Hey Kryptowerk,
the new logo looks awesome, i hope they will use it soon Cool

medium:

small:

This one is slightly modified (smaller border to outer ring) and has transaprency for easier website/blog/etc. integration.

Fine-tuning can still be done, just let me know if you have any suggetions.

I've created a video showing the process for claiming Bitcore via the airdrop using your Bitcoin QT wallet or Blockchain.info wallet.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L8Z2bO-v8_o
Great one!
Will share this when I make my steemit post about bitcore.

Can you make a second pic with a white "BTC" in the inside?

Kind Regards Christian

Thank you @dArkjON & @jonald_fyookball!

Definitly! Here you go.
Let me know if you need any specific sizes and/or customizations.

In this one the "BTC" is actually white instead of transparent, just like the "CORE".

Imo the pink colour has to stay, it definitly stands out from all the other cryptos.

Suggestions welcome.

Original is in 4096x4096, any required size can be done.

Hi Nano-Fan,

I know this is an old thread, but figuered I just use this one intead of creating a new one.
Mining ETH I get ~26 MH/s with the latest drivers from AMD.
I was wondering if higher hashrates are possible and if you (or anyone else with a R9 Nano) can recommend any drivers + tweaks for the Nanos?

Thanks,
KW

EDIT: I did some undervolting and slightly overclocking and managed to get 29 MH/s from the R9 Nanos! Anything else that can be tweaked?

I am trying to run ETH+DCR mining.
ETH works fine but I always (I tried 3 different pools now) get the error:
dcr: share rejected

Any idea what could help here?

Sounds like you are using an older version. DCR had some changes. You need to be on version 9.2 or 9.3.  Any older versions won't be able to mine Dcred any more.

All Dcred miners had to update.

Thanks, I somehow downloaded an old version (v.Cool and didn't even notice. My bad. Thanks again.

I took a look at your published pdfs. Very interesting project, hope to see some updates in this forum soon.
If you plan a bounty campaign I'd be more than willing to provide some high quality translations to German.

Claiming BTX via signed message works like a charm. Congratz. I used Electrum here.

A little improvement suggestion for the devs: Add a description for the empty input-boxes @ https://www.bitcore.cc/

I do, however, have a problem signing my BTC address with Ledger. Whenever I try to do so, I get the message
Code:
Your device can only use a derivation path starting by 0'/0xb11e
I don't see any option to change this derivation path. Any suggestions anyone??

3611  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: SOLVED: restore of 12 word seed in Electrum 2.8.2 NOT POSSIBLE on: May 06, 2017, 12:13:22 PM
I am sorry, it was entirely my mistake, I just missed one word of the 13 words. Works fine now.
Usually I have a high standard of triple-checking these things, but in this case it was just a temporary extra copy of my seed and I didn't pay enough attention.
Thanks for everyone trying to help.

There was a question about the Exscudo Bounty Campaign in the German thread regarding this point:

  • At least 1 post a week must be constructive and in the Exscudo ANN thread

Do posts in the German ANN thread count, too?

ok i did not expect that , devs moving fast project  looks very solid   Shocked i have to say WELL DONE

damn i sold all at 16  Cry
Why would you do that?
Anyway I am pretty happy with the speed of developmentand finally KMD gets some broader recognition. Waiting for $0.5 per KMD... incoming very soon imo.

forget the price,  if the project is solid and has only good news from now on...the only way it's up ..and i was the first to be very skeptic for kmd....
Is kmd available on polo?Sorry for being lazy not to check it myself but polo is failed to load on my pc for soem strange reasons
Nope. No Polo-trading so far. Bittrex has some good volume for now, if that helps.

3616  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: restore of 12 word seed in Electrum 2.8.2 NOT POSSIBLE on: May 04, 2017, 05:23:48 PM
Hey guys,

I am currently experiencing a strange error: I tried to restore a seed I created with electrum about 8, max. 10 months ago.
It consists of 12 (I counted it 7 times now, lol!) ...
But I CANNOT click the "next" button to restore the seeds (it stays greyed out).

The next button stays greyed out because the seed isn't valid. It doesn't pass the checksum. I think you are missing one word in your seed. You see for versions 2.0 - 2.6.4 created 13 word seeds.

2.7.0 was released in Oct 2016 and it standardized seeds to 12 words.

So what version did you use to create this wallet of yours? This is the most important question.

The good news is that since you have all but one word in your seed you should be able to run a bruteforce program to get the remaining word.
Thank you!
What I have is a hand-written copy of my hand written seed backup. In one to two days I will be able to check my original seed backup, maybe I just missed a word. If it turns out that it is also only 12 words long, I'll get back to you about brute forcing.
I am pretty sure I created this wallet before OCT 2016, probably in June or July when I first started out with bitcoin. So your assumption that one word is missing is probably correct.
3617  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: restore of 12 word seed in Electrum 2.8.2 NOT POSSIBLE on: May 02, 2017, 11:24:49 PM
When I do that, my Balance is empty with no tracked txs.
I checked every word on the list for similar ones. There was only one that could actually be an other one, I replaced it, still didn't work. Very strange.
3618  Bitcoin / Electrum / SOLVED: restore of 12 word seed in Electrum 2.8.2 NOT POSSIBLE on: May 02, 2017, 10:50:24 PM
Hey guys,

I am currently experiencing a strange error: I tried to restore a seed I created with electrum about 8, max. 10 months ago.
It consists of 12 (I counted it 7 times now, lol!) words, all exisitent in this list: https://github.com/spesmilo/electrum/blob/master/lib/wordlist/english.txt
But I CANNOT click the "next" button to restore the seeds (it stays greyed out).
Trust me, I checked spelling 10 times now, also as I said I checked every word on the list from github.

Any idea what is wrong or what to do??!

Thanks,
KW

PS: I am running Electrum 2.8.2, I tried the standalone version and the installer version on Windows 10.
Just to be sure I created a new wallet, wrote down the seed words and tried the restore option: It worked for that seed. :s
3619  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitcore - BTX - NETWORK & BLOOM & WITNESS online - 20MB Core 14.0 on: May 02, 2017, 01:55:36 PM
so the 1BTC=1BTX idea is for real or just for Snapshot

It's real. Because we snapshotted the whole btc network, and the total amount is 21 million coins like btc. we have 10 minutes blocktime. We made changes in the code; now timetravel10 algo; and filled in a new retarget system.
Instead of discussing months for months about segwit activation, we made it.

Greetz
Steve

Good to know.. So after some time we all are going to be rich  Grin

Go and buy low and sell high on the exchange! Do it before difficulty goes astronomically high that you'll take weeks to get 0.1 BTX and before the price does go up due to demand. I'm looking to store mine. Currently have 92 BTX and looking to get more

Psshhh... don't scare away the cheap dumpers @ ~0.0012 BTC  Wink
If BTX is successful in the mid to long run, and I think there is a good chance it will be, people will look back at this early stage and wonder why they didn't wait a little longer for a 10000% gain.
Well, only time will tell. - It is probably not a coincidence that this coin is mined by the timetravel algorithm. : D

That is true. We need them to dump so the ones who believe it will gain a massive percentage can buy, thus be at a higher profit with less work needed.
Is the 10000% your speculation or an over exaduration and just figure of speech? I would really like to know what people think it could potentially achieve over the next few months. Currently it's hovering around $1.5 so day trading could be profitable.
Essentially the coin is very similar to bitcoin to the block time and the amount of coins. However it is a different algorithm and no ASICs for it. Best we can do is GPU mine which currently with the sporadic growth of net hashrate within 3 days is starting to prove that small hash rates (1kh/s to approx 4 mh/s) might not be worth it anymore. That's what I feel like

Price speculation is interesting, but in this early stage it can't be much more: speculation. That beeing said I am very optimistic about crypto assets/currencies in general, speaking long term. In the short term I woudn't be suprised to see some "correction" soon.
Now about Bitcore: If it gets wide recognition + its advanced tech specs (SeqWit, 20MB blocks, ASIC-resistant algo etc.) show to be working better than BTC over a longer time period and the early dumps from massive BTC holders are over and the dev team keeps up working hard on the project and some external infrastructure is deployed I don't think a 10k% is in any way utopian. You may have noticed, this is a long list of "if"s, so there are many possibilities for BTX to drop to 10 sats or something like that. Nonetheless I believe these hurdles can and hopefully will be taken.  Smiley
Not investment advice, just crypto enthusiasm for BTX put to words.
3620  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [TOR] Torcoin - X11 PoW - Tor Integrated Crypto - Torcoin.org on: May 02, 2017, 12:22:44 PM
Anyone dump $6k worth of this coin today? Volume went up by 6k, price dropped. More to the point did anyone buy $6k worth of coins?
(Thats 30% increase in daily trade volume on a coin that is dropping in price by the hour, looks and smells more like sellers than buyers to me)

could be Carsen liquidating some of his remaining 30k coins?

Check: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tor/#!wallets

Wallet 1-6 is me.  I don't see Carsen's wallets anywhere in the top 10 anymore, so maybe he has sold the remaining 30k off.

Wallet 7 is interesting - must be a big investor buying and holding.

Wallets 7 and 8 are probably exchanges, not an investor. Number 7 has 95 addresses and 8 has 43. I'm sure if you compare the transactions in those wallets with the transactions on the exchanges they will likely match up.

I think a more important question, again, is your wallet 5. On the 23rd you had a 100,000 TOR deposit, supposedly from Carsen, and on the 28th that 100,000 left your wallet. Where did it go? It left wallet 5 at 01:12 and there was a deposit into wallet 6 for 99,500 at 13:58. That's the best scenario I could come up with to explain it, but where was it for 12 hours and why is the deposit into wallet 6 for 500 less than what was transferred from wallet 5? Your promised transparency and that you would openly state anytime you move coins. Did the 500 go into faucets? Bounties? Before you only had 5 wallets, why do you need 6 now? Transparency always overrides FUD and boosts investor's confidence.

I am not in support of this cion, but I do know the dev or however you may call him paid someone 500 TOR for the creation of a faucet.
