3621  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitfinex quiestion on: July 16, 2020, 11:44:11 PM
I would like to share a few links that maybe helpful to you, but I think as far as trading limits are concerned. If you are not looking to withdraw or deposits stable coins of fiat currencies. Then you don't have to worry so much about KYC

Quote
Do I need to verify my account to start trading?

No, you do not need to verify your account to start trading on most listed currencies on Bitfinex. Verification is only required for users wishing to deposit/withdraw fiat currencies (e.g. USD), for selected utility and stable coins, (e.g. LEO, OKB, USDK), and/or for users who wish to speed up the deposit process. Users wishing to deposit/trade/withdraw most cryptocurrencies are not required to verify their account. However, as per our Terms of Service, we reserve the right to ask for KYC information at any point in time if your account activity raises flags.

Why don't you guys make an announcement about your trading platform in the Service Announcements or Exchanges board so that you get the right audience?
I also want to know the minimum amount one has to deposit in order to be eligible for the trading competition.

3625  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Have ETH and need BTC on: July 16, 2020, 05:15:40 PM
I would have helped you but right now the bitcoin mempool is congested with unconfirmed transactions, which means to get the transaction confirmed at least in the next 5 blocks, I need to pay a fee of at least 58.6 sats/byte which is roughly $1 according to electrum wallet

Check out these lists, they could be helpful to you;

How about changelley
I have seen complaints about Changelly demanding for KYC verification. Avoid it
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League Discussion Thread on: July 14, 2020, 09:46:47 PM
I feel that financial fair play and justice just died yesterday 😀
Everything is about money of course and now there is no limits what others clubs like Paris SG can do and how much their rich owners can invest in new players.
Small clubs have no chance in this game any more and real sport just died.
Though I am a neutral when it comes to teams that play in the English Premier League, but I was very disappointed by yesterday's decision to lift that Manchester City ban. What's the point of FFP is some rich clubs can just circumvent the imposed bans and rules?  Embarrassed
3628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: ButerinDice: SatoshiDice but on Ethereum on: July 14, 2020, 09:18:22 PM
Yo. Does anyone remember SatoshiDice? It failed because of the high fees / slow confirmations of the Bitcoin network. This is an Ethereum clone "ButerinDice" with 3 different static addresses:
https://github.com/ButerinDice/ButerinDice
I know that this technically doesn't run on Bitcoin, but I decided to post this here in honour of SatoshiDice and the history of this forum Smiley
Why did you choose Ethereum network over TRON or EOS? Because from what we have seen, the current network is also prone to high fees and lots of pending confirmations if it gets clogged. Remember Cryptokitties?

This is the very reason Ethereum Network is not popular when it comes to casino and gambling platforms despite being more established and older than TRON and EOS.
3629  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Coins vs Tokens - What's the difference? on: July 14, 2020, 08:41:03 PM
Some small corrections;
Coins are a independent operates in any platform.
A coin in cryptocurrency terms has its own blockchain it operates in. It doesn't operate in any platform/network.

  • Ethereum
  • Ripple

Ethereum is the network or blockchain, Ether is the coin
Ripple is the network/parent company, XRP is the coin/digital asset

Binance coin:
Not Binance coin but rather Binance Chain, Binance Coin(BNB) is the native coin of Binance chain.
3630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 14, 2020, 08:23:46 PM
Congrats on your win, but I find betting on this low odds always tricky. I have lost too many bets with similar odds in the past. Minimum odd for me is around 1.7; but everybody needs to play the bets that he/she likes. There are even people placing bets with an odd of 1.01 (and sometimes they still loose  Tongue).

I don't think there is any doubt that Real Madrid will win the title this year.
1.43 is little reasonable, I also had a friend who would place bet with very low odds like 1.10, and he would sometimes lose  Grin
As for me, I am usually attracted to odds of 1.95+ and my favourite is Under or Over 2.5 Goals where the probability of winning the bet is 1/2.
3631  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Big Trouble with TradeOgre (Money confiscation) on: July 14, 2020, 06:50:17 PM
They initially asked for 0.025btc, then 0.05 , then 0.075 and now 0.1.

I stupidly and reluctantly transferred the first three sets of btc as I believed the account may have contained amounts greater than that. They've now asked for another 0.1, which would take total transfers to over 2k dollars.

Wondered if i could get your opinion on this, as they've seemingly already stolen over 1k dollars from me.
GLR4444 has been offline for over a year and basing on the past accusations around the forum, I believe they are scammers.
When they asked you for 0.025btc, that should have been a red flag right there.
3632  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I Want to buy USDT (Tether ERC20) using cash (EUR/GBP) in London UK on: July 14, 2020, 10:49:31 AM
I don't know if some members can help you out here with those amounts but incase you are having a challenge,  try by checking out the exchanges listed on bestchange and see if they are favorable to what you expect.

I see all of the listed exchangers have reserves of 100,000+ USDT

3633  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to make your sites more positive or make sites negative? on: July 14, 2020, 09:56:50 AM
I don't think it's even worth it. Why not just grow your website's reputation naturally and without the use of fake reviews. By the way;
1. If someone is smart enough, they can easily notice fake reviews.
2. Most people know how easy it is to make fake reviews on the websites you have mentioned above and therefore won't relay on reviews made there.

3634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: FTMs BRIDGE on: July 13, 2020, 11:58:41 PM
I guess you are talking about Fantom token.
What's the name of the wallet you were using?
Can you please add more details like Which type of address you sent the tokens to? Was it and Ether address or a binance chain address?
Which type of tokens did you send? BEP2 or ERC20?
Lastly do you have access to the address' Private keys or Seed phrase?
3635  Economy / Reputation / Re: nutildah trust abuser on: July 13, 2020, 11:39:55 PM
Nice catch!
He is for sure Rambotnic/Boombl4/OldSamurai

Everything I pointed out from Boombl4 and OldSamurai posts I found from Rambotnic posts aswell.

For latest update about Rambotnic check my last post. For clear picture everyone should read whole thread.

Lol, I remember @Rambotnic, a poor man's TMAN. Tried so hard to be profane  Grin I guess old habits die hard.
Checking Rambotnic's trust summary on the retaliatory feedback he sent out anyone who spoke against him. It's quite clear that even a low iq person can surely agree that OldSamurai = Rambotnic

3636  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Hashrate vs price chart on: July 13, 2020, 11:17:13 PM
Hi.

I was looking at the hashrate vs price chart and I am wondering if there actually is any correlation between those two. If hashrate drops significantly do you think it would affect BTC price at all?

You just have to look at the recent crash this March, and you will see that there are correlations. When the price goes down hard, the hash rate also decline. I think you can start your investigations from there.
In other words, the hashrate can't be used to predict the price of Bitcoin according to OP's interest but it's possible vice verse as Hashrate follows what happens with the bitcoin price.

so I guess not so many miners closed their mining farms.
If you noticed, immediately after the halving, the mining fee was  high and it still is during weekdays. So, even after halving of the block rewards, there is still enough incentive to keep the miners happy in form of transaction fees and if there are miners who closed their farms, I don't think they are many.
3637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 13, 2020, 11:01:08 PM
Phew! those finals minutes were SO nerve-wracking, so much tension, wtf!? our toughest match post-virus since Getafe, but we got there, 3 points! What a game from Modric!!
Indeed, the last minutes of the game, Granada were looking to draw blood  Shocked
it's awesome, that Real Madrid tried to kill off the game in first half. If it wasn't for those early goals like Real Madrid usually do by waiting to score in second half, it could have easily been a loss or draw.
3638  Other / Meta / Re: Chinese National Security law on: July 13, 2020, 10:29:13 PM
The national security law really will not affect this forum, because they will not get anything from this forum, except important information about cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
They can get some personal information just like @PrimeNumber7 pointed out in a reply above yours should @Theymos decide to cooperate with them or through third party services like Amazon Web Services, Cloudflare etc. Personal information that could be requested can vary from Email addresses, Private messages, User IP logs to Log of all viewed topics etc Such information is more than enough to track some people who are not privacy conscious by trying to use Tor, encrypting sensitive PMs and so on.
3639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: July 13, 2020, 09:54:24 PM
Wait what! A late goal ruined the fun for Manchester United... What a shitty luck, the guy was just in 10 minutes ago...
I could imagine the laugh of Chelsea and Leicester staff and fans, incredible!
Man United 2 - 2 Southampton...
This result coupled with the decision made by UEFA earlier on today that Manchester City will participate in next year's UEFA Champion's League will even make the Last day Match between Leicester City and Manchester United even much more mouth watering.
3640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2019/20 on: July 13, 2020, 09:42:38 PM
To be fair to them, Real can practically confirm the title today.
Not yet. Barcelona still have a chance. If Real Madrid won today and then went on to lose the remaining 2 matches with Barcelona winning all their remaining matches, then Barcelona would be champions. The League title will be confirmed on the Villarreal match if they win it, that's after winning tonight's game.
