3621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 10, 2021, 10:14:13 AM
I was really amused about the Memphis - Lakers game last night. Lebron, Westbrook and Davis all were playing in this game but they still lost to Memphis by 108-95. The reason why especially was that Westbrook performed really bad. He was able to score only 9 points in 33 minutes. He got a 3/9 FG made. He missed many shots as he was not in fine feather.

They were just struggling and letting Memphis get some easy basket by not working in defence like they were before versus the Boston. They were seriously pissed off and discourage about the game last night because just before the game ended, Lebron quickly walk to the locker room without even shaking some hands from any of the players in Memphis. I think this is their 3rd straight loss to Memphis and every time they've lost, the fans make fun of them on social media. They need to do better on their next game though because people opinions bothered them the most if they slack again and let some team like Memphis beat them easily.
3622  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Isn’t KYC anti-ethical to Bitcoin? on: December 10, 2021, 09:48:38 AM
You can still trade BTC with anonymity, it all depends on what you prefer. There are so many exchanges around and most of them are centralized that require KYC. If you are ready to compromise on your privacy then you can join these centralized exchanges. But yes I do agree that most common source of BTC trading is through these exchanges.

I don't know if some known exchanges offer anonymity right now especially those who used to be decentralized are now has changed their point of view because the government force them to do so. However, there are few exchanges out there that still exist offer you their service without getting some KYC from you. They are those exchanges that give you a limit if you didn't pass any KYC to them but right now it seems to me like they also getting unto this kind of exchange and they too are now adopting the policy of making obliged the KYC of their users before they can use their service. just like what happened to Binance and other known exchanges that haven't been like that before.
3623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another pump and dump manipulation on: December 09, 2021, 08:48:06 AM
That was scary, and RIP to the people who bought at its ATH they need to move on and say goodbye to their capital because there will be no way for it to recover. Those dudes will plan again another pump and dump strategy but on a different project where investors never thought what might be about to happen on their coins. If this gonna happen on the coins you invested, don't rush to buy other coins again, instead, take a little time to investigate and ponder upon what's going on because abnormal increases in the price have always some kind of anomaly so you better be careful not do the same mistake as the victim has done because they were blinded by the sudden increases of the price.
3624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Documentary 'Finding Satoshi' will investigate the origins of Satoshi Nakamoto on: December 09, 2021, 08:01:51 AM
I doubt they would be able to keep this kind of news under wraps as the primary investigations are probably done by this point and the footage will more or less be a follow-up on those investigations. It will probably follow through with some possible suspects with some drama thrown in. Still a good watch IMHO.

I don't think it's true because before any documentary is being made, we already know the truth behind it that there is no conclusion on what they are seeking because until now, the only information we know about Satoshi is the info he left public long ago and that was the last clue we have and we don't hear anything anymore from him. As for the new claim that new information is being attributed to him these days, that's all hoax or probably someone wanted to steal his identity again by the false claim of other impostors.
3625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 09, 2021, 04:42:46 AM
The Houston Rockets just beat the Brooklyn Nets today 104-114, that team is the number 1 seed in the eastern conference. Man! this team is starting to get on their rhythms, you won't see such things happening in an NBA season more often and they are now on their 7th straight win. They were the last team last month and they were struggling too much to get a single win after losing almost every game and now they are rallying to get to the top 10 just a few more wins to go.

3626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Q:Why isn't the Shocking Ethereum Fees discussed more in Media? A:... on: December 09, 2021, 04:01:31 AM
It's true that Gas fees are ridiculously high since a long time now and we are not seeing a resolution to this. It is actually creating market gap for BNB. Nowadays BNB has become the most preferred chain to complete transactions for the token owners.

Vitalik is definitely aware of this issue and I am sure bigger plans are ongoing in the background. ETH 2.0 is definitely coming sonner than later. Otherwise there's literally no solution to the high gas fees.

This is their main concern right now and as soon as they see the decline of users on their graph, they will mainly focus to fix it because that's the only thing that will make them change their minds. When they only see that nothing has changed, and their users are still increasing despite their main problem, then they won't really give some time to fix it. It might be hard for the small investors but as everyone knows, when money involves, the one who gets the benefit will not be bothered about what really happening in his surroundings.
3627  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Is HODL the only strategy? on: December 09, 2021, 03:41:38 AM
Hold can't be the only strategy because there are many other strategies that can be taken by making a profit. the proof is that yesterday when the price of bitcoin broke through $68k, it could be sold and bought again when the price dropped to the lowest price of $42k, how much profit did we get and how much time was saved. while if it continues to be held and the current conditions how much profit has been lost and have to wait a long time to be able to return to the highest price.

Yes! buy low and sell high is another opportunity for the investors if they wanted to gain profit other than holding for the long term. But it requires a big amount of capital since as soon as the price rise again for a little percentage, you gonna sell your BTC right away. Unless you switch to hodl a little more longer to maximize your profit. Most of the investors go for a long time hodl because they invested some money they can afford to lose. in other words, those holding for a long term, have already sacrificed their money for the sake of rising the price further more.
3628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 08, 2021, 11:07:30 AM

Placed a bet on this match and I go with KD and Harden. Right now the Mavs has the lead looks like I'm going to lose this game tonight. We'll let's see what will KD and Harden will do against Luka and their star players.

Brooklyn Nets won last night because KD and Harden are both playing as the number one seed in the eastern conference. They took the lead in the 4th quarter after struggling to cut it off and in the last minutes of the 4th quarter, they were constantly shooting high percentage shots which able them to catch up even though the lead was in double digits. Durant was in good condition and was able to get good shots in the 4th quarter which lead them to cut the double-digit trails and win the game.

3629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why projects takes forever to launch? on: December 08, 2021, 10:42:16 AM
What could make a project hanging around for many years and still fail to launch their project in the market? I'm actually talking about pi network that I've knew since 2017/2018 but till date they failed to launch and yet I keep seeing their offices active in China and other part of the Asian market, I'm just wondering why they aren't up and running already

There has been some project that only gives false promise to their investors by delaying their launch and when they see something new has come up, they deliberately leave it and focus on the new one like what happened to some of the old projects that switch their focus on NFTs. Some others just give it up and didn't really pursue to develop their project as they said in their road maps. Because most of the time, the problem would be because of the lack of funds and support from big-time investors.
3630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Gary Russell vs Mark Magsayo WBC Featherweight Title on: December 08, 2021, 04:25:12 AM
Oh his getting another good fight again, this is fine since he already unleashed his skills on his last fight by knocking cold his opponent. This time he is fighting a champion, he should not be like the last time where he took some punches recklessly because Russel can also knock him out. Either way, this will be a must-watch fight for me since Magsayo is on his way on his journey to be one of the greatest fighters in the world.
3631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: $2 million worth of SHIBA INU bought on: December 08, 2021, 01:50:29 AM
As per the latest update an Ethereum whale has purchased SHIB worth over $2 million, is that why we have seen recovery in the price over last 24 hours? I am wondering whether this will push more users to buy SHIB as there are two reasons why users will buy SHIB, one just because it's recovering and second is the assumption that whenever whales invest into any crypto it would pump hard. Are we being bull trapped again ?

If it's only coming from one investor then I highly recommended not to do so, because it only took one move to change the situation of SHIB market again. You better be careful with this because it only came from a single source where they can manipulate its market easily unless after it there will be many investors will buy SHIB. then the price will rise again and you have an opportunity to decide whether you gonna join them or wait for a while to do so. Altcoins price is not like bitcoins, some of them never recover until now because of lack of development. so stay vigilant and don't get carried away by the hype.
3632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why I prefer Bitcoin over any other assets and dips don't panic me.... on: December 08, 2021, 01:19:01 AM
Dips in the bitcoin market mean opportunities for investors. that's how good bitcoin is because no matter how it looks bad, it always recovers if we based on its past history. right now, bitcoin is at the price where it has never been before which is finally passed the $20,000 mark. it took to finish the bitcoin halving to get to this high and surely when another halving comes, the price will increase. The safest crypto-asset right now is putting it all on bitcoins when the price is still low.
3633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 07, 2021, 01:32:36 PM

I can't believe that the 76ers are already in the top 7 now, they really have a struggle when Embiid was out, and now that he is back, I'm pretty sure they'll start climbing in ranking again. Great game for these two teams but must better game for the winner.

This trade should be able to boost their performance as a team because they are really struggling without Ben Simmons on their defense and most of the teams are playing 100% this season. Looks like this is a good offer for both teams and the Portland needed Ben Simmons but he needs to showcase his skills in his new team if he ever wanted to make a good comeback and shut all of his bashers.

3634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nearly 90% of all Bitcoin will have been mined in about one week. on: December 07, 2021, 01:00:31 PM
Bitcoin isn't an essential stuff so we can't bank on the fact that the demand will always be consistent not to mention that without this red days in the market, I think that we will eventually make the prices so premium that it's going to be difficult for newbies to get in.

Honestly, it's difficult to get it right now for some investors who wanted to join the trend today but if they are lucky enough to think that instead of going one time, what if they just cut their spending on some leisure and put the money on bitcoins one at a time no matter how much the price is. The price will eventually be back to its ATH in the future or probably break a new record and by that time they are already in the market with their investment.
3635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't give information instead share information. on: December 07, 2021, 03:36:08 AM
The good thing about sharing information in this community is the other users will further expand what you are sharing or add some more information in order to help more whoever needs it. Like for example, I shared how to use night mode on browser years ago, someone shared about Flux where it relaxes your eyes instead of turning everything black and I'm using it until today thanks to the guy who shared it on my thread. When sharing knowledge, you are not only giving them some hints or tips but the sharer also gets some benefits from it by getting unanswered questions and additional tips from the other members.
3636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Jake Paul vs Tyron Woodley 2 - December 18 on: December 07, 2021, 03:00:00 AM
Oh, the same result again right?

looking forward to seeing this kind of scenario, where when he has the chance to follow up some huge punches but he chose to remain calm because he might lose his payment if he throws another punch. Rig!

3637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will competitors defeat ETH due to ever-increasing gas fees? on: December 07, 2021, 02:23:37 AM
They won't defeat Ethereum Network because the people behind it continue to improve their service and they still developing some strategy to counter the gas fees problem. But right now, it seems like the best smart chain network is the lowest gas fees and has fast transactions. Matic's Polygon is the best with that but they can only do that because they don't have massive users that using their platform. as soon as their system exceeds the limit, they too will have the problem with the gas fees and the network congestion.
3638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin creator? Craig Wright 100% Satoshi Nakamoto? on: December 07, 2021, 01:59:07 AM
What will be the impact of this news on the bitcoin market? because they putting this news on the front page and everyone is currently talking about it today.

I think if they also published about this guy's false claims, they won't really be bothered about what he says anymore. But unfortunately, they won't gonna do that because they might already get some tips from him.
3639  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Are Human capable of creating a deadly Virus? on: December 06, 2021, 12:11:09 PM

The latest theories on this topic are extremely interesting. The moronic (anagram of it name) virus contains a cocktail of most of the latest variants. The spike protein appears to be a retrograde evolution, and, which this can occur, it seems unlikely that all of these changes would appear suddenly in one variant. I am starting to suspect that it was created to replace all of the current variants very quickly, hence it high rate of infectivity, but to have a very minimal effect on the infected population. This could be used to conceal the dramatic failure of the current courses of injection pretending to be vaccinations, which have been stimulating the production of variants.

What you are saying right here actually makes sense and I'm having goosebumps as soon as I reached this line "This could be used to conceal the dramatic failure". These people who are behind this pandemic know exactly what they are doing and if it's true that they're just going to use this so-called new variant to cover their sins, then that would be another chaotic drama to the world.

Let's just hope that nothing like that would ever happen in the future and everything will finally be over after this one.
3640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: This December is a weird one on: December 06, 2021, 11:40:13 AM
The crypto market is weird in its ultimate sense where the price won't stay for too long rather it goes up and down frequently. Those people who have been in this market for a while, know exactly what's going on and they just simply relax and don't really care about it whether the price is on a roller coaster this past few days. Looks like we will not accomplish any new ATH for the top 10 cryptocurrencies in the crypto market this month rather the price will be unpredictable if it's able to hold its current position or not. If you are a heavy investor, you should know that you need to take a closer look at when to pull back your investment.
