Even if Bitcoin became worth $1 million, there would still be unhappy people, even with tons of wealth.
I did not get into Bitcoin to to become "rich," I got involved with Bitcoin as a means of money transfering and investing.
Rich would be nice, not certainly not a 100% guarantee.

Stellar was the most significant cryptocurrency alongside Ethereum [ETH] last week, development-wise. In the week that saw major coins across the top 100 stay in red, Stellar included, it was difficult to point out the best performing crypto. Nevertheless, Stellar seems to have edged the rest in the top 20 category with its performance off the trading floor.

When Vitalik Buterin announced the impending publication of “Casper” and “Plasma” and signaled that Ethereum was poised to extend its dominance over competitors, only Stellar seemed ready to continue fighting for slice of the huge market. The smart contracts and dApps platform has serious competition with coins like EOS, NEO, and NEM all stacked up against Ethereum’s unassailable lead. However, Stellar is the one that is likely to come out strongly out of the rest.

And this assumption is anchored in a document released earlier this year by Stellar.org: the 2018 Stellar Roadmap. Interestingly, the roadmap only has two goals for the year.  The first goal was to have the Stellar Decentralised Exchange launched. The other was to implement the Lightning Network to improve on scalability and speed. The second roadmap goal is going to make Stellar faster and cheaper, but it’s the SDEX that has potential to make XLM appealing to investors and partners alike. Here is a snip of the roadmap.

While it's rather disheartening to see the price/value of GNT slowly crumble to a fraction of what it was once worth, this is the case for every and each alt coin.
Therefore, I would not sell these tokens under any circumstances.  Keep holding and one day (hopefully sooner) we will all be thankful we did!

It's also an advantage to having Bitcoin as an investment, where you are more likely to earn a better ROI then if your cash was in a savings account. 

In a perfect world, secondary institutions would require a course on Bitcoin and other crypto currencies.
I think that this perfect world, however, may be farther from reality then we all wish.
Give it some time to be commercially recognized, we are still in its infancy stages.

It's never too late to buy Bitcoin.  As someone else already mentioned, this is a great time to buy Bitcoin.
Segwit adoption is almost at 30% so expect things to get much brighter in the near future (this year) for Bitcoin and other cryptos!

Update:

I had 2 deposits awaiting conformation for well over 10 hours.
I then deposited a little more, and all 3 deposits were confirmed at the same time within minutes.
Definitely strange...

If you have some extra money to invest and are considering crypto, the best option honestly is Bitcoin. 
Even though I'm a fan of many other alt coins (and a huge ETH fan), it's best for newbs to get involved with BTC before becoming familiar with other coins. 

Well, probably the most news worthy is reddit, but you can google search and find numerous amounts of btc news sites.
Coindesk is another good one but it all depends on what exactly you're looking for.

Either with money or give them an ultimatum.  Everyone needs a place to sleep and food to eat.

I strongly agree that Bitcoin will be an international currency, but also that it will serve as a status symbol for the elite of the wealthy. 
Of course, this is all somewhat wishful thinking but its what I stand for and truly believe.

I don't mind articles like these as you have a major player in the game that mentions Bitcoin.  As someone already mentioned, Bill Gates has been known to change his opinions and at one point was a fan of Bitcoin (if my memory serves me correctly). 

Even if you're new to this space, it should be no surprise that the price of BTC is steadily rebounding.  This is a regular continues cycle so if you can't handle the sudden dips, it may be best to either get a new hobby or just to not follow the price that frequently.
