Thanks for picking up the errors, fellas. These images are great too. I picked one for the home page that seems fitting in implying anonymity. I think it's looking pretty sweet: http://darkcoinsample.hostoi.com/ sorry - but that light blue in the top bar just does NOT work !!!! (why don't you stick to the grey you used before and expand the font a bit ?) - your picture (word map) in the first edit was so much better (as we are all global) - FIRST is way too big and looks like a title why don't use DARKCOIN

Good news on the development front, yet a small dip on the charts. Are folks not happy with the open source release of DarkSend?
Well we've just had a huge pump and recovered just amazingly well. We're still close to 3x the value we had before this pump with a peak around 4.2x the value before the pump. DarkSend hasn't been open sourced yet though. Here's a little graph to help you understand how Darkcoin price works for people who follow development versus people who only notice darkcoin when they are done with their pump and dump shitcoins.  hahaaa well put, specially the part with the 2 year old

I was thinking about the goverments (of the US and Europe mainly) and I think in the near future (with some terrorist excuse) they will try to close the DarkSend masternodes system. We are now out of the focus of the media, but if Evan succeed (and I have no doubt about that) we will be exposed to all kind criticism.
The anonimity is a real threat to the goverments and powerful people. They will be very nervous in the next few months/years (if they are nervous with dark wallet, and they just need to hack one server....)
I think we must anticipate this possibility.
Our weakness link in the chain are the Masternodes. If we use external servers, we must spread it all over the world. It's no sense we all use the "Amazon" servers, because Amazon is a US company the US goverment can easily close that.
Maybe sounds paranoid, but I think our masternodes must be placed in servers of companies located all around the world, in Russia, Southamerica, african or asian countruies (not in china, of course), etc... Not only in US and EU. This will make our Masternodes net more powerful.

but this has to stand strong , decentralized, and uncrackable !! (Masternodes have to be spread as far as we can) When we launch, it has to be a 100% ! (sure Evan knows this)

WHOW, that is fast !! I think we should take it easy on the open source (sure it has to be done) but no rush ! First we need darksend and master nodes to be running a 100 % (tested to the MAX)

Wanted to let everyone know that I've been rewriting/editing copy for a new website, and have made some progress on adapting a template. Still a bit to do but would welcome feedback so far. It's just a proposal but should hopefully be better than the current site. Here's a screengrab of part of the front page...  Sorry to say but I don't think that color scheme works at all. The light blue looks way out of place, and the 'Darkcoin' text logo at the top left is lost in the header background. Also the colors in the Darkcoin logo don't really match up with the chosen color scheme in general. The font choice is excellent though. EDIT: Also, if those arrows are meant for navigation, they need to contrast more with the background. Have to strain to see them. Great Start, but i have to agree, that light blue background does NOT work ! sorry i would make it darker, maybe even try the dark blue from the logo ! tx for working on it

Nope, this isn't correction. A lot people got in recent days because they expected Drk countinue growing and give them short term profits. If Drk don't increase any more in next 2-3 weeks, they'll start selling and price will slowly decrease. I agree and honestly we can do without the whales for a bit ! Keep it steady, the markets will show when the next releases are out. Stocked up a bit before it all hit, and am set for the next round

FAIR WARNING: All of you guys asking for help to setup Masternodes should consider not running a Masternode. If you have issues deploying the wallet on any machine of any kind, you more than likely won't have the necessary background to fully harden that machine either. Instead of paying to get the wallet deployed only, pay for someone to identify an AMI/image for your or even better harden a long-term public release.
Also don't forget that security has to be an ongoing concern, and starting with a properly hardened image is not the end of it. You will have to daily monitor and remediate where necessary. You will also have to make sure your selected hosting company lives up to its name. You may have a properly secured machine, but it's only as secure as the infrastructure it sits on.
Considering 1K DRK is quite valuable today and likely to be more valuable in the future, don't just drop your Masternode out there in the wild like sitting ducks for script kiddies to compromise. If you get compromised, do not come back to complain about Darkcoin because this one is 99.99% on you (with the minor exception of wallet/client vulnerabilities).
Very good point !! I would love to do it but after looking into the details i have to admit i am NOT that tech savy and am worried to make mistakes and loose it all ! I suggest for everybody else to be that honest with yourself ! let this be for the pro's out there (and i am worried about the million posts coming up and asking for help)
