361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss and Trailing Stop Loss in Spot Trading on: February 20, 2024, 09:31:57 AM
Hi when I want to open a position in spot trading I dont see the option to set up a SL before opening a position (this is possible in futures)

Is there any exchange that offers to set up a SL before entering a trade in Spot?

There’s a different ways to do stop loss on spot market compared to futures market. Spot market doesn’t give you the same mechanics of stop loss on futures market because you are not trading with contracts but rather spot.

Trailing stop loss is the most common way to do stop loss on spot market. You can see this feature when you choose what kind of order do you want to initiate (in the field contains limit order, market order and other order type). You can read the full guide on how to use trailing stop loss here https://www.binance.com/en/feed/post/690908
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game will you choose for one shot big bet? on: February 20, 2024, 08:59:46 AM
Wanted Dead or Alive by evolution gaming. It guaranteed x20 minimum multiplier if you correctly bet on the winning number while it can grow on insane multiplier if there’s no number card being drawn on the deck.

I usually bet on half of the choices then let big multiplier hits. I have 50% chance on winning the base bet x20 plus whatever extra multiplier it can grow depending on the outcome of the game. Either way you have a chance to break even and win huge amount by just betting almost a 50:50 chance game that supposedly x2 multiplier only on normal games.
363  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Bitcoin Fee Observer Thread in USD(sat/vB) on: February 20, 2024, 08:42:21 AM

364  Economy / Gambling / Re: Withdraw ''instant'' isue on Freebitco.in on: February 20, 2024, 01:59:18 AM
Has anyone else encountered issues with withdrawing BTC from freebitco.in? I initiated an instant withdrawal and paid the fees, but I haven't received it yet. Any advice or similar experiences would be appreciated. Thank you

I’m pretty sure that you already received your withdrawal since freebitco.in use high fee for instant withdrawal.

Just an FYI for next time. Withdrawal is instant on casino only which means they sent your transaction in the blockchain immediately but you will still need to wait for the blocks to be mine before your transaction be processed which is not in control by the casino. This is not an issue by the casino but the waiting time for the blocks to be mine. It took sometimes an hour before a blocks mine even which means you will still wait that period even if you use the highest fee as possible.
365  Economy / Gambling / Re: tell me the best online casino on: February 18, 2024, 10:52:41 AM
Unfortunately I don't consider those features to be the best gambling site for me instead I considers sites with reputations as simple as that. Most sites could have you with whole lot of attractive features but doesn't stand by it.
I hope OP hasn't been influenced by anyways maybe by the so ADs or the social influencers because it is ridiculous to me searching for a particular gambling sites with this whole features but if there is an existing, then I wish you all the best. Let's keep up rolling with the risky games. Lol

The criteria that he mention is not for determining best casino instead the OP is just asking for the best casino that offers this kind of feature. The word best here is pertaining to casino that have the preference that he mention.

New casino offers this kind of feature while the old reputable casino still stick to the basic rakeback/cashback system to reward players. They just have a seasonal promotion that gives extra rewards in spins, freebet or cash prize but on daily basis like what new casino doing.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling addiction lead to domestic violence? on: February 18, 2024, 10:20:23 AM
I remember an incident that was discussed here in the forum where a grandpa kidnapped his granddaughter so that he could get ransom money from his son/daughter that he would use to pay his debts and gamble with the rest of the money.

Fortunately, he was caught but incidents like these show us how gambling addiction can lead one to do evil things just so that they can continue their gambling activities. So, it's true that a gambling addict can be a threat to a society.

Can you give a reference link to this story because this is satanic level of gambling addiction. Resorting to this kind of violence is already off the chart compared to family violence inside the house because you will never know what will the grandpa can do to the child if the ransom money is not paid just because the son trust fully his father that he will not hurt the grandchild which is not the case for a people with extreme addiction like this.

Does the grandpa was caught by the police or he voluntary surrender after realization of what he did? The most grave result of gambling that I witness is just a broken marriage and not to this level which the same family member kidnap his own grandchild.
367  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe is it letting the bank know that you are a BTC Investor? on: February 18, 2024, 09:42:06 AM
Question please: was the official question on me necessary? And was it wrong of me letting her know that I am a BTC investor? My conscience just keep saying "Hello man, you fucked up talking about BTC out there".

The answer depends on the policy of your bank towards crypto. Most of the banks follows the country law towards crypto so if your country is totally against Bitcoin then expect that banks will do the same.

In my country during the early days of Bitcoin. Bank usually freeze account of users that involves on crypto trading since bank account has a specific use that user declares upon opening an account while crypto is new that time which is not in the scope for bank use. But right now bank already adapts on the use of crypto that’s why there’s no issue anymore if your account is connected with crypto trading.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 18, 2024, 08:56:19 AM
I am quite lazy to try new casinos, because of the comfort and approach with new casinos, maybe I am comfortable with the casino of my choice, there are some because one casino is not enough because I don't find complete games and features, that's why I registered at several casinos, I'm not interested in new casinos except under certain conditions

I believe most casino offers almost exact games. Maybe they lack some game providers but it’s just minimal and not worthy to change a casino just because of this missing game provider. Sportsbook is the games that usually missing on a casino before but now almost all casino including new one has it. Only Bitcasino is the only long time running casino that doesn’t have Sportsbook because they have sportsbet.io to handle sports betting.

Games is not the biggest factor anymore for changing casino but rather the VIP benefits given to the players because casino usually sent generous rewards to newly registered player that’s why many user is tempted to try new casino.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why mega threads always be kept open on: February 18, 2024, 08:40:05 AM
Mega threads kept open for long time, in this gambling discussion and the main gambling section I do see a thread that from the first to ten pages all the discussion answers has been given but that thread continues moving whereas all the questions been asked in the thread majority has answered it, why mega thread in gambling section, when you calm down and read some of the trading style or method you can see that some points made us is not longer in line with the aim of the thread.

Because same thread will be created again in the future for the same subject that’s why Mega thread with objective subject always keep open by the moderator unless many user already reported it as spam.

It’s better than being lock then another thread will be created just because another user ask it while the thread for that topic is already lock. This is not only happening on gambling board but on all board in the forum especially the Bitcoin discussion board. I think this topic is more suitable than meta because this is not specific topic for gambling.
370  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals!|ARGENTINA & AVFC on: February 17, 2024, 05:13:33 PM
This was posted on Duelbits Telegram and X accounts :
Quote
Dear Duelbits Community,

In response to the recent posts, we wish to assure everyone that all Duelbits customer funds and accounts are safe and secure.

Our ETH hot wallet recently experienced a security breach, resulting in the unauthorized withdrawal of a small amount of our ETH reserve (~1700 ETH).  We have alerted law enforcement and are working hard to address the situation.

However, we want to reassure the Duelbits community that the security of user accounts has not been compromised and remains our highest priority.

Despite this unfortunate incident, all our services continue to operate smoothly and without interruption.

Funds are Safu 😉

It’s a very unfortunate incident for Duelbits facing such a loss, to me 1700 ETH is a very big sum and still a big loss for my favorite casino. The good thing is players are not touched and nobody is facing any losses or breaches towards their accounts or wallets.

However, these cases seems to be avoidable since we have witnessed many similar cases with different casinos and crypto services. Is there a problem with the wallets and withdrawal system or it’s the security system that has many breaches where hackers uses and can’t be avoidable in any case?

I’m glad to see that many users didn’t even notice this which means nothing really is effected but still the team cleared things quickly and are dealing with the hacker to recover those funds and in worse scenarios it’s just a small loss and a notice to secure things more not just for Duelbits but all other crypto casinos.

This level of transparency makes Duelbits more reputable than ever. As you already mention, players don’t notice this while Duelbits can just hide it to avoid panic to players yet they still decided to become transparent on the issue and assure everything is fine. Although that amount is huge but we all know that Duelbits usually provide larger than that amount on their giveaways which means they can easily recover it as long as there’s still a lot of players trusting the brand.

Honestly, we will never be informed about this issue if they didn’t make an announcement unlike what happened to Stake hack that was find out by 3rd party that’s why it’s spread like a wild fire on the social media.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you stick to some Casinos or do you try out new ones? on: February 17, 2024, 04:18:57 PM
I challenged him that there were exciting offers in these new casinos that he's missing out on but he stressed that he was not interested in their offers, he has already built his gambling life around these few casinos and until they disappoint him, he's sold out to them.

what do you think?. Do you believe he is right with the rigid approach to gambling?,  also should I continue convincing him  to try out something new and enjoy these great offers?.

Your friend is doing the right thing. If he is already comfortable and happy to the current casino service that he is using then there’s no need to try and explore others looking for the exact same thing of service which he is already comfortable.

Gamblers on change casino for few reasons. It’s either they already have problem on their current casino that’s why they are already not happy or they find new casino that has better service. But if a gambler already find a satisfaction to the casino he is using then there’s no point to try others already. Worst possible outcome is he will be scammed by a casino that offers too good to be true promotion.
372  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Philippines SEC will Ban Binance. Effectivity End of Feb. 2024 on: February 17, 2024, 03:41:33 PM

Ewan lang talaga kung ma implement nila agad yan since yunh cornhub nga *sinadya ko ibahin for censorship* di ma block ng gobyerno gaya nga ng sabi ng iba. Siguro mag succeed sila at earliest of implementation but magkaka access parin talaga ang mga pinoy dyan.

373  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Post quality matters than replying fast on: February 17, 2024, 03:28:02 PM
I've took noticed that alot of users are always in a hurry to reply a post expecially newbies, I know it is a good strategies to always try to make your reply to be among the first or at least fifth position, because it would make it easier for other users to see and to read it. But in a scenario whereby a user came across a post and reply fast without having clear understanding about that post such reply may be seen as off-topic or not contributing at all. And if such act continue as your post are always around the first-fifth position it may lead to you being ignored by other users.

I’m posting to reply or interact on opinion that is interesting for me. I don’t have any intention to make my post visible to others because that’s not my target response. You should create thread if you want someone notice your opinion assuming that there’s no same topic exist.

If this quick response is for the visibility to get merit then it doesn’t increase your chance of getting merit because it’s still about the quality than visibility besides there’s a merit thread to report post which you can still get merit if your reply is on the last or middle page as long as it is a quality post.
374  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots 101: Basics, Strategies, and Discussion (with poll) on: February 17, 2024, 11:53:54 AM
@mu_enrico is there a way to determine what slot provider that is currently hot on giving frequent huge multiplier wins? This is always my dilemma on choosing slot game to play because I don’t have much experience on playing slot games aside from the popular pragmatic and playngo.

I’m just curious if there’s a website that records real time high multiplier win and has summary on what slot providers is generous for that day or month. This will help newbie slot player like me to easily choose slot games out of bunch of games available from different provider.
375  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Gambling winning streak on: February 16, 2024, 02:43:56 PM

376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What contributes to a casual gambler becoming an addicted gambler? on: February 16, 2024, 01:32:36 PM
  • Chasing Losses
If you have anything else then do write it down on this thread. This thread is only to help anyone who is into daily gambling realize the incident that led to compulsive gambling or everyday gambling.

Chasing losses is proven to me that a casual gambler can lead to compulsive gambling for a short period of time. In my case, I have a flu that affect my decision making that’s why I become compulsive gambler for a short time due to chasing losses.

Luckily, I manage to survive this dire situation. I stop gambling for a long time due to the trauma it gives to me that time. You can read my experience on the thread I created before https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5471636.msg63053425#msg63053425. I hope no one here will experience what I encounter before because I thought I already lost my savings instantly due to poor decision making.
377  Other / Meta / Re: Why is this account still very active and not restricted or ban? on: February 16, 2024, 01:23:28 PM
Aside from the tags that appears red on his profile are their no other means of stopping him from posting those garbage’s?

Just ignore him if you don’t like seeing his post. He recently spam the forum with his sales thread even on the board that is off topic. His account might get a temporary ban if continue doing that and worst is perma ban.

Besides, the user has a terrible trust score. I wonder who’s in their right mind that will deal to this user directly while escrow in the forum usually doesn’t accept anymore any transaction related to account selling. Using the ignore button is best thing to do since account selling is not against the rules of the forum.
378  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✨ Shuffle.com | The next generation of crypto casinos | Sports, Casino + token on: February 15, 2024, 03:51:15 PM
Anyone here knew what’s the calculation of the airdrop reward baed on the casino wager? I read the whitepaper but failed to find info about the distribution calculation aside from vesting.

Afaik there will be more airdrop from those user that will actively bet in the casino even after the snapshot and distribution. This is same with BFG tokens that they reward rakebacks in form of tokens.

I just hope that SHFL token will be consistent on buy back since this is the part which many casino with utility tokens failed to deliver. I’m excited to get my airdrop token on March.
379  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why in some religion gambling is forbidden? on: February 15, 2024, 02:37:50 PM
When we talk about religion we cannot dine the forbidden things like alcohol, prostitution and many other things in this topic we will discuss why do gambling is forbidden (Haram, interdit) .
So can you tell me why is it forbidden in your religion?
And for the non religious persons what you think ?

In my religion, it’s about greediness. Gambling will make you greedy and at the same time do other bad things when you are in bad game. I agree on this since not all people can’t handle the emotion when gambling especially when losing badly hard earned money.

There’s no direct mention of gambling in the bible but clearly being greedy is a sin that frequently mention in the bible and doing things that will make greedy and angry will just make you do more sin. As a responsible gambler, I believe I’m not doing wrong since the guidelines of the religion are for those who can’t do responsible gambling. Culture is also an important thing to consider since some country consider gambling as bad ever since due to its effects to the players because all know that the chance of losing is high on gambling while they should just use the gambling funds to buy their family necessities.
380  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be very careful and attentive when selling your bitcoins on: February 15, 2024, 02:29:01 PM
Hello everyone, I hope you are well.

I came to bring a case that happened in Brazil, an investor wanted to get rid of his bitcoins at the Novadax cryptocurrency brokerage (I've never used it, I can't recommend it, I'm just bringing the news). The fact is that he went to sell 1.7 BTC and generated a market sell order, with the lack of liquidity his orders were executed and consumed the entire order book taking the price to practically zero. He had bitcoins sold at 238 USD.

This is impossible to happened on huge exchange like Binance with huge volume on order book. That’s why it’s important depth chart to determine what’s the price with highest liquidity backing it aka as support wall.

The news is really sad because the user with huge holdings is very dumb and doesn’t care to do research first before he does the market sell. I’m not familiar with the exchange either but he can file a complaint about if the exchange has a huge trading and just suddenly remove liquidity right after he does the market sell on his holdings
