SLP/USDT looks like it’s starting to go side ways to limbo.  Lol.  But like SHIB, I think it could go up by a lot out of nowhere.  Mind you, I don’t know much about what’s going on behind Axie.  I’m just basing everything from price action and from what I’ve seen happen in the past.  So yeah...  like anything, it’s mostly guess work and getting lucky.

What do you guys think?

I don't see Brentford causing Chelsea too much trouble
I thought the same about Brentford in all the matches they played so far in this season. But look what they have achieved so far!

Won against West Ham in the away match
A 3 - 3 draws again Liverpool
Wolves did not do much against then, won the away match by 0 - 2
Win against Arsenal.

Brentford are doing well and they are to get something in this season.
to be fair, both Wolves and Arsenal had a pretty rough start of the season. meanwhile the Bees were super motivated to play in the PL
but, even if Tuchel wants to rest some key players like Lukaku and Rudiger, chelsea SHOULD win this match quite easily with the subs

Nope, they’re too street smart and that Brentford squad is a well drilled unit.  They may not be pretty to watch but they do try to get things done.  I haven’t watched the match vs Chelsea yet but judging from the result it seems they made it look ugly.

Nate Landwehr won!  I kneeeww ittt!!!  Yeeesss!!!  And I didn’t pull the trigger of course.  I chickened out from a small bet.  -_-

And Andrew Sanchez was winning the match til he gassed at R3...  Never again.  At least Arlovski won.  Lol.  But look out for Bruno Silva’s next opponent.  If it’s a good wrestler who doesn’t gas, put money on the wrestler.
3604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 17, 2021, 02:08:42 PM
^  It’s going to be kinda exciting seeing Newcastle United trying to escape relegation starting in January.  I wonder which players are gonna come on board and try to keep the club from going down.

And has anybody checked the table?  Brighton doing well.  Grin

^  At 145, no Ladd won’t have any issues but at 135, she has had issues.  She also had a hard time standing up on the scale by herself in that match vs GDR.  She’s a big girl so she should prolly either get a nutritionist or just fight at 145 where she can make weight without issues.

So my final my picks are Andrew Sanchez at 2.36 rn and Arlovski at 1.91.  I have a funny feeling Landwehr at 3.90 will make it close.  But it feels iffy..  I’ll decide in a couple of hours.  Lol.
3606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: October 16, 2021, 02:29:46 PM
Follow at your own risk but the Brighton pick I’m slightly more confident with.

I also bet on Brighton, Norwich has been playing well on the field, but their problem is that they fail a lot when it comes to scoring goals and that is the main reason they are always losing and are in a low position in the standings

It’s vs Norwich!  This season..  Everybody should always bet against Norwich.  Grin

I hope that for this game they lose so I can make a profit, but they can improve with time, I just hope they don't get relegated

Without spending more money in the transfer market, I pretty much doubt they’ll improve.  Maybe they’ll win some games but out of 38 fixtures, they’ll prolly win less than 8.  So that’s 30 fixtures of fading Norwich and finding value.  Wink

They just don’t have an EPL squad.  They should prolly get some tips from Brenford.
3607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: October 16, 2021, 12:48:24 PM
I see a dramatic draw game, and I'm not willing to take such a risk. I would propose putting Vardy on anytime scorer if you are confident he will score, and (team) Manutd to score the final goal instead of having Ronaldo score the final goal; it's still comparable to your alternatives but with a lower risk and odds, but the probability is strong. In my opinion, both teams should score.@1.50 odd

That’s the script in my head the first moment I saw it.  Cheesy  And I was obv just kidding.  But yeah...  From a betting perspective anytime goal scorer is def Vardy at 2.80.  Maguire and Varane won’t be playing.  I can see Vardy getting one in at the first half.  Other bets I like are Liverpool win to nil at 2.33 and a straight bet for Brighton to win at 2.14 vs Norwich.

For the Watford - Liverpool game I'm tempted to go for Salah to score at anytime and Over 2.5 goals in the match but I'm more concern about the early kick-off. Brighton to win looks like a bargain for the weekend @2.14

My four folds for the weekend( Liverpool, Chelsea & Brighton) all to win @ 5.02 odd

Salah just scored a ‘sensational goal’!  It would’ve won you some if you went thru with it.  And I would have if I didn’t make my Liverpool to win to nil bet which I admit kinda felt iffy the second after I made it.  Lol.  But it’s looking good rn.  35 mins left to go tho...

Breaking news:  Ranieri sacked!
3608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: October 15, 2021, 01:48:33 PM
Here’s my prediction.  Grin  Vardy scores first in the first half then Ronaldo scores in the second half getting the draw for the match.  So that’s Vardy first goal scorer at 6.20 at Stake then Ronaldo last goal scorer at 3.50 at FJ.

You might be laughing but the reason I think that is because both of United’s primary center backs couldn’t play..  So that’s Vardy first goal.  For the second goal...  It’s Ronaldo, nuff said.  Cheesy

The line for Aspen Ladd is slightly improving.  If it hits 1.85 - 1.90 or something near pickem or better, that’s an auto bet imho...  Even before weigh ins.  But I don’t think she’ll be having any problems with weight later since the match will be at 145.

Live weigh in starts in a couple of hours.

Yeah I get it,  no name value.  But look again..  Ludovit Klein vs Nate Landwehr could be a good match up, so is Andrew Sanchez vs Bruno Silva.  And it’s way better than Bellator’d prelims and main card matches outside the main and co main, that’s for sure...

And there are some interesting underdogs.  Books seem to misprice the UFC more than other MMA outfits.
3611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 14, 2021, 04:20:12 PM
^  Any suggestions on how to approach the match from a betting perspective?  I don’t really watch German football but this match I’m more interested in cos it’s Nagelsmann.

Edit:  I can’t find any decent spots except for Bayern to win and BTTS combo at 2.30.  What do you guys think?

3613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: October 14, 2021, 03:47:03 PM

Lol the books are on to you.  The over 2.5 is around 1.50 and the fight goes to decision prop is at around 1.60 depending on the book.

And the match itself is a coin flip.  Felipe opened at 2.40 then the line dropped down to where it is today and still dropping.  I’m leaning Felipe but if the line for Arlovski goes to 2.30 and up, I’m value betting Arlovski.
I knew it. Whenever I think there's money to be heard going by the above logic, the bookmakers decide to exactly for what I was planning on betting making it pointless to bet on the fight. I think I'll just watch the fight, and give it a miss in terms of betting then.

Yeah I get that too from time to time.  I’m really having second thoughts in my initial leans.  I feel like the dogs are barking for this event but when I start looking into them I’m not too sure.  I like Davis but really still some question marks as he just got back after a long lay off.  I’m back and forth between Silva and Sanchez..  Sanchez’s line is starting to look good but then we don’t know which Sanchez shows up.  But if it’s a wrestling heavy Sanchez he could make it sloppy and win.  I also like Jordan Wright but he has a bad gas tank and he’s chinny.  And back and forth between Felipe and Arlovski too..  These matches vs up and coming fighters Arlovski can win but not much value.

So I guess to get max value, I’d go Davis, Sanchez via decision, Wright round 1 and Arlovski via decision.
3614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2021/2022 on: October 14, 2021, 03:28:36 PM
One of the enjoyable games of the week is definitely going to be Leicester - Manchester United. Both sides haven't been doing good in the recent times. Leicester are in a worse condition than their competitor. And Manchester United have been better in their away games comparing to the home ones. I expect them to be one step ahead of their opponent. Maybe it will be tough but they can win by one goal I think.
The match is difficult to predict even though they are like heaven and earth. Manchester United's performance is better than Liecester City. In terms of players, Man United is superior, their ranking is also far away. But the match will take place in Liecester. Indeed, Man United's away record is better, but they are not stable. The arrival of Ronaldo has not brought stability to victory in every match. I think the result will be a draw. Leicester are also not good, they are in 13th position. Their last four games are winless and draw twice.

Here’s my prediction.  Grin  Vardy scores first in the first half then Ronaldo scores in the second half getting the draw for the match.  So that’s Vardy first goal scorer at 6.20 at Stake then Ronaldo last goal scorer at 3.50 at FJ.

It’s a decent Bellator event for the coming weekend.  I really don’t get excited when I get Corey Anderson in a UFC event but for Bellator it’s pump fist in the air card.  Lolol.  And Nemkov being the main event is always good.
I would say it's much Bellator better event than this week UFC event, we have both Light Heavyweight main and co-main event, I am excited to see Ryan Bader vs Corey Anderson in this grand prix semifinals!

^  I guess so...  But I feel like the quality of matches in the prelims and the under cards in the UFC are a lot better than the under cards they have at Bellator 268 event.

Anybody got some good spots, leans and picks for the event?  I feel like nobody is really taking some action in these Bellator events.  Lol.

Venue: UFC Apex

Main card (ESPN / ESPN+)
Women's Featherweight: Aspen Ladd vs. Norma Dumont
Heavyweight: Andrei Arlovski vs. Carlos Felipe
Lightweight: Jim Miller vs. Erick Gonzalez
Women's Flyweight: Manon Fiorot vs. Mayra Bueno Silva
Middleweight: Julian Marquez vs. Jordan Wright

Preliminary card (ESPN2 / ESPN+)
Middleweight: Andrew Sanchez vs.Bruno Silva
Welterweight: Danny Roberts vs. Ramazan Emeev
Women's Flyweight: Sijara Eubanks vs. Luana Carolina
Featherweight: Nate Landwehr vs. Ľudovít Klein
Bantamweight: Danaa Batgerel vs. Brandon Davis
Women's Strawweight: Istela Nunes vs. Ariane Carnelossi
I'm liking this card, as long as there's no late pull outs due to Covid19 or otherwise,  I think it'll be a competitive night across the board. Particularly interested in the  Andrew Sanchez vs Bruno Silva, glad that'll be in the Apex. I've quite liked what I've seen from Sijara Eubanks previously, and think she'll do well here. I'd say a pretty good start to the night for the preliminaries.

Main card, has some good match ups too. The main event will of course be entertaining, and I'm sure some of the more casual fans will be complaining about there being another womans fight headlining, but I've never really understood that attitude. Recently, their fights have been some of the more exicint ones.

I am definitely gonna watch Arlovski vs Felipe fight. Arlovski is experienced, but old. Once he was UFC champion, now he looks old I must say. Belly starts to appear. Felipe is young, fat and dangerous. He has a good UFC record of 3-1 (11-1 overall). This will be young vs experienced.

I'm fancying a go the distance bet here. I'll check the odds later, but them being on the heavier side, and having a oldie against a young fighter, might give us some good odds.

Lol the books are on to you.  The over 2.5 is around 1.50 and the fight goes to decision prop is at around 1.60 depending on the book.

^  Bottas giving it everything he’s got to protect Schumacher’s record and making sure that Hamilton will have one of the worst seasons in F1.  Cheesy  He’s making it harder for his team mate to win the championship than Verstappen.  Lol.

Ok since there’s an increasing number of people in the gambling section who rally watches F1 and bets on F1 instead of posting in here just for their sigs, let’s hear all your thoughts from a betting perspective.  I mean..  That’s what we’re all in here for right?  Wink  Or are we just bs’ing ourselves?
Personally, I don't bet much on F1. Sometimes I make H2H bets or bet on race winner. But it's not football or basketball, motorsport just isn't best sports.
I'm here more for discussions and it's great that we have people who are genuinely interested in F1 and we can have deeper discussion. Not like in most football threads :/.

What’s 10 bucks just to make the race more interesting?  Grin  If you win the bet then you can go bet 20 bucks on a football match.  Cheesy  Seriously tho..  There’s value to be had in these races.

Am I the only one thinking that BTC’s run up is starting to wane and will soon go flat for a couple of weeks, letting alts have the oppotunity to gain lost ground?  The money in these things always move from top to bottom...

Edit:  Wups..  there it goes.  Back to 54k then sideways action from the looks of it.

The hubris itt is hilarious.  Just don’t forget alts will most likely start trending up in a strong way right after BTC pumps start to wane.  And BTC is having its day now but watch dominance go down as alts make up for the lost ground.

...  Anyway, it’s always a good idea to always be humble.
