I have another question guys. I haven't been able to get all 6 cards running on windows lately, it only allows me to connect 5. Does this OS illuminate these kind of problems or will I still have to deal with the drivers issues of the cards? Thanks!  |

Hey guys I'm trying to switch all of my rigs to this OS and just tried to download the image from the website but when I click the download image button all I get is a new page in the browser opens up with a bunch of gibberish stuff on it and then the whole browser just freezes! What's up with that?  It sounds like your browser is reading the file instead of downloading it. Try right clicking and saving the file. Indeed it was just reading it in Explorer! I've opened it in Chrome and it started to download just fine! Thanks for your tip! |

Kano, I just got woken up by a symphony of beeps from all of my 12 miners.  Looks like they couldn't connect for some time but now back to normal.  What had gone wrong? EDIT: Just checked all of my Ethereum miners and it looks like they were down as well. Apparently the local internet provider had a problem and cut off the internet for about 9 minutes. So never mind thanks! |

Hey guys I just got my hands on some XFX RX480 8gb cards and wanted to bios flash them. I know how to use ATI flash and Polaris but needed help to know the right timing. Do I copy and paste from 1500mhz or do I copy and paste from 1750mhz and down? Please help if anyone has had these cards flashed as well as maybe you have the best setting for them in afterburner after flashing to get the most of them. I would really appreciate any help, thanks! |

Hey guy I have 4 rigs running on etherpool and today 3 of them one by one just stopped reporting their hashrate but all 4 still work, it's just that 3 out of 4 do not report. Can someone please explain what seems to be the problem? Thanks! And I did restart the miner on one of them but it didn't help.  I noticed this as well, thought my miners were down but shares seem to be the same All back to normal now. |

Hey guys, a bit of an semi off topic question, but i'm mining with 2 S7's. My electricity is almost free.
Since the last diff increase and seeing the BTC profits halve every 3 months i'm actually thinking of quitting mining.
As getting a S9 doesn't seem to be a great ROI either.
Just selling the miners and hodling that in BTC seems to be more profitable in the long run than keeping them on.
Anybody else feels the same? Or am i just having a bit of fud?.
If your electricity is almost free I would recommend you getting a credit from a bank ( if you don't have the funds) and bumping it up to at least 100th and start making some money here at Kano!!!  |
