3621  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Being charged 10% when sending on: December 29, 2021, 04:24:50 PM
The best explanation so far is that there's some kind of bug on the site that requests less BTC than the amount I want to deposit for some weird reason.

How did you know that is a bug?

Have you tried to contact Tigergaming if what platform they use for BTC/USD calculation on withdrawal/depositing?

So that you can use that platform for calculation in the future if you are going to deposit again or withdraw.

Like the above said all platforms like Coingecko, Coinmarketcap, or preev they have different price calculations for Bitcoin.
3622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Trust Wallet or TokenPocket? on: December 29, 2021, 04:03:39 PM
I don't have experience with using TokenPocket but both of them offers Tron staking

However, Trust wallet current APY for Tron is around 4% APY and TokenPocket is around 11%.

I don't know how safe TokenPocket is but it's already a well-known wallet here on the altcoin section. I suggest if you feel safe using TokenPocket then take the 11% offer from them. If not then go with TrustWallet.
3623  Economy / Services / Re: Sales Representatives needed in Korea for a kind of immersion cooling miner on: December 29, 2021, 01:59:09 PM
If you are looking for a sales representative or reseller I think offordscot is what you looking for.

You can try to contact him through his profile here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1449095
Or go to his official thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5187550.0

He is one of the marketing sellers here on the forum.
3624  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc ban and fud its also financial market manipulation on: December 29, 2021, 01:48:55 PM
FUD is just a FUD even on the Forex market there are still many FUDs it's already part of the market. They always do it to manipulate the price but it won't affect too much.

About FUD on BTC it's always volatile since before even without FUDs the price is too volatile unlike on the local currencies or any assets from Forex.

That is why pro traders analyze the market that includes news without them they can't analyze what will be the next price movement.
If you know the Bitcoin price history before there is no difference in what happens these days every "after block halving".
3625  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon 841 hashboards problem. on: December 28, 2021, 11:25:39 PM
ZeusBTC doesn't have a guide for this unit and I can't find any hashboard diagram for Avalon 841.

Why not try to compare the two hashboard that you know working and the broken one?

I don't know what exactly this unit hashboard looks like but I think you can follow the tracks on that hashboard and compare the resistance between the good and bad hashboard.
3626  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help with Antminer S9J Fans issue after replacing 2 new fans on: December 28, 2021, 04:03:35 PM
That's good news if you found the issue.
What exactly connector you are looking for is that the socket one? or the male connector? Look at this image below

You can find that on https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/Parts-Tools-Details.asp?ID=1157 but the problem the minimum order is 50
Or might be this one https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/Parts-Tools-Details.asp?ID=110

Why not jumper the wire directly to the board?

Check this post below as a reference
Hi , i have ONE solution in hardware but easy to take !

the fan are 4 pin

- Black   =  - 12V
- Red     = + 12V
- Yellow =  Signal Speed
- Blue    = Signal PWM

If you try to disconnect ONLY the blue wire (PWM) the fan is forced to 100% ...

Try it to unlock your miner Wink
3627  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Expresscrypto Help!! on: December 27, 2021, 11:49:20 PM
Does it seem that this website is an old faucethub or a clone?

I don't know if they can resolve this database issue but I think this is an exit scam attempt just like what happened to faucethub before.

Do you have an account there and have funds left?
Let's hope it won't end the same as faucethub.
3628  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best offline portfolio tracker? on: December 27, 2021, 11:36:53 PM
Most of the tools suggested above are online If an offline portfolio tracker is what you looking for I think excel or spreadsheets is only the available tool out there that you can run offline.

Can you check this spreadsheet here https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/n5tvpv/due_to_a_high_number_of_requests_ive_updated_my/
And I think all of them are automated compared to your excel?

You can also find more tracker here "Spreadsheet for Crypto Porfolio" and "Awesome Crypto tracker"
3629  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Chip running hot on Avalon 1166 Pro 81TH on: December 27, 2021, 11:03:58 PM
Out of curiosity, would it be possible to explain what these numbers mean?

In the log description it says "How many calculation fault of each hashboard" and goes on to mention a normal number being smaller than 2/10000.

My numbers are much higher MH[1461 2024 807] HW[4292] DH[2.006%].

Actually, I also read the description logs what are those logs are and I just use them as notes on reading logs. But the logs from ferjacon seems new logs on the first run and get those hardware errors that is why I suspected something bad on the middle board.

Under your API logs, you get higher numbers meaning there is a hardware error the middle hashboard gets more hashboard faults. It could be ASIC chip overheating it's your old issue if your miner right now is running stable and hashing you don't need to be a worry.

If you want to get other meaning of those logs I suggest you check the thread created by HagssFIN you can find it from this link below and learn how to troubleshoot

3630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Signal Notifications on: December 27, 2021, 04:13:30 PM
If what you want is trading signal notification Binance already has that feature you just need to explore or do what Charles-Tim suggested above.

If you want a more advanced tool then I suggest you check tradingview you need to search for those coins and put them all in your watch list and set the parameter under the chart of each coin with alerts. It works on my phone as an alert I don't know if their web version will work the same but if the signal notification you are looking for is a web version you can try the web version.

Ok, I tried to check and it seems that they also have an alert but it's a popup notification or option to alert through your phone.
3631  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What are some good open source projects I can get involved in as a beginner? on: December 27, 2021, 03:36:32 PM
It seems that this is posted a few months ago but if you still need a source I know there is a huge source of learning about crypto programming.

You can find them from this link below and go straight under the implementation of blockchain. You can see most of the programming languages and related to creating a blockchain.

Another source is this link below it will guide you to build a DIY blockchain

3632  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help with Antminer S9J Fans issue after replacing 2 new fans on: December 27, 2021, 03:09:02 PM
I checked both fans and physically they are working, I need to read more about how to do the Brain OS because I have no idea on how to install it LOL.

All guides are already on their documentation just click the link above and get some help there.
Or read the whole guide on how to install braiins OS with an SD card below.

Then the firmware you can download it here https://braiins.com/os/plus
3633  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Help with Antminer S9J Fans issue after replacing 2 new fans on: December 27, 2021, 02:18:39 PM
It seems the other fan is not detected only one fan check carefully if the exhaust or the intake fan is running and should both plug properly.

If it's running fine the other option is if fans are running fine then you can disable the fan check by switching to Braiins OS or any custom firmware that can able to disable fan check.

Heres the official thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5036844.0
3634  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: That honest attitude is better than the thousands of spam posts you spread on: December 26, 2021, 11:52:59 PM
I'm not a merit source but I'm one of those who gave merit for his kind.

I remember someone also do the same thing to me when I sent my BTC accidentally.
I have big respect for those people they are very kind and honest.
3635  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Track Total Amount or Average Price Onchain on: December 26, 2021, 11:45:33 PM
Bitcoin has Electrum to see all history rates and capital gains but if you are talking about other coins or tokens why not use tracker instead?

I don't know if this is exactly what you are looking for but you can try to use https://www.cointracker.io/ to see all of your average and history price of those coins or token.
Or try this one https://cointracking.info/
3636  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Chip running hot on Avalon 1166 Pro 81TH on: December 26, 2021, 11:09:14 PM

If someone knows how to try to fix the problem I'll be gratefull.

Have you tried to flash it with the latest version?
If not try it first because all of their latest firmware from Canaan has fan optimization so maybe your miner still running with older firmware?

Look at these logs MH[0 2 0] HW[2] DH[39.252%] it shows the issue on the middle hashboard and maybe it's due to overheating.
3637  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Help buy Amazon products to earn BTC or other cryptocurrencies on: December 23, 2021, 11:49:22 PM
I think he is looking for a discount using BTC and I think he only earns if he gets discounts by trading or buying Amazon products like purse.io offers 15% discounts but the only problem is I don't know if they do support amazon.de products.
But according to this https://www.reddit.com/r/btc/comments/pka6e0/purseio_has_enables_amazonde_fantastic_news_for/
It seems they do support Amazon.de products just try to contact them for help.

Look at their search button from purse.io

As you can see DE flag is there.

Another option that I found here on the forum Bitrefill selling a gift card for Amazon.de check it here https://www.bitrefill.com/buy/amazon_de-germany/?hl=en
Or you can try to contact him directly on his forum account here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=389306
3638  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Antminer S19 or Whatsminer M20/30 on: December 23, 2021, 11:20:30 PM
I don't think you can find someone here selling a broken s19 or Whatsminer. Have you tried to check this section https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=75.0

Also, I think you can try to contact ZeusBTC and maybe they have these broken units and maybe you can buy them at a cheap price.
Try to contact them here https://www.zeusbtc.com/ASIC-Miner-Repair/

And I think I found one on Google selling a 3d model for s19 pro check it from this link below
- https://sketchfab.com/3d-models/antminer-s19-pro-cryptocurrency-mining-hardware-0c1e418d4f464fba9e13f9d674d9ba50
3639  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Accept Bitcoin (&Altcoin) in online shop. (payment provider) on: December 23, 2021, 10:59:20 PM
Take note cryptoowoo can only support one CMS which is WordPress they don't support other CMS like Drupal or Joomla or Shopify.

For merchants very much used is coinpayments, I use it on my sites, never had problems with it.

Be careful using Coinpayments they have limited countries supported if your customer is living in these countries you will get some problems with Coinpayments
Look at it here https://www.coinpayments.net/help-restricted

I prefer something like BTCPay Server that is free and open source but it can be used only for accepting Bitcoin and Lightning Network payments.

No, you can add more coins you want with BTCpayserver the guide from their docs is just for Bitcoin and lightning network but you can add altcoins.
Read the source here "How to add altcoins"

3640  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Question about receiving addresses on: December 23, 2021, 05:10:25 PM
Now i created a wallet on electrum.
Is this desktop wallet (electrum) has lower transaction fees when transferring to binance? And is this trustworthy?

Electrum is not a web wallet it's a non-custodial wallet that you can both install on PC or Mobile phones.

About the fees, you can manually set how much fee you want and the transaction speed depends on the network and transaction fee.
Read this "How to manually set Electrum transaction fees?"

About trust then for me, this wallet is trusted never had any issue using Electrum. Just make sure you have a backup seed phrase for future recovery.
