3601  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: January 30, 2022, 04:52:36 PM
I do not understand how you would not check the house edge of a place that you gamble. At the end of the day we are talking about the most important part of the casino. If you are not really someone who did not gamble based on the house edge then you are not going to get what you want out of a casino as well.

House edge is the number one important thing since it is the number that decides how much you win and how much you lose. If you play on a place with a super high house edge then you are getting something that is very bad in return and if you gamble on a place with a lot less house edge then there is a bigger chance for you to win something in return.
Yes, I am a fan of bitsler.com and I usually play on bitsler if I play with crypto. And if I play with skrill then I play on bet365. But I have never checked the house edge for any of these two sites. From this post I came to know how important a house edge is!
I mean, you can still keep it going if you like it that way? I didn't mean to hurt anyone's feelings or anything like that, this is just a simple thing that you do not have to worry about, and the reality is that if you are not spending too much money and you are only focused on having fun? Then the house edge doesn't really matter, even in that case it would be wiser to not get "scammed" by 10%+ house edge in some shady places, but 1-2% is the industry average here in crypto so I am guessing most places have the same.

There are a few with 5% but they give out too much prizes and that is how they justify it. So, if you are not playing in some unknown brand new casino, you are not going to get scammed. I just meant that, it is so easy and probably the first thing I ever look when gambling, I do not know why anyone else would end up not even looking at it.

Have you placed any bets yet? Try a $10 risk-free bet. The Miami Heat's match against the Los Angeles Clippers is sure to be an exciting game today, with the Risk-Free NBA Bet on the Clippers Offer from Duelbits. Let's guess and see if you can do it. The promotions Duelbits run in conjunction with basketball games must be quite popular right now. Bet on basketball while Duelbits offers higher odds.

https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1487062842541027333
Not very familiar with NBA but will try  Smiley I also saw Duelbits proudly announcing one of the players gets a big win on sports betting
To celebrate this first big win Duelbits is giving away $500 to lucky follower the requirements are quite easy just retweet and tag a friend good luck
https://twitter.com/Duelbits/status/1486686608036442118
I am very fond of NBA and I can say that it is still not easy, so do not be worried. Plus I have gambled on many casino games that I have never played before and do not know the rules about and yet I still managed to make some profit from them when there was a promotion and I wanted to test it, and I had plenty of times where I gambled on the games that I know and yet I still ended up losing a lot.

It is a bit about luck, that is all gambling is about right? Luck. If you are lucky then you could win anything and if you are unlucky then you will lose. NBA is a bit like that, best teams could end up losing to worst teams, or best teams could end up with 20+ win streaks, who knows? I would say go for it, have fun, and see if you will like it, when you wager on a game then it becomes a very entertaining game to watch, much better to watch that way then without gambling.
3603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: True Value of BTC on: January 30, 2022, 02:48:01 PM
The value for most things usually comes from the demand and supply. But, if you should take away the demand and supply, maybe we would say that the value should come from the cost that it takes to produce that product. So, maybe we can use another product in this context, let’s say for example a bottle of coke: if we are to say what’s the value of a bottle of coke, then we would have to talk about the ingredients that were used in making that coke, and if what it cost to make that Coke was $10, maybe we can say the value is $10 , because that’s what it cost to produce it.

And if you are going to sell it, you already know for sure that you wouldn’t be selling it anything below that $10, if you do, then it’s going to be a loss for you. So for Bitcoin, we can say that the cost for mining one Bitcoin should be the value for it I guess. But at the end, if something doesn’t have demand, then it’s of no use.

^^Did WoF became something you can get by buying it? Like is there an entry ticket sort of thing? As far as I am aware of it, we are getting it for free right? If we are getting it for free, I do not get why people are talking about how much you can get from it, and if it is going down or going up or staying the same. I mean it is free, it could be 1 satoshi, it could be under 1 cents, who cares? It is literally free.

If you are complaining about not getting enough money for one spin of the wheel, which you got for free, then I am sorry but you will always be wrong. If you are given money for free, the amount never matters, it is always a good thing because it is free money, you didn't spend anything, it is not gambling, it is literally free.
3605  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 30, 2022, 10:31:19 AM
Anyway, he is making a lot of money just by playing some slots and entertaining people with his reactions.
He has made it profession and you see he is doing quite well in that like earning good amount from these sponsored deals from different casinos, giving away to the viewers and then secondary income from steaming platforms and preety sure he streams on various platforms along with YouTube. So he's earning by entraining people and himself by just gambling.
It is not even that easy to get people to watch you. Just to give an example, God of War came to PC recently, which made A LOT of streamers to play it on their platform. This meant that for a while that was the most played game, just like when it first came out, but some people had 10 viewers, some had 100k viewers, and that's the difference. Same game, so it is not like "you just sit there and play a game", if that was the case then 10 vs 100k difference wouldn't happen since they are both doing the same thing.

The difference is what you bring to the table, if you are good and liked then people would watch you, if you are not then people would stop and go to some other streamer. This is the same thing, people can gamble, you can gamble, you can also open up a twitch stream or whatever platform and gamble live, nothing stops you, BUT would you be able to get as many viewers as these people? Doubtful.

Wanted to try out your sportsbook but there is no NBA to be found anywhere? Not in pre-match betting and not in livebetting?
Why are you offering all kinds of basketball leagues but not the most famous and popular one in the world? Very strange....
There is currently no live NBA match taking place today, but I believe there is pre-match betting[1] available in Roobet's sportbooks. Moreover, all of the matches I've discovered from the NBA Basketball schedule on ESPN[2] are the same with Roobet.

[1] https://roobet.com/sportsbetting/hub88:btsg_sportbetting
[2] https://www.espn.com/nba/schedule
Basically it is about navigation I suppose. If people are having hard time finding something that is there, then it is still a problem for roobet. I am not trying to complain or anything, I have gambled here for a long time and I know where things are and I do not want to give a feedback just for giving a feedbacks sake, this is a very tiny and minor thing that roobet doesn't have to do anything about anytime soon.

The reality is that if there are people who fail to find something when it is there, then roobet needs to ask itself if they are doing something wrong, after all they just lost a customer bet there when the guy was ready to gamble and failed to find it.
3607  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Most Popular Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - Watford & UFC Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 27, 2022, 10:14:44 PM
This is the problem with people who complain about casinos. If you would like to complain about a casino, then write a detailed page about how you were scammed, what are your complaints, what is your proof that you have been scammed, is there a way they could have avoided it, is there a way we can see and believe you, and write it in a new topic at scam accusations page and then come here and notify people of the existence of that page. Is that too hard?

If I ever get scammed anywhere, I will do that, not that I have been scammed before so maybe people go mad when they do, but I am 100% sure stake wouldn't scam anyone, not for 1 bitcoin, not for 100, they are making enough profit anyway.
3608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: January 27, 2022, 09:41:08 PM
When you get a lot of bench points, you will end up beating most teams. Most of the time teams rely on their starters to be the best they could be, and bench to just keep the game as it is, but when you get a lot of bench help, that will make the game easier for you. Cavs got some help, and that was great for them, but Bucks didn't get much which basically decided the game.

Lakers are not officially out of playoff spot, 9th in the west. They could still play in the play-in tournament if the league ended today, but that is just the proof that they are doing terrible. If they do not make some changes before the deadline, they are going to suck. All this talk about wall for westbrook is not enough, wall is not good enough player at all, he will not change much, they need someone else. Jerami Grant wants out, maybe they could get to talking with them? It could provide useful.

Honestly this squid game thing became a bit of a problem if you ask me. We had squit token that stole so much money from so many people that I am looking at these things with a grain of salt these days.

Why do people have a need to connect themselves to a show or anything popular? I mean it is games, and we can play games and we could win something from playing those games, why do we need to connect the name to a netflix show? Can't we do an original one? Name it "first of annual biswap games!" or something and people would still play there, at the end of the day people care about how much they will win and not what they are going to win.
Greetings! This question is more for the Biswap marketing team. However, we are grateful for any feedback! In the case of Betfury, we just want to offer more utilities for BFG tokens. And it's best to do it with reliable partners.
I do not think that you can get away with something like that just because they are the ones naming it. I do not care what they are doing because they are not the place that I am the fan of, I am fan of here and only here, and yes you partnered with them but I will not go ask them why they are doing something bad, because I do not care about them, however I will ask you why you are partnering and participating in something bad because I care about you, it comes from a place of love so do not get me wrong.

If they do something wrong, then you do not have to join in just because they are your partners, you should be able to say no. In any case, this isn't that big, this was just an idea that came to my mind and I just wanted to share it, it is fine, not a big deal, so don't worry.
3610  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: January 26, 2022, 10:10:41 PM
For me personally my own gameplay is that matters the most because I have to play according to funds that i have and my own favourite slots and other games so why copy someone else in gambling if results are totally unpredictable? In my opinion as you said making your own paths is best way to proceed in gambling and make some profits along with losses as they can't be avoided.
The way you are gambling is not something that many people in the gambling world does. That is the method we should be using to gamble but there are so many things that distract people from their own way and gamble some other way. For example, if they see someone winning a huge amount, they get hyped and they try to gamble that way as well. Or they could see competitions that award so much and they try to win that competition, even though they are not whales and can't win, which end up depleting their bankroll as well.

There are many other reasons, and because of these reasons people end up gambling the way they do not want to gamble or they can't afford to gamble which results with them losing all of their money quicker than they normally would. People like you and me, we know how we should play based on how much we have and that is why even if we lose, we lose on our own terms.
3611  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will owning 0.01 BTC really make you rich? on: January 26, 2022, 09:15:06 PM
Nobody can tell you whether you are going to be a millionaire or not, and moreover you don’t even know the future of the market, just because someone told you that you can buy 0.01 BTC and save it to become a millionaire, doesn’t mean that would be the case in the future. You might end up even not getting anything.  The right thing for you to do is to start making plans on how you can attain that level.

For myself, I don’t really rely too much on Bitcoin, and I don’t have a particular amount that I would have to own, I’m just investing as much as possible, and every time I have the money to invest I invest it and hold it in my wallet. And then when I realize profit from it, I take a part of the profit and also invest in other business that I’m into.

So, being millionaire is not something that you have to rely on bitcoin for you to achieve, there other things you can do as well, try them out for yourself while you are also investing in Bitcoin. Try to engineer your wealth and not be lazy and expect magic to happen, I’m tired of people seeing bitcoin as a magical means to make money and become rich overnight. This is why many has been misled.

3613  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Investor Psychology on: January 26, 2022, 06:52:27 PM
That’s one of the biggest mistakes that a lot of people make. They want to get in and start investing when the market is increasing in value, because they feel that it would keep going up, and that’s why a lot of people would make the mistake of buying when the market is at its peak.

I have seen a lot of people, including my friends that would invest in bitcoin when it is at its peak, and they would lose their money as the market dips. That’s something I try to avoid a lot. I make use of dollar cost averaging at a time when the market is at its lowest ; I invest little amount that I can afford to hold till the bullish trend starts. You wouldn’t feel any much pressure when you’re using dollar cost averaging, it would seem like making savings.

Well he do earn percentage of his winning though, I cant recall but it seems that someone wrote it in this thread. So yeah he doesnt really need to wager that much, all he needs to do is to win couple hundred thousand and he is done with his stream. Anyway my point is that he doesnt need to wager that much or try to stand on top of the all time leaderboard, he is a streamer ( entertainer if you would love to this word better ) not really a 'player' because his balance came from sponsored funds
That's true he is only steaming for entertainment purposes and earn his share from the sponsored money so why would he even care to remain on top or below at leaderboard at all.The others are gambling hard with big amounts as we see some whales also wagering millions over Rollbit in top 10.
I would guess that these type of people create some interest for the casino and that's worth the amount of money they spend on him. Otherwise why would they do it? I mean, as a marketing thing if they distributed that money to all that gambled, it would be a lot less money, like for every bet you make over 100 dollars, you get 1 dollar, and that would be not profitable for them at all, but would distribute the same amount of money.

Whereas here, they are giving it to just one person and apparently that person makes them a lot more money and that makes sense in a way, they have the data for it and we do not but I suppose it must be good since they keep doing it.

The house edge of the dice game is 1% at Bitsler and it remains same always. I believe you (shasan) are mixing up the house edge and bet payout here.
I usually bet on bitsler. But I have not read this page I was not aware about the house edge. I have just checked after seeing the question. I have checked on boom and it was 2% yet still I am partially wrong. But now I and the person who had made the question are clear about the house edge of bitsler.

3616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finally got paid for some work in bitcoin on: January 25, 2022, 03:56:44 PM
I write apps for a living.  Someone wanted a crypto one done and they paid me in bitcoin. Living the dream.
That’s really cool. The first time I got paid in Bitcoin was through a job I got on linkedin.com, I was given an option to either receive my payment through PayPal or through Bitcoin, and I didn’t waste time in choosing Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a really cool invention and it has changed a lot of things on how we operate our finance. And it is usually the best choice for a lot of people, especially myself, because with Bitcoin I’m able to reduce the cost of the transactions I make.

And apart from the cost that is being reduced, another thing is that it makes the transaction to be quick. Unlike other payment methods, you don’t have to wait for days, or have any issue at all with anyone, because you are the one who is in total control of your wallet.
3617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New meme coin? on: January 24, 2022, 10:01:36 PM
You were too fast, you already bought the coin before even asking the question on the forum. You should have waited to see what other people would say about this project before you rush to buy it. Investment is a risky business, and anyone who is doing cryptocurrency investment shouldn’t always be in a hurry, but rather should always have a calm mind and make sure that whatever risk that they are taking is calculated.

I do know that meme coins has been a huge hype since last year, but don’t forget that hype doesn’t really mean that a project cannot turn out to be a scam letter. And I don’t like projects that can’t have a unique name and idea for themselves, but rather prefers to copy from another project.
3618  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 24, 2022, 08:36:12 PM
Getting merit just because an artwork is incredibly done is not an issue. In fact, they deserved to be recognized and praised by others who were blown away by their work, especially for an artwork that required the integration of a brand and a roobet mascot. It's no problem

Looking back on the Bitcointalk 10th Anniversary contest, receiving a fuck ton of merit from various members isn't an issue, whether it's from solicitation or organic appreciation. Still, a well-received piece of art is preferable than a shallow and meaningless post that was created out of thin air.
Another thing is, merit is not guaranteed, you are at the mercy of the people who will give it to you and if they do end up giving some to you then you could do it but in the end it is totally up to guess if you will get anything or not. Same goes for roobet competition prizes as well but at least you know that you will be in contention, they will look at it and if you have confidence on your art work then you are going to win something if it is as good as you think. That is why I do not think that it is done for merit, but it is done to win something. I doubt that there is a single person who posted something to get merit without any belief they would win anything else.
3619  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 24, 2022, 07:11:02 PM
it’s common to see users hide their username, but at times whales like to display their names because I feel they like the attention they get while being at the top (this is my personal interpretation). Also I feel that Rollbit Boas huge lead maybe a reason why @Ayezee has slowed down, but it’s possible there might be other reasons too and for now I don’t see any other contender who can take on Rollbit Boss.
That is more like it. Plus when you are a whale and provide proof that you gamble a lot, and you could corner your nicknames google results for your information and contact, then they will most probably end up getting more offers. Other casinos will contact them and will tell them to sign up with them and that's how it will be better for them.

Better rewards, better returns, better cashbacks etc etc for gambling the way they gamble. Obviously, it is not always like that, sometimes they just gamble for the bragging rights and that is it and they do not plan on anything else, but the real reason for most of them is that they have a lot of money and they like to gamble and they want to get the most out of what they are doing, getting great offers from other casinos to go gamble there would mean their return would be a lot better and they will get more gifts.
3620  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: We are looking for Bitcoin Angel Investors on: January 24, 2022, 05:32:15 PM
I don’t see how you can guarantee that there wouldn’t be any loss in the trading, when even experts has made it clear that any cryptocurrency trading  has risk involved, and there is no guarantee that you can trade without loss. No matter how good you might seem to be in trading cryptocurrency, there are still times that you will experience loss, it is just part of it and we have to accept that.

So, you saying that you can guarantee a no loss, means that this is not true, If you had said that you can guarantee more profit than loss, then that would have been easier for anyone to believe, knowing that even if there is a loss, you would do your possible best to make sure that there is enough profit to cover up for the loss.
