3601  Other / Meta / Re: Can users be banned for using known English proverbs and sayings? on: February 05, 2019, 05:09:25 PM
Well, it seems complicated to me. So far I don't see any user used a famous /known proverbs/sayings and get banned, most people used these words for reminders/sarcasm/encouragement and etc. Like Not your keys, not your bitcoins and prevention is better than cure.

But there are some quotes/sayings from other company/organization though not that famous as Einstein but gives an impact on this industry (ICO/project whitepaper, devs, CEO, etc.) then used by some company/users here as their own words without giving proper credit, then it should be addressed as plagiarism.

But if you're talking from words/sayings of some influencers/famous people in the industry like Antonopoulos, vitalik, satoshi, or anywhere else, maybe mods should not be considered it as plagiarized content, just my opinion.
3602  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: "We found 2 results related to your search" blockchain.info is crazy. on: February 05, 2019, 01:35:38 PM
How amusing that 5 BTC and 5 BCH is equals to $10  Cheesy

They could easily put a dropdown menu instead of "go" where you would be able to change the coin that you wanna search. Or maybe something else before clicking on the "go". And on the main page, Bitcoin BTC is select, people could select Bitcoin Cash if they want to search for BCH. The same for ethereum.
Much better if when some user hit the search button with the address as the default explorer, btc transaction/info will be shown and there's only a button for BCH info with the details.
3603  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitTorrent on: February 04, 2019, 06:23:15 PM
BTT price keeps rising for the second day in a row.

$0,000818 USD (41,89%)
0,00000024 BTC (42,27%)
0,03032167 TRX (35,32%)

So, if circulating supply = 89,100,000,000 BTT, it places the token at top 55-56 at this moment.
Good update I just saw this and I just remember that I have them and bought in the dip, now still watching and observing where these coin will tank.

Well, for sure trx and bnb has the capacity to grow higher and higher anytime soon due to the fact this 2 has focus now in building partnerships mostly binance->bnb and it affect its coin's price while btt is now on trend just don't know if where it will stay.

Most users knows that, if what escrow service he will use. The most recommended to use a service is an escrow who did active lately not just does have a numbers of trust.
And as what as I see, most in the list are active and can be trusted but there are few I don't consider.

3606  Other / Meta / Re: How does this forum differ from a dictatorial regime on: February 03, 2019, 01:41:05 PM
That is why bitcoin isn't working and won't unless these abusers will have nothing to do with it.
Bitcoin has nothing to do with these people you're pertaining of.

a few users decide the life of any account they don't like
With this thread topic, I guess it's not related to meta, and reputation will do.
3607  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mac users be careful on: February 03, 2019, 05:52:56 AM
because malware programs will always be here and anti-viruses are not going to help.
Yep, that's true but this software (anti-viruses) will help you for even just for a bit from warnings when you click or downloaded something on the internet.

It's pretty simple to avoid all these viruses, to be honest. Just watch what you're browsing, the links you're clicking and the programs you're downloading. These malware programs don't target you specifically, so... It doesn't magically come to your computer. If you are careful, you should be fine.
Plus from someone who accessed your computer with their devices.

I'll suggest using an ad blocker (uBlock Origin - I'm currently using and it helps) and metamask on your chrome/firefox it helps as well from accessing websites that have malware.
3608  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinpulse shutting down as well on: February 02, 2019, 07:47:01 PM
I'm likely not familiar with this exchange, I tried to search them on cmc, nothing info found there. I wonder how many user base do they have if people use this exchange. How many small competitor in exchange industry will give up with this bear.
3609  Local / Pamilihan / Re: $3000 Cant Withdraw to a Crypto Company/MultiSig Wallet on: February 02, 2019, 12:43:55 PM
So far wala akong nakikitang enough feedback (positive or negative) related sa site/service in google siguro since parang bago palang ang site na to. So parang it's too stupid para mag suggest na mag send ka ng worth 80-100$ ulit para lang ma cash out mo yung balance mo sa wallet na yan which sounds like some scam exchange/gambling sites na nag kakalat ngayon.

If ako sayo tanungin mo muna like yung post ko sa taas if anu ngaba reason nun kase parang suspicious kase.
Tanungin mo support nila why needed pa ng 80-100$? since may +400$ ka sa wallet mo.

3610  Local / Pamilihan / Re: $3000 Cant Withdraw to a Crypto Company/MultiSig Wallet on: February 02, 2019, 10:01:26 AM
Yung pinagpasahan ko po ng $400 ay may minimum charge na 0.05btc , ang laman ng account ko ay 0.12249000 or $400+
The question is bakit yang wallet (bitstring if I'm correct) ang ginamit mo pag send from that ICO/company based in thailand? Diba pwede direct to your personal wallet? or other exchange? Coins.ph?

I see need gamitin ang wallet na yan for at least 0.05 btc which is very suspicious why needed ng minimum cash in? no, deposit ang term nila base sa FAQs nila.

Tanungin mo support nila why needed pa ng 80-100$? since may +400$ ka sa wallet mo.

Don't try to cash out na 6 or 20$ lang, send your funds there if magkataong gumana in just one send lang (all $400+). I'm not familiar with that wallet, kaya I doubt.

yung method of withdraw kasi nila puro th to th lang po,
AFAIK may coins sa thailand bat di yun yung ginamit mo? Ito link ng site https://coins.co.th which is legit na wallet yan.

3611  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Unofficial Quadriga Cx Thread on: February 02, 2019, 07:57:24 AM
Since they lost almost $200 Million, I am assuming this is the 2nd largest bitcoin exchange hack/theft/loss ?
If the ranking row is based on numbers of $$ I guess coincheck hacked has the second largest lost for 500m$ lost and this hack is the 3rd.

Now I can't smell that this issue had cause more trouble on the current price of BTC, yet I think this will cause to spike since that lost BTC will remain lost forever and has an impact to the circulating supply.
3612  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto affiliate programs -updated version? on: February 02, 2019, 03:03:43 AM
Mainly cloud mining
I will strongly avoid this one.

To op I wonder if you take a look at here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2095078.0 its been bumped in the service discussion board.

[EDIT] this is the one I want to link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3110691.0 from exchanges board.
3613  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Coins.ph Official Thread on: February 01, 2019, 04:27:02 PM
bakit ang cashout ko sa union bank ay refunded?

(cashout from btc wallet and refunded in peso)

any info here?

tingnan natin kung irefund din yung bpi cash out..(processing pa)

[...]

You can try Abra as I heard daming positive feedback users nila and mas cheaper pa yung fee and medjo mataas rate sell rate nila kesa sa coins, never tried them though.
3614  Economy / Services / Re: Paying 3 BTC for help on: February 01, 2019, 10:54:32 AM
Hehe does they need an inch tap to do it for him?
By the way, I was not expecting that OP was really going to pay.
Even the other two. Coz googling will allow you to get that contact info related to the person. I will suggest contacting her with her official twitter account will be the best way for sure.

Btw you can see my address in my profile link if it helps Grin

Encrypting your wallet or your smartphone allows you to set a password for anyone trying to withdraw any funds. This helps protect against thieves, though it cannot protect against keylogging hardware or software.

Never forget your password
You should make sure you never forget the password or your funds will be permanently lost. Unlike your bank, there are very limited password recovery options with Bitcoin. In fact, you should be able to remember your password even after many years without using it. In doubt, you might want to keep a paper copy of your password in a safe place like a vault.

Use a strong password
Any password that contains only letters or recognizable words can be considered very weak and easy to break. A strong password must contain letters, numbers, punctuation marks and must be at least 16 characters long. The most secure passwords are those generated by programs designed specifically for that purpose. Strong passwords are usually harder to remember, so you should take care in memorizing it.

Reputation might be a better place for this (Someone posted it already while I'm typing). And all of the users who are proved as alts and spamming the forum for bounty purposes or cheating campaigns will be tagged for sure.
3617  Other / Meta / Re: Why am I seeing this on my merit history page? on: January 31, 2019, 11:33:30 AM
What happens when you click on that link? Does it open the topic like usual?
If the thread shows when clicking the (Deleted/Off-limits/Ignored) like usual like this quote's pertaining, the board is on your ignore list, but if not it's either deleted or off limit as per shown on a deleted thread. I just tried it.

Did you mean? (Deleted/Off-limits/Ignored) mostly it's a deleted thread base on my side, never encountered for ignored since I don't usually do that.
3619  Other / Meta / Re: TrustTalk: Show untrusted feedback by default? on: January 30, 2019, 10:06:02 AM
If untrusted feedbacks are shown it will freeze your browser when you open the trust page like of lauda, vod, TP, etc. Cheesy and its too hard to scroll down.
Since it can be seen anytime by clicking the untrusted link, so just leave it as is like what other's saying.
