw, when I lose I immediately close it, I'm never crazy about increasing my gambling status.

I can relate... I play games I like, sometimes when win I withdraw, and sometimes I continue to play! Many times it turned out to be a bad decision to make, but when we are in "fire" it's hard to make the right calls. When I lose I also just close the casino and I wish myself more luck next time, it's the only right thing to do, to accept to lose and wait for the next opportunity.

I guess that tracking the gambling process is good for people who take gambling seriously and wish to make some money in the long run by playing skill-based games. But for us who like to relax and have a nice time tracking is not a big deal, we play when we can and with money we can afford to lose.
367  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you beleive in the concept of "Luck"? on: February 07, 2024, 09:31:50 PM
  • Do you believe in Luck? If so, how do you describe your perception of this concept?
  • How lucky do you think you are from 1 to 10?
  • Does your sense of luck in regular life correlate with your luck in gambling?
  • Do you believe that some special things or actions can increase your luck?

And do not hesitate to share any other thoughts about it. Let's discuss!

Nothing without luck!  It's an essential spice for everything in life! No, there are no special things that can increase our luck, we are either lucky and we will win against all odds, or we don't have luck and we will lose even with the highest odds. Some people say luck is the product of hard work... many people worked very hard and they ended up just where they started, the luck didn't shine upon them.

We have a saying "The dice must be stacked in our favor". Many factors determine what happens next, but in the end, if the dice don't line up right we will not win and be successful in whatever we planned to do. And definitely, one dice is "Luck".

369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rich or poor gambler, who should risk more? on: February 07, 2024, 03:37:34 PM
...
So, I am confused after asking myself this question and answering it, does this mean a poor gambler should continue to play it safe in gambling? With no risk, how can a poor gambler change their fortune in gambling?

Gambling is not a "safe" activity, there's always a risk of losing your money, so rich or poor nobody can gamble without risk! But there are ways to minimize those risks, especially if you play skill-based games and you work on sharpening those skills. With the right set of skills for the right game and a bit of luck poor or rich gamblers can change their fortune in gambling, but don't forget that there are no guarantees in gambling, all we can do is try and hope for the best.

There's no reason to be confused about these things... just play with money you can afford to lose and you will be fine. It's okay to watch others gamble, but try to be yourself and find your style & way of gambling that you are comfortable with.

370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Selling a property to play gamble on: February 07, 2024, 10:57:02 AM
...
No matter how deep you are in gambling never you sell a property because you will surely regret it when it doesn't work the way you expected.

Anyone who gambles with money they can't afford to lose will regret it. Even those who win and take some money will do it again and sooner or later they will lose and get into trouble. It's responsible gambling, if you can't afford to play then don't.

This is just one of the unfortunate stories of people who have gone too far in gambling. Each of us has heard many such stories and probably there will always be such people who will not be able or will not know how to control themselves. Not much to say here other than "Don't be that person, be a responsible gambler"!

I said that I have some issues with slots...

Sometimes it's a few spins, sometimes more... but it's almost unplayable when I get a similar message after 10-20 spins (more or less):

Is it me and "Mozzila browser" or it's on your end? I play the same slots in other casinos and I don't have similar issues...

In some moments it's hard to play, almost impossible... and your support agent shows that you know about this issue.

372  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betnomi | Project status & Refund Plan! on: February 06, 2024, 05:32:06 PM
It is easy to type whatever you want and name call people with no reasoning or logic behind it.

Was it easy for you to disappear with a player's funds, without any explanation, and then to come back after 6 months and think we should all act like nothing has happened? Where is the reasoning and logic behind your actions?

It's silly to announce new projects when many people wait for the refund for months... What are the chances of doing something similar with your next project?
You could have handled this situation much better, and instead of being transparent and open with your players, you chose to hide and attack anyone who criticized you.

373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Management on: February 06, 2024, 07:15:15 AM
I often run out of funds due to gambling that is too blind in terms of placing $$ on every bet I make and ends up losing. I do multi-bets and single-bets, every time I win, sometimes I forget myself and use all my $$ on the next bet. This sometimes gives me big wins, but if I'm unlucky I can lose all my funds and this has happened many times.

I think most gamblers experience something like this. At least sometimes. But don't push yourself too hard because it is very dangerous for your finances.

It's not easy to control emotions, but we shouldn't chase losses too much. You should already be starting to realize the mistake. It's better to withdraw your money when you win and have fun with that money, your life will definitely be much happier...

Every gambler has fallen into the fire several times before learning how to control their emotions and more importantly their bankroll. And some of us more than several times, I guess it's especially applied to us who are more into slots and some other lucky-based games. But when we get burned repeatedly, we learn how to play with fire... it's either that or we burn out totally.

I don't think that withdrawing is necessary, depending on the coin he gambles with fees can be high, and moving funds all the time can be expensive. I agree that he can be happier if he avoids going all-ins just to recover his losses in some nervous state of mind, so I think that OP should try to learn how to control his gambling habits and to place bets only with some part of his bankroll. The next time when he gets into the fire and gets an urge to go all-in, all he has to do is try to focus on some other activity. When he calms down he can go back to the casino and he can start a new gambling session with a cool head.
374  Economy / Economics / Re: One of the biggest problem in our society is that average person don't have on: February 06, 2024, 12:50:41 AM
Let's cut the long story short the system doesn't serve us the way we can be wealthy.
Cryptocurrency is here no restrictions no limits and only your imagination how much you can earn.

The system serves the ones on the top not the ones on the bottom. I guess it's hard to climb the ladder but it's possible and people are doing it in various ways. I guess we can say that the world is not fair and it can be a lot better place for all of us, but... it's a long story about why it's hard for many people to overcome their egos and treat all others equally.

It's possible to earn and make a profit in many ways. Crypto is great for many reasons, but like in the real world, if you don't play the right moves you will not earn anything. But if you know what you are doing and how to do some things then yes, you will make money wherever you are. It's a game like any other, and like in all games some people win and others lose... and never forget that many games are rigged, so be careful to not get into one.

375  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This was my highest risk. on: February 05, 2024, 11:26:21 PM
So have you ever taken such a risk on gambe before?

You bought a ticket that will bring you x2, and you only needed 2 more games to win and that's it. Both games were with low odds, so I don't think the risk was that big. Maybe the staked amount is big for you and it was the risky part for you? In my opinion "the high risk" is when someone is betting on some high odds and/or with huge money. Buying bonuses is a risky thing... especially if you are doing that on high volatility slots.

Anyway, congrats on the win and to your friend! It's not easy to make x177 parlay with 21 games, even if all games are with small odds. Awesome hit!

Congratulations on your winning buddy, you spent a hundred dollar + only and you turned to $2,800 which is absolutely an insane luck  Wink
Great to hear that this site process your withdrawal without any issues, although KYC is required and you need to wait for hours, it is normal.
Coming to this "level", what is/are the advantage of this level? I have not visited the casino yet, do they have VIP program with leveling up system?
What did you get so far during your leveling up from 1-5?

Thanks! It was insane from the start till the end, I finished the bonus requirement in record time. After that nice win, I played with higher stakes, and even though I won many bonus rounds I didn't have like to score another huge win with $2-$3 spins. It's a special thrill to play slots with higher stakes!

There is a loyalty program and we get WEFT tokens for leveling up, we also get higher cashback and staking limits, and daily spin gives higher prizes (also WEFT tokens).

...and the buy and sell prices are both 0...

Yes, same here, it'll get sorted..

I have the same issue. Yesterday I wanted to buy some FUN tokens but it shows all zeros. It is the same today, I hope they will solve it soon...

Dang, after some long time of crazy luck gambling, I finally lose quite a bit on the wagering. Happened during the Bonanza period just before the weekend too lol

No complaints, lesson to be learnt as usual, you always go big and then it bites you back, but I have a lot of hope for the GTs, 3k+ tickets and counting, it's never been this high before and just 60+ days to go Smiley

That's the thing with wagering, it's always crazy gambling with a lot of ups & downs, taking huge risks in short period of time, and chances for busting the bankroll (or big part of it) is always in the air. One of the reasons I don't participate in daily/weekly wagering wars anymore, the same lesson was learned too many times.

Well, 3k GT's is a lot of tickets! It's time for that awesome prize to come into the hands of someone from this forum. I am cheering for you!
378  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do You Believe, "Passive Investors Make More Than Active Investors?" on: February 05, 2024, 08:27:45 AM
~snip~
However, I've read what Warren Buffet (an American businessman and philanthropist, widely considered the most successful investor of the 20th century) thinks about short-term investing, which is quite negative.
By the way, he also thinks BTC has no intrinsic value and cryptocurrency is just gambling.

~snip~

Day trading can give you more profits compared to only holding your investment for the long term but there are always more risks for you to face on day trading. More profit will always be tempting but if you don't have good analysis you will make your hard work money become lost in vain. Warren Buffet already missed the train so no wonder he will be against to Bitcoin,  those who can't accept the development of the world will only complain that new technology is a scam, gambling, useless invention, etc.

Day trading is risky, I am not sure there's anyone who always makes a profit with day trading. People win & lose money so it can be very stressful in the long run. And there are no guarantees that you will end up with some profit, I experienced that when I thought I could day-trade. I made a profit here and there, but I had too many losses and bad calls, so day trading is not for me and I realized that not everyone can do it.

Quote
“If you aren't willing to own a stock for ten years, don't even think about owning it for ten minutes.” Warren Buffett

I guess it's what passive investing is. You choose what you think it's good and you just hodl no matter what! In the end, it can pay off big time if you choose the right project to invest in. And Bitcoin is for sure one of the best-performing assets. I had more luck and I made more profit with some of my long-term investments.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "loaded slots" scam on: February 04, 2024, 03:40:10 PM
Well, yeah, a physical slot machine can be rigged, which is a scam, but are you sure the digital or online slot machines are not rigged either?

The "loaded slot" is not a scam, it's more like a myth. It's a belief that we feed ourselves. That feeling exists in other games as well, the feeling that some big multiplier is coming after a long time, like x100/x1000 is near... In slots, that feeling is more pronounced, at least for me, after 50-100 spins I have the feeling that the bonus round is close and that the bonus round will be very profitable. It happened that the bonus really came and was very profitable. But a lot more times the bonus came and didn't give anything, or didn't come at all.

We all feel different things when we gamble, sometimes we are too positive or too negative, or however we feel. But all these feelings can and often do deceive us. It does not necessarily mean that something is a scam if we expect too much and get nothing.
380  Economy / Gambling / Re: MetaWin.com | The First WEB3 Casino on: February 04, 2024, 12:44:41 PM
Hi iv4n - yes, the lack of welcome bonus/no deposit bonus is certainly something we have considered. Reality is, with our focus on web3 and the frictionless wallet signup, any deposit/welcome bonus would be abused immediately - this would then force us to work with wagering requirements, withdrawal restrictions, account bans or similar to manage the impact. All things which we believe do not contribute to a great experience for most players.

Instead we focus on providing the best web3 experience, along with monthly tournaments, daily reel races and free-to-enter competitions that directly reward loyal players.

Thanks for the nice explanation, I believe that all sorts of bonuses can make a real mess, too many people like to abuse them. I guess it can be even trickier with wallet signups, I didn't think about that.

Focusing on directly rewarding loyal players is a good thing for sure. I like the way your casino looks so I will probably join and try to win some prizes. I wish you lots of luck and success!
