3621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NXT] Nxt - Official Thread on: September 11, 2014, 01:52:56 PM
Why is the price going up?  Any news?

People buy NXT hoping for the NXT price to go up to buy superNET asset on the last day.

Having the money in escrow is nice and all, but putting $1m in James' pocket right away sounds ridiculous.
Am I missing something?

James will lose his 1 million dollars if superNET fail.
He puts money in it because he believes in it.
It's simple as that.
3624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Mining on: September 11, 2014, 11:53:02 AM
Hello, I am new with XMR and don't know what type of rig do I need for XMR mining. As I understood XMR is a scrypt coin yes? Now Can I use a scrypt rig for that? I have a 30 MH asic scrypt miner. Can I use that for XMR? how much XMR  a day will have?
The algo is cryptonight.
It is impossible to mine XMR with a ASIC.
Then what type of rig should I buy or have?
Where to buy/rent ?
where to calculate it's income.

There are 2 type of rig :
 - cloud CPU rig (Amazon AWS) that are currently not profitable.
 - GPU rig : you have to build it yourself with GPU or rent from someone on this forum.

To calculate the income, have a look at the hardware comparison here :
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1MI-ic0Os25hgGUImW54sUIjZY_pUNQNa_W8Se5pRGBs/edit#gid=0

Then use a calculator from a pool like this one : http://monero.crypto-pool.fr/

Can we increase the minimum threshold payment its starting to be expensive all these small payment with .1 fees!

We pay the 0.1 XMR fee from the pool to your wallet.
As a pool, we can pay over 100 people in one transaction with the same 0.1 fee.

If you are worried about sending from your wallet to the exchange, you can wait to have more XMR on your wallet or simply wait for the devs to lower the fees.
3627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Claymore CryptoNote GPU Miner v6.1 on: September 11, 2014, 10:05:07 AM
sgminer V5 now support Cryptonigsh algo  Huh

Even if they add cryptonight it doesn't mean that it is faster.
3628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 11, 2014, 09:46:08 AM
Hello. I have one question. Why the price for one TOKEN on NXT AE is right now only 125.5 NXT? When ICO started, the price for TOKEN on NXT AE was 127 NXT,  then 129 NXT (I mean price direct from asset issuer). I thought that when I buy sooner price should be better for me then to buy later ... .
NXT price spike, about 20% since start, so this is more than the gradual 1% per day cost increase

The ICO price is adjusted depending on the BTC/NXT price.
As James said, BTC/NXT increased over 20% which is superior to the 15% early bonus.

Nothing to worry about, any increase in Nxt is beneficial to superNET.

I haven't been on the website for a long time.
I tried to connect. My laptop freeze for few minutes.
I gave up.

3631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] SuperNET - ICO conducted by BTER + ... on: September 11, 2014, 08:18:28 AM
ignore the true about this scam. supernet is hype and nothing to it, no legit coin would join this network.
i see 4.4% is going into jl777 pocket already and 10% is on it way, now this is scam
the people and coins that benefits the most are jl777, nxt and bitcoindark, even though bitcoindark itself is dying as jl777 focus in his own scam now, supernet

^ lol this guy is hilarious.
So much hate, I love it  Kiss

3638  Economy / Economics / Re: US National Debt / Deficit - How does it end? on: September 10, 2014, 10:21:32 AM
Things change, and now they are changing faster than ever. Modern monetary system is almost completely different than that of previous empires. And I'm watching.

Yes, the monetary system is different but the goal is the same : create infinite amount of money to ensure endless prosperity.
When a goal is impossible, it doesn't really matter what solutions you come with.

Prosperity can only be temporal and given to some people (as opposed to everyone).
Nothing last forever, especially as you say, when things change faster than ever.

The faster the change, the more unstable is the world and the more short sighted are people.

3640  Economy / Economics / Re: US National Debt / Deficit - How does it end? on: September 10, 2014, 10:01:00 AM
It is amazing how some people still believe the fall of the USA is not going to happen.
As if an Empire can last forever.
As if you can "fix things" politically.
As if it didn't happened already.
How does it relate to the topic we discuss here?

I answered the topic :

How does it end ?
It does not end.

There are things that are ineluctable. All previous empires/kingdoms had the same money/inflation problem. No of them ever solved it.

Watch the fall and enjoy.
