3602  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Nigeria Local Board, All board discussion welcomed. {No Official Language} on: September 02, 2021, 10:51:34 AM
Main board: Naija crypto discussion (which can comprise of all news related to crypto and naija discussion

Childboard: economics, naija vibes, music, sport, politics and legal
Any board we are requesting must be similar or exactly the same as boards represented in the main forum.
Sports, vibes, music etc are all off topic discussions and 1 off topic board would cover them.
I believe crypto discuss should be split into 2, as it is in the main forum, Bitcoin discussion and Altcoin discussion.
Politics is a recurring topic of debate on this thread and would make an interesting child board as well.
E dey sweet me to see say, we no dey give up this fight, that na 0ne better thing way we dey do for ourselves and people way dey head am, I must commend una say, una dey try wella. Charlie, I don see watin you dey talk even before and now say, most of them dey make sense. If you recall cef, e get when you talk about criteria way fit make us get local board way support say, we need get childboard them plenty way normally no go sure for the forum say, e full for the other languages section. That go make for see reason why them go give us local board con convert every every to childboard to ensure say, the forum decent.

3603  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I get merit as a newbie? on: September 02, 2021, 12:10:08 AM
Sometimes, I wonder how you guys do it @OP, how you arrive at the fact that, merits is the most importance in just few hours.

You registered this account not up to 2 days ago and somehow, you've figured out why you must earn merits even though you claim not to have knowledge of what it really is. It sounds kind of rhetorical to me, you've already identified the ranks that matters and all. The newbies we have these days must all be geniuses, you make your first post and boom, its about merits!

Anyway, given the benefit of the doubt, I would suggest you go for a more less guides on how and actually gain knowledge of the crypto field and forum. Merit matters only to the forum but beyond that, its useless. The knowledge you might acquire here on the other hand, it goes beyond forum, it even applies to investments and daily lives. They are that practical so, you could be seeking those and the merits would find you.

Redefine your concerns and you just might start getting a hang of the forum.

3605  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you have a separate phone/PC for crypto? on: September 01, 2021, 09:47:02 PM
Having separate devices to handle a particular aspect of your online investment isin many ways an added advantage towards your focus and level of determination at that thing. In some way, you feel a sense of duty when at work with that device.its more like someone who works from an office and someone who works from home. You might not agree but, you'll be more focused on your job while in your office than you would be whole at home. The office offers less and less distractions compared to when your at home. So also is the case when it comes to having separate devices to suit certain purposes.

Another thing that really matters is how you stalk the devices with unnecessary tools or apps. Most persons have got apps on there devices that aren't used months to months and then, you begin to ask yourself why do you have them. Uninstall or delete to ensure optimum performance and avoid unnecessary downloads, sticking to what works.
3606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learnt from Someone's mistake on: September 01, 2021, 09:22:16 PM
It's better to learn from someone else's mistake than to be a victim also, its also better to be a victim and learn from your mistake than not learn anything at all and be susceptible to that mistake in the near future. You and your friend did trek on a dangerous part when it comes to investments and by investments, I'm not limiting it to cryptos only, I mean all round. You don't bank your ideas based on what the CEO or project team would say, it doesn't necessarily mean it would be a scam project or whatever but, you don't expect the CEO or team to speak ills of there projects its always going to be credits at the expense of others.

Always learn to do your own investigations and never fail to learn what you can out of a failed experience!
3607  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Who sets the price for crypto currency? on: September 01, 2021, 08:45:10 PM
Short answer: supply and demand

Slightly longer answer: The price of a certain cryptocurrency on a certain exchange is set by the latest buy or sell offer that has been executed on an exchange. As for the prices you see on CoinMarketCap, it's the average price of that certain asset on all the listed exchanges.
Bitcoin has limited supply of 21 million coins,
These are some of the best answers to your question @OP and it won't be wrong either to put it to you that, you do set the price if bitcoin. Its not some  abstract thing but, each time you hodl or sell a coin, you create some sort of value  for that coin because, your either flooding the market with it or ensuring its limited supply where as, its scarcity and that's how the law of demand and supply works.

Bitcoin is limited in its supply to what is stated above but  then, not all are in circulation yet and should it be that, the last bitcoin minded someday, not all of it would be ready for sales in the market and as such, the price continues to be determined by this actions of crypto enthusiast.
3608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Welcome to the last quarter of 2021, prepare for the profit coming. on: September 01, 2021, 08:26:12 PM
Do not be of the opinion that a coin has already increase in price therefore it can not increase further when they are quality projects, such mindset should not make you go searching for new gem and end up buying into Scam coins instead explore more possibilities in those well known project. Project like Solana, DOT, BNB, BTC, ETH can still give you good profit and you investing now does not mean you would be profiting less.
You see that's the kind of opinion that makes people loose opportunities. The opinion that, a thing has gone too high or not just low enough to either buy or sell depending on the thrilling circumstances. It's another way of welcoming or giving yourself up to procrastination you know, the next thing you know is waiting and waiting for now definite time and thing.
Well, its always safe to invest in the listed coins especially, BTC, ETH, BNB, XRP but then, there is also an opportunity in altcoins, you've just got to ensure what your investing in isn't a shitcoin but how could you tell!
3609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mobile phone vs. laptop vs. tab...what's your preferred device for day trading? on: August 31, 2021, 07:56:46 PM
Of the most importance about trading is the knowledge, the prior experience you've got about the market. That aside, devices plays a role in spotting some quick opportunities in the market. The laptop or desktop is the most advantageous of all when it comes to comparing it with tablet and mobile phones. The user interface is great when working with a larger screen, more icons and shortcuts to the indicators and even placing them. Though, putting your phones in landscape mood might offfer similar advantage but then, its nothing compared to desktops and laptops.
3610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading involvement on: August 31, 2021, 07:05:01 PM
It is always true that people are "to see is to believe" because now my family has also entered the crypto world through trading. More surprising because even my 4 year old child also knows the trading site and knows how to spot buying and selling which is proof that it is not hard to teach others about cryptocurrency as long as they believe on us.

Seeing is believing no doubt but something caught my fancy after going through your content and that thing is 'the possibility of a four year old child spotting a buy and a sell'. Perhaps Perhaps think by this, you just imply the buy and sell candles as it deals with colours more often other than, actually spotting a buying or selling opportunity through market signals because that, I would be in great disbelief about.

Anyway, the crypto industry is an interesting one to only those who know, a familiar term to those who don't believe and a complete scam to some others with prior bad experience. So, its always best they see the results and let them come begging for an introduction.
3611  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Cryptocurrency Spoofing/Wash Selling on: August 31, 2021, 04:03:28 PM
Have you wondered how whales deal in the markets and those crazy influences and powers they have?
Below we will explain to you one of the cheating methods.
Warning: Spoofing is an illegal strategy in equity exchanges. When you buy or sell a cryptocurrency, it has some hallmarks of trading official currencies, such as the Euro, U.S. Dollar, and Japanese Yen.
This is more of a strategy in the forex market trading than in the crypto trading from what I read here Nf it is a very wrong method to go about trading. Little wonder how some currencies tends to go up even without news and then falls very sharpy. It is a tricky move indeed as, it creates the desired volatility on  pair and for some trader who depends largely on indicators to place trades, it would be a knockout blow. It would be a wonderful idea should exchanges be deep in the right against spoof trading, to ensure genuine hope for the funds and trades of a common trader else, trading just became scam for the common traders.

A little solution could be embedded it in there terns and conditions and do like the betting and casino platforms do at times. Locking od accounts with funds and sanctioning defaulters.
3612  Economy / Reputation / Re: Upgrade to Senior member rank - Congratulatory message on: August 30, 2021, 09:30:35 PM
At this milestone of a senior member rank, one could be able to relax and say yes, my efforts paid off but don't, because the road ahead has got more difficulty than you've walked. You came here a newbie @OP and amongst all odds, you chose to stay and have been really great at it since then. From what I've note about you, you have your way, your approach towards the things in the forum and you do your best in keeping it 100% with your real life reality. Your an evidence of one that can make it to the ranks in less than a year and I hope other beginners that aspires to archive this milestone can learn from you and learn from the fact that, it pays to be original and to keep persevering.

3614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 06:52:11 PM
I have to give it to them guys, Liverpool 1:1 Chelsea was the game for the day and it turned out to be so, being very entertaining. You can imagine Chelsea being able to absorb all the pressure from the Liverpool side as though, it was nothing, even with a one man down, they still managed to attempt some counters even if it was poorly coordinated. The defense on the other hand was a whole different story, the coordination was on point, they knew when to rush, replace a defender and form some sort of a clustered barrier against some attack formation from the Liverpool side. The whole Chelsea team deserves an applaud, E. Mendy was on point in this one and Tuchel is the big brains behind it all. Very entertaining, good one for Chelsea!
3615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 05:31:28 PM
Oh! Chelsea did a very stupid thing with that mistake. Such a stupid thing to have resulted in that penalty and consequently a red card. All that could have been avoided should Marcos Alonso had left that ball for E. Mendy to get a hold of it. Just minutes after I thought there was no chance for Liverpool to get back into the game, they've turned to have a hold on the game with Chelsea being a man down and Liverpool have got the home advantage as well. I won't be surprised to see Chelsea coming off in the second half with a more defensive strategy but I'm not sure that would help such because, it would put the team under pressure and trust me, Liverpool is good for it.
3616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 05:05:58 PM
stats of the last 3 arsenal games in the premier league:

Arsenal 0 - 2 Brentford

Arsenal 0 - 2 chelsea

Arsenal 0 - 5 City

the weird part is that the arsenal failed to score at least 1 goal in the last 3 premier league games but managed to score 6 goals in the game against west bromwich in the EFL Cup, what's wrong with the arsenal?
Very weird indeed. Take Arsenal out of the EPL and you would see them coming off with some wonderful game plan but when it comes to the EPL, you see them not making any impact at all. It's surprising how they were able to manage it and score 6 goals in one game of the EFL but couldn't score a single goal in all 3 fixtures of the EPL games.

It's Liverpool 0:1 Chelsea now. A really tough game for sure and I think Liverpool has .are a big mistake by letting Chelsea be the first goal scorer. Chelsea has got a taste for a win and theybare also good defensively so, its not going to be easy for Liverpool to get back into this game though, there is still enough time.
3617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 01:38:13 PM
FT Manchester City 5:0 Arsenal

This was a no contest game for Pep and i really feel Arsenal was lucky to have ended up, taking just 5 goals. After the events in the first half, I was hoping to see a 6 goal scoreline in this fixture and I'm sure given the time, Manchester City won't have disappointed me. Arsenal is far off from what it uses to be and Arteta is the man to blame for all this. Too bad for bettors that would have hoped and staked for a goal-goal market, loosing Xakha even before the game was properly set with a 2 goals down wasn't going to work so well. Manchester City just got the goal difference they wanted and another 3 points safely bagged.
3618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 12:40:01 PM
It seems that in the middle of the season someone will be fired, we know this is not how Arsenal play even their performance is worse than the promoted team
It's so funny to hear you say that, especially with the fact that, its a likely possibility but, the feeling that someone is going to loose his job is what makes it sad. On a general, M. Arteta isn't helping at all, his just been making the squad his got look so bad in the EPL. The promoted teams seems to be doing even better and you can see that in the challenges they pose in there games. Arsenal on the other hand even with the lots of experience in the EPL are just up for no good.

It's been very frustrating watching this game, even not as a strong supporter of Arsenal, I feel they could have done more. I seat what I see here is the whole game being played almost entirely in the Arsenal half. Worstcase now is, the team is down by one man which city would capitalise on for a rush to score more and more goals. Half time, and it's City 3:0 Arsenal, same scoreline in the first half game between West Brom and Arsenal few days ago... could this be karma coming to play out, Lol...
3619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: August 28, 2021, 11:47:38 AM
Lol, it's barely minutes into the match and Arsenal is already loosing to Manchester City by 1 goal. Somehow, I felt Arsenal had there best game against West Bromwich Albion in the EFL and as such, they were bound to have a frustrating EPL as its been the case with them so far. Pep Guardiola is sure to have seen the Arsenal last game and did his home work, knowing that, he wasn't going to take chances coupled with the fact that, his 3 points down. Arsenal is in for some serious beat down for sure as, Manchester City is always about the goal rush after scoring an early gaol like this one.
3620  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make a popular auction? on: August 26, 2021, 07:52:42 PM
Well OP, its a good thing you've got an art of some value to you and what you want to find out is how much value it might be to someone else in payment of an acceptable form as that's the idea of auctions. From my expertise, what you've hot there is an NFT and to sell those, should you think its worth anything of value at all, you should be willing to go the length and not cut corners. There are sites that have got the publicity and all you've got to do is to pay for them to have your NFT displayed and auctioned for you. I won't want to give a lists on any site but, you could research and find one that suits your purpose to do business with.
