361  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I access my BTC and other wallets on Public Internet Cafe on: October 08, 2019, 08:39:13 PM
Before accessing or opening your wallet on a public internet cafe make sure that it is safe check for key logger and other stuff.
I also do it sometimes but I only do it on my trusted internet cafe which I also know the owner and the shop attendant.
My brother got hacked from doing it on a random internet cafe back in 2017 and lost a lot of crypto because of it.
I think the best way is to own a hardware wallet I think it is safe to open because they need to have your device and codes.
362  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling activies correlates with Bitcoin's price? on: October 08, 2019, 08:02:34 PM
It's like an ordinary FOMO. When bitcoin reaches another highs more people will ride into it. Even mainstream media will mention it regularly. Just like what happened last 2017. Gamblers will also try using bitcoin too especially people in countries that have difficulties betting because of their laws that prohibit betting.

But I don't think gamblers using bitcoin can make major effect on its price. The whales, be it companies or groups of people are the ones that can have big impact when it comes to bitcoin price movements.
This is a good theory and it is very accurate and reasonable if you think of it that way.
But I also believe that most of the gamblers in crypto doesn't really care about it's Fiat price unless they are already done playing and they would check how much they've earned or lose specially the high rollers.
So for those gamblers the price wouldn't matter too much and if they think that the price of Bitcoin is too expensive of course they would move on into another crypto like Eth or other accepted crypto in the site that they are playing.
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: wait, who owns the market? on: October 08, 2019, 07:17:36 PM
For me I think we could consider the whales as the one who controls the market.
Just look at most of the past events when the whale moves the market would surely follow.
People tend to follow what the whales would do so they are the one's who is controlling it.
We have seen the market crash down because a whale dumps it share and after that the market rise up when they bought it back again.
364  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Bitcoin Cafe on: October 08, 2019, 06:25:50 PM
Would it be right if I think of them as mocking bitcoin or maybe the  bitcoin on there menu. A cafe that doesn't accept bitcoin would not be the best place to learn about bitcoin "I can preach that vegetables are healthier and I do not eat vegetables" it doesn't add up.
Bitcoin cafe aside what the government of that country needs is to get out of there high horses and see the true meaning of bitcoin and how it can easy some of the country's difficulties
I think this cafe just wants to promote some awereness about Bitcoin's existence.
It is clear from OP's word that the country have ban the people from using crypto so basically accepting crypto in their cafe would make them law breaker.
They dedicated their own money and effort on opening a shop like this so why would you think that they are mocking it?
It is clear that they are supporting crypto currency or Bitcoin even in their own way .
365  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a scam? What to do next. on: October 08, 2019, 05:43:19 PM
So okay, this story didn't happen to me. It happened to a friend (let's call him Bob) of a friend (I will call him Sam).

Bob came to me asking is this a scam and is it legal. Bob doesn't know much about bitcoins and crypto, Sam even less.
Sam somehow got in contact with people who offers to open an account and invest into crypto. These people guaranteed a lot of profit. Sam paid 500 EUR at first and other two times a 2000 EUR.
What is interesting, that these people calling him to invest more. But he has an app (I don't know what app, because I heard it from Bob and he doesn't know either) which shows that Sam has doubled his investment (9000 EUR), but he cannot withdraw it now and these people (from Russia) are calling and rushing him to invest even more.

Bob asked me about that, I said that this is some nonsense. There shouldn't be people calling you and asking to transfer money. All is too fishy.

What should Sam do? Will the police help?
It is so easy to see that it is a scam .
There are so many ways for them to know about crypto if they really want to learn all they have to do is search the internet have so many information that they could use.
And of course the app that your friend is using is just a tool for scamming people.
I have seen something like that before someone from Telegram tried to scam me by asking for help and giving me the details of some unknown trading site and in the site it shows that I have a huge balance but I need to deposit first before I could make a withdrawal.
366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: short term or long term investing on: October 08, 2019, 05:07:16 PM
for the long-term investment, you need to be rich first lol. if you're poor like me you need to take your steps for short-term (sad but true)

we are not in a position like holding 100 btc for 10 years. you need to gain your cryptocurrencies and need to consume these asap to live your life, at least, in these market situations we need to act like that. because most cryptocurrencies prices are the same and do not increase much more. so it makes no sense to hold them for investment. but you can hold your tokens if bull-run starts btw.
I don't see a reason why you need to be rich in order to be a long term investor?
You could be a long term investor all you need to do is invest what you could afford even if it's just a small amount try to buy everytime you have some extra cash and hold it.
And for me it is better to be a long term investor rather than a risky short term.
The market moves so quickly and if you are a short term investor you would always be in fear on your investment specially if you invested in an alt-coin that doesn't have a strong community.
367  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price today returned to $ 7,800 on: October 08, 2019, 12:13:42 PM
bitcoin is now back at $8K++. I think this is just a rally and not bitcoin will return to the downward trend. the current situation is quite good and there is nothing to worry about. even many people want a small decrease before the bull.
Yes there is no to be worry about the value because everything have plan for sure because bitcoin bull will continue happen again.
This month more than $8000 will see for the bitcoin value and Im really sure once bitcoin start to rise again it will continue and bill run really appear and everyone will believe that bull run happen again give bitcoin more weeks  I think.
I even bought Bitcoin at the current price of $ 8,200. I don’t see the low prices for Bitcoin anymore, for $ 6,000 there will definitely not be a price. I also predict a rise in the price of Bitcoin this year to $ 12,000.
I agree with the next couple of months we might see it rise up ,
And I don't really think that it might go down below $6,000 again.
There would be a halving next year and I expect that it would create a FOMO and it would rise the price again.
368  Economy / Speculation / Re: I wan't to believe on: October 06, 2019, 09:12:42 PM
Well for the record I think everyone wants to believe in that prediction I mean it gives hope for the long term investors and for those who lose some money back in 2018.
It already proves April and July and we are now in October ,
Who knows maybe something big would happen and make that prediction happens.
But I think it is too good to be true right now ,
But I guess there are some things that we could never expect in crypto and the market could easily switch .
369  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to buy Bitcoin? on: October 06, 2019, 08:02:04 PM
News flash: No one knows when exactly the best time to buy is. If you think bitcoin has a future and in that future bitcoin has a higher price that it's price right now, then just dollar-cost average! May it be weekly, bi-weekly(I prefer this), or monthly. That way, you don't need to rely on technical analyses from people you don't even know if they actually know what they're talking about.
It is true we couldn't really tell when would be the best time to buy ,
So if you really want to buy then do it anytime you want do your own research and timing.
We couldn't predict the future who knows if Bitcoin would go up or fall down in the next couple of days .
So if you really believe that the price of Bitcoin would be higher than it is right now then why shouldn't you buy it and hold it?
370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A view on hunters and crypto currency on: October 06, 2019, 07:06:43 PM
Yes it is true investor are becoming smarter now and it is a good sign they are more aware of the risk,
This might lessen the scam project since most of them wouldn't get an investor.
And for us bounty hunters we should also be aware of the projects that we are promoting we are also investing our time and effort to promote the project to attract investors so we should also choose carefully,
There would always be a legit project out there we just need to carefully choose it and don't be lazy to do some research before promoting or investing on a project.
371  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price fluctuations - Opportunity or despair? on: October 06, 2019, 06:02:23 PM
It is an opportunity for those who wants to buy some at a low price and hold it for a long term,
But a despair for those who have weak hands and most likely to lose because of their fear or their emotion.
The only thing that they need is to know which alt-coin is worth the wait or hold in order to gain profit.
The price fluctuation could give them a profit but if they couldn't handle it , then it would get their capital and destroy them.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not advance as a bounty hunter? on: October 06, 2019, 04:57:26 PM
Many people are used to complaining about failures, instead of trying to improve their situation. I like what you said, I agree with you, buddy. I think that bounty hunters should use their experience to improve their financial situation, instead of crying.
But not everyone could do it for example there are some who have been bounty hunter for so long but still couldn't trade properly,
And there are some reasons why ,
Not all bounty hunters have a huge free time or only living through bounty hunting,
So those bounty hunter couldn't do other stuff that would eat up so many of their time.
There are some who are lazy to study trading and others who couldn't do other job because it requires some experience like bounty manager most of the time it would be hard to be one because they would require some past experience .
373  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin.com Launches Games Stars Leaderboard – Win BTC Every Week on: October 06, 2019, 03:58:06 PM
It is a great one for those who are really into gambling.
Only those who are dedicated or hook in gambling would surely be on the leader board,
But for us small time player this kind of news doesn't really excite us because we know that there is a very small chance that we could get into the leader board.
But it is always a good one to attract those high roller and who knows maybe next time they would add up some events or give aways that we could join even if we aren't so good in gambling or a huge spender.
374  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 06, 2019, 08:23:10 AM
Bitcoin was not made to spend. Not for now. There is a misinterpretation of what Satoshi wrote in the Whitepaper: "A peer-to-peer eletronic cash system". He created bitcoin to be an electronic money system. This is a fact.

Before becoming a monetary system, Bitcoin must be able to preserve value over time. After that, he becomes able to earn society's trust and become a genuine cash.

People accept dollars because they believe that money is still backed by gold (as it was until the end of Bretton Woods), or because (unfortunately) they believe the government will guarantee the value of the currency.

That is, people believe in Dollar because they are sure that money will be at the same value tomorrow. Although this is not true.

99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

Bitcoin has never been about just being a simple means of payment. It is not like VISA or Mastercard. He is a legitimate Digital Asset and as such needs to earn trust until it is adopted as money.

Do not spend your Bitcoins. Not now.
The decision should be made by the owner but I think it should be a great to spend it  to spread awareness .
This could attract other people to get into crypto but the problem is the owners who doesn't want the adoptation to move on.
I know that Bitcoin have a huge potential to grow so I guess the wallets or payment method  should give some rewards or cashback to the users who would use crypto as payment.
375  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 3 things should not be too in trading on: October 06, 2019, 07:23:55 AM
Yes it is true and for me the best thing that a trader shouldn't do is listen to some strangers advice and take it seriously.
Most of the new traders are so gullible that they could easily fall into those signal groups or join some paid or VIP signal groups.
And also they should learn how to trade properly search some info about the crypto that they would invest in.
376  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Poker vs Live Casino Poker on: October 06, 2019, 04:51:18 AM
It depends on what you prefer surely those who have skills would choose the live casino poker,
Because they could use the poker face and read their opponents feelings or gesture,
And it is much easier to bluff on a live casino poker since you could see each other.
The only great thing about online poker is that you could do it anywhere play anywhere and anytime,
And this would be the best for those who doesn't want to be known as gambler or those who wants to keep it a secret.
377  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Need a help on: October 05, 2019, 07:38:01 PM
Hi!

ETH is now in an extremely low position. How good is the idea chat avenue to buy it now?

Thanks.
You shouldn't seek some advice on a random strangers when it comes to your investment.
Learn to do your own research and to make your own decision ,
Just think about it what would you do next time when you listen to those who tells you to buy then the price goes down?
You would seek some advice again .
It is better to learn than to rely on others choice so you wouldn't blame some one else if something happens to your money.
378  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys ok if BTC ends in the 10k USD range at the end of 2019? on: October 05, 2019, 06:40:51 PM
Well it is better than being below $10K or back in $7K.
But I think it would be more than just 10K I think it wojld be around 12-15K,
After all we still have time and who knows if something would come up like FOMO for the next halving.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: October 05, 2019, 05:28:16 PM
I don't think that it is a good idea .
There are shit coins yes but not all of the alt coins are worthless and would end up being dump.
You have been in crypto for a long time now and you should also know that there are some alts that have some potential to grow.
The problem about the new traders is that they would only buy whats on trend or whats hot without knowing the background of the alt coin that they are buying.
Most of them are just picking up randomly and hoping for the price to go up.
380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects are responsible for the death of their tokens on: October 05, 2019, 04:15:26 PM
In this kind of bad altcoin market i am still surprised that some new projects are giving out 50% price tag for their tokens, this is a project killer if you ask me, this move is only good if altcoin season is out and surging, 50percent is way too much in this kind of market we are in presently,  tell me i'm wrong
We couldn't really blame them for their sale strategy.
Just think about it there are so many projecrs out there competing against each other.
So basically they would use different kinds of strategy but they should also know how to make it work.
Because honestly those giveaways are really the one who is killing the project and that is the main reason why the projects value is so low when they hit the market.
