3602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 04, 2020, 06:33:13 AM
Now they have to face Clippers, another good game to watch.
They will do better at home but Clippers now are playing the best basketball and in terms of size, I guess Clippers will kill them.

Who would stop Leonard and PG here? they both are taller and athletic, and anyone of them could explode anytime, so I'll go for the Clippers even they are on the road. Hopefully this will be a high scoring game as fans would love it, it's more fun when the game turns out a high scoring affair.
3603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 27, 2020, 05:56:01 AM
If zion has the career most people expect, than it will be one of those games they replay as one older great versus a new up and coming great.  Zion definately looks good to this point.  He is already dominating the court at times and he really hasn't even gotten his feet wet yet.  Would love to see them make the playoffs just for the fun of it.

I don't know if you all know this site but gotta share it here.

They have these predictions and if you will be looking at it, there is a 60% chance of Pelicans to go to the Playoffs but less than 1% of winning the NBA Finals. I don't know anything about this but do you agree? PS. I do not own or advertise this site, I just saw it while browsing Zion and Lebron's game.

https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/2020-nba-predictions/pelicans/

60% chance to make the playoffs...I think that is too high, and they should be less than 100-1 or 1%, I'm thinking 250-1 to win the chip.  They need about 2 years to really start competing.  They have a decent core now.  Now they have to build on that and add people like miami added ray allen, those type of role players that can put you over the top to win it.  Zion is good but way too young to lead them down a treacherous western part of the playoffs.

As long as there is a chance, I would not loss my faith on the Pelicans to reach in the playoffs this season.
Thy are young and they are hungry of course they can do this if they will just trust Zion even if he is only 19 years old.

We can see the real tight competition above.

I bet Pelicans would advance.
3604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 25, 2020, 09:20:56 AM
I am currently thinking of making an experiment on my own, I have friends who are willing to lend me money for whatever purpose I like.
For this purpose, I like to use the money that I will borrow as the bankroll in sports gambling.

Anyone here have tried this? What can you recommend?
3605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Started Gambling Because You Want To Be Part Of A Gambling Campaign on: February 25, 2020, 08:04:03 AM
Actually we can easily tell if people are just trying hard to post in gambling section due to campaign requirements, I am not one of them for sure, I know the technicalities of gambling and I have experience on different type of games. I think managers of the campaign should be careful in choosing applicants to ensure that they selected those who are really active in gambling section whether they have campaign or not.

We have to understand that once we are wearing the signature, we are representing the business and although what they just really want is exposure but they will prefer those participants that will not spam just to follow the requirement and get paid.
3606  Economy / Speculation / Re: Tone Vays Stands by $4K Bitcoin Price Pre-Halving Prediction on: February 20, 2020, 10:53:26 AM
He could be right, bitcoin could dump and it's possible.
In the past few days, bitcoin struggle to stay at $10,000, it stays for one day I guess but today it's dump again.
Therefore, I believe bitcoin is bearish in the past few days and as majority are expecting a pump, they might have not seen that it's a trap.

Again, these are just a possibilities, and everyone of us has our opinion, and this guy too, so we should just be ready of what would take place.
As for me, I will remain bullish but I will consider the bearish scenario.
3607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Don't be a hypocrite and admit that you are a gambler on: February 17, 2020, 09:24:35 AM
I don't have to deny it as I myself knows that ones you gamble, you are already a gambler.
Actually I am happy to call myself as a gambler as I believe gambling is not a negative thing and people who gamble are smart and knows how to take risk.

In gambling, I learn a lot, money management and discipline, so it's safe to say that gambling gives positive effect into my life.

I know the risk and I understand that I could lose more, of course because I've lose a lot of money in the past but that didn't stop me from gambling, what I did, I learn from my mistakes and I improve to become a discipline gambler.
3608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What would make you stop gambling? on: February 13, 2020, 06:59:45 AM
I had personal experiences of betting even when I am already running out of funds. When lost, someone has to run quickly and make a withdrawal at the nearest ATM. Where I come from, gamblers would even end up betting their watches or even cars when their wallets are already drained.
That's too much of an addiction, it would already run ones life, I was once lose control in gambling but I never ended up doing that,... well, I don't have a car nor wear watch but the action to sell your valuable things just to gamble and try to win back your loses is already beyond unacceptable.

That's a disease that would result to living a disastrous life, it would be more serious of a problem if you have a family as it could affect them financially, you might have a job but you cannot concentrate due to gambling addiction and soon, you might also loss that job.

3611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 12, 2020, 08:38:34 AM

Good comparison... This means the Raptors are better now compared to the past season but then it's just for regular season.

Clearly prior to the start of the regular season, the Raptors are so underestimated with only as sportsbook offers "+2500" if they'll win.
https://www.oddsshark.com/nba/nba-futures

It will be determine coming this second round, the playoff seasons are very different from the regular and knowing the impact playing without Kawhi will be test if Raptors will still survive. It's entertaining since everything is unpredictable from both East and West unlike when lebron still in the east and GSW still dominating the west.

Truth.
No way to predict who will be the champion. Better put your bets to whatever team you support as early as you could.
About comparisons though.
Let us also not forget Clippers fought the GSW last year which gave them a hard time to win that series.
I really saw a chance of winning back then. But GSW is just too strong for them. Well, they are the champions so it will be a difficult task to win specially at a crowded GSW homecourt.

The same thing would happen here with the Toronto crowd as they have a big crowd, and the fact that they are the defending champ and they are doing an incredible run so far, expect a huge crowd of fans once the playoff starts.
3612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Lomachenko vs. Teofimo Lopez Lightweight Unification fight on: February 10, 2020, 06:04:32 AM
But on this upcoming match between Loma and Lopez, there'll probably be no upsets.

How? there's be no upset if both teams have equal chances of winning according to the betting odds, those betting odds are our basis to gauge if there is a heavy favorite or not.

According to the article.

https://www.forbes.com/sites/joshkatzowitz/2019/12/16/vasiliy-lomachenko-vs-teofimo-lopez-odds-loma-is-already-a-healthy-betting-favorite/#5f5128362cf2

Loma is the heavy favorites with the odds.
Quote

According to Betfair, via boxing writer and betting pundit Tom Craze, Lomachenko has opened as a -400 favorite (bet $400 to win $100) while Lopez is +275 (win $275 on a $100 wager).
3613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TIPS FOR NEWBIE GAMBLERS ! on: February 06, 2020, 10:15:55 AM
Always play fur fun?? I don't think I would do that, playing for fun is just like playing not doing it seriously because it looks like for fun means you are just spending your money in gambling, not that you are investing your money.

Well, this is for newbies but not all newbies does only play for fun, some are also ambitious, they love to make some experiment.
3614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2019-2020 betting on: February 03, 2020, 11:28:09 AM
Let me share some pick.

Clippers vs Spurs, last game Clippers had a blow out win on the road (SA 109 - LAC 134).
They'll be playing this time at home with a complete squad so its expected they'll do well and win another +10 points.
However, with the Spurs winning in their last 2 games, I think this would give them a great momentum, so a +10 handicap looks good to bet on.
Thanks for the info! I am seeing to bet also on Los Angeles Clippers in which their last game was a very good game in which they really blown up the Spurs team with an almost 20 ahead of points, but right now maybe +10 points is quite huge it would be better if we will just bet on a handicapped with +5 only because I think Spurs will do a great game right now so it would be better if we will just watch out what would happen on the game.
Spurs needed a win in every game right now, they are already out in the playoff ranking, currently ranked number 10 right now, so it's always good to back them especially with this high point spread handicap given to them. Spurs to win the game is now @5.40 - TAKE THAT!
3615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs Manny Pacquiao on: February 03, 2020, 10:06:49 AM
Suddenly the hype of the Mayweather vs Pacquiao rematch has been replace by this exhibition fight that could possibly give both fighters big money, but fore sure this isn't gonna be the fight that all the boxing fans would love.

they are mixing two sports, and although Conor like a title fight but it should not happen because there's other boxers that is more deserving to fight Manny for a title fight.

Why everyone is falling for this shit? isn't it gonna ruin the boxing industry in the long run if all the stars would follow the same?
3616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: February 03, 2020, 09:27:22 AM
For me, I would choose Wiggins over DLO due to the fact that Wiggins plays good defense and he is also a legit scorer if given an opportunity.
He will be a good fit with the Warriors as he can attack in the paint and that will lead an open shots opportunity for the gunners like Curry and Thompson.
IMO, he was effective with the wolves but he needs to take his talent to a team that is a championship contender, so let's see if this could possibly be realize.
3617  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risk management , how ? on: February 02, 2020, 08:51:41 PM
The only risk management in trading that I know much about is that of Patience. Many traders start the loses because of them lacking the basis of trading, which is the mindset to be patients while they trade. Basically, this is one of my secret to trade and have never disappointed me either from the beginning. Shirt and long-term trade are very much possible if traders imbibe the habit of be Patience towards their trades. No other risk management than this, that works for me through last year 2019 till date 2020.
I also want to add setting up your limitations. Trading is not like gambling so you need to prepare even for its worst. Invest only what you can afford to lose and learn to make stop loss when you think you are losing already. Trading will be more risky if you only trade without even knowing your target goal in the first place.
3618  Economy / Economics / Re: Dow Jones Price Drop & The Corona Virus? on: February 02, 2020, 03:26:45 PM
first, a deadly virus that spreads in various countries will make its citizens die, then economic assets there (countries affected by the virus) will be in vain. meaning many assets but no users. maybe that's what causes the economy to weaken. and if it continues and there is no prevention and treatment, then the victims will continue to grow and the economy will weaken even more.
Corona virus which started in China had greatly affected their own economy and since this virus has already threathend worldwide, then it's very possible that those affected countries will also be facing an economic crash. Corona virus may not affect the crypto market indirectly but those people who suffer from corona virus may greatly affect the whole market.
3619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Justin Sun and Corona Virus on: February 02, 2020, 02:31:36 PM

https://twitter.com/justinsuntron/status/1222307981041135616

Anyone seen Justin's tweet, Lol, I mean no offense to him, but this is very clearly just a marketing ploy on is end. We all know how Justin Sun is a 'shilling god' for f**k's sake, but this is too much. How can he take advantage of the situation and posted this kind of tweet?

whatever it is either you  call it shilling or marketing or anything at least he has the guts to contribute intp a great cause. at least they are showing the positive side of crypto community while government thinks all of the crypto traders or investors are criminals
Right. In cases like this, humanity still reigns. Even if Justin does this maybe taking advantage of the current situation, but the fact that he had offered help to those who are needy is such a grateful act. People has still this humanitarian instinct despite of the calamity we have right now.
3620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The World’s Most Crypto-friendly Countries on: February 02, 2020, 01:55:22 PM
Yes Philippines is a crypto friendly country since many blickchsin events were conducted here and there is no law against it. We also have blockchain wallets so cashing out bitcoin to php is never a problem here.
No doubt the Philippines tried through their stance towards crypto endorsements but the world most crypto friendly countries are the EU countries, Canada, the US and Aussie which has the most bitcoin ATM in the world and also planning to make crypto a seamlessly payment.
Japan i think is the most friendly about crypto because there are a lot of big companies there who are accepting crypto as a payment. With regards to Philippines, even if the government does not show full support on crypto but the people themselves are very open about crypto and are very willing to adopt it once the government decided to adopt it legally.
