3601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The current world market situation. on: April 17, 2020, 07:43:58 PM
If you don't understand the effect of Corona on the global economy ! In the last 8 -12hrs , the US Crude oil is down by 31% , UK oil by 32%,  BTC by 12% and more  and other trading pair are falling deep. Crude oil seems dead now because they can't export it. Traders and investors needs to be careful now. This might be an unprecedented global recession. Now is not the time for long term Investment in real estate because when it goes bad, all those investment will be sold for pennies. So please hold your cash and follow the news.

Someone will ask that the funds that are leaving crude and stocks, where is it going ? It's simply being rolled into Fiat because everyone is careful of Investing at this time.
Talking about crude oil, I think the main thing that served as a catalyst in bringing down the price is the oil trade war. Coronavirus might have also contributed to it, just like it did to other markets as well. Other stocks like Dow Jones were seriously affected and fell down after a very long time.

Bitcoin was affected and dropped to a very low rate, the least that I expected it to, and that's $3k+. But the good news is that they have all been able to recover and things are getting back to normal now. Some countries now have plans to lift the lockdown so that some people can get back to work. I pray this comes to an end.
3602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: April 17, 2020, 07:21:20 PM
I still don't get all of these "companies" making people live with less when they could have literally paid all of this easily if they simply kept all the profits. Hell they could sell ownership a bit (like very very tiny) and still manage to pay everyone.

Now, it is said that Arsenal players are agreeing on a 12.5% cut for example, I get that players care about their health right now and nobody really thinks about the few hundred thousand pounds they are going to miss out on since they have millions of pounds but it is still sad that all of this trouble comes out of employees (even if they are million dollar worth) instead of employers, same goes for any business out there who doesn't pay their workers right now, either fires them or sends them on unpaid leave so forth, it is really sad sight to see.
3603  Economy / Economics / Re: Pandemic Coronvirus Impact On Global economy on: April 16, 2020, 01:41:10 PM
Interestingly when you are talking about decentralized economy being for gangster and thinking how crypto market is trap from whales, you are in bitcointalk and talking about crypto in between thousands of other bitcointalk members who like crypto. Surely there are people who have lost money in bitcoin, some people invested and the price went down and they sold and that is why we can say bitcoin has lost money to some people.

However you do realize that there is literally nothing that stopped you from buying 10k bitcoin 8-9 years ago and be super rich right now right? I mean you could have bought during that period and nobody could have stopped you and you would have millions of dollars of worth in bitcoin right now, as you can see that is why we like bitcoin, it is unregulated and its decentralized.
3604  Economy / Economics / Re: USD will lose its status of being reserve currency? I am scared. on: April 16, 2020, 09:08:22 AM
If you're afraid that the US dollar will lose its status as the world reserve currency, then you should consider other currencies and form of investments.

As for Bitcoin, I strongly believe that Bitcoin would still be good even if the USD should fall. I do hold some of my money as dollar investments, but that's not the only place I put my money, I am fond of diversifying my investments, although sometimes it doesn't really work out, but I still like the idea of doing that because it's always a way that you can escape things like these at times. You should invest in Bitcoin and look for other assets like gold and invest in them.
3605  Other / Politics & Society / Re: GLOBAL PANDEMIC - BLESSING IN DISGUISE on: April 16, 2020, 08:05:14 AM
The truth of the matter is this global pandemic is really changing lives and changing nations. Things that we gave little attention to like regular washing of hand, the use of sanitizers and social distancing is now a must. Some of our leaders are now building huge facilities to curb down the situation. The most important thing is when everything calms down the  world is going to view the digital currency in a different spectacle which cryptocurency is going to be a great beneficiary. Lets calm down and stay safe since we are not in normal times. There is always light at the end of the tunnel. The cashless world will be coming soon  Smiley
Well you're right about that. There are countries where the government never cared about the health system, all because they know that they have the money to travel out to better countries where there are good health systems and leave the poor people to suffer.

But in this situation, every country is in lockdown, and these same people are not allowed to travel anywhere, which means that they will have to start building their health systems starting from now. This will be a very big lesson to countries where the governments never cared about the health system. From now on they will focus on it, if not, then they are fools. I really hope that this situation comes to an end and people recover quickly, so that things can get back to normal.
3606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin's price, and mental health. on: April 16, 2020, 07:10:41 AM
The last thing I will ever do is take my life because of a difficult situation that I'm going through. Nah, I don't stress myself like that. Whatever that is meant to be will always be, it's up to you the way you stand up to it. You shouldn't let situations you go through make you feel depressed or whatsoever, you should learn to control your feelings and learn to have joy at all times.

Even if I should lose money here, I still wouldn't be bothered. And that reminds me, this is one of the reasons why we should all plan things ahead of times. Imagine those that invested more than they can afford to risk at this time, they will be the ones regretting more. No one ever expected this Coronavirus to come out of nowhere and wreck things like this.
3607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which will do better in this Economic Crisis ??? BITCOIN or GOLD ??? on: April 16, 2020, 06:12:57 AM
I do like Bitcoin, but I am not surprised about what happened recently. Right from time we have all known that Bitcoin is a volatile asset, and anyone that says that they are not aware of that is a big liar. Bitcoin is a volatile asset, so you're not meant to believe those that are saying it's a safe haven. When you invest in bitcoin you're doing so at your own risk, and might lose your money.

But despite what has happened, I'm still not going to stop buying Bitcoin, as long as I have the money I am going to buy and store them in my wallet. Bitcoin has proven to be good when you invest in a long term, the problem is that not everyone can hold for long. Most people here are just looking for quick profit.
3608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn and learn and keep learning will safe you from lots of foul play on: April 15, 2020, 07:22:45 PM
Honestly If anyone just come into crypto space through a link or online ads it's easier to get lost and fall victim to scams, i never get hacked for once or lost money to scam projects simply because I favoured learning things I don't know anything about, why can't people be like this either? This will easily safe you from money doubling schemes and Ponzi schemes, please newcomers and members, be more willing to learn.
Yup, that's so right! Learning never ends. There is no level that you will reach and learning would end. As you keep learning, the more you will get to know about things that you never knew before. When I started cryptocurrency, and not just cryptocurrencies alone, including other online investments, I don't rush into anything I see.

There are some sites I will see, no matter how good they look, I will still go to Google and search for reviews about them to know what others think about them and whether they are scammers or not. This is very important, especially when you're a newbie, because you're still new and you don't understand how things works here. So you need to rely on doing research to help yourself out.
3609  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 15, 2020, 06:09:21 PM
How can we safe ourselves from well organized scam projects? Some projects are so well crafted and in the end they scam people, to my own understand research doesn't help here at all, use case, whitepaper, team, every thing are so real and make sense, please give advice about this
Yes, you're not lying about this. There are some scam projects that are well organized and people don't know that they are scammers until they carry out their plans and by then it's already too late to do anything about it. But, I still think that it is possible to find out at the earlier time, and that's with the team.

If you want to play it safe, you should check out the team that's running this project and get to know their social media handles on Twitter and LinkedIn. After you have gotten their handles, you should check them out on those platforms and see when they have been active, and if they are still new accounts, then you will have to be wary of them.
3610  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum prices can tremendously shoot upwards thanks to Reddit. on: April 15, 2020, 09:59:43 AM
Well, another question you should be asking yourself is - what is the purpose for those that will be adopting the Ethereum coin? What if they all install wallets that would let them receive Ethereum just so that they can receive and sell it immediately to fiat and nothing more? When they are receiving and selling, then that's not going to be making any impact.

The only time that it's going to help is when the community brings more investors to Ethereum and lots of people from Reddit starts investing their money in Ethereum and storing it, and not just receiving and selling them immediately to fiat. Anyway, I can't tell what would happen then from now. We can only just wait till then and see for ourselves.
3611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trade and make a profit in a Volatile market on: April 14, 2020, 06:25:26 PM
in crypto trading the way you earn a profit is to face any circumstance in volatility part of the market. You can't earn in stable market flow. However, if you are lack knowledge in trading, that is not good advice if you continue trading because you probably lost your capital. Be researchful and should be knowledgeable so that you will know how to execute when to stop-loss.
Lol I don't think any market will remain stable so that traders cannot earn from it. I guess people will call markets in stable condition when it will be moving in highly predictable way. Only when market is showing unpredictable ups and downs, people will call it highly volatile.

I agree knowledge is very important in trading and when trader feels like not having enough knowledge about handling market volatility then it should be highly recommended to stop trading right away until gaining enough knowledge to handle all kind of market conditions. Being research-full may help anyone to acquire knowledge on various strategies of trading and this way and this way entering into market and exiting at profits or at stop-loss will not be a big thing.
3612  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: April 14, 2020, 04:29:43 PM
Lack of security really takes the cake there. I mean think about it, you can go to any exchanges telegram group, change your name to "official exchange support person" or whatever and then you can message people and try to scam them.

Surely at this day and age, you are not going to convince all that many people to either give you their details, or even give you money, or basically anything, people are smarter these days and out of 1000 people you try to talk to maybe just 1-2 of them would really fall for it, but it happens and that is why it is a problem.

Plus, you can literally get as many people as you can together in a group if you want, then advertise fake stuff and pin them at the top and hope that some of them would click it, which is why its quite easy to associate it with scammers.
3613  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What matters to grow the price of an Altcoin on: April 14, 2020, 10:40:02 AM
the best way to do that is to develop their products. You know, when they make the product they need, demand will come to them, and that will make the price go up. many altcoin prices are down because their products are not sought after by people.
What do you mean by products? I believe not all altcoin projects are having their own product so that they will produce those products to get more value for their coin. For example, monero is a privacy oriented coin and whenever people want their transactions not be to traced then they may buy and use monero. Here, how those monero devs can increase the adoption of their coins. There is only application for their coin and there is no actual product on which they could create demands.

Another study case we can have here is BNB. Who ever trading in binance may pay exchange fee in BNB to enjoy some discount. When binance is doing better more people will choose that exchange so that obviously they may prefer to have BNB for reduced fee. This way BNB will get more adopters which will end up in more value for BNB.
3614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: P2P online games with BTC on: April 14, 2020, 09:57:46 AM
I don't think any of such games are available in crypto gambling platforms. I would also love to add Clash Royal type of games for gambling but couldn't find any such platform yet. It is probably due to higher chance of cheating that is possible in such games and also high expense in maintaining such gaming servers.
Clash Royal? I never come across such gambling type.

But, I am sure about coding a versatile system where no one is able to cheat/hack is possible regardless of what type of games we are going to implement. I am just taking generally and not with respect to exact game like clash royal. Because, I believe into the power of prevention measurements where we can stop any exploit of system but obviously it might cost more compared to expected revenue once such games go live.

I believe that almost all the crypto gambling houses are looking for implementing new games nowadays. If they get know about such new games then definitely they will start working on those new things.
3615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best time to begin your gambling affiliate journey. on: April 14, 2020, 08:37:40 AM
Is it really worth a shot if you don't have that much of people that love gambling? I think it's just a pipe dream for those who don't have that much people to get. Yeah, we've seen people that earns on affiliate but they can be counted more likely it's just a gamble as well especially on diligence and time.
You are too conservative. You must keep on trying so that you could achieve anything. I believe it is not that hard to find new people to get joining in a gambling house using our referral link. It is possible if you keep on searching on various social media and other part of Internet where most people are surfing right now. You may talk to 10 people and out of the them one or two may join as your affiliate. This is how most successful affiliate promoters are doing and you cannot expect all 10 people to turn us your affiliate.

If you understand this fact then you will not stop other people trying.
3616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino workers, asking for salary during the shutdown on: April 14, 2020, 08:06:34 AM
People who do not work see their income being cut during this period of lockdown and coronavirus. However, the bills are running and need to get paid.
It is normal that the workers are asking to get paid and I hope they will be.
This must be a pathetic situation for most people around the world; I'm not sure how people are going to manage for their living without getting proper income from their employers; at the same time we cannot blame employers because they are not having usual business is running so that they could pay their employees. This is not just a situation of casino industry but everywhere we are seeing similar situations and people are suffering due to lock down.

Other than praying and hoping about all these pandemic situations will come to an end very soon so that everything in this world will get restored as the early as possible, we are not having anything else to do. I made few donations for few industry based people through their authorities and I am not sure how long I will be in a position to donate Sad.
3617  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Type of wallets and questions on: April 13, 2020, 07:44:56 PM
I have been making use of mobile wallets since I got to know what cryptocurrency is all about and I have never had any issues with them, and as a matter of fact the first wallet I ever used is a mobile wallet. First time I got to know about Bitcoin was while I was doing a research on my phone, and I wrote down the name. Later on I did a serious research on it.

The first place I got to know about it they referred to it as a payment method, but after my research I got to know that it can as well be an investment and has a volatile nature. The first wallet I used was Coinbase mobile wallet, and also installed Xapo wallet (back then when it had a black interface, before the new interface it has now).
3618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Now is a good time on: April 13, 2020, 05:08:59 PM
I’d say that network providers should do their part at this time by offering free services or at least reducing the rate for most of their services. We are all in this together, so they should try to support the people and not make things more difficult.

There isn’t really anything that one can do at this time to have fun if not social media, so they should try to consider. Network providers where I live has not been doing much, all they did was just a very little decrease to what we pay for data, and to me the cut off they did is completely useless, they are better off leaving it the way it was. That’s what happens when you’re living in countries where nobody cares.
3619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Role of the crypto in the incoming global crisis on: April 13, 2020, 02:01:52 PM
There are different types of speculations are going on right now with respect to how this crypto world is going to react against the upcoming global economic crisis. I am sure crypto will become more attractive when economic slowdown happening because people will not choose stocks or commodities for good returns for their capital but they will start looking into alternative investments so that they will get more returns for any given time frame.

Please remember that cryptos have been proved as one of the highly profitable alternative investment type. So, we can expect more number of investors will be turning into crypto investments. This will make bitcoin to be testing any big levels which could be even $100k too and altcoins may increase in equal ratio as well because investors will invest into altcoins also for diversification reasons.
3620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: April 13, 2020, 01:26:04 PM
i’m not new in the world of crypto but I never did an investment for lack of money, but now I recived a good amount of money and i want to buy&diversify my portfolio.
So I just bought a Ledger Nano X and want to know which are the best project to invest.
I always look with interest at $GNT, for their great  idea of decentralizing computing and $BAT , and other suggest?
You must diversify your portfolio only after bitcoin in major portion. You're not the first person I am coming across who is not caring about investing into the highly promising crypto but looking for other things in the name of diversifying. You people are simply making big mistake of your lifetime in my opinion. Moreover, it would be good if you share how much amount of money you have received so that people will suggest accordingly.

I highly recommend you to go for investing at least 80% of money into bitcoins and only for the rest of 20% you may look for other altcoins. (In some sense you are indirectly paying to advertise GNT and BAT but this forum members are highly intelligent and they will not get misled by the people like you on showing where you do invest randomly).
