3601  Economy / Reputation / Re: Feedback abuse( on: October 31, 2020, 08:15:00 PM
That's not the right way of sending positive feedback IMO. It would be better to know who exactly the person behind that sent feedback is.
Is he/she on DT?

Please share the link to the profile is you don't mind
3602  Economy / Exchanges / Re: After Two Weeks : OKex Withdrawal Remains Suspended on: October 31, 2020, 02:47:28 PM
How long more users need to wait for the withdrawal function? What could be the maximum thing that the team is doing now to resolve the issue? What are your thoughts on this?
Those are the kind of questions you should be asking the Okex team or support because only they know what exactly is going on. I don't think anybody here knows how long the affected users need to wait before withdrawals are enabled.
This should be a reminder once again. Not your private keys, not your money. Only keep what you can afford to lose in an exchange if you must.
3603  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 30, 2020, 11:19:06 PM
I have 79 mBTC frozen after winning a sports bet, I have sent the documents that you have requested yesterday to your email for the KYC process but I have not received a response and I need the money, can you please help me?

https://prnt.sc/va972b

You should be a little patient. If you did nothing wrong, you are going to get your money. Verification takes some hours of days in most cases. I hope everything works out well for you.

Good evening everyone! I'm so glad it's Friday and I've got so much on the horizon in terms of football I feel like I'm all set for the weekend. Since I'll be winning Steve's Multi Magic, I don't mind putting a fiver on this baby right here. Odds boost on the underdog feels so good, baby.

https://sportsbet.io/sharebetslip/dc40795a-4013-4796-8947-cdc05c15f419

P.S. Noticed the betslip doesn't show the boosted odds (it's boosted to 13.10 for Cologne for total parlay of 18.34)
Betting against Bayern Munich? You got some balls of steel there bro  Cheesy
I personally would be more confident betting against the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid but surely not against red-hot Bayern Munich. Anyway let's see how it goes and may luck be on your side.
3604  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] ▲▼ Exolix - Secure & Anonymous Crypto Exchange Service on: October 30, 2020, 09:53:20 PM
Is Exolix non-custodial?
From what I observed recently. It is a custodial service because they at times freeze traders' funds and ask for KYC  on grounds of suspicious transactions. A non-custodial service would never even have any power to freeze user funds.
3605  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wha happened here? jochen-hoenicke.de on: October 30, 2020, 09:42:43 PM
LoL !!!!  Grin Grin
I would expect better than than that. I mean, they have their own pool, why would they use 3rd party data?
Also btc.com chart may be older that J-H one (at least I've heard of btc.com page way earlier than about the J-H page, but I am aware that this may not mean anything).

On the other hand.. other 2 charts don't seem to have the glitch:
https://mempool.observer/#historical-mempool
https://www.blockchain.com/charts/mempool-size
Mempool.space's graph have doesn't have such an error as well https://mempool.space/graphs#24h

It's such a shame for Btc.com thou. And they even went ahead and put a BTC.COM label on their chart  Grin
3606  Economy / Gambling / Re: LOL.. so little warning sending coins to Roobet - =) ur gonna love this on: October 30, 2020, 08:50:37 PM
Have you tried contacting their support? What have they told you about the situation?
... or you are that kind of guy who makes a mountain out of the situation minus getting an explanation from the other party?

Could be an error or glitch that could quickly be resolved without you coming out here to spit fire.
3607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 29, 2020, 11:56:41 PM

They were UCL semifinalist last season tho.
They sold some good players like T. Werner. It can be a reason too.
We will see it more clear on the matchday 3 next week. Leipzig vs PSG will be a good match to watch.
I hope they are not a one-season-wonder team (UCL edition)  Grin
This kind of thing happen almost every season. Remember Monaco and Ajax?
Whenever underdogs reach semi-finals or finals, there always those top players that impress European top clubs and as soon as the transfer market begins. Most of those players are bought off rendering the underdogs weaker for the next season. I don't think Leipzig will even manage to go past group stages.

EXOLIX IS A SCAM EXCHANGE!!!!!!!

These scammers took my money from an exchange and tried to steal my passwords and send me malware when I contacted support!!![/b]

BEWARE!!!!!!
Writing huge screaming texts doesn't help if you don't provide any proof of how you were scammed. Nobody will believe anything especially from a newbie account with only 1 activity point.

Make a proper scam accusation with all the proof that you can avail.

Wow good catch, thanks!
But who really wishes for such things? Roll Eyes
I think the topic could become quite important. I will deposit it at theymos.

@trusted sites
Did you just add bitcointalk.org and that is enough?
It didn't work for me and so I leave uBlock generally disabled on the page here.
Yeah, I just added "bitcointalk.org" under trusted sites, saved changes, refreshed any forum thread where signatures were blocked, and they reappeared. Not sure why it didn't work for you.

I read the Reddit thread the OP wasn't even complaining about the signatures but rather the Forum ads that appear after the OP.

Quote
There are profile signatures which you can easily hide, but there are these ads in between posts that are difficult to remove.

Every time I manually use the dropper and hide the ad, the ad comes back if I browse to a different post.

Any hints on how to remove the ads?

But the still went ahead and included the signatures filters. I am going to create a Reddit account and try asking them to reverse what they tried to do. Hope it yields positive results because not all signatures are Ads.

Edit;
I made a post; https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/comments/jkian0/request_to_reverse_bitcointalkorg_signature_block/ Suggestions or comments are welcome  Smiley
3610  Other / Meta / Re: Signatures getting blocked on on: October 29, 2020, 09:36:34 AM
Update:
This morning when I opened my Firefox browser and it had automatically updated to the latest version 82.0.2. As soon as I refreshed this thread. All the signatures disappear unlike yesterday before It had been updated. Which means uBlock Origin's signature blockade works with the latest version of Firefox.

Quick work around

1. Open the uBlock Origin add-on and click on the eye icon to disable cosmetic filtering. The signatures will appear instantly while the add-on will remain running

2. Add bitcointalk.org under trusted sites as i had suggested earlier

I have set bitcointalk.org as a trusted site. Unchanged.
It works. Once you add bitcointalk.org make sure you click on "Apply Changes" then refresh the any thread that contain poster wearing signatures

I don't know why someone would want bitcointalk signatures universally blocked by an Adblocker yet the forum already has the option not to view signatures in the forum settings  Huh
Not all signatures are Ads. Maybe Theymos can try and workout a solution.

3611  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Maotezi - loan default on: October 28, 2020, 03:37:53 PM
Some of you are supporting the flag, and that is fine if you want, but what if Maotezi still returns the loan?

Would you be so quick to remove your feedback and oppose the flag?

Or maybe you just want to burn the 'witch' Smiley
The flag acts as a warning in case he comes back requesting for another loan. It's not like the support for the flag or the negative feedbacks left are permanent, they can be retrieved or reversed anytime after the issue has been resolved so, it's not equivalent to burning the "witch"  Cheesy

I do not "believe[...] that everyone is honourable". Most people? Yes. Everyone? Definitely not.

But I do believe that everyone should be treated as being honourable until proven otherwise. As I have also explained in the local board, I have (literally) decades of trade & gambling experience. I have my own reasons for doing what I'm doing. I have said we were still negotiating and I have assured that I would be monitoring his posts to be sure he doesn't ask for another loan in the mean time. All I asked for was a bit of patience (that - again - I believe everyone deserves until proven otherwise).

Thanks for that! Really a nice gesture towards this (very senior) member of this community! Really heartwarming...  Grin
How we all react to certain scenarios is quite different and I have no right to question your decision. I don't know how long you are willing to wait but I do hope the other party honors your gesture. Be rest assured, I will have fair judgement. For now, it's a preventive measure to avoid someone else becoming a victim.
3612  Other / Meta / Re: Signatures gone? on: October 28, 2020, 03:15:15 PM
I use Firefox in version 82.0 (64-bit).
uBlock Origin was last updated to version 1.30.6 on October 22nd.

So I guess it has something to do with the Firefox latest version. My Firefox version is still 81.0.2 (64-bit) just like mk4's, and I am using the latest version of uBlock Origin, 1.30.6 just like yours.

Very strange because until today about noon it was as usual. Since then the signatures are really only shown if the plugin is disabled.
I can still reproduce the behavior now.
Try adding bitcointalk under trusted sites and see if it helps

3613  Other / Meta / Re: Signatures gone? on: October 28, 2020, 02:42:00 PM
I use Firefox with the uBlock Origin plugin. This is the explanation.
I also use all the same, haven't disabled anything but I haven't seen any anomaly so far. Maybe it was a temporary glitch by uBlock Origin?
3614  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Maotezi - loan default on: October 28, 2020, 12:16:23 AM
Was it before or after?

Before: possibly hacked/bought account.
After: perp trying to pretend that there was a hack or some other issue.
They usually do it after they have been exposed. I have seen it happen mostly with loan defaulting profiles. The problem is it's hard to show an example since seclog doesn't record email address changes.
3615  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Maotezi - loan default on: October 27, 2020, 11:23:01 PM
I have supported the flag. The reason is because of this

There is zero chance that sbogovac will recover his loan. I have notice that kind of pattern before, where a scammer changes their email address after getting busted. I don't know why they do it thou.
3616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: October 27, 2020, 10:30:12 PM
Oh man what a comeback from Real Madrid, just awesome i love this club too much.  Just snitch 1 point in just last  7minute.
Full time
BM 2-2 RM
Real got 2 goals in 87 th mintues and 90+2 mintue.
One of the strong points of Real Madrid at the conclusion of last season in La Liga was how good the defense was. Sadly this season the defense seems to leak a lot of goals which will cost Real Madrid a lot of games or points. Our forwards are barely creating any chances or scoring any goals lately.
It was a relief to come from behind but not quite enough.
3617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: October 27, 2020, 08:42:51 PM
Lol That escalated quicklier than I originally thought.

I knew something serious was going to happen. Either the president or Messi. One of them had to go.
When you become unpopular each passing day and 20,000 fans sign a petition for you to be removed as a president, then there is not much better option than resigning. He must have realized that if a vote took place, there was no chance of him being voted as president again.

I wonder what happens will happen to Ronald Koeman in the next few weeks or months, but all I am sure about is that he won't stay there for long.
3618  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: How to get our money back from Bitmine.Farm/Bitmain.farm scammer/fraud website on: October 26, 2020, 11:30:32 PM
Is this proven and where did you get this information I have not invested on that cloud mining because it's never worth investing in any cloud mining but this is a good reference for those who invested and got scammed by Bitmine.Farm/Bitmain.farm I hope they get their money following the guide that you posted here
It's scam. Here is a thread containing the information about the scam that was created by mikeywith last
I still wonder why OP is blaming coinpayments, yet he is partly to blame for not carrying out due diligence. Anyway no one can stop him from suing coinpayments if he has excess money to spend on lawyers. He will tell us of the experience.
3619  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [SCAM] bitcoinmixer.org is a SCAM on: October 26, 2020, 09:11:33 PM
Update

The scam page:
https://bitcoinmixer.org
is now finally closed down.

That is both good and bad.

I expect they will re-launch under new logo/brand/webpage.

I am so happy that Namecheap once again has acted and shutdown the domain of the fraudulent mixer. They have been operating for 4 years and it' terrible imagining the number of victims they have scammed.

Thanks @TookDk for sharing the warning and also taking part in reporting the domain. It was a painful experience but since the registrar taken down the domain, you have definitely saved lots of potential future victims.
3620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICODrops - independent ICO database on: October 25, 2020, 11:52:17 PM
Someone would make a similar site, but with a search for relevant bounty campaigns. ICObench is not very convenient for these purposes, it does not display reliable information with the dates of the end of bounty campaigns.
ICODrops also had the bounty list feature: https://icodrops.com/bounty-list but I am not sure if they update it anymore.

There were quite a number of platforms that did the same but when most projects turned into scam and the ICO craze died down, such platforms collapsed or stopped updating details.

There was another nice platform which was using this domain (https://concourseq.io) back then. They were so organized just like ICODrops and would list all the information about the projects such as amount to be raised, ICO dates, Team, Whitepaper. The best part is that they would even go ahead and carry out due diligence and then include all the notes and review under the project information for any positives and negatives.

It was so good if one wanted to look up information about and ICO but for some reason, they completely changed the layout of their website and shifted their focus. This was their last message https://concourseopen.com/blog/so-long-concourseq/
