3601  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What Crypto is? on: February 28, 2022, 05:29:03 AM
Everyone who are used to cryptocurrency might've come across several conversations.
When someone asks you what crypto is, what will be your response?

Make the response to be short, it can be in a single line. There will be difference of view. My view on it

"Financial Freedom that lets me retire earlier"
There can be a lot of definitions that one can tell if somebody asks them what cryptocurrency is. In particular, it's actually a digital currency that has a lot of properties or functions.
But I think the most popular definition that will be easiest to understand by someone who wants to learn about it is it's an asset, a digital asset. While for being specific for bitcoin, it's going to be the modern and digital gold.
3602  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: NEVER BE IN A HURRY on: February 28, 2022, 01:13:17 AM
Good riddance. Use some spaces though so that anyone who's going to read your story won't feel a bit odd. That's the normal story that we get from people who are new in this space. Someone's going to offer them anything and will link you to their own territory which is their own telegram group. The group is full of fake members of their own that will give fake vouching. @OP, there are also other scams that you might experience.
This is just one of them but still, it's good to see that you escaped from them.
3603  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: February 27, 2022, 09:43:05 PM
The way everyone is sanctioning things in Russia, it seems there are no one living in Russia that the 144.1 million people are not human LOL

Imagine from the point of a Russian Civilian who is not supporting the war in Ukraine, who wants peace dialog and want to see the brotherhood between these two county. But just because he is a Russian now he can not visit an EU county or in a state of America , he can not have assets in these regions, he can not conduct any business at all, his assets are being seized . He has no right in those countries. Or may be he is in any of these countries living for long time. From now on his life will be a harder. The Russian military is killing innocent civilians but the rest of the word is making Russian civilians life a misery.

What are we achieving from this WAR?

PS: This is not an statement in favor of 1xBET and 1xBit . These scammers should not be existed in the first place.
Well said.
I would boycott those scam casinos instead. I don't know any other Russian-based casinos but it's not all about boycotting that's everything with them.
What if those legitimate and good casinos that are based from there are just the typical businesses that would surely be hit and affected if such a plan had been executed. Well, I'm not a technical expert on this but there really are a lot of consequences that will happen.
3604  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A thing worst than "don't trade with your emotion" a trader should avoid on: February 27, 2022, 08:43:43 PM
Being mature is doing the right kind of trade. Don't trade and after you lost then you regret, that means you did the trade with emotion. Trade and after you lost then you are proud to take the decision. Trading with emotion cost regret and most losses is because it was done with emotion. A right type of trade is taking your time to analyse the charts and see the direction of price and enter at the right time, possibly you make profit with that.
Trading with analysis has always been the foundation of those actual traders, day traders or not. That's the step that must be followed because trading without any plan or you don't analyze, you're good at throwing your money with your trades. People think that it's easy to trade if they've seen others making rounds and all the time positive with his trades. But it's not like that, you'll never know what they'd went through and the hardship of accepting defeat during their early days of trading which is mostly all about losing and learning.
3605  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | VIP | on: February 27, 2022, 10:32:19 AM
For those we wouldn't have noticed yet; Duelbits just launched another sports promotion on NFL (Nashville Predators vs Tampa Bay). You need to place a bet on 1x2 market (choose the winner of the match) and in case of a draw they will refund your money up to 200$. Seems like another nice promotion to me so just placed a bet on the Predators.
https://duelbits.com/promotions/tampa-bay-lightning-nashville-predators-draw-insurance
This a good information and another improvement in the Duelbit family diving into the NFT world will give the casino a whole new experience which both the team and their players will enjoy updated features that comes with the web 3 Igaming experience.
It's not NFT nor NFL but NHL.
Well, the promo is already done and the match as well and the winner for that match is Tampa Bay Lightning. There's also a commotion within the last few seconds of the game. Is this normal in Ice Hockey? I'm not really into it but I think that I'll be starting to get to know more about this league and sport.
3606  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: LOVELY FAMILY on: February 27, 2022, 08:26:10 AM
I wish to have the same testimony too.
You'll have it soon. You're already in the forum and you just have to start giving time for the topics that you want to read and learn from there. It's about the knowledge that you can acquire from those informative posts that you don't know. Or even to the topics that you already know.
If you're more knowledgeable than the others, you can contribute on your own because it's always that the newbies really are the newbies. Everyone has their own knowledge gained elsewhere that can be helpful to the others as well despite being experienced and knowledgeable too.
3607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You Must be Over 18 years on: February 26, 2022, 11:00:22 PM
I believe that the gambling site need not to verify whether you are up to the age of 18 or not but they expected you not to lie about your age and do the right thing by clicking yes are 18 and above or no you are under age. Once you click yes that you are 18 and above while you are actually under age then whatever happen to you in the process they are not responsible but yourself.
Yes, because gambling is an adult thing to do. That's what the majority of them expect but there are also those circumstances that a teenager would sign up to a casino since it's on the internet and all of the casinos are accessible as long as you're not from the country that they've blocked their domain. It's really hard to figure out if a minor has already signed up.
IIRC, there's the case of this teen that has used his parent's information to be kept in that casino since there's no need for any face-to-face KYC interview. It's just all about sending an ID and filling up the form.
3608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the safest coin to stake? on: February 26, 2022, 09:50:46 PM
Honestly no one knows what coin will be survive in the next 10 years for sure If we look at the history from 2013 - 2021 ETH, XRP, ADA, BNB and LTC that's all, thats the coin will be survive and profitable than other coin, if you want to find safe staking Binance Exchange and Biswap Staking are my favorites or you can look for other options according to your wishes and always DYOR in every choice you take, your money is your responsibility
You're still at risk if you stake upon Binance exchange. You don't hold the keys and that's why even if you think that you're safe with Binance, you're not really because you don't your cryptos.
I'm a user of that exchange and I know that it's one of the most trusted and known exchanges at all.
DYOR is a must so you'll figure out which coins are likely to survive for the long term. You don't waste your time and money searching for projects that might be outdated within the next few years.
3609  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Journey of a successful trader on: February 26, 2022, 07:42:21 PM
The very beginning is definitely training. When I started working with a broker from Amarkets, I used a demo account for training.
Training, I should say yes. Demo accounts can really be placed at any number when a trader starts to know everything about it.
You can learn the basics as you train with demo accounts or you can use these demo accounts when you're already trading as well. Wherever you place it, first, middle or last, the most important part of it is all about learning and as a trader, you need to adopt all every positive material and tips that you see.
3610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 26, 2022, 06:37:51 PM
The question is, what is that new technology that they should apply? The most common answer will be VR technology. It's a good and adaptable technology and it can be adopted by most casinos.
But it's true that there will be that won't be ready to adopt it and doesn't see the special thing within it.
And maybe, eventually, there will be more of these casinos that will just ignore it if there's no real demand on it.
VR technology is the closest to the situation in the gambling industry. However, for the equipment, it's probably still very expensive and only people who have a lot of money will be able to afford it. Gamblers who don't want to see technological developments will not be ready to see the latest technology released by casinos but they inevitably have to follow suit. But they also have another option: they can move to a casino that has not implemented VR technology. But don't worry, because VR technology is still not widely developed, we can still play gambling as we are used to.
Not really that a lot of money. It's going to be affordable for most of the demand hits it. When there's really the demand for that headgear for the VR application, it will drop in prices and everyone will be able to avail it just like the smartphones that we have. Due to the demand of it, now, everyone is able to avail it. Regardless of the country that you're living in, you can save for it and buy it if you really want to have it. And being a gambler, doesn't have money to pay for that experience? You have money to gamble but you can't afford that, well, it's subjective and if you're not into it even if you have money, you won't purchase.
3611  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Beware of Emotional Scam on: February 26, 2022, 05:19:55 PM
I was having a relationship with a lady who claim to be a Bitcoin broker analyst for a year, she told me much about crypto currency exchange and I got enlightened along the line she told me about a challenge in the crypto company and she wants to take the lead and she needed an investment of about $50,000.
well believing all she has said I did my best to invest and see her take the lead and I was to get 50% of my investment but at the end of my investment it was clear to me I was scammed and she kept requesting for more money.

 Lessons

Always learn to exclude business from relationship.

always do background check before getting to invest on any business.

try to get a knowledge at list 70% and risk management of any business.

nerve get emotionally attached when it comes to business.
Romance/love scam. A very popular scam on the internet these days, I guess that "lady" have messaged you randomly and you got attracted because of that gesture made by the scammer. It's not only limited to the crypto market but it has mostly started on fiat scam. They'll just keep asking for money to you to be sent to them because they needed this and that. And you, falling in love, you're like a blind follower and hypnotized person that will just follow their instructions. @OP, does it mean that you've sent the scammer $50k for real? Honestly about your suggestion about business and relationship, many are okay with that setup and it's not a problem at all. It's just that you've been a victim of this love scam.
3612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 25, 2022, 08:41:41 PM
Yeah, it's true about a major upgrade. But the players don't have any choice if that certain casino has to do it as it is what they're seeing needed to happen.
Trying something new, with some twists that everyone might be happy about it will certainly going to happen for some casinos. Anyway, it might not happen for most of it.
Those who use the casino as their favourite casino will follow the major update while searching for the other casino that still uses the old way or does not implement the newest technology. But the major update can make them curious to see what is different from the previous so they can stay for a while and see if they like or not. If they do not like it, they will move to the other casinos where they are comfortable playing gambling.
3613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto stuck in sports betting site, now they want KYC on: February 25, 2022, 07:40:29 PM
Some sports betting site now need to KYC but you still have thousand trusted site without KYC, I join on several site from Stake until several casino game without have to KYC but some time upload document needed when get problem with access to my account only, for playing game and put betting is not always have site need to upload KYC you can find oldest sport betting site without have to include your document, maybe not all want to use his document for gambling site.
But that's different to the experience of OP and the others when you get into question and you've likely violated their terms of usage.
Comparing it now to other bookies that don't ask for KYC I think is out of scope if OP is already on that part that he's being asked and he's trying to make some ways of getting out of the situation he's got in.
3614  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lessons learn so far on: February 25, 2022, 03:31:15 PM
It's also the NFTs that have a lot of scam projects that were built. Investors are still seeking those projects that can make them a lot of money. And because of that goal, they're the easiest to become targeted by the scammers. As they invest to seemingly look legitimate projects, they're jumping to the conclusion quickly that these projects will make them money just as they want. But they don't know that it's just a tactic that these scammers have been kept doing. If these investors don't play vigilant with the said new projects that anyone will invest, they'll just go through a cycle that they'll become a victim again.

What lessons have you learnt from scam projects so far? Anybody can fall for scam projects not only newbies.
It is not to trust quickly. Even if the project is truly promising and legitimate, never be lazy to make your own research and verification.
3615  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bustabit.com unfairness on: February 24, 2022, 11:31:14 PM
Post the proof so that everyone won't just speculate with your story. They're known and mostly everyone is going to be on their side no matter what any accusations have been told without proof to prove. That's why you already knew that there's a need to post the proof and you have to do it.
And there's a possibility that daniel will reply on this to explain their side or there's really no need to explain as you likely violated their rule.
3616  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buy low, Sell high? on: February 24, 2022, 04:50:25 PM
When the value of a coin is low, it is critical to select some coins to purchase that will yield a profit, but try to purchase the coin when the value is low. Purchasing a coin at a cheap price and then selling it when the price rises and replacing it with other coins that benefit your earnings is also desirable and beneficial.
Yeah, that's how it goes and as what the title says. Basically, the lowest price can't be determined easily by those that don't use analysis. They just look at the chart and if it's seen to be lower this time, they're good to go. No more dramas, just pure buy at low and then that's done.

A considerable loss might be incurred by selling at a lower market value.
It's an actual loss. That's the logic and easy to understand behind it.
3617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will be the next big industry move? on: February 24, 2022, 02:16:38 PM
Those records, they will have it for sure. It's not going to be an easy thing for them to just leave the old method and migrate to the newer one. As much as they'll upgrade, what they'll do is a gradual process to make every user of theirs become familiar if ever they will really have to adopt a new system, a new trend that's in the market. Many users like me prefer always what I've been accustomed to rather than to adopt a new one.
The gradual process will help them decide which ones they need to upgrade and which ones they don't need yet while they continue monitoring their players' activities on their site. The old methods will continue to be used because not all players like the new methods, which will be very different from the ones they have used so far. In addition, the possibility of making a major upgrade is not as easy as turning the palm because the casino has to make sure that everything is according to their schedule. Yes, I also prefer what I have done so far in gambling. But I can accept and try something new, especially if it doesn't require too many supporting tools to try the new one.
3618  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Bitcoin, You'll Thank Me Later - Mexican Billionaire Says on: February 24, 2022, 11:48:45 AM
People will really be encouraged to buy when some billionaires tell you their opinions on what you must do and where to invest. It's still going to tick you the idea that they've become successful and you should follow them because every word they tell is wisdom. But that's not it.
We know that many of us from here are bullish on bitcoin and are likely to hold for several years. But if it's about decision making, don't rely on the opinion of others and as what we're always telling, DYOR.
By taking time to research, it's helpful to know your own stand upon knowing things that you're about to invest like bitcoin. You'll have the idea of its nature and what you must do based on the gathered information you've got as per your research and analysis.
3619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About USDT on: February 24, 2022, 06:27:52 AM
It's because USDT is one of the first. And just like bitcoin, in terms of its share in the market then it's bigger than any other. DAI is a good decentralized stable coin. But just like with decentralized exchanges versus centralized exchanges, there's more demand for centralized ones.
The reason is likely that we're too fond and used to it and that's why in terms of stable coins, USDT is the most known and it's supported in many protocols which makes it easier to use despite the issue and being centralized.
3620  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: WHY HOLDING IS NECESSARY IN CRYPTO on: February 23, 2022, 10:22:28 PM
Its better to do what works for you, I as a person prefer taking profits when I see one than holding for long term, so far it never works well for me but taking profits seem to be the best decisions I've ever made, holding isn't a must and it doesn't work for many.
This is right. If holding works for you, do hold. But if you prefer to earn and take profits in the short term then also do that and be a trader at anytime that you want.

Holding is not necessary in 'crypto', Hodling is necessary with Bitcoin
I agree on this. It's truly necessary for bitcoin while for generalization of holding crypto, you should determine on which of the altcoins are you going to hold for so long. Not all of them are going to be as good as what you're thinking and that's why you choose only the best altcoins that you know that will give you idea of its true potential.
