361  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't lose your profit unnecessarily on: November 01, 2021, 01:37:01 AM
~
Lately therefore I take profit as it comes and this has worked for my trading experience. It is not scalping if you see your profit going down the pit.

It depends upon the project i invested, when it comes to Bitcoin, i have a target for the amount i wanted to trade and if that reaches my target then i will book my profit and then purchase them once again when there is a correction. When it comes to alts, especially hyped ones i will invest during the initial period and i would cash out completely and never think about purchasing that ever again.
a hype project is a project that must require regular monitoring, because at any time there will be pumps and dumps, so we lose the moment. to buy it, indeed, if we believe in the analysis, the initial purchase will be better, and we are waiting for the pump to react. and after the dump happened, then I also thought it would be difficult to bounce back, so it's better to forget about it afterwards
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia doesn't wants its citizens earning with cryptos on: October 31, 2021, 07:37:52 AM
This kind of response should not be followed, logically being an investor is everyone's desire to add income so officials like this should consider the economy of society, now we have seen many societies whose economies are changing because of investing in the crypto world, so banning is a big mistake because everyone has their own way to earn money, Putin's previous statements guided the Russian people to participate in the crypto world.
in this thread russia has nothing to say against cryptocurrencies, but it does not improve the status of crypto in the country. The possibility for crypto legalization has not yet been seen in that country, but I think people can still invest in crypto at their own risk, without any protection from the government. hopefully with the rapid development of crypto, will change the government's decision
363  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Risk in Crypto Assets Portfolio on: October 31, 2021, 07:24:44 AM
I have seen there whatever has a huge upside also has a huge downside. This is the case with crypto currency, including bitcoin.

Can we point out the risks that one faces in investing crypto assets based on these:

1. As a retail investor

2. As an asset manager (hedge fund business)

3. As a trader.

If you really think about it, there will always be risks in whatever investment you make. The only thing that makes the difference is your knowledge about a specific investment, how much you know about it; the do's and don'ts. Another thing would be how you carry yourself as an investor and how you manage your portfolio and risks. Knowledge is one thing, but knowing how to apply that knowledge is a whole new level that would need actual experience or mentoring. Anyways, hope you understand what I am trying to point out.
with knowledge we will understand the risks and rewards, so that we will be able to take a realistic view of the type of investment that we do. like bitcoin, which has a high fluctuating nature, so we are required not to panic sell, and if we can manage it then we will get the rewards we want, but to take profit we must also be realistic by putting aside greed
364  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learn more about trading on: October 30, 2021, 01:51:44 AM
What are some of the best ways to learn more about trading?

Reading and experiences are some of the best ways to learn more about trading. You can also gain an idea about trading in Google and YouTube as how I learn trading through this. But, researching also is the best way where you can see all of the potential coins for you to invest in. Focus also in reading forum trades for you to also learn. It's better also that you have a good strategy when you already decide to start trading.
Just be careful with YouTube videos, we know that people there more than anything want to obtain views and while there are many honest traders giving legitimate advice there are many others that are not above giving fake advice about how to trade the markets as long as this gives them what they want and they can obtain some revenue with their videos, so at first I will recommend people to learn with a book and then they can move to learn with those videos as now they will be able to distinguish what is real advice and what is fake advice.
learning through books is indeed more effective, because we can get tricks from people who are truly masters of trading, so this will not plunge us. besides that we also need to discuss with friends who are more senior by learning their experiences that have been experienced so far. that way I think later we will soon get our trading style that we feel most comfortable
365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Cryptocurrency for 1 Week! on: October 30, 2021, 01:45:03 AM
1 week is enough to understand how markets work in small timeframes, you have to focus on higher timeframes in order to understand deeply what whales trying to do. You should build your trading experience to analyze why market patterns are absolutely different on H4 compared to 15 min charts.  Consistent profits are not impossible but hard to reach that level of confidence, time will show which option suits better your trading style.
but for me, 1 week may not be enough to be said to dominate the market, especially with a small time frame. Indeed, experience is needed here to fully understand, let alone to control psychology, where this takes time to adapt. Therefore, multiplying experience can make us learn about every different condition
366  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: For those who think that they caught the moment when it's late to buy on: October 30, 2021, 01:38:00 AM
it's actually never too late when you look for bottom prices and start entering. Spot trading will continue to provide profits even when prices are already high by taking advantage of any price fluctuations.
I agree that investing is all about timing but then also if you are not in a hurry and are prepared to hold for the long-term then you can never say that's too late since this is all time relative.

There are no times when you can say you can't enter the market. The great thing about crypto unlike traditional stocks & shares market is that you get rapid price fluctuations and there are always opportunities. All it takes is a prepared mindset, and some DYOR.
One of the best things that you could really get on dealing with crypto is that you could really get in whenever there are fluctuations which you cant really see that often when you do deal with stocks or forex.

But somewhat when it comes to risk then it is way more higher though but well, you do know on how people do deal up with fire.

We do love to risk into something that gives something bigger and better in terms of profits or rewards
late or not this actually comes from feelings of self. we worry too much to start with, and end up regretting why we didn't buy it earlier. I agree whenever we can invest, and of course we have been prepared for a long period of time to take profit, if the target comes sooner then it is a bonus for us
367  Economy / Economics / Re: Simple reason why crypto is preferred over fiats on: October 29, 2021, 02:22:43 AM
Although bitcoin also has advantages over fiat, there are disadvantages too. for bitcoiners, it might totally support bitcoin, but if you look at the reality, I think the role of fiat is very big. I don't think it's easy to replace fiat, but it's not something that is impossible with the development of existing technology. what is clear is that not many governments can accept it
368  Economy / Economics / Re: What happened? on: October 29, 2021, 02:16:50 AM
Hello everybody, first time here.
I wasn't sure where to post this, please feel free to move it if I messed up.

Thing is, I'm yet to start my investment (maybe in the next few days). I've just finished a course by Chris Haroun on the subject.
So I've been keeping an eye on the prices of Bitcoin, Ethereum and Binance Coin for the past few days. As you all know, all three coins took a dive yesterday. What I just noticed is that all three fell about the same time (around 4 A.M. yesterday), and recovered also about the same time (24 hs. later, about 4 A.M. today).
Did anything happen, that would cause such a synchronized dip and recovery?
Thanks in advance.  Smiley
I suppose you are familiar with the concept of correlation, basically since bitcoin is so dominant in this market, as the majority of the real world usage of cryptocurrencies comes from bitcoin, then this means that if bitcoin moves in one direction then the other coins in the market move in the same direction with a similar magnitude, so this solves one part of the mystery.

However why it happened around that time? Most of the time the most likely explanation is this happened because of supply and demand, basically there was enough demand to move the price to a certain threshold, this fired up the buy orders from traders and bots, which in return did the same for other traders and bots, so as you can see there is not a big mystery there either and it is just part of the natural movements of any market.
if you look at the three are the top ranking in cryptocurrencies, with bitcoin as the leader over all existing crypto. price formation is based on the law of supply and demand, when they go down and up at the same time then there is a transaction in the same direction, and I think this is still preceded by bitcoin's price reaction
369  Economy / Economics / Re: When will the role of fiat currency disappear against crypto. on: October 29, 2021, 02:10:05 AM
Faith currency has been in existence for a long time know I do believe you are aware and there is no way Bitcoin or crypto currency can any way eliminate it completely, and if you are waiting to to see a day such will happen then you will continue to wait till eternity because it will not come to pass. The measurements of Bitcoin and crypto currency generally are all on the faith currency and that was why they have values, for without faith currency, crypto currency will have no values quotes me any where brother.

A recurring topic indeed. No, fiat will not disappear since no government will allow a distributed decentralised system to take over their instruments of monetary policy. They are quite trigger happy to print money before elections and they are perfectly positioned to choose the legal tender that they consider more interesting for controlling the economy.

It is sad that such a powerful instrument is being used irresponsibly in many cases and, in may, with pure incompetence.
each country is certainly competing to get a strong position among the currencies of other countries and of course with control from the government. to lose control and leave fiat, I feel it is also unlikely that this will happen, especially since the currency in each country is different, and it becomes a pride for a country, except for countries whose currency becomes worthless.
370  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Be in a hurry on: October 28, 2021, 04:05:19 AM
the strategy you run is really good, because I use it often too, because selling some coins when we have reached the first target can help our psychological balance so that this can keep our minds clear and we can determine a good attitude towards market reactions
371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to understand the market in advance on: October 28, 2021, 03:58:59 AM
for certainty when the pump occurs I don't think anyone knows for sure, but for beginners we can use indicators to get signals. for example, we use the Moving average indicator, then from there we will be able to find out the price action that will occur in the market, but this is not always the correct signal presented. therefore the need for experience is needed
372  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to make $5,000 a month day trading? on: October 28, 2021, 03:52:28 AM
If you want to trade futures, you must maintain the signal and trade.
What do you mean by maintain signal? You must know that the signal isn't always helpful. There are many signals that result in losses because the signals are wrong. Crypto market is unpredictable, crypto prices can change at any time. We cannot rely on the signals only, we need to update information about a whole crypto world. Sometimes, a rumor or an issue can make a correction or big drops.

it says op wants to make $5k profit, and that means 30% of initial capital by trading not only on bitcoin. then the strategy in question is to follow signals from indicators, for example. it's not too bad, and I think when the market is bullish it is possible that the target can be met. the problem here is that op is experienced or not in the crypto world, because it is feared that he will not be able to control his emotions and is only oriented to his ambition
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: HODL, HODL, HODL when can one actually sell Bitcoin? on: October 27, 2021, 02:31:04 AM
I think the right time to sell bitcoin is when our target is met, where everyone's target is different. and that's where the analysis will be, all greed is tested as well as being toyed with by the market. therefore we must have a stand, so that there is no excessive disappointment behind it
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: October 27, 2021, 02:22:01 AM
in business, risk must be a friend that we can control, as well as when we use bitcoin. of the many risks mentioned, I think it is the risk of volatility that often makes people tested their greed. many of them who run out of all their wealth just because they obey greed, and fall into gambling
375  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: October 27, 2021, 01:58:11 AM
I think the first thing we can explain is the risks and rewards of bitcoin. because most of them are certainly oriented to big profits in a short time. so that they are not disappointed, then for me that is the main thing to apply. after they understand of course we can start learning about the others
376  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What the government expect from bitcoin legality? on: October 27, 2021, 01:53:53 AM
(....)
  • Does the government want to get involved in this investment as an alternative to their desire to generate wealth for the individual or the country?

The additional thing here, people or government should not always think using Bitcoin is already your are investing of it, there are lot of uses for Bitcoin, as it first is a mode of payment, be your own bank, and financial freedom since no one can control your Bitcoin or Bitcoin itself.

For sure, there are still a lot of laws or some regulations that will come in the future regarding Bitcoin but again, they can't touch Bitcoin or control by them, that's how Bitcoin was built.
as bitcoin develops later, of course the government will impose new regulations, although not with regard to bitcoin legalization, but increasingly transparent regulations will certainly be applied. because we know the main reason the government has not been able to legalize it is because of its uncontrollable nature. but at least we can still use it as a tool to make money
377  Economy / Economics / Re: A tale of the two parasites on: October 26, 2021, 02:43:52 AM
This two class of parasites are very dangerous to society, it's growth and development, it's security level because they do more harm than good since they don't exactly contribute positively to the growth of the society,
I think the rich parasites are the most annoying thinking everything are above the laws, always looking for a way to manipulate the system to bend to their demands, the poor parasites are almost like a toothless bulldog, can't do much because of their poor financial status.
rich parasites will become very terrible wolves, it can happen that they are desperate to buy government regulations to carry out their actions so that their greed appears, and finally oppress the poor parasites. After the small parasites are suppressed, they do whatever it takes to fulfill their needs, and not infrequently the criminal path is taken
378  Economy / Economics / Re: Are banks needed for crypto? on: October 26, 2021, 01:43:34 AM
Bank and crypto is a difficult thing to put together, the presence of a bank with many conditions and difficulty to withdraw and fees for large transactions are certainly not expected by crypto users, we are in a different era that no longer needs banks to control our money, this is the modern era so banks are not needed in crypto.
Even though that doesn't mean banks aren't necessary in life.
We certainly already know that the function of the bank is for what, apart from the rules and system imposed by the bank, we cannot eliminate banking in life because it is related to the existing economic system.
crypto is indeed very good but that doesn't mean we only live from crypto, at least we have to be realistic that in real life the role of fiat and paper money is still a vital tool in payments.
we really have to be able to live realistically with the existing conditions and situations that occur. we will still need a bank, because every transaction will be converted to fiat to be able to shop for the necessities of life. On the other hand, banks without crypto are actually not a problem for them, because banks are protected by a big power, namely the government
379  Economy / Economics / Re: Who is Happier: Stock investors or Bitcoin investors on: October 26, 2021, 01:34:23 AM
Well it depends upon the fact that who has gained more profit. If the stock investors are on the right track to invest then they can gain more even through little fluctuations in the market.
Whereas the bitcoin investors need a lot of fluctuations in the market to gain a lot of profit.
Fluctuations is something that they do really differ but doesnt matter as long they do make greens then thats considered gains and that what matter most.Stocks have less volatileness

and thats why some of them jumped out to crypto just to have some new real experience on dealing with volatile one.Of course it is way more riskier but somewhat really rewarding if you
have done it right.!

Being happy would come into many forms but in terms of investment then its just normal that gains will really be giving out that emotion.
indeed many stock investors are moving to crypto or just setting aside a little capital to invest in crypto. by seeing the difference between the two, they must dare to be more speculative to enter the crypto world. there are even stock investors who don't want to get into the crypto world though, and I think they're all happy with sticking to their own beliefs
380  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon musk now the richest man in earth on: October 26, 2021, 01:29:39 AM
If warren buffet believes in crypto just like how Elon use crypto to multiply his assets , Warren should be the richest man on earth until today.
We don't know about this, Buffet isn't the same as Elon. So, there is no guarantee Buffet can be successful in crypto. Elon has done a brave decision to invest in crypto, buying Bitcoin for Tesla and he also used a good strategy. Elon even used his popularity to influence crypto market, it was a crazy thing. If Buffet invested in Bitcoin, I don't think he will be the same way as Elon did.

between buffet and elon is different, maybe buffet has a different view on cryptocurrencies, so he doesn't seem to focus on crypto like elon. maybe now Elon's wealth exceeds buffet, but something we can't fault is that they are successful in their own ways and with their own beliefs, until one day they are at the top together.
