Hi Guys! How successful has anyone been with Staking? I haven't been able to generate anything yet. My staking weight is around 3400 and the network weight is about 27 million. I have 1105 onions in My wallet.
Can anybody that has successfully staked anything maybe share their experience? Thx!
The purse is included from the first day, on the account of 2400 coins, for all time. 0.02 0.42 0.34 0.36 False (someone ahead of me had time ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) ) 0.63 0.37 0.25 0.46 0.89 False 0.81 0.69 during all this time 3.99 Ah thanks. Well that is not too bad. Nice, having those 2400 coins already ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) . Will continue staking. Hopefully this coming Friday's airdrop will give me a further boost.

I have used the Tierion technology before and it is really great, but I still do not see the value proposition of the TNT coin. Even the first year, there will be no fees charged. How and why will the TNT tokens appreciate? Not even the CEO of Tierion could answer this question. Good luck for the ones that invested in the ICO though - I am just afraid you will wait a very long time before you will see any appreciation in your investment.

hmmm, never seen this project before, it looks very interesting. Was there an ICO already? I see tokens are on exchanges ... Must investigate further.. Is there any other way to buy into this project? Thx!

Hopefully someone can help?: I have my Onion wallet on my Macbook, but I only switch it on when I need to work on it. I actually want my wallet to stake on my Windows PC, which is on 24/7. My question: How can I move my onions from my Mac wallet to my Windows wallet (without being kicked out of future airdrops)? Or can on log into one wallet on any PC/Mac? I obviously do not want to send my onions from the one wallet to the other, otherwise it will be seen as moving more than 90% in one go, and I might be blocked from future airdrops? Any advice will be greatly appreciated ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Thanks! Get your private key from your mac wallet. Search OP and or community forums how to do that. Download windows wallet: insert private key, sync, stake. Thats it Aha! Fantastic! Thank you so much for your assistance - this will come in handy, will implement asap, then I can start staking on my Windows machine ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

I am a newbie and i want to invest a system computer to mining coins but i dont know what coins should i mining?
I guess this pretty much depends on which GPU cards you have? Are they AMD or Nvidia GPU's? Current wisdom says that AMD is better at ETH/ETC mining (Ethash) and Nvidia better at ZEC/ZenCash coins (Equihash). Then there are a number of other coins. A lot of coins you can mine on Nvidia with CCminer is better to mine with Nvidia cards. I seem to get pretty good hashing with my Nvidia cards on Etc as well as ZEC, so currently I alternate between them. It would be great to hear if there are specific coins that favors Nvidia cards to a high degree - I would like to target those coins. If anybody can give some pointers?

Dear dev and guys, I know that itīs not profitable the mining with GPU. Any chance of cloud mining?
I tried mining ONIOS with my 6 GPU mining rig (granted, only 1060 6Gb Nvidia cards) and it really is not worth it mining Onions at this stage with GPU's. It seems the ASIC miners are very efficient at mining Onions - a lot more that what GPU's are. So I would suggest that if you want to mine Onions, get an ASIC miner. Or even better - make sure you have 10 good quality posts per week, and qualify for the free airdrops. Much easier (and more fun ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) ) than mining! Lol! ONIONS for the win!!! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) how do you know it's not worth mining?? I meen, it's kind of hard to make that conclusion when you dont know the price for an ONION? If the price starts at 10 USD/ONION, i'd say it's profitable right now... True, it's not easy, while the value of Onions are unknown. But I spent half a day mining onions (with GPU's), and I only received about 0.3 onions for it. Thus, in my opinion, it was not worth it. Basically ASIC miners just kick GPU miners' butts all over the place with the X13 algorithm. SO rather mine something else with GPU's, and qualify for the airdrops for ONIONS ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Hi Guys
I was just wondering what you use to keep your mining rigs cool?
In my case it is just a single 6 GPU mining rig. Are a couple of fans blowing parallel to the GPU'S good enough? Any other, better solutions?
Thanks!
Ideally, have a big fan suck in fresh air that you blow on your rig(s) or int he room where you have them and have another that sucks the air outside. kinda the same way you would cool your house in a hot summer. Air needs to move in order to cool and for that, it must have somewhere to go so you need to create the low pressure (with a big fan for instance). imho, case fans in front of the frames aren't really super useful in an open air case anyway. Their CFM is usually pretty low. The problem is no so much that the GPUs get hot (above 70°+) since they can perfectly handle it, the problem is to cool the air of your room down, otherwise your cards only have hot air to work with. In my case, I had 7x 6 cards rigs in a 6-8 square meter room with only a 20x40cm hole in the wall to blow the air outside. So I got a large 60cm fan to blow in fresh air and bought 2x 7" car fans off of aliexpress (quite noise but high air flow) to suck the air out. The room still got quite warm, but at least air circulated. Also don't forget heat goes up, so put your rigs as close to the floor as possible. Air conditioning uses way too much electricity to be worth it for most home miners, unless their house/apartement is already cooled with A/C. Ah, this is some good advice. I agree - use physics to your advantage and suck in cold air (low to the ground). And then expel (suck/blow out) hot air closer to the ceiling. I only have a single 6 GPU rig at the moment, but thinking of adding more, so then I will have to try something along the lines of your suggestion, to have better airflow throughout the room.

Another thing, what you can do is buying graphic cards with back plates, then they are not passing heat to each other.
I have the following setup with my rig, but it does not seem to help a ton: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimage.ibb.co%2FmCZe2F%2F2g6_SEa3_Imgur.jpg&t=663&c=a8SjYibfPba1EQ) Aha, yes, that is kind of what I had in mind myself. I started off with just a single fan blowing between 2 cards. It seems to make a difference. But yeah, like some of the other guys have said - it seems playing with the power of the GPU's also helps. Looks like mining ZenCash vs ETC+sia also runs the GPU's cooler.

I am prerry excited, i hope i made it into this airdrop, it will be my very first, and most definitely not the last, by any means!. Yay! My wallet is ready, please send those onions ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) EDIT: I see when I check my status that it says "Accepted" - woohoo!

Lots of talk of exchanges, and yes, I would also like to see Onions on an exchange, but PLEASE don't list on Poloniex.com. What a crap exchange it has become. It is so slow, it takes ages just to refresh your Balances and Withdrawals page. Never mind trying to enter buy or sell orders. In my opinion, Bittrex is just WAY better at the moment. Onions FTW!! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

+500 ONIONsWe just sent +500 ONIONs each to our supporters who in the last 2 days positively talked about our coin in this and other threads, and supported strongly the dev team. We need a strong community to develop the coin together, and make our coin one of the best in the future. The 3rd round of regular airdrop will be according to the schedule. You can check from the block explorer http://explorer.deeponion.org/ if you expect some extra. And our reward list maybe not include those after we announced reward.Oh wow! This is just awesome! Onions just getting better and better! I need to go and check my wallet and see them onions. Lol! I must suppprt a request by one of the other members here, can you please start a Telegram channel/group? I also prefer Telegram to Slack. Oh no! No ONIONS in my wallet *SAD*sniffle* - I have made recent posts. Not sure what the criteria was to qualify? In any case - ONIONS for the win! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Wow, it seems mining is a bit of a lost cause on Onions ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) GPU mining is very slow - why did the devs decide on an algo (X13) that is not ASIC resistant? My attempts at GPU mining is just not worth it, sadly *sob, sob*

Hi Guys
I have started minion Onions on my 5 x GPU rig. All are Asus 1060 6Gb cards. I have no idea what a good hash rate is for ccminer/X13. Can someone please comment if my hash rates are OK, Good or Bad? I get on average, for each GPU (this is on Windows 10, with ccminer):
7522.85 kH/s
Thanks, much appreciated!
