This project looks interesting and I like that it’s focused on football, but why do you think that this will be successful? How are you different than other ICOs in the space?
Hi GoBelle, thats a great question! We're different than other ICO's in the space because we are the first of our kind in the sports world. To date, there has not been another ICO that aims to create a financial infrastructure for a sports platform and ultimately for an entire sports industry. We believe we'll be successful because of this point exactly. In addition, the problem(s) we're trying to solve using blockchain and our platform will help both clubs, players, and fans! How do people from within the industry benefit by using Stars Group compared to the way they're handling it now? Right now, in the industry, clubs receive sponsorship, broadcasting, merchandise sales, tickets sales, and transfer fee revenue in different currencies, and at each exchange/transaction point, the club loses money in transaction fees. As we increase consumer interaction with the Stars Group Platform, we intend to utilize the platform internally for intergroup player transfers and international transactions. This would benefit clubs and owners because it would automate the process, and ensure that the transfer is made on time, for the agreed to amount with a single currency, eliminating the currency exchange. That actually does sound really useful for people in the industry. What kind of fees would they have to pay to use your platform instead? Users will have a small transaction fee when they make purchases on the platform using STARS tokens. I'm guessing the exact % hasn't been nailed down at this point? |

The ICO has been cancelled not because of anything but because the allocated tokens to sell has been sold out just before the sale begins, so we can expect that their development plans will continues and the distribution to the investors and those bounties will soon begin.
Let's wait for their official announcement.

So can multiple people contribute their tokens toward a single bounty?
I think this would be essential. Allowing people to pool their resources to make huge bounties for very important tasks would be too good to pass up. Yes, definitely. Not yet in our first release, but in a future release we will add the possibility to crowdfund bounties in any ERC20 compliant token. That's awesome! Is the pre-ICO already over? If so, when is the next good time for me to get in? The token sale is not planned yet, we first want to have a release on mainnet. This platform is so simple, yet deceptively complex. I hope they pump a lot into advertising, this could be huge. 60% Development, 35% marketing, 5% bankroll. So 35% of 4000 ETH? 1400 = $1.7M marketing campaign, not too fucking shabby! |

On Telegram they are very active. Supprised to see how small this thread is to be honest when telegram has 5000+ members in channel! The administration will not resort to ICO for the distribution of ICG. Rather, the coins are divided into equal shares among active members of the forum every five weeks within 250 weeks.
So after the 250 weeks there will be no more payout? That should be plenty of time to get activity way up though. As long as it's a good forum it should retain a lot of those users. |
