Russia has many options that can be used to avoid sanctions. Using any payment method other than the dollar would be appropriate, and then we would find that local currencies or exchanges for oil/food would be more effective than the dollar.
Bitcoin may be an option, but I do not see that there is anything special about Bitcoin that will make the government adopt it.
The effect will be for individuals to buy Bitcoin, changes will happen, especially if governments decide to impose restrictions on deposit withdrawals or at least the currency depreciation.
I agree with your point, as they're accounting for 17% of the world's natural gas and 12% of its oil if they go for other local currencies in exchange there might be a chance to avoid sanctions. But I don't think Bitcoin would be an option because as they're dealing in a huge scale they'll prefer stable currencies, because they cannot do a sudden shift to bitcoin as it is very volatile! They can legalize crypto by introducing their own crypto in to the market and imposing tax on other crypto currencies like how India did recently. And I dare say one more thing, US and EU will not exclude Russia from the SWIFT alliance. Russia is the main oil supplier to the US and EU countries. if US and EU exclude Russia from SWIFT, they are pushing Russia towards China, I don't think they will be that stupid. Russia is the 4th largest gold and foreign currency reserve country in the world, it has a lot of opportunities to avoid sanctions. Many hypothesize that they will use bitcoin to fend off sanctions. bitcoin is good but with volatility and manipulation not the ideal choice to save a country's economy. |

Unfortunately, Russia has achieved its intentions and attacked Ukraine, I really thought that would not happen - but unfortunately, no one stood behind Ukraine firmly and with attitude. It's sad when war happens, all consequences fall on civilians. But I think Russia and Putin are not as selfish and cruel as China. War is probably the last resort they can do as they have warned Ukraine many times before. Politically if Ukraine merges nato and US will set up military bases in Ukraine. This is endangering the safety of Russia. I think Putin is doing the right thing when defending Russia's territory against the plots of the US and the West. If Ukraine chooses to be a neutral country, nothing will happen. |

As a newbie I kinda like investing in projects that are audited atleast so back to my question, USDT is the biggest stable coin right? Out of all the stablecoins currently on the market, USDT is the most centralized and although there are always allegations of market manipulation and money laundering surrounding it. but it is still the most used stablecoin on exchanges. If USDT crashes, it could send the crypto market into crisis. something that no one dared to think about. |

The Indian women's cricket team is not performing badly but I think is actually getting overshadowed by the bigger events like IPL and men's cricket. And BCCI has a really good flow of money from the men's cricket. So, I think even they are not that interested in promoting women's cricket right now. The Women cricketers are really skilled and they have some incredible players but as a fan how many series do you watch and how many matches have you watched till now. The problem is that they have no attracted the masses to attract the advisers that converts to money. Until then their counterparts will over shadow them. I use to watch Women's T20 world cup and i see them entertaining but i doubt i am able to watch the longer version. I think that the Indian women's cricket team has some good skillful players. But I only enjoy watching the shorter formats of the women's cricket team because in the longer format I feel like the players become fatigued really quick and because of the fatigue the skill also deteriorates a little. And I know that the people in the subcontinent are not really that much interested in women's cricket so the revenue is not going to be as expected. |

We can't say Indian women's team is bad in its performance. In 49.3 overs India lost all the wicket scoring 279 runs. New Zealand batted second even after winning the toss. They played in a much steady manner from the very beginning of the match. Finally New Zealand won the match by the 50th over first ball. Scoring 280 runs, New Zealand have lost 7 wickets. Indian team will give the best in the upcoming days. I was surprised to see Bayern Munich struggling against Salzburg. Because I thought that they would win this game comfortably even if they concede a goal. But this was not the case. Bayern Munich were even under the threat of losing this game by 2-0. They should be thankful for Adamu's missing a huge opportunity. And I expect no mistake from Bayern Munich in Allianz Arena. They should be able to destroy Salzburg without much problem. They should show their real strength and improve their morale highly.
