3621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Evander Holyfield trilogy fight with Mike Tyson. on: August 23, 2020, 10:08:30 PM
Can we actually see a trilogy between Holyfield and Tyson?
If it does happen who do think will win?

The fight is possible to happen. But the question is, how much is the chance. There are talks just around a few months ago that both legends are interested to make a comeback. Maybe trying to gather first some hype to boost ticket sales in the future.

However, Tyson was scheduled to another boxer (Roy Jones Jr.) instead so there is a question now if Holyfield will be the supposed next one or the fight against Tyson won't happen for good.

Who will win? That's a question that is difficult to answer because our pick will be based on both boxer's past performance, records, or just simply who is our favorite between them.
3622  Economy / Economics / Re: Our country was called Province of China. on: August 20, 2020, 11:18:16 PM
Looking at the situation, I think we should not take this issue in general.

The product owner involved should be the only one to be questioned. There is no way China government will treat PH as a province, I mean if they do, we should have seen several cases like that in all Chinese products in Divisoria and Chinatown Binondo. Maybe those owners looked down at PH to the point that they listed it as a province on their product.
No, there have been some cases already that China is calling the Philippines as one of their provinces which is a great insult for every Philippine citizen. Any country called as a province by whatever country is a great insult, including your sovereignty. This should be an initiative for the China to correct their people not to look in the Philippines as one of their provinces, indeed that was a huge mistake by the owner of the product.

It's beyond our control. That's their own view and they are in China. Even their government will say against that, they won't listen. You can't just say what should they do. If they don't respect, then don't respect them back. In any country, there are citizens that looked down at any country. We have no way to change that thinking as long as they will shout for that within just their territory.

But it's another story if there will be a foreigner who will say that within PH territory. That will be the time now to take actions as they have no right to do that in our homeland.

Fortunately, the stores are now shut down and owners will be deported back to their country according to the City Mayor.
Yes, I'm glad that they already blacklisted the product as well as the company who is responsible for that. What I'm just a bit sad about is the lose of jobs, as we know we have a high unemployment rate due to the pandemic and this happens, and I'm very sure that there is a Filipino who lost his/her job because of this.

Yes, there will be affected people and loses jobs because there are a total of 4 stores that have been closed down.

But since their owners do a irresponsible acts right here in our country, I hope these people will understand the situation.

What I'm pissed off is those at DTI. They should have seen that early as all legit products are registered to them.

Other than that, he also mentioned something good:
Quote
“Ang laki ng pagbabago sa mga nangyari sa akin sa past year na dumaan. Naging malinaw sa pagiisip ko kung ano dapat ang temper, dapat attitude sa mga tao,” said Abueva.

Looks like we won't be seeing an old Calvin in the resume, but perhaps a new one now if the PBA Commissioner decision lifted his suspension.

That's good. His behaviour should be changed. He will likely be thrown completely in the league if he will behave like a kid again. I will assume the requirements given to him is more of community service and involving in the charity activities. And since pandemic hit the country, lots of works for him to be involved.

And just recently, he teamed up with volleyball star Michelle Gumabao to provide aid for the frontliners.

3624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: VR online casino games take gambling to the new level 🚀 on: August 20, 2020, 10:19:44 PM
What’s your opinion? Are VR games something that you would like to have in the cryptocurrency casinos as well?

Definitely yes. I like the feature but it seems it will take a long time before it will be widely used.

Maybe those who are capable now to finance their respective VR set will be more excited. But for average gamblers, I see that this will not be included in their buying list even they want to try it. To better enjoy the gaming experience, the minimum requirement for the setup must meet or the higher much better.

A VR set is mostly for gaming purposes but not all of them are gambling enthusiasts.
3625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in a good shape? on: August 20, 2020, 09:50:24 PM
Guys I haven't been here for a while and I'm wondering if Bitcoin is in a better shape than last time I checked 2 years ago.

Thanks

If you are only looking at the price to consider if Bitcoin is in better shape then better change your thinking.

Bitcoin is in better shape since the beginning.

Be involved once again so you are updated. From there you can answer the question by yourself.

3627  Economy / Speculation / Re: This time when the stock market crashes, Bitcoin will go to moon! on: August 20, 2020, 02:37:51 AM
There's a reason why stocks started to crashes a few months ago and it's reasonable. And besides, that crash won't surely last for long. Some stocks are even slowly rising up now after a few months of being in a bottom. And with several countries rushing the clinical test for the Covid-19 vaccine phase, it gained hopes that the economy will surely back again on its usual within the timeframe of 1-2 years. Stocks won't die. The foundation is strong.

Bitcoin will go to your moon price expectation even stocks won't crash. No matter the economic situation, good or worst, just always try to increase your hold BTC holdings as much as possible.
3628  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 19, 2020, 10:56:31 PM
Better if they used the venues on province since they can assure that the case of covid-19 is lessen compare to metro manila as well they can continue the game without worrying about getting back again on mecq status since if that happens for sur series will paused again.

Local Government Unit of most provinces in the country is strict. As much as possible they don't want to entertain or allow people from other areas. That might be a problem that PBA will face if they will choose to create the bubble outside Metro Manila. Even if the LGU will approve it, citizens themselves might disagree with the idea. But I trust PBA, they just need to show their terms so that people outside Manila will understand that there's nothing as big risk if they will choose to play there.

Other popular venues that PBA used are Philsports (Ultra) and Ynares but since these arenas are in Pasig, and we know that the Mayor here is actively doing good in response against Covid-19, these venues are also currently in use now.

That's what the authorities are actually recommending, at least safe for the players and we can just enjoy watching at home as long as it's live in TV.
Our problem is not as serious as in the USA, but it's better to be careful so having their own bubble is highly recommended.

They should start soon as we all missed the PBA.

Agree. Actually even with the big daily increase in the confirmed cases everyday, we can say we are still truly kicking compare to other countries.

Making own bubble shouldn't be a hard task for PBA.
3629  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Give away again. on: August 19, 2020, 10:40:08 PM
I have seen this yesterday. They are above of the recommended videos on the right and they are LIVE. These scammers really paid a slot to be on top of those video recommendations. I've reported the stream right away so if people can't see the link now, this might be the first time that Youtube shut down a page fast lol (or maybe the stream was already active for several hours or days before I saw it).

But just wondering here, why Youtube approve the channel in the first place? Of course, these scammers will pay/ask first for a special slot (right?) and it will be subject supposedly for Youtube's review and checking before they will approve this page to start.
3630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Would you trust a controlled ICO? XIAN COIN in particular... on: August 19, 2020, 10:23:14 PM
The team and their minions are hyping the coin at all PH forums, small or not, and social media groups. That alone is enough reason for me not to support the coin.

And the truth is, no way I will support any ICO/IEO that was started by a Filipino even the owner, devs and the team itself don't have a bad track history. Sad truth but most of PH organized project like this is more of hype.

Maybe my "kababayan" will goes mad at my statement but wake up please. There's no such thing that a project will know that their expected value in the future will be huge. XIAN COIN minions are confident they will surpass bitcoin's dominance. Smiley
3631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 19, 2020, 10:04:20 PM
I'm expecting they will release on the public their preparation plan for next month including what kind of setup they will do.

2 months preparation is enough for all of this including regular testing (actually some teams are now doing this).

I'm wondering where should be the supposed venue or their options. If I'm not mistaken Smart Araneta and MOA Arena have been a busy location for Covid-19 related response although I don't know if there's still activities there related to that. But I think not a problem since there will be no live audience, they can even play in a much smaller arena compare to these 2 big giants. I hope they will create their own bubble and not after the game, all staff and players will be allowed to go home just like normal.
3632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever wiped off a casino through Blackjack? on: August 19, 2020, 09:44:52 PM
Do you think I should try my hands on this game with real money?

You have knowledge about the game, so why not? There's a big difference in terms of pressure when playing with free money against real. You are more careful and attentive when playing in real money since there's a stake that you need to be careful of.

Now that you practice in real money let the real deal begin and see what will be the result. Risking money to test your knowledge is just fine. If you lose, then up to you to continue or not.

Have you ever made a lot of money and made a casino helpless with this game?

Don't ever think that way. Smiley
3633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 18, 2020, 11:58:21 PM
Lost a good amount betting for Dallas Mavericks. Frustrated with the game outcome. I'm already used to losing a good amount and can take it without a bitter feeling but on this recent one, it wasn't good.

I even accept my loss in the early quarter of the game and stopped watching the game because Mavericks was being down at 16 points. Any team can't afford to be downed like that while playing against the healthy and complete Los Angeles Clippers and as we know Mavericks didn't win against the Clippers in the regular season. KP's ejection is really a big deal for me as there is a large distance between Mavericks roster and Clippers roster which the latter is a powerhouse team.

Luka played good but lots of turnovers. He needs to adjust for that. Other Mavericks players should also step up. A good set of role players can destroy superstars. Smiley

I will come back in another game and hoping for a much bigger odds for Mavericks ML to make my bet worth even it's risky. Cool I'm not expecting Mavericks will win the series. I just want to take a bet at those decent odds at Mavericks as I think their series will not be a sweep, I hope.

P.S. I don't understand why Mavericks still gave a foul when the game is already decided and I think it's about 6 seconds left on the clock. Many will be wrecked I think if that foul won't happen as majority bet on Clippers -6. Cheesy

They are still giving a new rule or limits but it wont really be that enough

In my observation, gambling in the UK is heavily demanded especially during the times of lockdown. With this, gambling will be a good source of the government's revenue and can also give jobs to their people.

But the concern is, some gamblers do wreck and as a result, they faced financial problems. So instead of the government fully banning the gambling industry completely, which surely they won't do, they want to implement rules so that people there will be controlled. A good initiative but difficult to implement. The law about this needs to be adjusted.
3636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: August 15, 2020, 11:22:57 PM

So this is it, Portland Trail Blazers now clinched the last playoffs spot on the Western Conference.

Hell of a stats. They are really playing aggressively snatch the last spot.

Lillard: 31 (with 10 assists)
McCollum: 29
Anthony: 21
Nurkic: 22 (with 21 boards)

Their run is really exhausting. In their last few games, all were closed games. A few days rest and they will now face the Los Angeles Lakers.

On the other hand, a great job by the Future Rookie of The Year. Memphis can come back stronger next season. Not a bad run for a team that doesn't have a considered superstar level player.

The game between Nets and Portland is intense!

I was amazed by the Nets throughout the game playing much better without their key players. Their shooting is unbelievable and Blazers able to keep it up. I thought Nets will win that game as they just maintaining their lead but the "Dame Time" activated during the last quarter and Nets able to make the game close.

Sad that Spurs playoffs streak now broken. It was expected. It's a good run.
3639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mike Tyson vs Roy Jones Junior [PPV on Nov. 28] on: August 13, 2020, 11:59:16 PM
Seems like the marketing strategy of both fighters did not work as the interest of boxing fans to watch this fight is low.

Just read the article about that. Aside from that, the world is facing the pandemic so people might not want to spend on a PPV for now.

Maybe the best time would be next year. If only this fight were executed last year, it might generate a big revenue even for a charity or exhibition match.

Time now to change the thread title.
3640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is This Site Legit? on: August 13, 2020, 10:28:54 PM
That website is legit but still lots of room for improvements. Their reviews on other sites are good. I think with 1xbit, they include it because they haven't experienced a bad thing about the site. That kind of review sites also cares for their reputation as they are spreading their links so if there's a large voice about 1xbit being a scam, I'm sure they will remove it on their list.

But for a gambler, I believed it does not matter anymore if that site is legit or not as we know already how to determined if a review is genuine or not.

For a newbie, I also don't think they will just fall on these reviews as in most cases, they will only choose to use a reputable and popular website.

DYOR is always a must. We just need to be used to doing this even outside gambling.
