3621  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anybody know a good Bitcoin price widget app for Linux? on: November 05, 2020, 07:15:52 PM
Thanks everyone for the suggestions I am sure this thread will be useful to me again in the near future. For now, I decided to use Coin Price Indicator which was suggested by @joniboini. It's simple and does exactly what I needed  Smiley

3622  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinsbit KYC on: November 05, 2020, 06:59:15 PM
Why would you want someone to send their KYC document to a shit and scam exchange like coinsbit?
Coinsbit is already proven scam with 20+ scam accusations just here alone. Let me help you list a few threads. If you are planning to deposit any assets in there, please don't.
3623  Economy / Exchanges / Re: An idea of non-custodial P2P Exchange on: November 04, 2020, 09:04:22 PM
What is your thought on this guys? Is this solution better than the current P2P model?
Have you used localcryptos before? The idea is pretty much the same but with real bitcoins and not wBTC
1. When you create an account, There is an option to download a back up of your generated wallet addresses linked to your account. So even if localcrpytos went offline, you scan still access your addresses by importing the private keys to another wallet

2. When you open up a trade, let's say you want to sell BTC, you have to first fund the escrow by actually sending BTC in an escrow address, You are even given an option to edit the transaction fee you would like to use. After 1 confirmation, the buyer is then given time to send fiat money to you after which you can release the BTC in the escrow to the buyer.

This is far better than what you are suggesting because one has to go through the hassle of buying wBTC in case they initially had BTC. AFAIK, most platforms that swap BTC for WBTC require one to first fulfil KYC verification which is a NO-go area for most traders who want to use noncustodial P2P exchanges.
3624  Economy / Service Discussion / Anybody know a good Bitcoin price widget app for Linux? on: November 04, 2020, 04:29:18 AM
I use BitTab on my Windows desktop and I liked;
1. Its ability to be positioned at the top or bottom of the desktop minus covering or getting covered by other open apps
2. Ability to select coin price from a specific exchange

Unfortunately they only have a Windows app.

My question is that, is there any such alternative app with a linux version?
3625  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: The BEST Bitcoin price ticker widget for Windows PC. (Recommend) on: November 04, 2020, 04:14:38 AM
I have been looking for a good bitcoin price ticker widget for Linux but so far not successful. I use BitTab on Windows and like it so much but unfortunately there is no Linux version. Any plan of introducing the Linux version?
3626  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: November 03, 2020, 10:20:45 PM
A quick question : what happens if a player I listed won't play the match?

Obviously you get zero points for that selection.

If you haven't locked your picks yet, i would suggest you remove Mbappe from your lineup as he is not going to play vs. Leipzig tomorrow.

"Mbappe missing for PSG with hamstring injury as he joins Neymar & Icardi on the sidelines"

Well Well Well, I guess I am not that updated and informed anymore about injuries Angry
Another incoming poor performance for me this week.

Damn you Diogo Jota! Why didn't I pick and captain you?
The boy has been on fire lately to the extent that I think he's going to displace off form Roberto Firmino very soon
3627  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possibly Phishing Haircomb Wallet & Using of Stock Image on: November 02, 2020, 12:43:39 AM
to get Haircomb coins.
You have to be careful with such wallets mate, getting some coins is not worth your security. People have lost millions of dollars in crypto due to fake wallets that have malware in them. For example this user lost over $1M worth of crypto because he was trying to claim a forked coin (Bitcoin Diamond) so he downloaded a fake wallet that had malware.

7 months ago, only 3 antivirus detected malware in the wallet. Right now, over 9 of them say the wallet has malware https://www.virustotal.com/gui/file/d998e6a3a532e6a099d0a3ba31640526d9eb67dd07714e4b3b63c48227dce54e/detection

3628  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Possibly Phishing Haircomb Wallet & Using of Stock Image on: November 01, 2020, 11:34:21 PM
I am running antivirus now because of computer issues - usb disconnects, lags, freezes while typing in apps. The only thing that I recently downloaded and ran was this haircomb wallet software.
If I were you, I would backup all my important media file and documents, and then carry out a fresh installation of windows as soon as possible. The people behind the wallet are very suspicious, on top of that, some antivirus engines have flagged the wallet to have some malware.

Among the many good wallets around, why did you choose Haircomb Wallet?

Nice catch, reporting impersonating domains to registrars is quite effective as well.  Their domain registrar is GoDaddy.com, I don't know if they are as effective in taking down fraudulent domains as namecheap.com but let me wait and see. I have reported the domain.

3630  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: November 01, 2020, 08:12:26 PM
Hello guys !

Just to warn you be really careful with CloudBet, i think i got scammed, i played there for a few months but 1 month ago, i had some big wins and one day to another my account got locked with all my funds and i was asked to prove my identity, fine i sent an email with all the proofs but 1 month later still nothing and every time i exchange with the support, i am told that there is no update about my case and they have no contact with the verification team.

I think as long as you don't win much it won't happen to you but get out before the same happens to you

Stay safe
If you feel you have been scammed or your case is not being solved then why don't you just create a decent scam accusation/complaint with proof such as screenshots of mails and chat logs with support showing how they have been tossing you around?
Nobody needs to talk a full month verifying KYC. That's not fair IMO.
3631  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Is https://crexbtc.com, exchange legit on: November 01, 2020, 06:14:54 PM
Hello all,

I have completed a secured deal in https://crexbtc.com
now when I try to withdraw they ask to verify the account by depositing 0.1 BTC in the account from an external address
By completing a secure deal you mean they gave you a bonus in an account in the exchange?

Sorry to disappoint you, the BTC you are trying to withdraw is not there. What you see in your account are just cooked up figures intended to make you think you have some BTC.

I have visited the website and it looks like one of the many scam exchanges I have seen before. I don't send them any BTC
3632  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Reminder for LUMI wallet users. on: October 31, 2020, 11:15:05 PM
That would be suck, but it's partially user fault if they don't make any backup. I don't know if this wallet suggest you to make backup when user create new wallet, but at least they offer multiple backup method (12-word mnemonic and file)
They suggest, but they don't enforce it like making the user rewrite the 12-work mnemonic phrase to confirm that they backed it up as it is with some good wallets like Electrum. This is a point where I think most users of such wallets end up using the wallet without backing it up. Because all one has to do is check the option saying "I have written down the mnemonic phrase" and boom they are in.
3633  Economy / Reputation / Re: Feedback abuse( on: October 31, 2020, 10:21:49 PM
Now I understand, and if something happens, I can turn to this topic as a source. Thanks.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=1117066

Most of the feedback is in Russian, and I am not sure what he was leaving as feedback, but he looks like someone who was/is trying to farm for positive feedback and Custom trust list inclusions by meaninglessly sending it randomly to people expecting them to do the same.
I don't know why this topic is being used as a reference for most of the positive feedback he left members.

Luckily, a number of members must have observed his suspicious behavior in the past and excluded him in their custom trust lists. So he's not on DT right now and chances of becoming one are pretty low.
3634  Economy / Reputation / Re: Feedback abuse( on: October 31, 2020, 08:27:47 PM
Can I be accused of expressing dissatisfaction? Or that I am posting this person's link? What if he sees it and leaves me a bad review?
You are just inquiring and using the left feedback as an example, not accusing anybody. If they left you a negative feedback based on that then that would be real abuse of the trust feedback, but never mind, let me just check out in my own way  Smiley

The opinions from members on the case where he sent lots of positive feedbacks to many profiles in a just couple of days may differ but it could matter a lot if the person is a DT member.

3635  Economy / Reputation / Re: Feedback abuse( on: October 31, 2020, 08:15:00 PM
That's not the right way of sending positive feedback IMO. It would be better to know who exactly the person behind that sent feedback is.
Is he/she on DT?

Please share the link to the profile is you don't mind
3636  Economy / Exchanges / Re: After Two Weeks : OKex Withdrawal Remains Suspended on: October 31, 2020, 02:47:28 PM
How long more users need to wait for the withdrawal function? What could be the maximum thing that the team is doing now to resolve the issue? What are your thoughts on this?
Those are the kind of questions you should be asking the Okex team or support because only they know what exactly is going on. I don't think anybody here knows how long the affected users need to wait before withdrawals are enabled.
This should be a reminder once again. Not your private keys, not your money. Only keep what you can afford to lose in an exchange if you must.
3637  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: October 30, 2020, 11:19:06 PM
I have 79 mBTC frozen after winning a sports bet, I have sent the documents that you have requested yesterday to your email for the KYC process but I have not received a response and I need the money, can you please help me?

https://prnt.sc/va972b

You should be a little patient. If you did nothing wrong, you are going to get your money. Verification takes some hours of days in most cases. I hope everything works out well for you.

Good evening everyone! I'm so glad it's Friday and I've got so much on the horizon in terms of football I feel like I'm all set for the weekend. Since I'll be winning Steve's Multi Magic, I don't mind putting a fiver on this baby right here. Odds boost on the underdog feels so good, baby.

https://sportsbet.io/sharebetslip/dc40795a-4013-4796-8947-cdc05c15f419

P.S. Noticed the betslip doesn't show the boosted odds (it's boosted to 13.10 for Cologne for total parlay of 18.34)
Betting against Bayern Munich? You got some balls of steel there bro  Cheesy
I personally would be more confident betting against the likes of Barcelona or Real Madrid but surely not against red-hot Bayern Munich. Anyway let's see how it goes and may luck be on your side.
3638  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] ▲▼ Exolix - Secure & Anonymous Crypto Exchange Service on: October 30, 2020, 09:53:20 PM
Is Exolix non-custodial?
From what I observed recently. It is a custodial service because they at times freeze traders' funds and ask for KYC  on grounds of suspicious transactions. A non-custodial service would never even have any power to freeze user funds.
3639  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Wha happened here? jochen-hoenicke.de on: October 30, 2020, 09:42:43 PM
LoL !!!!  Grin Grin
I would expect better than than that. I mean, they have their own pool, why would they use 3rd party data?
Also btc.com chart may be older that J-H one (at least I've heard of btc.com page way earlier than about the J-H page, but I am aware that this may not mean anything).

On the other hand.. other 2 charts don't seem to have the glitch:
https://mempool.observer/#historical-mempool
https://www.blockchain.com/charts/mempool-size
Mempool.space's graph have doesn't have such an error as well https://mempool.space/graphs#24h

It's such a shame for Btc.com thou. And they even went ahead and put a BTC.COM label on their chart  Grin
3640  Economy / Gambling / Re: LOL.. so little warning sending coins to Roobet - =) ur gonna love this on: October 30, 2020, 08:50:37 PM
Have you tried contacting their support? What have they told you about the situation?
... or you are that kind of guy who makes a mountain out of the situation minus getting an explanation from the other party?

Could be an error or glitch that could quickly be resolved without you coming out here to spit fire.
