3621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Play2Mint & Play2Earn Blockchain Games on: August 29, 2022, 10:21:47 PM
I'm playing mmorpg Ni No Kuni. It's a free to play game at same time it's a pay to win game. You earn in-game tokens called Territe and Asterite by ranking among the top players and by killing respective monsters. Many players are complaining the game isn't profitable and only those who heavily invest on the game are able to earn by ranking on the top, while killing monsters doesn't worth the time spent for the earned rewards.

I stiil don't have any conclusions about the game, but the lack of interest from players who want fast and easy money is a good sign. It helps filtrating the environment somehow. Moreover, bots aren't able to harm the economy, because they don't rank among top players and until they reach a high level where they could potentially have access to better drops the accounts will be spotted, banned and removed.

Besides this game, i don't know any other alternatives right now which can provide players a full gaming experience.

As much as it pains me to say this as a BTC holder, I think anything you can reasonably purchase now for Bitcoin, you should.

I'd probably think now's the time to also buy FUN if it's at a low enough price, if you expect it to hold as well or better than BTC.

Unfortunately it is not so simple when we talk about FUN case. The price might be low in $, but price of BTC is low too and it makes the whole calculations not so simple. Today token costs 38 sat, not so long time ago, it was 35; 10% change. I just do not feel TODAY is a good moment to buy, when few days ago it was “a lot” cheaper.
Just a small price increase on BTC and token will become (the most probably) cheaper again.
Today you are right, but it's hard to make such assumptions precisely, because let's say bitcoin crashes more yet, then we would think we should have bought FUN for 38 satoshis and we would consider it a cheap price, as the more btc loses value, the more expensive the quotation between FUN and bitcoin becomes.
After all we have to make a choice without knowing what is going to happen next in crypto market. It can always be a good or bad move, and we never know until we finally face the consequences of our actions.
3623  Economy / Speculation / Re: I've been confused in BTC on: August 29, 2022, 08:46:46 PM
I am very disappointed with the state of Bitcoin in the current market. Because last week its price was 24000 dollars but now it shows 21 thousand dollars. I want to know from you, is the price of Bitcoin likely to fall further?
I'm also disappointed, but that is a consequence of the global economical scenario, more specifically the american one. I see crypto assets aren't interesting for investors right now, because they find it better to invest in US earning high interest rates, with low investment risk (low volatility). Thinking rationally, it really seems more profitable on short run to invest like they are doing. Why would they risk themselves in bitcoin's volatile market, while they can make decent profit safely with fiat?

Although on long run the scheme proposed by Federal Reserve isn't sustainable. In fact, they operate a kind of ponzi scheme which relies on a constant flux of new printed money to survive, consequently devaluing dollar currency and decreasing purchasing power of the citizens.

Once their economical model starts failing, cryptocurrency and more precisely bitcoin enters in scene again. So if you are a long term investor, don't frustrate yourself, be patient and confident this phase is going to end at some point and we will see bitcoin pumping again.
3624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT WORTH WITH SUCCESS? on: August 29, 2022, 06:38:57 PM
I believe if you create an useful NFT which have a practical application it's more likely to lead you to success than creating default NFTs which are just a image/banner/picture/logo. Or you can apply to work for NFT projects and platforms, so you are assured to get paid by a company for your work, instead of putting your works for sale, without any guarantee someone is going to purchase them or not, what I must say it's really hard to sell, because there is a lot of competition on this field and a lot of people creating very similar NFTs for sale. You have to create original and innovative content to stand out among so many creators.
3625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you exchange Fiat for Crypto or Vice Versa? on: August 28, 2022, 10:42:43 PM
I earn crypto and have to swap it to fiat in an almost weekly basis in order to use the money to pay for my expenses. Right now I'm relying on my crypto assets for all my needs. It's not too much, because I live a humble and cheap life, while also trying to save for the future, so every bucks I earn in crypto make a lot of difference in the end. Before it was even better, because I live in a third world country where goods were really cheap, however the inflation has been hiting hard recently and I'm seeing my purchasing power decreasing day by day. If crypto helps me to survive or escape the chaos, like it has been helping me since the beginning, I will be very thankful. Of course, with God's permission and guidance in first place.
3626  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forbes claims that more than half of Bitcoin trade records are fake on: August 28, 2022, 08:23:31 PM
Forbes is just speculating. They think more than half of bitcoin trade records are fake, but can't show any proof.

On the other hand, I don't blindly trust exchanges, consequently I can't deny it's possible to fake transactions to raise volume in the market for different purposes, being the main goal market manipulation. In this case, to create a bullish athmosphere, so exchanges can keep most traders and investors as possible active in crypto market, what is good, necessary and essential for their businesses.
3627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Common Types of Bonuses Offered by Online Casinos on: August 28, 2022, 07:24:35 PM
Does anyone remember the simple and clean giveaway bonus? It was offered by at least one casino as far as remember, at 'games and rounds' sub-board of gambling forum section and all you had to do was to claim it once a day on the respective forum thread. No restrictions, no impositions and no tricks were imposed on gamblers in order to enjoy the benefit. It worked more like a faucet. I believe it was even possible to just accumulate all your claimed satoshis and cashout, for those who didn't want to risk their earnings, but since it has been so long, I can't remember exactly.
Was it like just dropping your username of that certain casino?

If that's it, I remember that and there are too many participants with that type of giveaway. It's certainlt a clean bonus for those followers of those certain casinos that does this giveaway.

It's a marketing strategy for them and with the little that they give is being spent back to the casino so, it's a win-win for that offer by the casino.
Yes, it was simple as that. It's curious back then this kind of giveaway seemed to work nicely for both sides, the casino and the players, without prejudice for the house, but suddenly those giveaways disappeared, they no longer exist. Or the explosion of crypto popularity made them an unnecessary method for casinos to promote themselves, or the volume of cheating has increased considerably, forcing casinos to change their approach on marketing sector and completely extinguish those giveaways.
3628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good one for invest on: August 28, 2022, 05:43:00 PM
Personally I wouldn't invest on this project and I think I don't need to dig it further to reach this conclusion. The banner shared by OP says it all. A yearly return of 382,945% like they promise is actually negative propaganda, because every investors with at least a little experience on this market will flag that as a potential scam or unreliable token. Interest paid is too high, therefore it's not an advised or good project to be invested.

Even if it's a legit project, you can expect the token's price is going to crash really fast, because there isn't demand to follow an absurd supply of 0,0235% paid every 15 minutes over holders' funds plus a 382,945% APY.
3629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Brasileirão 2022 - Brazilian Championship Serie A on: August 28, 2022, 01:02:32 AM
The result was good for Palmeiras. To play against the second place for a tie doesn't change the results on the big picture. +1 point for each of them and everything continues the same with no risks for the first place. A lot of matches have to happen yet until we might say there is a slight threat to Palmeiras dominance in this championship. On the other hand, if Fluminense had won, things would start getting really interesting and competitive.
3630  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who are your favorite dealers ? on: August 27, 2022, 09:22:34 PM
It's pleasant to play with a pretty girl on the other side of the screen, and those are always the favorite dealers of most gamblers, although they must not lose their focus on what really matter on that situation: the gambling game itself. I don't know if a gambler or another develop a kind of platonic love for these professionals, but it isn't likely to be going further. Dealers are doing their jobs and attend hundreds of different people, so it's not exactly the proper place to find a romantic affair.
3631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: KYC on Gambling Business on: August 27, 2022, 07:00:15 PM
The casino argues that the selection of KYC for users is random and not based on anything. But still, the gambler who gets his turn to do KYC feels that he doesn't need to do KYC.
Which casino argues that? I've never heard KYC is randomly asked to gamblers. As far as I know it's related to the volume of money you deposit and withdraw.

Is this unavoidable in crypto based casinos? Or are crypto gamblers also required to do KYC? If so, crypto can't be as anonymous as it used to be because we realize that today's governments have gone too far in controlling a person's identity and what they use the internet for.
It's avoidable since you play at a casino which doesn't enforce KYC. There are few of them around in crypto universe. Anyway, crypto casinos in general don't ask majority of their players for KYC, because they don't gamble with large amounts of money, therefore they must be safe to gamble 'anonymously'.
3632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto and Bitcoin began to be known by the rural community on: August 27, 2022, 05:20:28 PM
I am sure that people are more and more aware of the name 'Bitcoin' or crypto, but that dosen't mean they understand it or will use it. Especialy in rural areas where people might not have the needs to trade with it (general knowlage of it, personal infrastructure like computers or even public infrastructure like internet accessibility) or the means to invest in it. Until those issues are resolved steps towards their adoption of crypto can't be taken.
Yes, it's hard to conclude if the man displayed on the picture is a bitcoin adopter without further evidence. There are people who simply think the logo design of bitcoin on the clothes is pretty and purchase it for themselves or to gift others. It's not hard to hear stories of people who use clothes or accessories displaying unknown symbols to them, and once they realize what they mean, people get really surprised sometimes.

Anyway, at least bitcoin is reaching to these people somehow, slowly and step by step on their subconscious.
3633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who Would You Likely Sign Up Under In Casinos on: August 27, 2022, 05:01:02 PM
I tend to sign up through the link from the person who introduced me to the casino and that made me interested in giving it a try. It can be a review site or more likely a youtube channel. Of course it's more advised to have a rakeback promoter as referrer, but you have to be focused on that purpose since the beginning, otherwise only after you create your account through another links you will notice there is that possibility, and then it's too late, because if you attempt to create a second account to get rakeback you may be flagged as multi account or cheater.

GT is obviously biggest event and biggest reward given by freebitcoin. I really think that it’s gamble of “the richest”.
Indeed it is for the whales, because big gamblers are going to own most golden tickets on the competition, with 1 GT being rewarded every 500,000 satoshis wagered on multiplier or events. The guys on top 10 daily wagered amount are going to have tons of GTs, against average users who have a dozen of tickets on best hypothesis.

In my opinion it's preferable to wager 500,000 satoshis to receive 1 GT than purchasing each of them for 25,000 satoshis, though.
I would guess that GT is not something you should be buying anyway. I mean they are giving it away for a reason, that means if you end up gambling that much, in the long run they would make a profit. Plus this is a huge huge huge place, people don't really know how many people visit this website per day, this is in top 2000 visited website in the world, they get about 50 million visits per month, can you understand how much that is?

We are talking about 1.5 million website visits per day. When you understand how massive that is, you are going to understand that if you ever see thequin ever post here, that's a big big kindness from him, they could literally delete this topic and still be fine, wouldn't even feel it.
I guess the success they have reached is in great part due to the profissionalism freebitco.in is conducted since the beginning, in the early years of cryptocurrency. They have built a solid reputation and care for it, therefore they gather sweet fruits by nowadays, while also being generous for maintaining the faucet alive even though they don't earn from ads anymore. But I think there can be many more users yet, considering the world has more than 7 billion people alive.

I haven’t used freebitco.in for a long time and tried it again today. A lot has changed. What is Wheel of Fortune and where can I find it on freebitco.in? Sorry, I’m just too lazy to read the whole thread. That’s why I’m just asking here.  Wink
You earn one free spin daily on the email you have registered on your personal account. Check there and click the banner for a roll. Moreover, you can have access to a premium program which guarantees a determined number of daily spins by acquiring a required amount of FUN tokens on the platform. Minimum amount required is 2500 FUN.

It's also possible to buy spins inside freebitco.in with RPs. 50 RPs for 1 WOF spin.

Or go to rewards tab, and purchase a daily bonus package, so you earn spins on every faucet claim (for limited time). For an example: 4500 RPs for 5 WOF spins on every faucet claim for a 24 hours time period.
3635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still into high APY projects? on: August 26, 2022, 10:19:48 PM
The end is always the same like in any hyips and ponzi schemes. Early investors make profit, while late investors lose their investments. This kind of concept never ends, they only change their methods to hide previous failures and to lure investors to keep entering new schemes. If we look back in time, when crypto was starting the trend was fake cloud mining business, then once this scam became quite evident, they had to change the methodology. From that moment on, lots of crypto projects started appearing promising the same returns of those old scam websites, but with a fresh and new frontage, appearance.

3637  Economy / Economics / Re: Education on: August 26, 2022, 05:06:47 PM
Theoretically education is the key, but in practice contacts and the ability to persuade the masses are what really matter. At least that is the reality and the perspective when we see most successful people around. There are lots of uneducated people dictating the ways of modern society, especially at artistic scene, and a lot of self-proclaimed entrepreneurs who made fortune selling online coach courses promising big financial returns to customers who become their pupils and purchase their products. There are also those successful businessmen who owe their personal triumph to politicians, since it was through their schemes they achieved ostensible patrimony.

Education must be a path to trail in order to make you fulfill your inner being and to increase your capacity of helping others during your lifetime. If education will lead you to success it's just a possible consequence we don't have any assurance if it's going to happen or not.
3638  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The first physical business that accepts Bitcoin payments in my area. on: August 26, 2022, 02:03:47 PM
Nigeria is getting really hot in bitcoin adoption as currency. The local devalued fiat currency must make it a necessity. Who knows if in some time bitcoin becomes the main local currency? Even though the government is against crypto, at some point they won't be able to stop bitcoin anymore, because adoption will become so popular, while impacting the economy positively that they won't want to forbid or restrict it.

Businessmen like the owner of this wine shop are doing their part in allowing and introducing bitcoin to their customers, although further training and preparation are needed, so employees can also accept bitcoin as payment. Otherwise, customers will have to predict when the owner is going to be on the spot to meet him in order to make their purchases through bitcoin.

If anyone here is optmitisc about Sao Paulo, playing in home, capable of beat Flamengo, it's a great odd of 3.90 to São Paulo only victory
Maybe in Morumbi Sao Paulo can win, not impossible, they already did memorable matches in the finals.

Today is easy to watch Sao Paulo, Globo channel will stream the match, Corinthians only on SporTV and Premiere.
Sometimes we have to risk, I think you did well, because those odds were really attractive and most brazilian teams play pretty balanced when compared to each other. São Paulo had conditions to beat Flamengo, but unfortunatelly it didn't happen this time and Flamengo won with 3x1 score.

So far it has been difficult to bet against Flamengo and Palmeiras, but their invincibility won't last forever. Those who predict the correct moment when it's going to end will make a decent profit from their bets.

I really like to bet against statistics in the Brazilian championship.
Often times this championship tends to be quite unpredictable... strong teams end up losing to teams that are way down the leaderboard, and that's not an uncommon thing to see.
Fortunately, no one can statistically predict these non-standard results, which ends up being a good opportunity for bettors.
Yes, like Fortaleza which was in one of the last positions of the championship, but impressively recovered since their match against International which they won by 3x0 weeks ago. And on their last match they managed to win against Corinthians by 1x0, what was really interesting and unexpected. Now they are in 13° position with chances of reaching top 10, who knows...

Something that called my attention on this championship is the high volume of betting platforms sponsoring clubs and the championship itself. I think I spotted more than 10 brands on the same match. All those businesses offering the same services and appearing side by side on the same place. In few years I guess more than 90% of soccer industry will be sponsored by gambling firms.
