361  Economy / Speculation / Re: should i buy or sell today on: September 15, 2017, 08:04:48 AM
I am struggling making money with bitcoin trading, what is today's outcome?
This is completely personal opinion and not a suggestion. Looking at current status, crypto rate is free-falling with great low and greater low being achieved every now and then. At this stage, moving bitcoin to somewhat less volatile currency is advantageous. Once market is stable move back to the bitcoin.
Other way is to do kind of micro trades with other more volatile cryptos.
362  Economy / Economics / Re: dropping value on: September 14, 2017, 08:33:20 AM
Everyone says "hold, buy as it won't be as cheap as it is now" but once China officially announce that crypto exchanges are banned (in few weeks IMO) then it's price will be $1000 or less. Better sell it now.
The reason why others are stating for 'HODL and if possible buy as much possible' is that we have seen bitcoin rise strongly from each problematic situation. Everytime bitcoin value plummeted its recovery was way more stronger. Just check the price trend of bitcoin you will understand the point of view.
There was time when many were believing that china-markets were ruling bitcoin world. However that POV has been changed since last year or so.

It has a big bad impact on the bitcoin value, because bitcoin investor will decreases if that happen, more people in china stop to used bitcoin if all exchange was getting banned.
This will indeed set a bad example for countries which were/are seeing bitcoin as enemy to their economic-control. Here China was and may be is one of biggest marketplace for bitcoin. This ban may be followed by others in future if they sense threat.

We cant really blame them because there was another news that they ban ICOs in china. Maybe this is the result of that banning. Most government would see btc as an economic because it is virtual. They really dont have a full control of any virtual currency so i guess they may start there own virtual currency so that they wont be left out in this kind of investment. Maybe they banned it because they already have there own virtual currency.
This makes sense when one observes how online trading/shopping happening in China. Everything is connected by single chinese government controlled app. At this point bitcoin is posing threat to this control. Nothing wrong on Chinese govt part as they are trying to get everything in line. They may introduce their virtual currency as it is less hassle and easy to administer.
365  Economy / Economics / Re: China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: September 13, 2017, 06:30:15 AM
China is a huge market of cryptocurrencies. Their banning of Bitcoin exchanges will definitely have a negative impact on the market. Market might experience a relatively large dump. But market as always will ultimately recover and will come back on track.
Indeed. If you see the immediate effects are visible. The bitcoin price has tumbled below $4000 and may continue same path for few more dollars. Best part is bitcoin will rise higher and grow stronger in its recovery. We have seen bitcoin doing that again and again. Every fall in price is followed new and higher peak price.
Thus in way this is great time to buy bitcoin and earn profit when bitcoin  goes in bull-run phase.

367  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: September 13, 2017, 06:17:59 AM
This would be great. USD is used now for international trade and is under FED control. Bitcoin is on the other hand not under control from anyone. I would love to see btc used as basis for international trade.
- It is less likely to replace the USD with a crypto currencies. There are multiple reasons to it.
 1. FEDs will not let go their control over world trade.
 2. Bitcoin at this stage is NOT scalable to volume of trade between two countries let aside world trade.
 3. Though bitcoin as common currency is really great idea however when stakes are as high as world-control then FED will undermine anyone/anything trying to overpower them.

372  Local / India / Re: Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and a HashOcean clone called Gainbitcoin. on: September 12, 2017, 09:14:50 AM
There is a clone of the Hashocean scam cloud miner going by the name of Gainbitcoin, being promoted on Roger Ver's dead forum as an Indian service, hence my post here.

I call it a clone because when you follow Gainbitcoin Mining FAQ links, they go straight to the HashOcean site.
I call HashOcean a scam because obvious.

The main promoter of this thing is a crap referral site 1bitcoindaily.com. This site resolves to Kshitij Mehrotra, who seems to organize the Dehli branch of BitcoinIndia and authored the Bitcoin referral post.
Anyhow, he is claiming that Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar of 2014 HighKart.com fame is "the owner of Gainbitcoin". Does Amit also own HashOcean too, or just steal bits of their website? Or what?
Is he available for a comment?
I'm sure it's all a clerical error. Or something.

1. kindly Refrain from using yellow color in letters.
2. You put your money in above scam without any background check whatsoever.
3. Your coins are now in control on bhardwaj and you can not do anything about it.
4. All you can do is accept whatever gainbtc is giving you. And try to recover as much.

- You could file a complaint against promoter of gainbtc, as you are the one who has been cheated.
- This thread is not gainbtc problem solving page. This thread explores the dubious nature of gainbtc  offerings with valid points.

Thank you for your reply. I don't know what you are talking about by saying refrain from yellow color. I haven't written in yellow. By the way if you can see I am new here.  Am I asking for my problem being solved? Where is the question mark or suggest I want it to be solved. As I said in my post I am telling it is a scam and Tmfp is right from the beginning. I wish I had seen his post here. That's very clear in my post. I have enough intelligence to do background check or to know the difference whether this place Gainbtc problem solving page or not. Don't tell me what to do? We have already filed complaint with the law enforcement officers. I am here to tell my story and I am one of the victims of Amits scams and to tell Tmfp thank you for his post.
- If you have filed complaints with law enforcement officers then it is good. If it is possible then could you share some details so that others who have been duped will follow the suit in their own area (like you filed complaint in Gujrat then people from Delhi will also file case in Delhi'.
- About yellow color: I've quoted your post so that it shows exact status of post.
- About your "enough intelligence for background check", I don't want to comment on that as you are the one who put 8 bitcoins  in this scam after 'background checks'.
373  Economy / Economics / Re: Which one is good, trading or investing? on: September 12, 2017, 08:39:12 AM
i think both are good, but if you will be probably hit a long term plan. i rather recommend you go on investing. but please do conduct some researches and select an ICO which is really promising. If you don't wanna regret and cry for your money, do some good reads and research about the background of the coin you are going to invest to.
It is better to buy bitcoin and HODL them long than purchasing any ICO. Because there are lot of scam coins are released every now and then just to rake some money. Thus for reliable way of investment or trading compared to the ICO, bitcoin scores better.

Tmfp! YOur post has been made in 2016. I gave my money to Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and his scammer team in 2017. I wish I had seen and read your post here. Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and his scam team falsify the graphs, manipulate prices at their different sites that they set up on the internet. I bought, payed for 8 Bitcoins from this scam promoters. I haven't received any Bitcoins except this month MCAPs which I don't want. They forcefully giving us MCAPs at a rate of $9 where actual price is $1.75. I don't want MCAPs. I would like these scammers to give my 8 Bitcoins I payed for but I know they won't. I got scammed by Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and his scam team.

376  Economy / Economics / China banning bitcoin exchages, good or bad? on: September 11, 2017, 10:51:21 AM
Chinese govt has decided to ban the local bitcoin exchanges. [1] This is pretty big news considering one of large market and mining firms are located in China.
Do you think this would affect  bitcoin world and bitcoin price in negative way or positive way?  Some say china is doing so because people are bypassing the banking system and in turn the government regulation using bitcoin.

377  Economy / Economics / Re: If Bitcoin goes up very high should i buy a house? on: September 11, 2017, 08:03:47 AM
If your funds are enough to get a house then why not go for it ? As you'll have your own place that no one can kick you out from and no landlord will make your life hell every 1st day of the month or wherever you throw a party at your place .
You'll spare yourself rent also , and if you travel you can rent it qnd gain some money .
Having a real estate property is a great investment because that is one of the way to have a stable income and offering renting service for that house will give you consistent income per month and you can live for free if you have enough real estate properties or investment that is generating income for you every month.
Moving money from bitcoin to real-estate is less appropriate. Considering returns available from the real-estate are pale compared to the bitcoin returns. Even now bitcoin has better chances of getting more returns than the real estate.
Buying a house with bitcoin is good idea if person wants a house to live in.

Right... If somebody wants to live in it, is ok though. Meanwhile I think he can also cash out some high percentage and then allow the rest to keep appreciating again. From the look of things, I think he invested a very long time ago so he can cash out some and do other gains rather than just leaving it there. Meanwhile, the reason people get into investment is to have plenty money and keep moving and investing in other things.
Correct! Moving investment from one tool to other is indeed important. Same thing mutual funds do. Here important part is moving investment to more profitable instrument is correct, given the situation, moving bitcoin to real estate is tedious compared to moving bitcoin to dollar.
378  Local / India / Re: Amit Bhardwaj/Kumar and a HashOcean clone called Gainbitcoin. on: September 11, 2017, 07:57:51 AM
Hello All ,
I am also almost duped by this company.
I decided to take back the refund back in April and since then because of one or the other reason they are delaying the refund.
I have more than 10 BTC with them.  Since they didn't pay in time (before 31st July) they also took away any chance for me to take the benefit to get Bitcoin CASH as well (at the moment even my original BTCs are at risk) .. Off course I feel that they may never pay back my investment as they have missed all the deadlines in the past.
They are still saying they will pay.... but what are the options you guys can suggest to try to recover my refund ??
Look forward for some advice ? or any Return of Experience like mine with gainbitcoin ?

Since this gainbtc scam is a classic-ponzi, there must be leader or someone at the top of chain who lured you into it. You need to convince him to contact his higher peer to look into it.
This is NOT a place for refund or problem solving place. They are providing mcap as returns on investment. You might be aware of cashing out process. Chances of getting return is uphill task considering bitcoin has hit $4000-4500 mark.
10btc is some what ~ Rs. 2,654,000. That is a huge amount to invest in ponzi scam.

380  Economy / Economics / Re: Is trading just educated guessing? on: September 07, 2017, 08:00:09 AM
Trading no need educated guessing, it needs information in the right person. Information is the most important in trading . Second is Researching. Educated is unnecessary.
Having right information to right person does not guarantee success. It also need the correct timing. Unless there is some insider trading it is impossible to get correct information at right time everytime. Best example is slide of ripple, few months ago ripple was ridding very high and had huge capital and was second largest crypto after bitcoin. This bull run suddenly halted by news of very large chunk of ripples flooding market  and at the same time poloniex server was not responding to ripple related trades for minutes. This caused one of the biggest bloodbath in ripple history. Price dived down so sharply that people invested one bitcoin worth ripple were left with 0.1 bitcoin.

Thus trading is educated guess unless person has very large reservoir of coins to manipulate the price at will.
