You could also try put this into the service section.

IMO, redsn0w did indeed fuck up, but he fixed the situation and the harmed party seems to be satisfied. THAT SHOULD BE ALL THAT MATTERS. Everyone else engaging in a witchunt against him IMO is out of line and needs to get a life.
there's something I don't understand here. I'm trying to and I'll start by asking this: do you agree that badbear should remove his neg trust? I don't think he deserves negative trust from third parties no. I think if the harmed user wanted to leave negative feedback that would be appropriate. IMO this need for the staff to some how perfect the trust system by obsessively policing it is the very reason it has become so destructive. Their job is to POLICE THE FORUM, not the trust. If they try to also police the trust they also bring their baggage from dealing with scammers, trolls, and spammers all day and act callously with little regard for anyone involved, and with little thought, because by their own admission they don't have time to be doing this. ah I see. for a second there I thought that you agreed that third parties should leave negative feedback on redsn0w if they feel like it, yet telling them to stop doing the witch hunt when michaeladairm asked you. the off-topic replies kinda threw me of the loop

takagari defaulted on a loan but I don't consider him to be a scammer.
Vod needs to be removed from DefaultTrust.
no one is calling the OP a scammer. vod simply called him a liar, and I got to say that he is immature too. and in case people haven't noticed yet, this problem was supposed to be over already when vod removed his negative feedback and replaced it with a neutral one (that was the source of the OP's outbursts in the first place). but for some reason takagari replied by leaving a negative feedback on vod, extending the issue.

does the system automatically filters out messages that have less than allowed words? sometimes I just feel like posting a few words messages when I replied to some ridiculously dumb posts (like this, it's an Indonesian thread tho) that's my first one word post tho, don't go thinking that I spam one words all the time ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

I think it is fair that the trust rating should be removed once the escrow service in my deal is completed and sealed. Does anyone else agree with this?
there, the core of this problem has spoken. I do agree that it should. I don't see any problem as long as redsn0w doesn't open up another escrow service in the near future

I was thinking of making a thread with the very same topic after seeing that and vod/taka feud (I think someone should address the later btw, it's getting out of control).
I think the negative trust should be removed and replaced with neutral one. it's not like he lied to or scammed anyone. however, the neutral trust should stand. after all, he did refuse to take the blame before he finally admitted his mistake.

I say bitcointalk should just ban simple captcha faucets (or maybe all of them), I don't even know why people bother reading these threads.
or just add a childboard named "others".

I know bitcoin since 2011, and just get started in 2014 So, i don't have any bitcoin ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) lol the first I've found out about bitcoin was on 2010, when I was looking for cough ways to make money online cough. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) at the time I thought it wasn't worth it.. imagine my surprise when I saw a news about BTC back in Sept. 2013.

I was not aware of how to properly use the trust system, it wasnt entirely obvious to a newbie actually since one has to click to see the negative feedback for this user.
I wish I can't can give you a link to a tutorial or something, but for the life of me I can't find such thread.. so I'll just explain this very briefly. you probably already figured it out but whatever. when people who are not in your trust network leave a feedback on someone, it will appear as an untrusted feedback. as you are a new member, you must have your trust setting as default right now. so whenever someone that is listed on the DefaultTrust list leave a negative feedback to some poor soul, you'll see their trust rating glows red. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif)

If you are referring to redsn0w's recent blunder then people will likely use an escrow service that is more mature and has a longer history of trading, and demonstrates their understanding of proper security procedures
Very sad, that people can not understand, that more mature escrow service and longer history can not protect from human error, hacking/physical compromising and from disappearing of agent/service... ![Cry](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cry.gif) and thus, we should use the multi-sig method? be patient, o son of adam. for if thy way is rightful and provably secure, humanity shall take heed of it in time. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) I mean for real, I know about the multi-sig method, but as the only one who is using it is you; which are a fairly new member, people are bound to have some suspicions. that's just how people are.

looks like the neg is gone...Thank you Vod!
He left neutral trust showing that he clearly does not like the OP probably it's because of the OP's little "campaign"

I am very confident that Satoshi Nakamoto is from Europe and not from USA or America or from Asia. Let me explain how i come to this conclusion. This idea came when i see the time of the first genesis Block. It was established at 18:15:05 GMT. I am very sure that Satoshi first runs his miner gpu from his apartment. The next logical step is to do this in his personal afternoon relaxing time. The second evidence is the time that have post in this forum. If you see this statics https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3;sa=statPanelthe time that he has done most of his posts was between 15:00 to 23:00 GMT time. He has near zero posts in the morning job europe zone time from 7 to 12. I have not search if this few posts that has done from 6:00 7:00 or 9:00 GMT time is from one general day or in that day there is a national holiday in a europe country. The most popular time that he has done some posts here is 17:00 GMT and that means 19:00 Athens Greece 20:00 Moscow Russia 18:00 Vienna Austria 18:00 Rome Italy 18:00 Berlin Germany 18:00 Paris France GPU miner, really? I've always thought that a cpu was enough at difficulty 1. to my knowledge it is the satoshi Nakamoto asia,, whether the news I get right or wrong .. if indeed he came from europe why he has a name like asian ?? I think it's satoshi Nakamoto is the name of some people who were in asia .. and I am still not convinced that you are saying that it Nakamoto satoshi european .. sigh.. firstly, you quoted the wrong guy. secondly, Asian names doesn't mean they're from Asia; especially as Japanese names are so popular.. thridly thirdly, improve your English. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I actually thought of the same thing. but it looks like he introduced himself as a Canadian on his very first post...

I suggest you to be a little more patient and wait until Vod shows up then talk to him.
there's no need to badmouth him when he's not even here. wait for him to log in and approach him

in the past year we've already seen 2 other events surrounding missing Asian airliners, wtf ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) This is in fact very strange. The statistics would show that this is very unlikely to happen. Even more so when you consider the fact that both flights are associated with maliasia forgot where I read this, but apparently in this case it's because AirAsia was growing too rapidly for its own good. the demands of planes and pilots (and plane technicians too, I guess) made it impossible for them to [1] train their pilots properly and [2] do a full maintenance on every plane.
