361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: January 19, 2020, 07:41:43 PM
I highly think that gambling is quite more scary than trying other things out. If you aren't totally into the world of gambling and you wish to try it some times for a profit, it is quite easier to apply for a job, than to spend money in gambling knowing that you aren't gonna win in a 100 percent chance. Though, there are people who still play because they are brave enough to accept losses in return of the chance to win allot which is the primary reason why it is addictive.
It will help you a lot once you learn how to gamble, it is for enjoyment and also to create money. But I am not recommending gamble to be taken as a full time job, you may only do it if you dont have any work that is needed to be done. To avoid too  much losses better not to gamble when you are tired and sad it will higher the risk of losing too much.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 19, 2020, 01:22:39 PM
This will be a boring to watch and we already know who will win obviously. Manny Pacquaio will kick Conor McGregor's ass. I'd rather to throw my money to watch these following matches:
I think , Manny will accept this challenge, I am one of his fan and I think he already think that McGregor will be a good fight for him, since it will be a unique because McGregor didnt start as a boxer but is now pursuing his career in boxing and creating a name with it, he is also one of the well-known martial artist with a great career in his field, it will be the fight of the year, but I will more prefer PAC vs Mayweather again ! this one will be the talk of the world.
363  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you hold on a trade. on: January 19, 2020, 11:58:45 AM
I'm not trading for a long time, I'm buying a coin and I'm planning to hold it long before I sell it. I tried day trading, short-term trading, but I only had losses and only a few times I made a nice profit, I lost a lot of money overall. It was a lesson for me after that, with long-term trading, I made a lot more profit. Now I'm just doing that, I'm not involved in anything that's short-term, when it's short-term it's a huge risk, and I don't want to gamble that much anymore. I'm literally just sticking to my strategies

For me, as long as I am trusting the coin that I am holding now, especially these two, bitcoin and xrp, these are the only coins that I am holding and continue to hold, maybe I will sell XRP first by June if XRP will reach my target price which is @4000-$4500 ,and I will sell bitcoin right after halving because I expected that bitcoin will go ATH in that event.

365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is the altcoin market being manipulated in 2020? on: January 18, 2020, 08:45:19 PM
Hello There!  Wink

At one time, I stopped being interested in the altcoin-markets because of the situation there. Famous projects were dropping their bags off to gullible investors to get even more money.

Do you think the situation has changed in the year 2020?  Huh
Is it safe to trade ERC-20 tokens and is it possible to earn something else?
ERC20 tokens are still safe to buy and trade with, there's nothing really change, even manipulation is still there, we need to understand that manipulation happens because of the whales in the market, they will made the coin pump or dump because they are holding the bigger amount of it. We need to hold it too for us not to lose with their manipulations.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you prefer to hold for more than a year? on: January 18, 2020, 04:36:05 PM
For long terms, Bitcoin is the best bet.
It has a very viable and realistic prospects that it will continue to lead other tokens in the coinmarketcap.

You can then look towards litecoin as perhaps an alternative, but then dyor and don't get carried away.
Above any other coin in the market , bitcoin will always be the best coin amony other coin and still the best coin to be hold this year, when you buy bitcoin last year there is a big profit now if you will see how much the bitcoin now will be, as well as bitcoin is having a halving this year. The next coin that I am holding is XRP  and this two coin is good for me.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless projects! on: January 18, 2020, 03:25:58 PM
It's hard to know. Personally, when the project enters an exchange, I immediately sell their token. Therefore, I did not follow their development. In fact, I often forget any projects that I follow. https://icodrops.com/ico-stats/ (based on what I read on page 1) Only for projects registered with them. For small projects, it is certainly difficult to trace.
Sometimes, if I see that the project that I am working with has no good developers support and I think that they will not take months to stay in the market I will sell it immediately once they have been listed, but some of them, I am monitoring their progress thru their official website, twitter account and sometimes in the telegram account for me to know if the project is still profitable or useless.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How NOT To Get Scammed on: January 18, 2020, 02:06:03 PM
If you want to avoid getting scammed by the projects or any offer in the internet or even in real life then you should study the basics of the project that is being offered to you. There is nothing wrong in believing on what other people says to you but you should verify or double check all of the information that they have told you so you will see if they are just lying or not.
Yes indeed, better to study first all the basics and all the team's offering in order for us not to make any mistakes or get scammed. We need to be sure that the project we are joining whether it is a bounty campaign or an ICO/IEO we need to be aware about everything and we need to research what they has been saying in their whitepaper.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Using Crypto at Gas Stations on: January 18, 2020, 12:32:46 PM

thats a great idea, excellent use case for blockchain one day id say! Smiley   i guess, yes, the only problem would be hacking :O
imagine the sketchy shit people could do, form evil shit, to simply getting free gas
of course, ATMS still run on Windows XP and thats considered an acceptable risk, so maybe a few hacks would be as well Tongue
some projects claim they are working on ways to verify, like checksums, smart contracts, so maybe that wont be an issue tho one day Smiley
That could be great idea, it could be a great business if we use blockchain in many establishment, I am sure the first company that will adopt this one could have many clients and investors that would like to buy their system since this is a unique one, and yes even in ATM there are a lot of it in the market, crypto payment will be like what we are doing using card transactions, and we chat pay and so on.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoin Price Be Good In 2020 ؟ Is it true? on: January 18, 2020, 02:33:24 AM
If you see, the price of Altcoin went up very high in early 2018 and then the price of Altcoin fluctuated in 2019.
Now in 2020, people are expecting the price of Altcoin to go up. If the price of Altcoin goes too high then it will be very difficult to buy.
Some people say that cryptocurrency is a digital currency, we cannot calculate its value because we cannot accurately estimate the value of cryptocurrency / Altcoin. We can say that when people give bad news about cryptocurrency, people get upset that they sell their currency.
We are all expecting bitcoin to be good as what it has been last last years ago. We can see the market last time that it shows early signs of bull run , I am not an expert but I think, it happens because of the halving rumors that can be happen this year , but let us not conclude since we are at the first month and only in Q1  ,  let us buy more altcoins and hold it.
371  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Much Money You Need To Win To Stop gambling, Is This Possible. on: January 17, 2020, 11:05:13 PM
No one will ever stop their gambling activity if they are keep making more and more money.

Money is the only thing which never satisfy a human no matter how much they have got, even after they got money which can't be spend in their entire life time won't stop them from making money.

So having a money limit to stop gambling won't work.
Honestly , it is very hard to stop, since we all know that when you already creating a money no matter how you do that will be very addictive, you will never stop playing and gambling because you felt the joy and emotion  , and you will think that when you play it will satisfies you, the thing you need is moderation and control in yourself so that you will not be addicted.
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: January 17, 2020, 09:49:16 PM
It will surely bring a lot of money but I would not suggest that this fight is good for Manny, he is still active in boxing, I think this kind of fight is only good when he already retired in boxing like Mayweather.. people love entertainment but hopefully will choose those who are real boxers and has the title so his journey will continue as one of the oldest boxer in the world that are still active and winning.
I think yes it is very possible to happen, since boxing is about business also, many people will likely to have this fight since if I am not mistaken McGregor is a mma fighter and not a pro boxer. Im sure tickets will be sold out in just hrs of waiting, but since McGregor is new he will not make his early games with a defeat ,let us just say that I am a Pacman fan, he dont want to have a  lose stat now.
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's in the game, after all? on: January 17, 2020, 04:07:46 PM
To be explicit and begin with, by gambling I mean playing only the games of chance (think dice here), i.e. games where your skill doesn't matter, where the outcome is determined by luck alone
(......)
For me, in gambling, it's not totally luck alone.
It also comes with your emotion doing in gambling, like in trading, has risk management.
What is exactly meant and understood by this "personal enjoyment" generic category?
Yeah, quite confusing this but for sure, it's totally something self pleasure when doing gambling, more entertaining our ownselfs

Self satisfaction is sometimes the reason why people gambled. They can feel the joy and contentment when they play, it is somehow a challenge for them too it makes them to think wisely and make some good analysis, it is effective on me too. But if I feel that I am not in the mood at all, I will not play I am keeping myself away from the laptop or any devices that can use to gamble because it is not good to play when emotionally unstable.
374  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Want to learn trading on: January 15, 2020, 10:26:12 PM
I recommend that you read books of market speculators, since technical analysis can be learned anywhere, it is first that you learn to analyze the market, that you learn the phases, that you understand how it moves and the possible causes, most of the academies They teach the same indicators.

Among my favorite books, I recommend: Wyckoff, Livermore, Warren Buffet, which apply to the Stock Market but are equally applicable to the Bitcoin market. Once you start to understand the market, if you study technical analysis anywhere, on YouTube there are many free courses.
That is what I am recommending to my friends too! I start reading books about candlestick, macd etc when my uncle lend me his book, he is a stock market trader by the way, and till now I am learning on it, with the help of youtube and news from twitter sometimes, I can now know what will gonna happen in bitcoin whether it will be pump or not  , I am not using any bot or joining signals group, I am learning by myself.
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a bullish sign as halving approaches? on: January 15, 2020, 04:42:39 PM
We can predict so early as this might be the start of " bull run". A lot of coins are performing well which is great to see, I think this is a big opportunity to buy BTC and hodl for a while hopefully the next anticipated move can make a big change. Crypto is the future for sure guys there is no doubt on that make plans accordingly before worrying.
It is possible yet we cannot jump into conclusion since halving is not yet happens. We need to wait for more days before we could say that this is now a bull run, the only thing that we can do now is to hold our coin , wait for the market and wait for the bull run. Market is very uncertain and we need to wait more time before we sell it.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose DEX? How to avoid scam? on: January 15, 2020, 02:03:19 PM
L I would use IDEX and Forkdelta. Although the transaction fee is quite high there and IDEX is quite time consuming to trade, it is mandatory if you want to sell your shitcoin. I am a bounty hunter and when I receive my token, I often use Forkdelta and IDEX to register and sell it to those who need it. that's one of the main reasons, besides, I don't like DEXs because it's lacking in functionality and lacking in speed. I am used to using CEX and I swear I will never use DEX again.
Agree with you mate, I am using IDEX for almost years since I join bounty signature , I am earning altcoin for years and their exchange is either IDEX or Etherdelta, but later last year I stop using etherdelta, but when I do, I am using a third party wallet called metamask to secured my eth wallet in etherdelta. I dont have any problems with idex. How to avoid scam? Just trust to the most mentioned wallet stated in this thread.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 15, 2020, 10:41:27 AM
ICO terminations in 2019 were unimaginably inadequate contrasted with 2018 August and October both had none, while January 2018 had 160 projects. All things considered, 2019 projects raised additionally funding on average $6.8 million contrasted with 2018 $132,000, still ICOs are losing popularity because of

1. Concerns with funded projects
2. Regulatory hurdles with selling the tokens
3. Crypto bear market
One of the reason could be, investors dont want to invest in ICO nowadays because of what has been happened last years and it can affect the whole market. I think most people think that ICO/IEO is not yet profitable and many of them are scams, but I believe its not. And there are many fake teams with fake projects everywhere and it scams many people.
378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Altcoins not Growing These Days on: January 15, 2020, 07:56:37 AM
The reason altcoin isn't rising these days may have been due to excessively hyped 2017 Bull market.  So when the price goes beyond its actual value, there is a tendency to go down until it reaches its actual price value before it rises again.  Another thing during these hype years is the scam ventures. Most investors have been scammed, so the next wave of investors is likely to be somewhat reluctant to enter the crypto market before they recover their trust in the crypto market.

What happen in the previous years  really do affect the price of bitcoin together with other altcoins, many investors lose their trust in the market and pull out their investment, maybe instead of crypto they put that in forex or stock market, many ICO are being turned to shit because lack of investor and lack of support of the devs.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quality or Price? - which one you look when buying altcoins? on: January 15, 2020, 03:17:26 AM
Hi I'm not a technical guy and I really want to invest in altcoins. Fo you guys which do you guys prefer in this time when buying your altcoins?
Do you still like to buy those under rank cryptos that low price or you preferred to buy those on the top? Or do you prefer projects which have constant project development and updates that still build even though they fell from the bottom? Or you skip those low satoshi altcoins even though they still have great developments?

And if you can give me some idea too to where I can research project development statistics and quality of altcoins. Sorry for my English?
I more prefer to buy a coin with a good quality or having a very much potential rather than buyin a coin just because it is cheap, I am looking for the long term investment so if I see a coin that having a good potential and could give me a good profit in the future even it is not cheap at all I will buy it. Quality must be considered among other else.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy bitcoin with credit card on: January 14, 2020, 10:46:20 PM
There are a number of exchanges and websites where you can buy bitcoins with credit card but buying bitcoins with credit cards might be fatal to start trading. Credit cards charge you a percentage of fees for making any purchases and few peoples might find if beneficial because you can make higher profits by trading with bitcoins and can easy pay off those interest charged by the credit card companies but this is what might make you land into loss.

You really need to be a experienced trader in order to make fixed profits and buying bitcoins with a credit card is actually a risk for all the peoples who newly start trading because price change might also land you in loss and you might not even be able to pay the interest along with the principle which you borrowed from the credit card facility.
Indeed , I think I saw that in kucoin or binance? I dont remember but I saw it, and I did not recommend it. We all know that having credit will make us miserable due to interest that we need to pag aside from the money that we lend. Instead of using credit card why not having a savings so that you may buy altcoins or bitcoin  from that.
