Big day on Sunday with an extra serving of games. What teams do you guys like to cover?

I find these to be interesting:

Miami/Buffalo - Miami really needs this game but I just don't see them winning or even beating a +3 point spread. I'm waking up early to watch this one though...

Dallas/NY Giants - This has the makings of a good game but with a +2 Giants spread its too close to call. Giants tend to cover a lot more than Dallas, but it could be a blowout for Dallas and a massive V.

Pittsburgh/Cleveland - The line started at -6.5 Cleveland and has since moved as high as -10.5 on some books. Big Ben is out for this game, which probably explains it. Pretty sure Cleveland will win but -10 is too high for my tastes.

Arizona/LA Rams - Normally I'd be excited to take the Rams here but with Goff and Kupp out I'm a bit wary of what may happen. Goff is not my favorite quarterback, but he's a constant. Who knows how this Wolford guy is going to play, especially under this kind of late season pressure.

Tennessee/Houston - Titans need this game to stay alive in the playoff runnings; Texans are out. Titans team is relatively healthy whereas the Texans have a lot of injuries, including DeShaun Watson, who is starting but is listed as having a hand injury. Houston has lost their last 4 games in a row -- its all over for them. But the question is will the Titans cover the -7.5 spread and I'm thinking yes, they will. I will probably bet -7 just to play it safe... Maybe I'll place a bet on both.

I think 10% is too high. The criteria for plagiarism should be based on how often 7 or more words in a row are copied from another source (it should be never). That's a fairly common standard. If there's no better way to express your thoughts than the way somebody else already has, the borrowed words need to be put in quotations and attributed to the author.

First of all, I highly doubt you're gonna find an escrow for that kind of thing around here. Second of all, one important thing you skipped over was how do you know you are dealing with an honest escrow? Whatever you do, don't fall victim to an escrow scammer such as this guy.

There's a particularly dumb scammer on the forum who keeps pretending to be trusted forum escrows like monbux and SebastienJu on Telegram, even though they don't use Telegram and have been largely inactive for years. So if someone recommends them as an escrow to you off-forum, make sure they contact you via PM here on the forum before agreeing to any kind of deal.

That's not the problem. FortuneJack canceled the bet before the match started due to a technical error on the part of their odds provider. It can't honor your bet as a win because your bet was cancelled. If your tennis player would have lost, you'd have the same amount of bitcoin. Going on and on about your "remaining stake" is meaningless because your claim to the stake is contingent on having won a bet which you didn't win because it was canceled.

This is true... Be very careful or you are likely to be scammed. I would absolutely not do this without an escrow. And make sure you find the escrow on-forum. Preferable, do the entire deal on forum. If you chat with an escrow on Telegram without confirming their identity here first, you will be scammed.

This is most likely an old scammer that created a new account. Both parufkowy and atypowy are Polish words... its more than a coincidence, especially seeing as how the parufkowy account woke up specifically to post a trust feedback; same thing with adis663, who also says he is from Poland. NastyBoy has been more active, sent their 1 merit to a Polish local board poster. I think its a reasonable preventative measure to support your flag and also issue red trust.

Its an intermediary between his exchange output address and the hacker's address... doesn't sound like it was his.

The 1bd address has a lot of previous activity. For a long time it received weekly payouts from a pool associated with BTCGuild that went under in 2014.

What we need to do to affect the price of BTC is all set aside 15 minutes a day where we do nothing but meditate on the price of BTC of going upward. We need to coordinate it all to one time zone, so it will be forum time (UTC). So from 12:00 - 12:15 PM UTC each day, everyone drop what you're doing and meditate on the price going up. I think that if they responded they would probably just draw from their terms and conditions to avoid having to pay you anything additional. Not same as bitcoin. I use bitcoin about 4 times a week. People who hold hex would never think of using it as a currency. Hex may pump again -- I wouldn't be surprised. There's just nothing interesting about it to me and I don't see how it could possess any intrinsic value.

I have 2 questions if you don't mind, just for clarification:

1. Did they send you the cancellation notice email before the match had started?

2. Are you able to withdraw your initial deposit?

Knowing the answer to these might go a long way in determining what to do next.

Weird how people that hate bitcoin so much tend to ascribe to these bizarre biblical fantasies about armageddon. Maybe its just a general aversion to change that holds people back from accepting progress.
