361  Other / Meta / Re: 14 merit bonus for quality users [Jr to Sr. Member] on: March 02, 2018, 08:57:00 PM
This is a very good thing to do, sir to limit the number of people who always complain about merit and they said, that they write high quality posts and didn't' got any merit points, Anyways, I hope that my last 20 posts are good enough to get the 14 merit points. I will try my luck here.
362  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Exchanging mined BitCoins to other currencies on: March 01, 2018, 06:07:13 PM
There are a plenty of sites that allow you to exchange your bitcoin in any other cryptocurrencies. I recommend Poloniex as a great platform for trading and one of the best exchange, I say that because of the low fees when you exchange your bitcoin to any other crypto. In addition, it's too secure and quick when we talk about transactions, you can do the exchange in just a few seconds, and the procedure of deposit and withdrawals can be handled in a few minutes.
363  Other / Meta / Re: DOES BAN APPEAL WORK ? or Just SHOW OFF on: March 01, 2018, 05:51:08 PM
I think this message will show when the account got a Permaban. I bet that your friend did something prohibited here in the forums, Like copy and pasting or something that deserve this BAN. The only way to recover your account, of the ban is to reach theymos, but it's too hard to do that because he is too busy to do more important things.
364  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do You Have Any Fear Bitcoin Might Crash Someday. on: March 01, 2018, 05:39:03 PM
There has been plenty of speculations from the past saying that bitcoin is eventually going to crash especially with the rate of how the price has been performing. Since bitcoin is said to be unstable, many are expecting the market will crash in the near future. As an investor, it is everyone's fear for a crash to happen - and not only with bitcoin. Even with other investments, there is always the fear for a crash. It cannot be avoided to have a little fear since our money is at stake.
People have the right to fear because they put their own money in an investment. There are a lot of investment fields, but when we talk about crypto, we can say that the market is too fluctuate, so no one can trust the market after this high volatility of price, but personally, I believe in cryptocurrencies, especially bitcoin and I know that one day bitcoin will achieve a high price so people who invested now they will be millionaires.
365  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Effects of Gambling on: March 01, 2018, 05:32:53 PM
As I can see, gambling gives you nothing but a full of negative things specially when you don’t know how to control yourself. Gambling is risky, you must know it in the first place but people forget that and keep on playing until they can’t control their self anymore. OP have point on this and generally speaking gambling is a game of fun but in a risky way, better to weight your priority first.
That's really true, Gambling is one of the riskiest activities to get profit, It's not guaranteed, everything they're based on luck, especially games based on random ways, Like dice. I don't recommend it for anyone who want to make money, Honestly, I am a gambler and I didn't play it for money purpose , I just play only for fun. So for anyone wanting to make money through gambling, think twice and be careful.

367  Other / Meta / Merit system helps to find out alt accounts on: February 26, 2018, 11:26:10 PM
At recent days, a lot of users are already abusing the merit system by sending points to their alternative accounts, Now you can find the "Reputation" section is crowded with those members. The idea about this system in the beginning is to improve the forum and eliminate shitposters, This one goes well for now. In addition, with the help of this system we can find easily alt accounts who always abuse the system and cheat in signature campaigns. I think this is one of the deep things of "Merit system".
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you sick of cliche trading advice? on: February 26, 2018, 10:51:25 PM
OP, if you're new to bitcointalk you might not be aware that there are these things called signature campaigns, where businesses rent out members' signature and/or avatar spaces, and some of the campaigns pay enough to finance a pimp lifestyle for those who live in 3rd world countries.  It's astounding.

My point is that a LOT of people here are only posting because they get paid to do it, and a lot of them are uneducated knuckleheads who have great difficulty stringing words together so that they form coherent sentences.  The end result is that they learn how to write a small number of thoughts, and a lot of them are ideas they've copied from places, and none of it is original or interesting.  That's the main reason you keep reading the same shit over and over.  I think of this forum as a bullshit words reconstitution factory, because that's what they all do.  One of the cliches I see very often is "Never gamble [or invest] more than you're prepared to lose", which should be obvious to any rational person, but these shitposters find it necessary to write this in thread after thread.

So that's the main reason why, OP.  Others might disagree with me, but this is the truth as I see it.

Unfortunately, all of this is true. To be honest, I think more than 70% who posts in a couple days in a week are already in signature campaigns. They don't care where their posts and what they said, The most important to him is to write a lot (It's doesn't mean good posts, All of them are shit posts) and get paid.

They don't care about the forum, they are too greedy and think only for the profit, people like that, should be all tagged. They don't make any effort to write a good post, At least if anyone poor in English, he should post in local section and try to improve his English in the same time.
369  Other / Meta / Re: Is the Merit System Generating Enough Merits? on: February 26, 2018, 10:36:35 PM
I don't need merits to rank up, but I do need sMerit so I can give merit to other people.
Being a "nice guy", I'm actually getting much less merit than I'm giving away.
I'll sooner or later run out, which is unfortunate, since I tend to reward people who make meaningful contributions to my threads.

This is the reason why Hero members and legendary members need to receive merit so they can distribute it all the same as other members. I imagine in a few months time or a year from now when we have an adequate number of merit sources receiving merit and redistributing it won't be a problem.
Maybe theymos will take a look about this idea, and increase the sMerit points for Hero members and legendary members (Which they are active and reputable), Or to increase the number of merit sources, which will be enough merit for each one to receive. Honestly, I didn't know how theymos choose the 57 merit sources, It's random or what? , I think there is some criteria if this is not RANDOM.
370  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Requirement for Member Proposal on: February 26, 2018, 10:26:55 PM
This is a good idea to add, but if theymos increase the merit requirement for each rank, then it will be more difficult for members to rank up, even for hard workers (I mean people who write high quality posts). Merit farmers are not longer stay in the forum soon, because they will be all tagged by DT members, it's a matter of time. I don't think there is any issues with the merit requirement for each rank now, maybe there is another idea which theymos think about can improve the merit system in the future.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: February 26, 2018, 06:19:16 PM
Best thread ever  Smiley

yup

good luck reading it all though
LOL, If he starts reading it now from the beginning, bitcoin will be on the moon and he can't finish this thread yet. It's a huge more than the manga of One piece.  Grin
372  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: February 26, 2018, 05:11:14 PM
Playing games online and gambling is not the same.
When you play online games there is the excitement but there is something that you feel which makes you incomplete. And when you gamble, you can play while having some bets which allows you to win some money.
Or to lose some money. You can't benefit anything if you are just playing some game online, but if you gamble in any kind of games you have the chance to get some money, but gambling is risky, everything depends on your luck. People do gambling rather than playing online games for profit purpose, this is why most of the people prefer gambling than online games.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poloniex is bought by Circle on: February 26, 2018, 05:00:23 PM
Poloniex is a great platform of trading. I got today morning, this news about the bought of Circle of the big trading platform. I used too much poloniex, it's one of my favorite exchange sites, i hope that it continue like that even after this news.
374  Other / Meta / Re: Stop Signature campaigns. I need theymos to see this. on: February 26, 2018, 04:36:50 PM
I don't think this is a good idea to remove signatures and bounty campaigns from bitcointalk forums. Promotion ICO in bitcointalk it's a good thing for all of us, the forum will be more active and people can enroll and promote campaigns and then they make money, Even theymos make money by advertising campaigns in this forum.
375  Other / Meta / Re: Merit Requirements too difficult to JR. Members on: February 26, 2018, 04:28:52 PM
Merit requirements are too difficult for people who posts useless content, It's not about ranks. Whether you are newbie or legendry, if you deserve some merit point, you will get it, even if you feel that your post seems to be a high quality and you didn't get yet any merit point on it, there is some member that can review your post and award you some of them.
376  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you thinking about the future? on: February 25, 2018, 11:19:52 PM
Have you ever thought about buying bitcoin for your children as a future investment?
Yes, I already had thought to buy some more extra bitcoin for my children as a future investment because I believe on bitcoin, I am sure that it will be more powerful in the future with an extremely high price. I always use a part of my monthly income to buy some bitcoin and keep it in my wallet, I increase the percent of buying these days because bitcoin price are dropped too much, so in the future I will make a huge profit because of that.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now a good time to invest in ICO? on: February 25, 2018, 10:57:32 PM
I think it's better to invest on coins that is already in the top - 10  to be sure rather than putting your money in great risk.
I agree with you, TOP 10 crypto are worth to invest in them, which they had a high potential compared to other coins, but sometimes we can get more profit if we invest in a new ICO project, If you invest in the right one, and get some coins, and the project succeeds, the coin price will increase highly and then you can get a huge profit with a low potential crypto which is not in the top 10.
378  Other / Meta / Re: why i do not have merit? on: February 25, 2018, 10:34:56 PM
My english is bad and I can not write creative answers Smiley
This is one of the reasons that not allow you to get any merit points until now. If you want to earn some of them, you should first try to improve your English.

I think there is some ways to get some merit even if you are poor in English. You can go to local board section and write them in your native language, in the meantime, you should try to improve your English and learn how to post high quality posts.
379  Other / Meta / Re: Ban Appeal on: February 25, 2018, 10:12:07 PM
Hey,

may I get the reason for getting this "Sorry soulofliberty, you are banned from posting or sending personal messages on this forum. You have been banned by a forum moderator. You may appeal here: banappeals-w6pquw43@theymos.e4ward.com".

May I also know, which forum moderator has banned me?

You are banned because you definitely break a certain rule here in the forum and you're the only one who could determine that (just be honest and admit your mistake). I'm pretty sure that moderators will not ban you for nothing, do you make shitty posts or spamming? Maybe that's the reason behind this because that's the usual reasons for getting banned.
I already saw his bitcointalk profile, and he didn't make shitty posts or spamming because he didn't post anything yet. I don't know why he got the permabanned. I think he already posted something wrong and then it was removed by one of the moderators and he got the ban.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best exchange to trade? Why? on: February 25, 2018, 09:58:28 PM
Would like recommendation on best exchange to trade on and reason why you believe the exchange is better than others?

I think poloniex will be the best for me, I highly recommend it for trading. It's been very easy to use, also deposit and withdrawals will do in just a few minutes, This platform support a lot of cryptocurrencies and you can buy/sell easily with a few clicks. I recommend it because the fees of exchange it's too low compared to other trading platforms like bittrex.
