361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Teaching children Bitcoin is not in vain on: February 11, 2023, 08:13:28 PM
Teaching them at the tender age is a very good but if the child can handle the three domains of learning then the child is good to learn bitcoin but if is not, you have to wait for the child to matured cognitively. And the three domains are.
1. Cognitive
2. Affective
3. Psychomotor

The child must have the ability to understand the information you giving. And also he or she must have the flexibility to carry out activities.

We must educate them
Of course it's not a good thing if you only teach Bitcoin, that's a stupid act as a parent in my opinion, basic knowledge about other sciences must also be given to our children as a counterweight to how children think and make decisions in the future, in terms of cognitive, affective and psychomotor must be very concerned about the development of children at the age of exploration, we do have to teach them bitcoin but having the right time and plan is a wise decision for the development of the child too.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: Important tips to note when considering switching career path. on: February 10, 2023, 04:20:11 PM
Pretty hard to give advice without knowing the specifics. But in general, there's nothing wrong with leaving a job that pays a good amount for a job that pays less but you're far more happy in, as long as your finances won't take a hit due to the salary decrease. While one might pay more, you need to watch out for your happiness and your mental health as well.
Now that is the wisest decision that can be made, we just don't focus on the nominal salary, but when we are at work we also have to focus on our happiness and mental health too, because that will make our days more enjoyable at work so that productivity work will be very optimal if our mental health and happiness are fulfilled even though basically the salary we have is lower than before. There will be a lot of positive values when we prioritize happiness and health at work rather than working with a high enough salary but stress on happiness and mental health will be dangerous for the future which might make you a person stressed by that job and become a madman later.
363  Economy / Economics / Re: The world continues dumping US dollar (Gold, New World Order, World War III) on: February 09, 2023, 01:43:26 PM
Speaking of US dollar and whether it is reliable (liquid, savable, spendable, etc.) you should also consider that US economy is in a terrible situation itself and things are getting worse every day. It may not show up in form of hyper inflation like elsewhere but it is showing up.
The gigantic $31.5 trillion national debt apart, the US trade deficit is growing at an alarming rate. It is estimated to be almost $1 trillion and growing as US dependence on imports increases as the domestic economy slowly falls apart.

For example US depends on $500 billion imports from China alone (with a deficit of $350 billion in 2021 and $383 billion in 2022) which they keep covering by printing dollar that is losing value rapidly even though the price doesn't show it.
So by all standards we should say CNY is more reliable than dollar at this point!!!

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/07/business/economy/us-trade-deficit.html
Yes, even though we see that the United States' economy has experienced a very significant decline due to several problems that today are very worrying to review.
For the CNY itself, in my opinion, it is not enough to replace the US dollar, yes, even though economically China itself can easily recover from its downturn due to Covid 19 which has made the Chinese economy worse, but as we can see there are still many who use US dollars.

Speaking of other things, sorry if I don't get into what is being discussed, but here I feel strange about the dollar, as we know that the dollar in terms of the exchange rate for goods decreases but the exchange rate against other countries currencies actually increases, as in my country, which used to have a dollar exchange rate of $ 1 = 14,000 is now 1 $ = 15,500 but economically my country is growing well until today.

365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will it be profitable for the business? on: February 08, 2023, 10:16:20 AM
Suppose I am doing business through an online Facebook page and website and want to accept Bitcoin. But now if I look at cryptocurrencies it comes with high volatility, and I have doubts whether accepting Bitcoin will be profitable for my business.
I really want to know your opinion on this and what are the initial steps I should take if I adopt cryptocurrency for my business? Because I see many people on the forum are taking steps to accept Bitcoin for businesses and that's why these questions araised in my mind.

it will be very profitable, moreover, you will have a lot of support from the community for your merchandise, volatility issues must be considered because it may be a measure of loss or profit in your business, I thought so for a while. But maybe what can be a solution for this is that you have a benchmark price with a relatively stable value even though the payment uses bitcoin, just like you adjust it with the fiat currency in your country or the dollar to set the value of goods and even so the payment must be in bitcoin. To protect your money, you may, when someone buys, exchange it directly for stablecoins or direct fiat currency to continue the production of your merchandise.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: February 07, 2023, 04:22:22 PM
Manchester city is not getting any points from the match against totenham. I see no reason for arsenal to feel worried about that. Manchester city will be getting sanction which will make the club faces very serious sanctions. Arsenal is having the biggest chance to win EPL. Manchester city will not become a problem again for arsenal. Arteta was giving applause for kane as he was making arsenal's position still safe at this moment.
So many arsenal fans were praising kane as savior for arsenal. City is facing another big problem. I hope that city will get big sanctions caused by it was doing so many shady things.
I have not been following up with clubs news recently and I was worried to hear that you said that Manchester City is facing sanctions and I am a kind of interested in knowing what their offences are, getting sanctioned at this stage of the season is a bad omen for the club but what will be will definitely be.
I trust Manchester City to face every obstacle with their shoulder high and come out of it with a lesson learned to avoid future occupancy of such offences that will warrant sanction.
I also haven't updated on this before, Manchester City turned out to be getting unpleasant allegations regarding Financial Fair Play (FFP) financial problems, which maybe this will have the potential to expel Manchester City or reduce points in the English league, but is it possible for the team Big names like Manchester City can be touched on that easily, considering that Manchester City is very influential in the English league. Maybe my prediction is the same as Jordan, the owner of Crystal Palace, that is, if there is fraud, the English league committee will sanction points deductions which might end up the same as Juventus in Serie A.

368  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How I decided to buy some fractions of BTC after discussion with members here on: February 06, 2023, 02:21:39 PM

You decided to jump because of strangers telling you to jump?
Although I am happy for your decision to invest in Bitcoin or crypto,
I think you should also understand the risk  on your investment and, don't take everything seriously you invested because a lot of people are saying bullrun so what if it isn't a bull run?
What if the price drop down would you blame the forum member who talks about bull run and told you to invest on it?
But it seems that the OP made a wise decision to first ask the people in this forum to finalize his decision to invest in bitcoin, which maybe I feel happy sharing information to consider about making a decision, I don't think so as simple as you say, I believe the OP also considered that.
Judging from the current position the market is still far from ATH, of course it's not a bad time to make a decision to invest in bitcoin, in fact, faster is better for the current phase because the market hasn't fully recovered to continue its increase. Regarding the ups and downs that attack the scales and the OP blames the members here, I don't think he has any reason to blame people here because we only share suggestions and opinions, the rest is his own decision.
369  Economy / Economics / Re: Rich Mindset vs Poor Mindset : 6 key differences on: February 06, 2023, 01:28:30 PM
They work differently because these two poor and rich people have different views on the future.
Rich people spend their money on something that could give them returns or profit while poor people spend their money on something don't have. They don't afraid to risk their money because they believe that it works fine and with a plan. But poor people don't do it because they already think about failure and losses.
Your argument is wrong, if you say the poor buy things they don't have, do the rich always buy things they already have?
When it comes to profit, they will always buy it for their benefit.
When it comes to future outlook, I'm sure they also want a happy ending.
In my opinion, why do people become poor and rich because of their mindset about how to manage finances, no matter how little or how much money is managed, people who are good at financial management always maximize their money for developing their business, whatever they buy is definitely aimed at smooth running or productivity in business or work.
IN my humble opinion - in most case - Rich people would spend their money for their purpose that could give them returns or profit while the poor people are struggling with their bills  spend their money on something don't have.
That is a form of practice that maybe I personally cannot blame what you say because there are some people who are like that, but in terms of the purpose of taking advantage I have said that they take the same goal, namely for their own benefit, both the rich and the poor. in terms of spending or fulfilling bills, it is true that poor people are always pressured by this, but in my opinion, if a poor person has a far-reaching mindset for a better life, they will try their best to get out of that zone.

Sometimes friends also greatly affect our responsiveness to shopping, especially if it's a good friend from our past, of course I feel embarrassed if I shop with him or spend money to have fun with friends I haven't seen for a long time. Indirectly we will be forced to spend money even though we ourselves don't want to spend it. the financial management that we have gotten along with seems to have no limits when it comes to meeting with friends let alone for fun. and sometimes it's true as you say when we have a lot of money myself sometimes feel manipulated by what I have.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Shiba inu get to $1 on: February 03, 2023, 03:35:44 AM
Can shiba inu ever get to $1 in the next bull run or more years to come??,  though nothing is impossible, but i don't think it can get there,
And is the project still good to invest in?

Of course being 1$ is impossible especially at the current price for me it is very difficult for shiba to reach that price unless every year the supply of Shib is burned 50% per year in my opinion it is more possible than waiting for the price to become $ 1 from mass adoption from both retail and institutional investors.
I haven't found a utility or technology used by shiba as a crypto coin besides being a funny coin and following the hype, even though basically the community is large and the ecosystem is starting to form but other than that what else can be taken from the technology?

374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My greatest fear about Bitcoin Halving. on: February 02, 2023, 01:55:53 PM
Bitcoin halving is characterised by price boom and this is a general believe of some bitcoiners and members of this forum.
My greatest fear is; what if 2024 halving comes and go without any kind of bull run? Don't you think that there will be a serious problem and panic in the industry?
I don't think it's going to be a big bang the volatility will be the same in general as it was years ago because no whales have that many bitcoins and again the investors are in different countries in different time zones definitely not going to be a boom down like you described, secondly there may be bitcoins that have lots of bitcoins for the next 5-10 years not for the 2024 halving.
Talking about the bull run, there must be like what we saw in the last 2 weeks of January, I think that includes the bull run, I think the bull run will go like that.
375  Economy / Economics / Re: Can commodities return to its price last year? on: February 01, 2023, 12:34:27 PM
Inflation rapidly increased this year. Basic food stuffs like egg, oil for cooking, meat, and fish here in our country almost doubled compared to its price last year. I'm wondering if it's possible that the price of commodities will return to its previous years. If so, how or what will cause it to happen. It's just scary to think that our money continues to depreciate over the years. Will there be a time that will come where average earners like me won't be able to afford a basic life anymore.

As far as my experience goes, commodity prices will not return to their original prices if there has been a price increase, even though basically the supply of goods needed has met the initial standards before the increase, the average trader will take advantage of this moment to increase income, especially direct retail swords. dealing with consumers.
I am also like that, just worrying about how two or five years from now, is it possible for me to still be able to eat my fill from this average income. but that doesn't mean we have to stay in a coconut shell, you have to try and find other income opportunities to support you and your family's needs in the future.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin threatened by digital dollars? on: January 28, 2023, 09:16:59 AM
CBDC or DD is a representation of fiat currency that is tokenized I don't think it will affect Bitcoin one bit, basically now everyone thinks that bitcoin is an instrument or alternative investment and digital dollars don't have that, because it's only fiat currency digitized, even though bitcoin aims to replace fiat, the public view makes bitcoin an alternative investment.
Looking at it from the bright side is when all Americans and the world are accustomed to using blockchain technology maybe which will make it easier to access bitcoin to the public.
What will be affected here is in my opinion stablecoins such as USDT, USDC and other stable coins, maybe people will switch from using stblecoins to digital dollars or other CBDCs issued by the government.
377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Advantage of accepting bitcoin in business on: January 27, 2023, 03:42:15 PM
Making bitcoin as a payment alternative besides using fiat currency is a good decision to introduce bitcoin and intrigue people around your target market who don't know bitcoin and will increase bitcoin adoption in the future, both domestically and abroad.
But it's not good if you only accept bitcoin as a means of transaction because bitcoin adoption is still low and of course it will hinder financial circulation, unless your environment and your target market on average know bitcoin and use it.

For example, so people may accept bitcoin to show support for the technology or to do transacting business with people overseas easy or maybe because of the zero-transaction fee.
I think transaction costs are not zero but they are cheaper and faster than using fiat currency, especially when making transactions using inter-banks both domestically and abroad.
378  Economy / Economics / Re: Keeping money and keeping bitcoins? are they similar? on: January 27, 2023, 01:35:24 PM
The massive awareness to keep bitcoins for as long as possible promotes people to develop the attitude of saving, just like saving money. Do you agree with this that people who are very good at saving money become very good at keeping bitcoins when they finally start doing cryptocurrency? Or do you feel that there is no similarity between keeping bitcoins and keeping money?

The principle is the same, namely the goal is to accumulate money or wealth in the long term, but this is of course different because when we save fiat it cannot be said to be an investment because there will be no profit that will be obtained in the future, it will actually eliminate the exchange rate of money in the future because it is eaten by inflation, while saving bitcoin, of course, provides benefits in the long run because the exchange rate continues to rise as we have seen from the introduction of satoshi to the world until now.
Indirectly that this is different even though the principle is the same, namely saving.
379  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are Your Kids Aware Of Bitcoin? Teach Them. on: January 27, 2023, 10:23:40 AM
May I ask how early? Surely, you don't mean that you will start teaching your children in their primary years because that would be futile as it will sound gibberish to them. Besides, in their generation, surely they will know bitcoin at an early age as it's becoming known already and it's hard not to see it on the internet and make them curious what is it. Just let them do what they want, our role is to be their guide.

Once they are able to understand what financial education is all about and knowing that we operate in a digital age, kids now appear to be smarter than we can ever imagine. Kids start watching cartoon at early stage and they end up understanding every thing they saw happened there I think is not a bad idea if our kids get to know little things about Bitcoin from primary year's, a kid of 6 to 7 years should be able to read and write also operate the computer so giving them an early information is good so that once they get to 10 years and above no one will deceive them concerning the right things to do with money. Let them play as kids but let them know about bitcoin I believe they will be willing to know more even from that early age but don't  pressure them to know it.

I think if teaching bitcoin at the age of 6-7 years, it is very tiring, moreover they will be confused by what is explained in the end they will not be interested in bitcoin, the methodology must also be planned how the child can be interested in learning bitcoin so that the child can focus in learning, of course all knowledge about bitcoin needs to be refined first to be taught to children who are still at an early age because in my opinion children of that age are not easily attracted to things that make them dizzy and boring.
Playing and learning is always effective with color combinations to make children more interested in learning, I think we can make bitcoin imitations for the early stages as money in their play zone while you explain their use, like playing trading using bitcoin imitations, I think it will improve children's interests and knowledge.
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you like commission job or salary base job? on: January 26, 2023, 04:31:42 PM
Currently I still rely on salary jobs because I am still about 4 years old graduating from school, many offers to be able to get a job commission and if we compare it with salary jobs, of course, the Job Commission is greater, I have friends who work as marketing property and rely on the job commission and him Can earning around 2 to 4 times the salary I received.

Commission work is indeed interesting to get a high income that can even be ten times, but I think if it's sales it might not be consistent especially if in a business that has lots of competitors you have to really consider it before going into commission work and you also have to take it into account with your ability to sell, many of my friends are like that, they show high income from commission work at first but after a few months they say stop because the competition is very tight and they can't meet sales targets like at the beginning they worked.
