361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think mining is still fair on: December 22, 2018, 02:41:25 PM
I seriously doubt it mining could be profitable .Not even Genesis mining can sustain it
Some altcoin may bring profit but btc mining is not profitable if you are intending to cash out as soon as the money gathered most of the miners are also waiting for price bump by the way. however many people also giving up mining as a result the second hand VGA flooding the market.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon launches blockchain product on: December 22, 2018, 12:22:40 PM
They are just taking advantages of the efficiency of blockchain and there's nothing else behind that, this thing definitely will make blockchain more popular around people but will not really affect the whole community that much since most of the people who uses that product are nerd anyway.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think that Bitcoincash will replace Bitcoin on: December 22, 2018, 12:10:45 PM
"Improved version" LOL, don't you know that bitcoin is also being developed furthermore? there's lightning network that make bitcoin fee down to almost zero. sideblockchain and many more. Can't say bitcoincash is improved version of bitcoin will majority of coin were hold by the founders lol.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs? on: December 20, 2018, 10:24:12 PM
Well i say yes! Currently there are so many projects with similar goals and visions and some of them even don't have the needed capacity and resources to see to the success of the project but yet still competes with the capable funds when funds are being raised. This has also increased the number of scam projects in the cryptospace and this is really tarnishing the image of crypto investment. Let's not forget that if men were angels there would be no need for laws. I am not talking of a Centralized Regulating Body but we can use the concept of masternodes and run a decentralized ICO regulating body. Let's explore all the possible ways of how we can actually curb this menace in the cryptospace.

Regulation seems to have a positive effect on the development of the market. But it opposes the very idea of blockcain and BTC. They must be independent.

Regulation has both pros and cons in this industry. I doubt cryptocurrencies will develop better with regulation than without finger of government. Decentralization will provide better opportunities than traditional banking methods.
Crypto will be better with regulation, imagine having no regulation people will throw stupid ICO and make their own version even if that's doesnt make sense because it's just too easy to create that and also money grabbing.
Regulation is good if it's not too much, they are just trying to prevent money laundering so that the project you invested to is legal.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO WE NEED TO REGULATE ICOs? on: December 20, 2018, 06:33:43 AM
It looks like the ICO has reached a level where investors have completely lost interest in investing. It is possible that the regulation will not be needed in the coming months.
This is a fact that most people recognize today. Surely, we can only say that today people would like to invest only they are simply afraid that something can happen. We are waiting for new events that will be able to change the market.
Most of those who invest before already losses their trust as how the market showing right now, we do need more assurance to avoid being victimized by those scammers who's haunting around, this regulations might help if being implemented very well and if the project is for real surely they won't be bothered just in case this will happen.
You have correctly identified the problem. Today, our problem is scam projects, there are a lot of them today, and it is they who today discourage all desire to invest in projects that we like, because these projects can be scam projects.
there is such information that STO, which will be controlled by the state, will replace the ICO companies. In this case, cryptocurrency investments can be safer.
There's no difference between ICO or STO, even if you are using STO (Security token offering) and your company still not yet registered and follow all of the guidance toward how to make your ICO or STO being compliance with all of the regulations and it will be useless. That kind of rebrand
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best investment of the decade on: December 19, 2018, 11:43:42 PM
I like this attitude.
Bulls make money, bears make money, pigs get slaughtered.
Unlike most emotional posts here, yours make sense - you're not one of the pigs.
We can profit from both bull runs and bear runs, as long as the market is predictable enough. For now it is.
But that depends on how to manage our funds. Most of the losers are getting a big loss because they can't even manage their funds properly. Both of the trends can generate a lot of money if we can try to manage it properly. That's i call that as smart work.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The market is green today from 3.1 to 3.7K BTC, will bull reconnect? on: December 19, 2018, 11:37:36 PM
I had seen the best green today, from 3K to 3.7 price of BTC market is moving up as well with the altcoins. Will the bull ready to run? Or trying to give signs that it is already ripe to go up? What is your thought?
It will but it must break a lot of resistance toward 4k value and when it can happen and then bitcoin can reach $4500 easily dude. I thought that this bullish trend make sense but be careful with a little correction that may come as soon as a possible dude.
368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: December 19, 2018, 10:31:56 AM
We all know January always the though months for cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin has just started to rise. I don't know it is real or only an another trap for price fall.

What do you think? Are we ready for rise? And Is it really good time for rise?
We are ready for the rise because this almost a year and we see nothing happen with the price of the cryptocurrency. It's a real bullish trend and it's not a bulltrap and i guess wait for tomorrow and you will see that will get another jump again. When people will rush to buy bitcoin and then it will be so easy to jump.
369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't Believe The Trading Volumes On Most Exchanges on: December 19, 2018, 10:25:26 AM
It is probably based on a troublesome research published a few weeks ago. Proportion of wash trading volume is especially scary in low volume and Chinese exchanges  Embarrassed
There are some chances of adjusted volumes still contain fake volumes too. Look at bitforex that was a horrible exchange site i have ever seen in these days. Chinese exchange that doesn't apply trade fees can be manipulated to easily.
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you worried about the latest crashes or do you stay calm? on: December 19, 2018, 10:22:08 AM
Hello,

I want to know how the community thinks of the recent crashes. Although most of the altcoins and bitcoin are already on the rise again and made lots of gains, if you look at the big pictures cryptocurrencies took a big hit.

What do you do in a situation like this? Do you invest in more stable coins and token or are you more of a hodler and wait for the downtrend to be over?
I have bought when bitcoin price reached the bottom price. I have been putting more money on altcoin or EOS and i have been getting more than 35% gain from my initial investment just in a week.
The downtrend looks already ended and you can't even predict how long.
371  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The rise and fall of stablecoins on: December 15, 2018, 11:07:58 PM
I think that stablecoins have a big potential. Many famous exchanges announces creating their stablecoins, like TUSD or GUSD. I think that whales have been waiting this for a long time.
It seems that falling price of solid coins turn the stable coins to have better future and have great potential. There many stable coins that really have potential and I guess its worth to invest in stable coins than to the unstable coins because I guess in stable coin you can control your losses.
When we say stable coin like USDT, it is not worth for investing because it is promptly a stable value of a dollar only, it is just like your money in the pocket not gaining any profit on it.
We are not talking about invest in USDT, fiat is more preferable than it but it has used to secure our profit dude. Didn't you know about that? Crypto pegged with USD is not created for investment purpose but to provide the best way to secure the speculator's profit.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to Ether? on: December 13, 2018, 10:31:39 PM
ethereum will continue like this before they make major changes that guarantee the security and openness of their platform, the smart contract they provided has many problems and it made him lose many investors

Indeed, lots of investors loses money due to their bugs and exploitable code.  I hope the upcoming update won't have any exploits that hacker can take advantage in stealing investors funds.  I also hope they do not oversee these possible bugs on their upcoming update.  This new upgrade will somehow bring lots of hype if implemented successfully.
Lol you have actually created another joke about ethereum. Where is the vulnerability of ethereum blockchain. Any hacked case of ethereum involved the insiders and it never started from the bugs that exploited by hackers. Can you prove it rather than saying bullshit about that?
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it possible that ETH will recover? on: December 13, 2018, 03:47:52 PM
This continuous quarrel about ETH makes me think deeply about it. There are, not sure but I think, over 6000 cryptocurrencies over there and the significant part of them ERC token. This means there is a strong base coming from ETH. However, these projects create a dumping point for the ETH since their ICOs and sales are making with ETH. Is this going to be a strong ground but lower price vicious circle situation? Will there be a chance for ETH to rise beyond its ATH?

I personally don't think any token or coin will replace ETH soon but... There is a strong but here.

there are many improvements to eth, especially ERC20, the good news is that eth hard forks can make the price increase again, now it's good for fast buying and trading. yes that's what i think

ERC721 has already created as an improvement from the ERC20 token which means that was the complete version of ERC20 token. Hardfork of ethereum will give a little jump to the ethereum price. In fact that ethereum was getting a lot of impact due to the block reward decrease.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto fell into wrong hands in December 2017 on: December 13, 2018, 02:23:18 PM
Most of the people who joined the crypto community at the later part of 2017, especially December were not any real crypto investors. They just heard about the booming prices and decided to join and also make profit. They don't know the potentials of the blockchain technology and the future it holds and that is why now that prices are down, they have all left the market and its left the real crypto enthusiasts. They are those who are seriously doing panic selling over the markets
Most of them are seeing there was a lot of people being millionaires caused by crypto and then they were rushing it without knowing more or at least have some basic knowledge about the cryptocurrency itself.
They were amateurs who wanna become a rich person instantly.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Developer,team or community on: December 13, 2018, 02:21:23 PM
Who is more important to the living good life?
Head, Body, Legs or Bum?
Yes, of course all together.
Well, of course, all this is important, but we are talking about allocating importance. if the team is strong then it will be able to succeed in spite of the developers. For example, if some are bad, they will find others.
To create a very good ecosystem and we need them all. But the developers should be the main thing. I agree with you on this point just like when a good guy will have a lot of friends and just like that.
We wanna build a very good ecosystem and good developers should be the key.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should leave the market? on: December 13, 2018, 12:01:15 AM
A little discussion about the market. Do you have belief in this market? In my country, people are frightening when the capitalization is reducing dramatically, many of whom have drawn out from the market. And some experts suggest that people should only invest in 20 coins which have the highest capitalization, and stay away from the low-capital ones. What is your opinion about this?
Everyone has their own decisions that they think are right to do and most people when they see the market fall and fall they will start to panic and be disappointed because what they want is not appropriate and most of them will choose to sell all the coins and leave.

But they should remember if they will try to leave the market and then they can't even do anything with their money. They have been getting permanent lost and there will be no chance for them all to recover their money dude. that's what i thought about that.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why ICOs impose a minimum amount on investors? on: December 12, 2018, 11:49:12 PM
I am not talking about the private sales and pre-sales. I am talking about the main sales.
Don't you think ICOs should allow people to invest any amount of money they want? It will cause the tokens to be distributed among more people.
Assume that 1000 people are participating in an ICO and each of them is investing only 1 dollar. Don't you think they are more helpful than a person who is investing 1000 dollar?
Better to consider a maximum amount instead of a minimum and do not let the whales manipulate the price.

What will happen if these stakes will be held by a single or a few people only? there will be a lot of manipulation in the market because it has distributed in a few token holders only. A few holders can manipulate the price of coin.

379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is proof of stake a scam? on: December 05, 2018, 03:00:11 AM
I like a few applications that are pos. One is waves and one is the upcoming ethereum. One, is both these currency offer decentralized exchanges. So how do proof of stake really a scam? Decentralized exchanges are good for the community.
Lol do you understand about what means of POS system? It's replaced the POW system which less conservative and it consumes a lot of energy because you need to secure the decentralized of blockchain through miners. In POS stakes will act as the miners and you should not feel worried about that.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stupid money on: December 05, 2018, 02:44:40 AM
A minor fall of BTC and stupid money goes panic selling.

Get it into your head:
-unless you have a really really really large investment in  BTC, BTC won't bring you as much profit as the best alts that have not already been too pumped up will
-BTC is not end all of all crypto. It is important but crypto does not depend on it
-crypto will not die, it will grow much much much bigger so stop panicing!
-if you chose good alts, you have nothing to panic for! If you don't trust you chose good alts, you shouldn't have invested in the firyt place
-buy BTC with FIAT!

But bitcoin has ruled crypto to be the main pair that used by the whole of crypto. I will not take minor correction as an important thing but those newcomers will think if there will be another huge drop for bitcoin very soon. This can't even be stopped dude. You should understand that.
