361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where is Facebook coin going on: November 05, 2019, 11:05:01 AM
Recently there is lots of bad news are coming for fb coin Libra. In this circumstances what do you think Libra coin is going?

Libra is both dead and alive for now. Dead in the eyes of the government. Dead insofar as its estimated initial launching date is concerned. And dead as far as many of its partners are concerned. But for sure it is still alive as far as Mark Zuckerberg is concerned. The man will definitely keep the idea very much alive until the perfect time will come for the project to get out again and be launched. This is most probably just a case of a good project in a bad time for him.
362  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what going on crypto | THE FUTURE CASINO ?? on: November 05, 2019, 10:43:32 AM
i dont know what happen,please tell me if you know them !!!
I see from time to time now crypto is similar casino online especially the exchange..

What do you mean similar to online casino? If you mean the exchange, I don't think there are significant similarities between a crypto exchange and a crypto online casino. Sure, you can convert coins in crypto online casinos but it is far from the mechanics in a crypto exchange. In a casino, conversion of coins is not made through buy and sell orders where you can name your own bid and buy prices. You cannot also see pairs there. There are very limited coins in a casino compared to an exchange.
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE reaches 30sats! Do you think it could go higher now? on: November 05, 2019, 10:19:28 AM
Following its listing on BitMax, DOGE has reached the 30sats mark. Do you think it's the beginning of a bull run or it will go down now?
Doge is an alternative to altcoin that can be chosen for short-term investment or more precisely trading. Because the movement of such a large market volume in my opinion is quite strategic if we invest in Doge. Take Profit 1-4%. Doge own price statistics never reach a high of 100 Satoshi More. and I'm sure 50 Satoshi is pretty easy to go through

You are clearly not aware of Doge and the movements of its price. As early as 2014, Doge has already reached a value of more than 200 Satoshis, in fact it was even almost 300 Satoshis. That is almost three times the 100 Satoshis that you said will not be reached by Doge. Doge is reaching over and over again 100 Satoshis and above. 50 Sats for Doge is just a walk in the park if you look a closer look at its previous prices. Doge is good for both short and long term.
364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM is only potentially $ 250 in November. on: November 05, 2019, 09:57:30 AM
I predict the price of Ethereum until the end of November is only up to $250 at its highest point. even then, if two resistance of $209 and $225 can be achieved.

following as my prediction. what about your prediction?

$250 is a low prediction of Ethereum (ETH) within the month. I would put the price of Ethereum (ETH) within November at around $300 or beyond. The year 2019 will see Ethereum (ETH) with a four-digit price. If within November Ethereum (ETH) will not even reach $300, it will hardly get to that four-digit target by December. The whole crypto market is very bullish. By December, the numbers are very exciting for sure.
365  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is this news can affect to BNT price? on: November 05, 2019, 09:32:58 AM
About bancor:
Bancor (BNT) offers a marketplace that facilitates the exchange of cryptoassets that may otherwise lack consistent liquidity on exchanges.

in december 2019, bancor will be airdrop to all BNT holder, total value is equivalent to 10% BNT’s market cap at the time of the snapshot. (If the airdrop occurred today, it would amount to $2.0 million, based on today’s $20 million BNT market cap.)

source: https://blog.bancor.network/the-bancor-airdrop-is-coming-42d78709427f

So, is this news can affect to BNT price? beside the news above, currently the BNT price is -93% from ATH.

what do you think?

Wow, this is a great plan of the Bancor (BNT) team! I hope this will create a little more noise about Bancor (BNT) in the crypto world and give justice to the project. Bancor is a great project and has been in the market for a long time. But the older it gets and the higher the number of players enter the market, Bancor is slowly replaced with new coins. And now it is already kicked out of the top 100. It is far down much lower.

I will definitely read the article. I hope they will also offer the same to the BNT stored in the exchange wallets. Or does anybody know?
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Centrality" for decentralization? on: November 05, 2019, 09:07:25 AM

Have you taken your time to study the project?
You cannot judge a project by the cover (which is the topic), but by the content.
If you check the OVERVIEW of the project, it is still talking about decentralization. Which means their app will be decentralized.
Centrality might just be a caption, meant to bring together many DApps.

This is a wise answer, does not directly state a good project or not, there must be research done first. This project is an innovation that needs to be supported. regardless of centralization or decentralization. Centrality creates ecosystems that will easily connect. The new experience will be felt by the user. The important thing is this project can be useful or not going forward. If it is not useful this project will be destroyed by itself.

It is odd to just judge a project by its name. What's in a name? Nothing really but a tiny idea of what it is. It is not everything. Everything is in the details. And it is not marketing per se. It is not bad marketing at all. Neither is it a bad name. And the project itself is able to survive and even make it to the top 50 with that name. But the project is also affected by the altcoin winter. It has a high negative ROI until now.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Staking-as-a-service, Opinions? on: November 05, 2019, 08:46:47 AM
Hey guys I am not very familiar with the topic of staking and staking-as-a-service. But I just saw yesterday evening that SMART VALOR a Swiss crypto exchange started their staking campaign where you can either stake Dash or their native token VALOR.

They state that revenues are up to 6.9% for Dash and 15% for VALOR. Here is the link for their announcement:
https://news.smartvalor.com/staking-dash-available-on-smart-valor-platform/

What do you guys think about it? I think it could be good alternative for earning some passive income (if I understand the concept correctly) like interest back in the days bank used to pay some Grin

Lol. Reading this thread is like watching the OP play with all those who took the effort to respond. You are not familiar with the topics of staking and staking-as-a-service but you are very familiar with what SMART VALOR is offering using their native token VALOR? You deserve to get credit for shilling for this project with cunning style. Those all-caps words are making everything obvious. Avoid it. Lol. But I kind of like their services though to be honest.
368  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: BEGINNER TRADING BOOKS TO READ. on: November 05, 2019, 08:23:53 AM
If you know of a good book on trading, fundamentals, T.A. Please let me know the Youtube videos always want me joining there small group of traders that feel like a scam.

I been looking at videos and reading books for months, thought I check out what worked for crypto traders.

Books are great resources to get to know crypto trading more. But it is the harder way. I haven't read one myself. I know of a handful of people that are almost full time traders. If I am not mistaken, I think they are not reading books. I guess practice makes perfect. They studied a lot of tools and how to use them. I think it also adds that they are so into it like they are focusing on it 100%. It also helps perhaps the fact that they are also into forex and stock trading.

The internet has full of recommendations though. Just read their reviews first.
369  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Coins in Jan 2019 vs Nov 2019 on: November 05, 2019, 04:57:57 AM
$BTC = $3700 --> $9200
$ETH = $133 --> $185
$LTC = $31 --> $58
$XRP = .34c --> .29c
$BNB = $5 --> $20
$LINK = .30 --> $2.68
$EOS = $2.56 --> $3.31
$BSV = $89 --> $132
$BCH = $154 --> $294

MCap has 2x'd in USD & $XRP still ended up in the red.
what is your response to XRP?

Only Ripple (XRP) has incurred negative growth. This is directly caused by several controversies which Ripple (XRP) has found itself caught in the previous months. The centralized issue about Ripple (XRP) is an old one which I think is not the primary reason why the coin is decreasing in price. It is perhaps mainly due to the dumping started by the team itself which was followed by big and small investors. But the project will definitely recover from this.
370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Bitfinex a good exchange for trading? [Exchange review] on: November 05, 2019, 04:26:47 AM
Bitfinex has grown small instead of big over the years. The story of Bitfinex is somehow similar to Mt. Gox in that they were both at the top of their shapes as cryptocurrency exchanges at the time they were attacked by hackers. The difference is that Mt. Gox eventually died while Bitfinex moved on alive. But the trust of traders over their platform wasn't recovered, neither was the majority of the hacked funds. This is the reason why until now, Bitfinex is not as preferred as before.
371  Economy / Economics / Re: Private Coins from banks and governments on: November 05, 2019, 03:55:10 AM
Do you think that banks, governments and investment companies such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan and other will try to replace the decentralised coins and try to lure their clients to invest into their own private blockchains? What can be done to prevent that?

They can and they are. As far as I know, JP Morgan is creating their own coin to be launched soon. But this is going to be a futile act of competing against cryptocurrency, the real ones. They are the banks. Whatever they do, they remain to be the banks that are characterized by greed and manipulation. They will be stuck on that mire with a dirty reputation. They cannot just create their own coin and earn the trust of everyone.
372  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin demand in economically volatile countries surges on: November 05, 2019, 03:32:24 AM
Dont you guys think its kinda funny though for people in economically volatile countries to try to find stability using such a volatile currency like BTC?...At least if they convert it to tether or something.

Whats cooler to me is the fact that its a world currency and it can benefit people in countries where the value of their money is really low compared to the USD or EUR. People in less developed countries can work online for higher wages paid in crypto.

Tether may be worthless if the investigations into it prove they have no reserves.

Bitcoin is way more valuable because you can exchange it for real dollars, rather than the fake dollar that is Tether.

The controversy surrounding Tether (USDT) has not died down until now. Personally though, I have some doubts that the full 100 percent supply of Tether (USDT) is supported by reserves. Their supply is now reaching 4 billion plus USDT. That is an extremely big amount of money that Tether can support.

Bitcoin is indeed volatile and it might even be dangerous to the present condition of the people in these countries. But if Bitcoin will not plunge in value, there is nothing to worry.
373  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: could it be most project don't succeed? on: November 05, 2019, 03:09:19 AM
Token creation is really very easy these days small children can make their own if they wish to. This is how the token creation platforms are making the creation of token very convenient even to scammers and experimenting people who have no actual idea how to develop a real project. And since the promotion of such tokens in social media sites and even in this forum is all free, there is now a swarm of useless tokens offered in the market.
374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: there are still many who invest in cryptocurrency? on: November 05, 2019, 02:42:04 AM
as we know that in 2017 many ICO were successful (at least reached softcap) and of course the market cap was also very high at the time, so it proves that many people are interested to investing in cryptocurrency, but now where do these investors go? because now the market cap is down and many ICO or IEO are failing (not reaching softcap), are investors no longer interested to investing in cryptocurrency? if yes, where are they investing now? or is there a more profitable investment than investing in cryptocurrency for now?

Money comes and goes in cryptocurrency. They raise the prices up as they also push them down. That has always been the normal situation inside crypto. But that is not what is apparently happening inside the ICO market. Investment money is decreasing severely. And the investors are not to blame because they have their fill of scams and dead projects. The money is now flowing into existing coins instead of the coins that are offered in the ICO market.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ANALYST: ALTCOIN SEASON has almost arrived on: November 05, 2019, 02:15:23 AM
in my opinion altseason will arrive if bitcoin can touch the new ATH, before bitcoin touches the new ATH again don't expect altseasson to come.
I believe Altseason will come but don't know when it will happen, only time can answer that.
actually there is no need to wait for the new ATH Bitcoin for the altcoin season, Bitcoin rises 50% -70% I am sure the altcoin season will also come. but it would be better if Bitcoin and altcoin touched the new ATH because that's what most traders have been waiting for

That's what everyone, not only traders, is hoping, not waiting, for. It is most unlikely that Bitcoin and altcoins will create their new ATH together. That is hardly happening although still possible. But that must need a very big amount of money flowing in. It is going to be billions that is needed. Possible yet difficult to happen. But if Bitcoin will reach its new ATH first and then the altcoins will follow, like alternatively, that is going to be a lot easier to happen. The money is just jumping from Bitcoin to altcoin and vice versa.

The thing is, in order to pick up some altcoin, you more than likely are going to need Bitcoin to do it. Sure, there's a few exchanges that have alt/USD markets, but almost everyone exchanges their Bitcoin for altcoins. This is why there's a correlation between these two. The last time we saw all time highs on everything, Bitcoin was also at it's all time high. There can be slight outliers in this from time to time, but generally altcoins grow when the crypto market cap as a whole grows.

That is why the pattern is that Bitcoin will rise and hit its own ATH first before the altcoins do. The first coin majority of the investors buy when entering crypto is of course Bitcoin. So before the money will flow into altcoins, it has already passed through Bitcoin. And then it is also a fact that more often than not when Bitcoin is bullish, the altcoins will not be the same. But when Bitcoin has already hit its ATH, the correction follows, and a big part of the Bitcoin portfolio of the investors are going to be converted into altcoins.
376  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DX token: From $0.000503 ➡️ $0.000681 . What next? $0.000722? on: November 05, 2019, 01:54:05 AM
It has indeed made a long green candle but avoid the FOMO. That is not recommendable. As a matter of fact, you have to watch out as the candles are getting red. I think you need to sell if you have still some DX token left and perhaps buy when it will bottom out. The hype with their alpha mainnet launching has already lost its influence. Sell while the decrease in price is still below 1%.

Thanks for that. I've been waiting for it to bottom out but it seems growing instead. I've sold at $0.000641 but it ain't coming down rather. Now I wish to go in and target $0.000722. it's possible

It is possible. I am with you on this. If your target is only $0.000722 USD, then you will most likely get it very soon. DX Token is growing nice right now, with almost 7% in growth. It has already entered the $0.000700 USD plus price, currently at $0.000711 USD. But this is not all about DX Token, the growth in price in USD is also being assisted by the growth of Bitcoin as well. I guess it is better of you to consider the Bitcoin price of DX Token more than the USD equivalent.

379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypton - next altcoin with a great potential on: November 04, 2019, 10:51:12 AM
Of course, everyone is welcome to speak of their next altcoin with a great potential. But please fall in line. The line is very long now. Thousands of altcoin shillers have come before you bringing with them their next altcoins with a great potential as well. Crypton will have to prove itself first before the community will give its praise. The words "next" and "great potentials" are too overused that they mean nothing anymore. We have too many dead coins that have "great potentials" as well.
380  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders who never bother to learn how to trade on: November 04, 2019, 09:52:33 AM
Statistically, 96% of traders lose money or give up. How many of those never took it seriously enough to truly learn?
The only way to beat those kinds of odds are to give yourself every advantage possible.

That includes taking the time to study and learn.

where did this number 96% come from?
This statement of 96% or 95% of people fail in trading is one of the biggest myths spread around the traders.
Furthermore, the cryptocurrency trading market must be different from forex trading or stocks.
I trade bitcoin and some altcoins, but never lose money, although there are some who lose money but most of my friends in profit as well.
You know, to make a profit in trading, you don't need to be a good trader, just follow some good traders to obtain what they capable of.

"The answer by John Roberson states that about 20% of the traders he has observed made profits. This answer differs from others. The reason given is that were in a good competitive trading environment. And I tend to agree with this reason. These traders trade with the belief that they will be profitable." Source

That is obviously an estimate that is clearly blown out of proportion to get their point. The OP is clearly luring people through his signature. Perhaps he is selling something. That 96% is an exaggeration for the sake of marketing whatever it is in his Facebook page or community. But his point is somehow true. There are many crypto traders who did not bother to study and formally learn the art of crypto trading before getting into it.
